The pasta is simply amazing. I hope they complete the renovation soon. Wouldn't mind visiting this place just for the pasta.

Saltwater cafe is one of the best Cafe in town.
I've visited them a couple of times and it's never disappointed.
I love the fresh breads they serve with butter.
I've tried their mushroom risotto, crepe, a set meal, veg Burger, pasta, warm three mushroom salad, fresh salads and a lot more.
I think they have the best veg Burger in the city. Simple and really flavorful. The curry roasted veggies burger is indeed the bomb.
The crepe was delicious too.

I am here to talk about the steak and the ganache cake.
Nothing less of amazing. Medium Rare steak, amazingly prepared. Pink through the center with a hint of redness, with well browned exterior, a stellar steak throughout, albeit, a buffalo one.
My only gripe is the spice rub. That's kinda unnecessary. Doesn't do much for the steak. Would love a simple garlic, butter and thyme touch to it, since the steak in itself is very well prepared.
The Ganache Cake served with a scoop of ice cream is nothing less than dish of sinful decadence. It pretty much dissipates as soon as put a spoonful in your mouth. It's sweet but not too sweet, just the right amount to compliment the bitter chocolate. The ice cream is simply the proverbial icing on the cake.

Amazing place, great ambience and delicious food. We celebrated new year here and were pleasantly surprised by variety on the menu and tasty food. We loved this place and would recommend anyone who are looking for a pleasant evening.
Visited the place on the night of a dry day which explained why it was deserted. For a minute, thought they were closed but they were more than happy to accommodate us. They did rush is a little as they were approaching closing time but we still had a ball. The assortment of beads and crackers we were offered was amazing. Shoutout for that cracker sprinkled with flax seeds! The food itself was to die for. We started with The Plum Mocktail, which was right parts sweet and bitter. My friend had a veg ravioli dish which was so buttery, it melted in the mouth. I had seared chicken legs with a side of roast potatoes, which was the best thing ever. The portion sizes are great for one person, considering we were famished and couldn't finish the whole thing by ourselves.

Visited this place for Evening with friends. Had a Cafe Mocha, Bianca Chamomile Tea, and Cappuccino all hot beverage are refreshed. Enjoyed the food and service which was delightfully pravided by the staff.

Salt Water Cafe has been in Bandra for some time now, but I haven't visited the Churchgate outlet yet. I was in for a treat. What better way to satisfy my hunger carvings post the Mumbai Marathon, than at this place.
Ambience: Located literally a 2 minute walk away from Churchgate Train station, SWC is bang on the main road and like most restaurants in town is spacious and welcoming. There is both an outdoor sitting area along with an interior area. We choose to sit outside and soak up the Sun rays on a cold Sunday morning in January. The outlet also has a washroom facility.
Food: Since we came for breakfast, we tried the cinnamon french toast with glazed banana. This was both tasty and beautifully plated. A must try for anyone who loves french toast. Sinfully good.
Apart from the yummy sweet french toast, We also tried the 3 egg omlette. There are a number of different varieties to choose from, such as chicken and cheese, protein fix( 3 types of chicken ham and salami).
Each omlette comes with a tomato, hash browns and toast. Thoroughly enjoyable.
The Zomato gold drink offer will also get you 2 plus 2 on coffee as well so take full advantage of this.
Service: Quick service and minimal time waiting for the food.
All in all a great meal, in a nice environment. Definitely will come back. Impeccable standards and well plated tasty food.

Been to this place a couple of time and loved it through out.
Ambience- was cozy with an beautiful yellow lighting and sports screening. They have both outdoor and indoor sittings. On top that, cozy old style jazz music plays in the background.
Food- was phenomenal. The grilled chicken we had was so tender and juicy. The chicken pieces was fatty, delicate and extremely delicious. Fries we had are one of the best regular fries I ever had.
As I don't consume alcohol, I ordered a mocktail 'beat the heat' which was ok. But for people who like their booze they three amazing cocktails from a selected list at just 800/- and various other options in bar menu.
Overall, what a delight .. will visit again and recommend for sure.

I visited this place just for desserts. I had the warm cheesecake and chocolate ganache cake. Both desserts were really good in terms of taste and texture although I felt they were a little overpriced. The ambience of the place and overall service was great!
Salt Water Cafe is one of my favourite places in all of South Bombay! The food is really good, the ambiance is soothing, and the hospitality is great! The location, of course, is often what drives people in, but you stay for the food.
On my most recent visit, I ordered Eggs Benedict with Norwegian Smoked Salmon and I loved it to bits! I generally order this dish at my stays in hotels, but Salt Water Cafe stole my heart with its excellent preparation. In the mains, I would recommend the Grilled Peppercorn Chicken, or anything really, because whatever I have had here has been pretty well made.
I am yet to work my way through the dessert menu, but I will hopefully do that soon.

Close proximity to churchgate station , this place offers nice cozy ambience and courteous staff. The food is simply amazing in taste and presentation. Mushroom risotto , poha crusted prawns and apple pie are some of the must try dishes.
We tried the potato wedges - nicely made, Spanish omlette- flight, big, tasty and filling, fried rice with quoina- healthy, tasty and served in good quantity and the scrambled eggs- a simple dish yet so fluffy and tasty. This place is heaven for egg lovers although they do have vegetarian options- we ordered the veggie burger and were not disappointed.

I've been crossing this place for a while now, always wondering one day I'll go here. Well last night a friend and I ended up here and I'm so delighted we did. We just ordered mains for ourselves. I'll speak for myself, I ordered the Buckwheat Crepe with Roasted Vegetables and Parmesan Fondue Sauce. It was one of the best crepes I've had till date. I could taste every flavour distinctly as I took every bite.
Moreover the subtle ambience of the place adds to the experience of dining here. Will surely recommend this place to everyone. :)
I've always loved the ambience of this place. It has delicious burgers and servers Bira. Nice relaxed place to catch up with friends. Also, the fact that you can walk down to marine drive after nice hearty meal, makes this the perfect place to spend the evening.

Being European cuisine setup the option provided for food are not much. Lasagne was only veg and no non veg option. But it was good. 4 cheese risotto was okay not that great.
I recently developed my love for "John Dory" after I visited this place. I ordered a "Pan Seered John Dory". Being a salmon fan, This was something different and very well prepared and served. Crispy on the surface and juicy from within, They serve it with risoto which perfectly blends with the taste.
I also ordered a plum mocktail which was refreshing altogether after a long day at work.
A bit pricy on its part, but altogether a strongly recommended place to eat!
We called for Penne Alfredo with Veggies along with a classic Grilled Chicken. Both dishes had good portions and the food quality left us happy. The vibe was great with good music and service. Definitely worth a visit for a fun evening/night.

Salt water cafe is place to visit just for its ambience and location.
I tried ordering chicken lasagne but the restaurant serve lasagne in veg only. Hence no option left and considering my love for lasagne, I ordered Baked veg lasagne and chicken open grill sandwich came in for the rescue for my non veg craving. Overall, the food is good but not great. Out of the two chicken open grill sandwich was better tasting but messy (considering it’s an open sandwich).
PS: Order extra serving of the French fries as they are irresistibly good.
We walked in late and the restaurant was shutting down. We told the staff we will only have drinks and they were accommodating. We got our drink order quickly. The freshly squeezed orange juice served with the white rum was superb. Will come back to try the food someday.
One of the best cafes near marine drive is salt water cafe. They are amazing with the food they serve. Must try sausages here. This place has all wooden interiors and is a good place for some good time with company with whom you want to have conversation.

It was my first visit here and I liked the whole experience. It's an apt place for formal and informal dinner. Great service, well mannered staff. We tried chicken leg porcini and lamb stew both were delectable.Hazelnut mousse cake was outstanding. Unlimited sangria and three cocktail offer are value for money.
We visited this place on last Saturday night, place was full at that time, waited for sometime at last we got the table, we had baked vegetable lasagna, Melon feta salad and tiramisu all were exceptionally well. They also serve some really good craft beers, but their three cocktail offer is the winner. Service was impeccable. Worth a visit.

Went here for a couple of sangrias before heading someplace else so this review is just for the sangria. Being a sangria fan, I was delighted to find out that they had 7 8 different types of sangrias as compared to the standard 2 or 3 that most places offer. They did not have thyme so we could not try the pomegranate and thyme sangria. Instead we had the melon sangria which had white wine and the peach plum one with brut. Both were refreshing, well flavoured and quite heady. Would like to visit again to try the rest.

The perfect place for a good breakfast on a Saturday. Not crowded, great service and great food. The chocolate chip waffles worth a try for all waffle lovers. The SWC Benedict eggs again a winner of a dish with beautifully cooked eggs and mushroom ragu.

The only thing I didn’t like is the way manager(I guess he was manager) and waiter was behaving with each other. The manager was arguing with one of the waiter(I guess he was new in cafe) in front of so many customers. Which doesn’t look good at least to me. That was really bad and the worst thing was that after some time that waiter just left and manger was trying to stop him in at cafe main door which was really embarrassing. It made me and my wife feel very uncomfortable to seat in cafe.

So this place near churchgate station is purely for european cuisine... Woody and cozy ... U can either sit out or u can it in AC section... On weekends waiting can be upto 40 mins... The ambience is really beautiful .. I choose to be in AC section ... Where in I order for whisky which I got 2+2 in zomato gold... Accompanied by a chicken penne pasta in white sauce with sun-dried tomato's and olives and Parmesan... And a chicken burger ( don't remember name though ).. u can try risotto as well as ... I loved the pasta .. it comes is enough quantity ...N burger was juicy tooo... But u won't find anything spicy here if u are one of those freaks... It all menu has subtle taste... one disappoint was they don't serve jack Daniels ... But over all food experience was amazing... Visit once for sure...
Everything is just so good here. The food is exceptional. I really like this place. Burger was okay tho. The pasta with jalapeño white sauce and the chicken in balsamic sauce is just SO NICE. the pasta is for 2+ people. Couldn’t finish it between me and my mom.
On my trip to Mumbai in raining Mumbai Monsoon we were roaming around in Gateway .. Marine Drive.. were wet n hungry and suddenly saw this place on d way from Churchgate to Marine Drive .. Must say it's a cozy fine Dine option .. ambience is pretty amazing .. food options were mouth watering .. it's a Wonderful place to visit for good food .. serve from coffe to beer and wines .. serve snacks to main course.. enjoyed football world cup with side snacks and coffee ... Must visit .. awesome place ...
