Sun, Moon & Potatoes is my go to place for all cuisines! They have a wide array of dishes, right from soups, starters and main course to mocktails and dessert! I can positively say that I've never had a bad experience here! The dishes I ordered were :

◾Tsinghai Potatoes (must try)
◾Cream cheese herb roasted potatoes
◾Char grilled chicken with garlic bread or rice

It is an awesome place with nice atmosphere and light music at background. Crispy mustard chicken, chicken lasagne, veg and non veg bruschetta, veg cheese ball, Sizzler, etc etc. Have tried so many dishes over here but this place has never let me down.
If you're looking for a pocket friendly place with good food. This is it. Ambience: It's a small place with simple ambience. Food: I only tried 2 things. Devil wings and prawns paprika and it was good experience. Devil Wings ARE A MUST try. Dripped in the combination of sweet and spicy sauce, it's just super delicious. The quantity was also worth the price that was charged Prawns Paprika : Usually I don't prefer eating prawns outside. But their prawn paprika was creamy blended wonderfully with spices and was worth the price. It was served with rice. Staff: courteous.

Oh Gosh. You guys really wanna tell people that there's already a portion of rice with the food I ordered. Man there was a whole lotta food. The mushroom n paneer plain salted were drool worthy. Well, they served us beyond their serving hours , so I thank the team for that. Coming to the food , the pasta was decent , sizzler good , garlic bread and cheese garlic bread - average.. starters were good , the chicken with prawn stuffing tasted nice in particular. Mocktails were fine as well. Ambiance cozy.

Everything about this place is 5 stars. Wanted some good Sizzlers after a really long time and I was bored with all the unnecessary vegetables on the sizzler with less main course. So at this place I ordered a Veg Paprika sizzler which was served with a delicious paprika dip. It a took a little extra minutes to arrive but every spoon was just worth waiting for.

After Pop Tate's culture ,this place is one of the oldest place in Evershine Nagar Malad w. It has its unique taste for its dishes , one of the best Sizzlers I had over here. They are special for Continental cuisines. After renovation the place is bit shrunk as I feel. But over all ambience and staff are pretty good.

Quite possibly one the best places in Mumbai to eat! Amazing amazing food. Their proportions are massive. You can order one dish and it will be easily sufficient for two. Though I assure you it will be quite difficult to order just one dish and be done at this place. You can simply point your finger and any random point on the menu and order whatever or whichever dish your hovering finger rests upon and I give you complete guarantee that it would be an exceptional meal. The staff is very courteous and good at their job. Whenever I am in town, a visit to Sun Moon is the one absolute thing I am sure I will be doing!
Good food, good ambience.. the seating is pretty limited and also sitting outside you will gain a lot of attention from the kids outside asking to spare some food for them.. sometimes it gets really uncomfortable.. so it's better to be seated inside .. but the food is great.. Peri peri chicken sizzler is amazing and also the shezwan sauce are my favorites..
Best place to have some baked cheesy lasagne and also au gratin... Also their sizzler..Veg paprika is just awesome. We also had iced tea for drinks which was a little sweet but taste upto the mark.

White Sauce Penne Pasta with mixed veggies - lightly seasoned and beautiful to taste..it was jus a tad too sweet for my liking..but there’s noting dat a dash of Oregano n chilly flakes can’t fix.
Butter Garlic bread- Noting fancy but wish it would d come along with the Pasta and dint have to order it separately.
Sweet lime Soda- Absolutely refreshing for such hot summer evenings

Simple reasonable place. We had mashed potatoes and pesto pasta , both we're perfect. Their are very few places who serves good mashed potatoes so if you like it, definitely try it here. Place is bit congested so the overall experience gets compromised. Will suggest this place for usual munching days and not on special occasions

This place is at a hub in malad surrounded by many good outlets. We had been here for lunch and they have zomato.gold for food.
We ordered penne alfredo and damn it was the best ones i had till date. The cream was to die for. The veggies were fresh i would visit this place just for this pasta again and again.
Then we ordered cottage cheese en riplene which had tomato based gravy we personally didnt find it great it was just okay.
The food was served quick but they have self service which can cause an issue for sizzlers. The ambience is very good and staff is also good.

Was my mother in law's bday so thought of giving her a surprise for dinner. Thanks to three of us who had Zomato gold we landed here as it is one of the partners. Small n cozy place with a good variety but just a heads up that the menu is a bit confusing as it is not segregated course-wise but region-wise, eg soups are in 2 places conti as well as chinese. So u hv to flip through all pages atleast once to decide what u wanna have. All the food was pretty good, mocktails were verrrry sweet so had to dilute it with a lot of ice otherwise a good place to experiment. And if u hv Zomato gold ull pay peanuts😉. Must try atleast once.

The other day, we happened to go to Sun, Moon and Potatoes since we had heard a lot about the food at this place.
Here's our take on the place :
Chilli Garlic Potatoes : Though it looks like something common, and you might have had a similar dish at other places, but this was one of the best dishes we had here. Nicely fried potatoes with an amazing garlic and chilli taste. This dish should be a must try if you visit this place.
Next, we had the White Sauce Pasta, which was again a delight to the tastebuds with red and yellow pepper, olives and lots of broccoli 😍
We also had Plain Nachos with Cheese, the cheese tasted good. It is a good dish for a starter.
Lastly we ordered the Paprika Sizzler. We did not want to have a sizzler , so we called for it to be a Non Sizzler. .
The dish didn't look pleasing. The gravy was not good, couldn't eat beyond the bite we tasted. We could just have two pieces of garlic bread. We would personally not recommend this dish.

I keep coming back here for more! I can't recollect the name of the Sizzlers but they're so good they are definitely worth trying and the drink was tasty and toothsome. Love the Zomato Gold experience.
Has a variety of dishes to be presented. Really flavourful & mouth bursting delicacies. Tried the poule cordon Bleu & poule ala kieve there & I loved the polu ala Kiev personally.
The amazing taste of the food we ordered took me by surprise. When we entered we found the space to be a little small but I really like cozy places and this one falls under the cozy category. The seats are very comfortable with large cushions behind your back. Now let’s come to the food - I ordered prawns in paprika sauce and when it arrived, I was blown away by the aroma and taste. The prawns were perfectly cooked, the sauce had the best combination of flavours and the quantity was also great. The mashed potato could have been creamier. My friend ordered a spaghetti with corn balls and the spaghetti sauce was delicious too! Overall a great experience and would like to visit again.

I tried Paprika Chicken as per everyone's review in this section but apparently it was very spciy. It did not lack taste but was spicy.
I ordered a Chicken Tetrizina which was wholesome. Like really really wholesome.
The Chinese Dishes are included in the menu. But apart from that you get combination. Where you can make a custom rice along with gravy which is really gold. I ordered like two of those bowls. And the quantity is sufficient for 2 People Each Dish.
And speaking of gold. You need to bring an ID Proof with your Zomato Gold. An image works as well. But I don't find that inconvenient. It's just secure.

Been a regular customer at sun, moon and potatoes for a while. The menu is vast and definitely quirky (do read the descriptions of each dish). Lot of yummy treats on the menu but you should definitely try hongkong soup, chilly garlic mushroom, prawns wrapped chicken, paprika chicken and their pastas! High on taste and quantity, its a totally worth the money. Cosy little place with friendly staff, do visit!

Which is a chicken starter must have. .. For main dish I prefer paprika with garlic bread u can opt for rice as well... Then they have the sizzler... Chicken chicken garlic i guess m not sure. . Nice portion with veggies, fries, rice ...taste yummy ND filling... Last but not the least the apple pie with ice cream...

I loved this place alot, specially the chicken and prawns dish it was splendid. Its one of my fav places in mumbai. Small, reasonable and great vibes, it had become my regular place to go. As i prefer going than ordering at home .
This is one of the few places you get a variety in Mexican food. I loved the enchiladas here, they're always super cheesy. The other dishes as well are always cooked well, like the lasagna and sizzlers.
The place is kinda small and a bit crowded, but it has a cozy ambience.

Right next to Jimis burger in malad. Its a small restaurant whose speciality is italian food. (We dint give italian a try yet though :P) Tried the Sicilian Garlic Chicken.. the quantity was really good and so was the taste. Really spicy.. but i found the chicken quantity in it a bit disappointing. The chicken hong kong rice had too much of veggies in it as well.. but tasted good. The service is pretty quick as well.

This is a small, but pretty restaurant in Evershine Nagar, Malad West, Mumbai. You can choose to sit indoors or outdoors. (We sat indoors.)
The slow service is more than made up for by the good manners and incredible food that was served to my friend and me! We had Chicken Cheese Chowder Soup, Prawns Thermidor and Roast Chicken With Rosemary Sauce Sizzler. (Thanks to Zomato Gold 1+1!)
The soup tasted pretty good (it had chopped broccoli inside, which I'm particularly a fan of, so no complaints at all). We had ordered the sizzler because that was something we noticed under the "Known For" section in the description of this restaurant, but we were a little disappointed with the flavour - the rice at the base had a burnt taste, the meat was tough, and I did not particularly like the flavour of the rosemary sauce (personal opinion). However, we were completely blown away by the amazing dish that was the Prawns Thermidor! If you're into seafood, I would highly recommend trying this out, since I have not had prawns that tasted this good in a gravy so cheesy and thick at the same time. This dish was cooked close to perfection and is definitely something I would like to come back again to try.
The other customers in the restaurant were a little noisy (not a fault of the people running the restaurant), and since the seats are placed pretty close together, it was a little difficult to have a proper conversation. But let that not deter from you visiting this cozy little restaurant - the seafood is pretty good here!
Finally visited this place after staying in Malad for so many years.... This place serves good non vegetarian food.... The sizzlers have a variety of sauce options and variations.... Loved the grilled fish with lemon butter sauce and had roast chicken with rosemary sauce.... It was delicious had with garlic bread....the staff was courteous and helpful.... highly recommended 😊

Its a small place but its like a powerhouse packed in here. I can’t even began to talk about their food that how scrumptious it was. I ordered Chicken wrapped Prawns soaked in barbecue sauce.It was rich in texture moist on the outside crunchy on the inside.I loved the concept so much I actually wanted meet the chef “Raju Guriya” and congratulate him ..well that never happened because it was a busy day. Then I ordered a sizzler Roast Chicken with rosemary sauce this was another heavenly experience. The chicken was little spicy and peppery very well marinated with the rosemary sauce.. the vegetables were crispy and it was presented very well.
The price was very moderate not very expensive ..1000/- for two people roughly

Mexican Potatoes n Devil Wings were really awesome! Potatoes were crispy n nicely spiced but not spicy! Devil Wings were crispy but had the right sauce! Overall starters were worth a five! But the spaghetti n meatballs though were tasty, it was salty in parts n chicken Meatballs cud have been without flour coating! Overall the ambience n service was gr8!
Finally visited this place after staying in Malad for so many years... a really good menu selection especially for sizzlers and customized pasta. This day we decided to keep it standard with some american corn cheese balls; these frankly didnt have all that much cheese... in my head its gotta be that melts in your mouth... so this dish was a soso one for me.. the 2nd dish we went in for was the spaghetti bolognese.. which was tasty in its own version.. but nothing like the classic one which is represented way differently.
To finito the dinner, we ordered some honey fried noodles and ice cream which was nice though for the quantity of noodles, the could have done with one scoop more.
I wouldnt rate this place as average because they have some interesting flavours worth exploring.

So guys I have been to this place recently in Malad West, and i was amazed to see the menu here. Like it's a v basic restaurant wherein you won't expect much but the menu options and food is amazing.
We ordered peach iced tea which is a must if you're looking for some refreshers. Along with the refreshers we had some french fries. Post that we ordered pasta, spaghetti in cream and cheese sauce, you may ask him to add extra veggies as per your taste.

Nice place to chill and have a good meal with friends. Food is mostly Continental and Chinese. Had the paprika prawns and it was good. The sizziler portions are good as well, and can also be shared by 2 people if you're not very hungry. Overall small but nice place.

The price was very moderate not very expensive ..1000/- for two people roughly
They have only two outlets in Mumbai right now but I wish them all the best for the future. I am very grateful to Nicholas Mascarenhas and Rakesh Sharma for Inviting us once again here.. maybe we could post some picture of other food on the menu and a pic with the chef :D

We've always ordered from their branch in Andheri East and are never disappointed. This was a first time we dined in at Sun, Moon and Potatoes. The manager is really friendly and so is the staff. The food was served piping hot and fresh and we really enjoyed the continental as well as the Chinese. I was really surprised with how good the Schezwan Chicken Fried Rice was. It was one of the best I've had in Mumbai in a long time.
I have always loved this place...The food is very good...The staff is courteous.... And surprisingly the veg food also tastes soooo good.....
It's a small place, but they have different varieties of food. A dish of chicken and prawns combined is one of their specialties and is definitely tasty. Also their cheese potatoes dish was yummy. Their food is delicious. We ordered for more dishes as well and everything tasted good. I am an Ice Tea lover and their Ice Tea was also up to the mark.
One of my favourite places on earth... Going here just feels like home... Think about having bruschetta, crepes, herb rice and delictable choices of mashed potatoes...Enjoy and miss me, whenever you visit.

Sun Moon and Potatoes is a great little place to have quick bites, and a nice restaurant for dinner options as well. The area is very small, but the seating is comfortable and the ambience is simple yet good. The food is top-notch. Do try Devil's Wings if you're non vegetarian. It's mind-blowing! The staff is overall satisfactory and the loo is very clean! The prices are a tad expensive, but the taste makes the food worth it!
It's a nice cozy place, and the food is delicious. The Italian dishes are a hard to miss. Do try out the Chicken Lasagne and Chicken Risotto with Mushrooms. The dishes are decently processed and quite staff hospitable. Worth a visit..

Chicken Wrapped Prawns - Moist, juicy & properly cooked, this came with a sweet & tangy sauce
Chilli Orange Chicken Sizzler - a generous portion, this dish has 4 big flat Chicken breast piece served with Rice & par cooked veggies. French fries & the orange sauce on the side make it even more interesting & tasty.
The chicken marinade however can be altered (room for improvement)
Both Peach Lemonade & Litchi Mocktail were good on side.

A nice well lit place, love love love the Van Gogh painted Starry night lamps 😍. We had the sun moon sunrise drink which brought back memories of fanta. We also tried sicilian cottage cheese along with the lasagne Verdi both were yum and pretty close to soul food. Recommended!
Food was amazing and absolutely worth the money.. we tried the sizzlers and they were bang on with the tastes.. service too was very prompt and the staff were friendly
This place has different varieties in starters and main course which are much better in taste and quantity as compared to nearby options.i definitely recommend this place.staff is really good. Sometimes you have to wait for dine in because the place is little small.
