Neo Welcome is one of the oldest place in Ghatkopar west and they are famous for south Indian food. They have wide varieties of dosa and even their missal tastes yummy. My personal favourite over here is Medu vada , because its prepared fast and their sambar is the best in entire Ghatkopar west area. They also have Punjabi dishes like sabjis which we can enjoy with rotis. Their Hyderabadi biryani is too awesome.

So I ordered masala dosa and paneer biryani. The food was good in taste I liked it .Service was also good
Visited for the first time and absolutely sure will be back for trying more on the menu items. About the vada sambar I had...pure coconet chutney not like the gravy types usually get. Sambar had a very authentic taste and medu vada were fresh-crisp. Awesome!

You can’t go wrong with South Indian food here. You must try idli sambar missal pow potato toast and onion Samosa. Places generally crowded but you will still manage to find a place to sit
A very good place to your food cravings with an economic rates to your pockets. A visit again is definitely on the cards. Service and food both are good and quick.
Place is good, they first give you a chilled glass of water. Then your order. Nice restaurant for family. They maintain the hygiene and comfort to the people.
If you ask which is the best Udipi Hotel in Mumbai, there would be quite a few contenders. But let's be specific and ask who serves the best Sambar and Vada Sambar. The winner will be none other than Neo Welcome. I remember my days of working in CST office when I used to travel by train and my breakfast every day would be at this place. The first thing to start with would always be a Vada Sambar and may be a dosa or Onion Uttappam to follow. Being a South Indian I am a bit difficult to be impressed as we are natural fans of our moms when it comes to chutneys and sambars. But this place gets its recipe quite astonishingly right. It's true that the chutney and sambar decides the success of any south joint. And this place has been getting it right for many decades. Totally recommend, totally love this place.
Located near ghatkopar West railway station, one of the oldest South Indian restaurant in Ghatkopar. Must try Idli, dosa, medu vada with tasty sambhar. Sambhar was too good. Famous for South Indian cuisine. Service is fast with supportive staff. Also can try pav bhaji, Tawa pulav. Recommended for south Indian cuisine lovers...

This restaurant has a very great taste of south Indian dishes. Sambhar is just mind-blowing. Must try once. Also, the PAV BHAJI is good in taste. Spices are added very properly which was enhancing the taste of it. U can try Misla also.
Just outside Ghatkopar station .
Tried the misal pav. It was good and spicy.
Will go again to try somethings else as well. Have heard the south indian dishes are good. Sometime soon maybe.
Situated near the ghatkopar west railway station this hotel is one of the ghatkopar classics. Famous for its south indian cusines this hotel is also good for other dishes we first ordered masala dosa and was not disappointed by taste and then the other dish that i liked is paneer biryani this is the one I recommend because i liked it very much the service is also great as the staff is helpful and serves u well and the ambience is also good .
Been there so many times that cant keep a count. Everything here is just upto the mark. Will look like a South indian restaurant by its looks but serves every cuisine from chinese to punjabi. The service is prompt and the quality of food is good.
Recommendation:- Misal Pav, Rava Masala, Pav Bhaji.
The Sambar here is the best you'll have had in any restaurant.
Super tasty South Indian food ... the sambhar is just too good ... one of the oldest in Ghatkopar ... go there for a wonderful South Indian food ... must order their green chutney separately.

On the day of reunion of school...we all friends, visit this excellent restaurant..first of all i would like to thank you the...team neo welcome hotel and staff..they adjust are whole group iin the very heavy rush hour of hotel.. we had some selcted dishes from here...like Rava dosa, Bhaji Pav, Missal Pav, And the best item i ever had that is Dal Khichdi, I never had this kind of Dal khichdi Ever.
Loved the taste & service... staff is also.. supportive..thumbs up will definitely visit again...
This restaurant serves the best of pav bhaji , south Indian dishes .. service is very fast and food is just awesome .. when in Ghatkopar , neo welcome is a must place !!! Vada sambhar and upma sheera ( pineapple flavoured )
Fabulous South Indian taste, with pure food, employees are as old as 35 to 40 years when hotel started, owner of restaurant treats well with employees so they are retaining, value for money, must visit monthly once.
Another one of those old time establishments which have withstood the test of times with their consistency in the areas of taste and service that they provide...after spending an amazing day at chowpati we actually headed back to eat here a massive grp of 15 of us ...and then it was against them...i guess both of us won...the service amazing! The head waiter was so courteous and accomodative...food yummm ! Have both outside and inside seating arrangement... I'd recommend u to chk this out atleast once im sure that they wont disappoint u..
We ordered for the first time and were not disappointed but there was nothing that great as well. The saving grace was the sambar which was not sweet !! The taste otherwise was ok as it can be made a little sour / tangier. Idlis were fresh and soft and the size was great. The green chutney was far better than the white one.
The best item was the samosa. It came laden with dripping oil which killed the look of but once I had a bite I could not stop myself from finishing it completely.
Will try the dosas next may be by visiting the place directly.
Best place for having south Indian food..
The sambhar and chutney are best.. I have never tasted the south Indian food like this..
Also it is popular for its pav bhaji..
Staff is very humble..
Ambiance is okay.
Thy don't have air conditioned rooms... Bt worth for 💰
Went on a Saturday evening
Must try : Paneer paratha
Extra butter charges Rs 10
Comes with chole masala
Apt spicy and extremely delicious
Will try other dishes when I go next
A good and decent place to visit with your family and friends. It is a very old restaurant which serves you really tasty food with pocket friendly prices.
If you visit here, try for pav bhaji and tava pulav served by them, its really yummy.
Ambiance and decor is not that happening but the food and service is pretty good.
Food- 4/5

Neo Welcome is a nice place to grab a quite bite. Located outside Ghatkopar station, this place has been serving delicious South Indian food for over half a century. What's even better is that the food still tastes the same. I visited this place last sunday after a long time and I was quite amazed to find the same amazing quality of food. Idli Sambhar, Masala Dosa, Onion Utthapa, Dahi Vada, etc are my all time favorites here. Service too is very quick.
This place is good...near from station...not so conjusted...and the service is good. I have Mysore masala dosa which was niceeeee and also had avocado shake with was awesome😍 Yesss they have avocado!!! Go and have it
I visit this place very often when i am in ghatkopar, most of the times i order snacks item, all their servings has always been very tasty and it is surely one of the best places in ghatkopar to satisfy your taste buds..
VERY NICE PLACE.FRESH FOOD,DECENT WAITERS,AND CO OPERATIVE MEMBERS.TAVA PULAV IS THE BEST.IDLI IS VERY TASTY. DAHI SEV PURI IS VERY FRESH AND TASTY
Fresh and cruncy Sada Dosa, first thing in the morning. Nice place with attentive waiters and staff. Good place for fresh snacks and breakfast. Located at strategic location outside the railway station.
This place is just outside the ghatkopar station... Just like a normal routine restaurant.. Nothing great to talk about ambience and all.. But food was really nice.. Tried cheese pav bhaji... N it was delicious... Quantity was too good.. Will definitely recommend this restaurant for quick bites..
One of the best South Indian Food in Ghatkopar. Since decades this place is known for its wonderful Sambar, which is simple awesome. The Medu Vada is another star dish followed by their super special Mysore Masala Dosa. This Dosa contains red gravy based mix Vegetables instead of potato based filling. It's little spicy and totally yummy. Coffee is strong and up to the mark. The Punjabi food is good in comparison to the ones served in South Indian restaurants. Chickoo Chocolate milkshake and Lassi along with Missal are decent options. Sadly the ambience is very average and might not appeal to the elite class.
Nothing extraordinary in the varieties they serve. But the taste of the dishes hasn't vanished since years which distinguishes this resto from others. I have been visiting this resto since my childhood and that too only with my grandparents as they like the old authentic taste of food this resto serves. We had potato toast, cutlet, veg cheese pizza, south indian food and toast butter tea to sum up the dinner in a satisfying way.
It was an option and saviour to us on late night reception which we have missed. For an empty stomach food was nice.Ambience was thik-thak for Max 6 ppl ,as we were last customer. For veggi is good to hit once. 😋

Neo Welcome located close to Ghatkopar West railway station is a pure vegetarian restaurant and very famous amongst locals. Visited this place after a friends recommendation. This place is well known for their South Indian delicacies.
Ambience is decent. There are 2 sections. Service is quick and the staff are polite. Ordered Rava Dosa. Rava dosa priced at 65rs was great deal and bang for the buck. It was super crispy and tasted amazing too. Was disappointed with the amount of coconut chutney served with it. Sambhar was mediocre.
Overall a good place for quick South Indian breakfast. Will definately be back to try some more vegetarian delicacies from Neo Welcome. Cheers...!!
Had paneer biryani..very tasty and good quantity...staff was very polite..and serving time was quick..recommended for anyone visiting ghatkopar
Maybe, the best South Indian restaurant in Ghatkopar.
Situated right across the station, it's also became a landmark in that vicinity.
Recommendations
Medu vada
Batata Vada
Rava Masala Dosa
Misal Pav
Puri Bhaaji
They serve the most unique Batata vada. The stuffing of potatoes inside is sweet and tastes really well with their devine sambar and chutney.
Service is good and found no issues with hygiene.
Yesterday went here on diwali dinner with family. Why we went, because there's no waiting line. When food is great place does not matter. Ordered for idli with sambar, Mysore sada dosa, potato bread, misal. Uff! In my dreams also I was slurping sambar. What a sambar. It's sweeter but with flavour bursting in your mouth.
Must go place.
Food :4/5
Service:4/5
Ambience:2/5
Value for money:10/5
Recommendation; must visit if you are near ghatkopar.
Must visit must visit.
This one is a very old and famous restaurant . My dad had been going here since childhood , so you can imagine how old this is !!! Its located right besides jhunjhunwala college ghatkopar west .
Ambience and locatilty - located between college and ghatkopar station , its a very simple outlet , non ac ! Expect all types of crowd as it is just located at a stone throw distance from ghatkopar station .
What we had
Basically we have a fixed menu wherein we order
1- tomato omlet - nice soft omlette served with bread , onions and their special sweet cocnut chutney and sauce . 3 /5
2 - this time i decided to order something different so i went for cheese tawa pulav - and belieKve me it was yummilicious ! 4/5
3 - idli wada sambhar - this one is one of their famous dishes , sambhar has got a sweet taste which tastes really yummy and served with coconut chutney
4 pav bhaji - now this one is the star of the show - yesss probably the only reason i would leave all the restaurants behind and visit here is because of their mouth watering pav bhaji !!!!! Yesss do not miss out on this dish if you go here .
Staff - quick service , busy ! You get your order within minutes .
Very old and just out side the ghatkopar station..

nice place to eat and gr8 for parcel orders . when ever i use to go . i always ordered paneer mahaknwala garlic nan and paneer biryani . love this place .
A very old restaurant. My father used to go there when he was child and still visit's almost every Sunday along with me. The sambhar is really delicious. Punjabi samosa is very different and very good should try it. The briyani and chana masala puri are also very delicious.
Neo Welcome is one of my favorite eating joins right since childhood...I must have eaten here countless number of times!
Very well located right outside Ghatkopar(W) station, this place is busy throughout the day! Visit here any time of the day and you'll always have to look for a table somewhere hidden in a corner or wait for a few minutes. The other beauty of this place is that there quite a few tables and they have a good turnover time - meaning you won't have to wait here for too long before finding a table. They have had the same service staff since forever and they are quite good at what they do! The ambiance is good for the purpose it serves. There is a family area upstairs which is slightly more comfortable than the area downstairs.
Coming to food...almost everything here is excellent! Be it South Indian or North Indian or Chaat or Sandwich/Pizza. Few of my favorite dishes in no particular order are: -
Pav Bhaji
Pav Sandwich
Masala Pav
Tawa Pulao
Mysore Masala Dosa
Rava Sada Dosa
Veg Kofta/Handi/Kolhapuri
Samosa (they're different, and delicious all the same!)
The prices are quite reasonable as well! If you happen to pass by Ghatkopar station do try this place out...I'm sure you'll love it too :-)

Review No 294:
The second part of the 2 old Udipi hotels near Ghatkopar West Station (the other being Bharat Cafe). This place is closer to the Jhunjhunwala College and the second major exit from the Station (though some more modifications have happened in Ghatkopar station of late).
Again, still known for serving up a good fare of Udipi dishes to fill the hungry stomachs of commuters who depart from the station. I've tasted and recommend the standard fare of Dosas, Medu Vadas and of course Idli’s. Do not forget to sip it down with a hot cuppa coffee to make the entire food experience worth it.
Service is prompt and non-nonsense and the prices even in today's time is value for money. Not much has changed in terms of ambience during the last few years.
I would recommend this place purely for their fast Udipi food anytime you are in the vicinity. Ratings on basis the multiple experience:
Food: 3.5/5
Price: 3.5/5
Service: 3.5/5
Ambience: 3/5

Have been visiting this place since years... used to be ( still is) my dine-out place during my college days in Mumbai... the Samosa served here is by far the best Samosa served in any restaurant I've ever had..(not the regular Aloo Samosa of Sion Gurukripa fame) ..
The South Indian Snacks served taste authentic.
Have also been having the North Indian Cuisine especially the Kofta as well as Dal Tadka on a VERY regular basis.
Strongly recommended ONLY for Foodies!!!

Neo welcome is an reasonable Restaurant with good quality of food, near to station & service is good of staff .
Punjabi dishes are tasteful.
Sitting arrangement is also proper
A good restaurant with South Indian food options. Neat & quality food near the railway station.
A very good restaurant for South Indian food, near to Ghatkopar station platform no 1, I've been visiting here since 2015 and the best dishes I like here are Vada Sambhar, Idli chutney, paper masala dosa (need 2-3 person) as it is huge in size, Puri bhaji are my favourites here.
The taste is excellent and exactly the same as it was years ago.
Old is gold...When many restaurants have come up with modernity, old typical restaurants are losing their existence but food at such restaurant is reasonable and tasty.
So was very close to Ghatkopar station and was very hungry.I found this restaurant and was reluctant to go...wahi purana sa restaurant laga but as I had to catch a local train too so just moved into this typical older style restaurant...omg their food is sooooo good ..from south Indian breakfast to Indian meals and everything that you would feel like having can be found here.
No Ac though but its quite reasonable and easy on pocket.
Misal on the next table looked tempting😂😂😂😂 so me too ordered the same and this I can say super tastiest misal pav I tried beyond my expectation.
Pet bhar jayega lekin mann nahi bharega sort of .They do such wonderful work of serving you super fast.wahi purana style of plates and waiter coming with gamcha( small towel) on his shoulder..Thats the olden days charm.
Very close to Ghatkopar West Railway station.

I visit ghatcoper many times for my work. I always having Veg biryani my favorite. First time I ate in my childhood time with my father. That time rate was 28/- and now I think 155/- but reasonable and tasty. Always love to eat there. 😋
I have been going to the welcome hotel since I was in junior kg and now everyone there knows me 😅. One of the dishes at Welcome Hotel is very tasty, 😋nutritious and the method of preparation is very different.❤️ Their service is very nice.🤗 I really like their misal pav. As far as I understand, I have only eaten their misal pav in their hotel so far. The taste is It's so delicious, 🥵 I can't tell that I don't want to go anywhere else. Amazing food and service provided here. Speciality in South Indian dishes also Chinese 😋😋☺☺
