It's everything about Moshe's cafe that gives this amazing feeling while you're there. I always have my favourite dish there which is Char Grilled Chicken; it is so scrumptious. I have tried their other starters and drinks too. However, this one stands out. Next time when I visit them I will try something new for sure.
I am a regular visitor to CrossWord and to Cafe Moshe which is inside the bookstore. I love their preparations - particularly sandwiches. But I had some bad experiences in which they tried to overcharge me, a few times.
In the latest incidence, on 22 Aug 2018 at about 3.30 pm, my daughter and I had orderd a chicken sandwich and 2 regular Cokes. Instead of charging Rs 100 each for the drinks, they charged Rs. 115 each under the item Diet Coke. The waiter LIED blatantly that both Coke and Diet Coke are of the same price. But when I demanded to check the menu card, he agreed that those two prices were different. This waiter has been working there for years and definitely knew the difference but he LIED which shows that this is a regular practice of Cafe Moshe. The manager cum cashier Rashmi said sorry and gave me the corrected bill. But this has happened even earlier. Same persons, same outlet and overcharging.
They dont have all the items from the menu on their computer system and looks like this fact is used very conveniently. eg. They have listed cold drinks under two heads - Sprite Rs 100 and Diet Coke Rs 115. Which means, except Diet Coke, all other cold drinks (which I assume will be mostly Coke) will go under the heading Sprite. Now if you order Coke and in the bill that you receive, it says Diet Coke, you dont think it is a wrong heading. You simply assume that instead of Coke it is listed as Diet Coke. This strategy is probably to deliberately fool customers and overcharge them. I have a feeling this is their regular practice. So, I have decided to complain at this forum.
Please go through your checks at Cafe Moshe at all outlets as twice they charged me for a mineral water bottle which I had never ordered at their Palladium Mall outlet.
While I have reviewed Moshe’s before, I am penning this specific review for this particular outlet.
Located amongst one of the biggest book shops in the city, the cafe not just has aromas of good food but also books, making the entire experience divine. The Moshe’s quality makes its mark.
On this visit I tired Middle Eastern Shish Touk rice bowl (a new entrant to their menu). It was a wholesome meal with chunky cubes of chicken in a zesty sauce. Loved each bit of it.
I now know where to head to, whenever I am in mood for an intellectual bite!
I've always liked Moshes. The food is fresh and great. My wife also loves this place. She really likes the pastries here. And It's really a nice place to visit with friends.
It is a tiny little place and has few 7 to 8 tables.
We ordered something with grape and sprite to drink which was just okay.
We ordered a veg focaccia sandwich which was perfectly toasted and was really good.
CARROT AND MARZIPAN CAKE
Moshe's located at Kemp's corner is a small boho chic café amidst crossword. It is a very chill place to hang out with friends and family. The café mostly serves pastries and other baked delicacies.
We wanted to try something new so we went for the carrot and marzipan cake. It was not something we would usually root for, but OMG!!! It was #BOMB 💣
The carrot cake had a layer of jam and marzipan on it. It was served hot and was over all a nice blend of all the flavours together. It also had a cute carrot made of marzipan on top of it.
Priced at ₹251/-
It was so good, that we went crazy. Definitely something we recommend everyone to try. It is something different from the mainstream chocolate desserts.
So do give it a try and give us your reviews on it.
Cafe Moshe's have always delivered fresh flavours in all that they serve. Their menu clearly highlights the benchmark of health.
I was really happy with the the Mexican Fajita rice bowl. But I must suggest that this bowl is enough for just one person which then makes me think about the price! Paying ₹430 for a dish at Moshe's is questionable. But rest assured! They (Cafe Moshe's) have left no ingredient untouched which is good for your body
Nice small cafe tucked inside crossword. Good for an afternoon coffee or small snacks.
The recently introduced rice bowls are good. Hummus and sandwhiches are also nice.
Desserts are one of my favourites esp the chocolate gooey cake which is fantastic with icecream.
Love their fresh breads, sandwiches and deserts... they have quite a lot of eggless options! The blueberry cheesecake is a favourite! Warm ambience.. and great service! I was a frequent visitor of the cuffe parade outlet, but its shut down.. so miss that one :(
Food is really good, very unique taste, but literally takes 50-60 minutes just to prepare food. bu quality and taste of the food is really good, worth mentioning.
The most amazing Signature Style Penne with Paprika Cream Sauce with Almond and Sweet Potato Straws and the 2nd Dish was Mushroomish with Stir Fried Mushroom, shallot, pokchoy and lime. Trust me it the best comfort food to have anytime of the day.
All the best Cafe Moshes and hope to try more amazing Signature dishes
I have had the best blueberry cheesecake here! Also if you are a jam lover, you have to try their different fruit jams available.
And the Swiss chalet / cheese fondue is the best here.
Fresh fresh fresh breads and jams!!! Awesome humus!!! Fabulous food overall!! Great warm ambiance!! Our favourite outlet was the one at cuffe parade Colaba! unfortunately we went there 3 months ago only to discover that it had shut down :( it had super great ambiance and was the best moshes so far!! We miss it dearly. :(
Been here a thousand times. Tried almost everything on their menu old and new! My favourite to start off is their dukkha fondue I absolutely love it!!! For my main I always order a risotto that I custom make outside of the menu with grilled chicken instead of lamb.. I also love their paprika pasta.. n their desserts are fabulous my favourites are the cheesecake and the gooey chocolate cake.. their biscotti is my all rounder I always order my cookies from there to have with my coffee/tea at home. My favourite ones are the almond biscotti.. It has been one of my favourite restaurants.

Chicken salad on fire❤️❤️
The only thing i go there to have is chicken salad and pan cakes! Good staff. Goos service.
Good atmosphere. The crossword one is located in a book store.
Never thought crossroads has this hidden place within it.
Its on the first floor.
A small eatery having around 5-6 tables.
I went here specially to satisfy my sweet taste buds .
Talking about food-
We ordered
-Molten Chocolate.
It was incredibly tasty and warm from inside..
And way too chocolaty 😍
The staff here was bit lazy as there were only 3 tables active and we still had to wait for our order to be placed.

This quaint lil cafe should be on everyones wishlist! Try out their Chicken crostini its way too delicious. Even their Cafe Mocha was yummm. So yes Cafe Moshes is your place to go if your in Peddar road.
This outlet is inside Crossword, there aren't any markers or signs outside so could be a little tough to find.
It is a great place for lunch. You should ideally pick up a book from downstairs and dote over it with your meal. I had a rice bowl with smoothie and liked both of them. Keep in mind that you should mention if you'd like the smoothie cold when placing the order. I found the smoothie too sweet but that could be just my palate.
The only annoyance was that music at Crossword. I don't want to get into why was there music at all but they played a universally hated rendition of happy birthday song about 10 times in an hour.
A nice place if you choose to sit and read a book. Customer service is good as well. good salads. A nice place if u wish to chat with a friend or too as well.
Tucked into a cozy corner, inside a bookstore, Cafe Moshe's is my perfect plan for a lazy Saturday afternoon.
Often accompanied by a book, I usually prefer their cold coffee and blueberry cheesecake. However, their iced teas are also good.
Their freshly brewed coffee is a favorite of my Grandmother's.
The menu is nice, with a little bit of everything... although for vegetarians it's sometimes difficult to be able to have what you like because it's generally not available for the day. On the days that they are available, the baked jacket potatoes and bruschettas are a must try!
Was looking for a place to quinch my thirst and apetite.
The place is kind of cute and small. The ambience is decent. However i found that the place lacked in variety. Staff is nice and service is good. Overall a decent experience.
Oh boy, I never anticipated how difficult it would be to find a place in Mumbai that served Chocolate Pancakes! I was craving a Chocolate Pancake since a very very long time. Most places in Mumbai have either Blueberry or Plain ones.
After hunting, I finally found my place to go for Chocolate Chip Pancakes. I rushed to Moshe's to fulfill my cravings.
The Pancakes came with Maple Syrup, and they provided us with Chocolate Syrup, on request. The Pancakes tasted great as they were soft and chocolatey. The Maple Syrup enhanced its taste, and the Chocolate Syrup was the cherry on top. It was largely filling. It would be the perfect dessert that suffices two. I thoroughly enjoyed the meal. The prices are pretty reasonable here.
Half rating gets added extra when you eat in a cafe which is inside the bookshop.
Cafe moshe always has some variety in the food they serve..
Me and my friend had fondue and lasagna..which was overlooking the books downstairs..how the time slips by one just doesn't get..
Try especially the fondue with mushroom and onion..one of the best i have tasted.

What can be better than a good book and a great cafe!! This branch has the most welcoming atmosphere. Walk in to a bookstore and wind up at cafe moshes. Small place and mostly packed. Frequently visited by all ages as books are for all ages. The kokum sharbat in the summers is a real cooler. And the cafe moshe in the winters is delightful. Muhammrah the best ever is served. I particularly like the hot press corn sandwich. For the dessert it's molten chocolate cake which leaves u with wanting some more. Happy mind (with books) and happy soul(with good food) that's what it offers!! Great place.
I like to club my reading hours with interesting things.
It's always a better option to combine reading with some really good slow meals. Cafe Moshe's has an interesting corner inside Crossword, Kemps Corner. The floor takes in the good vibes of the reading store and combines it's beverage scent all over your mind.
I picked my read and i comfortably spent 2 hours with my Mocha Latte. Well blended with chocolate, milk and cinnamon sprinkled, my reading hour went smooth and tasty. If you like cinnamon with coffee, you definitely should try this over coffee.
Later for my hungry stomach, I chose to order something heavy because I had skipped my lunch. Grilled Sandwich with Salsa Verde is not an Indian sandwich. The filling is green with focaccia bread and is served with Tabasco sauce.
To add a little spice to my bites, I mixed the sauce with the salad complimenting my sandwich and my lunch was a whole lot of meal. They chop the bread in four big pieces.
The sandwich is not everyone's pick. But it's worth a try.
I would rate the staff, hygiene and quality of food 4.5/5
brilliant location , inside crosswords , i had my apple pie with vanilla ice cream and it was worth it , im a regular at crosswords and now will be at moshe's too
A cute cafe within a gigantic bookstore(crossword)..can't get dreamier than this!Spent my time with my book and a hot cup of mocha..Suddenly, being stuck in the rain turned into a blessing in disguise.
Oh,the food menu looked interesting.Might go back and try a pizza or two.
Cafe Moshe's at The crossword book store is heaven on earth for me loll
I'm an avid reader so this place is just perfect for me . What more can be gorgeous than a " book with coffee "
Love this place. Wish they were open till little late.
Love this place- amazing food, cosy ambience and has the best dishes of the Moshes chain! Do have their bagels and expresso coffee- definitely perfect to be enjoyed with a drink.
This outlet and the manager Tushar deserve a round of applause..
It was my wife's b day and wanted to surprise her with Blue Berry Pan cake , her favourite break fast delicacy, it was a parcel order ..
I checked with over 3 moshes outlets they all said it's out of stock ..
I wanted it eagerly as my wife is very found of it .
Tushar told me he would try his best and get back to me.. I received a call within hours and it was arranged .
The outlet opens at 11 a.m.. he obliged me by giving me the pan cake much earlier..
The pan caked was very nicely made.
Batter was very fresh and tasty.
Thank you Tushar for making the blue berry Pancake possible. !!!
We appreciate your kind gesture and efficient service.
Maybe they didn't get a bigger place to set up their outlet? Or maybe the rates are too high! This one is like half a cheese slice squeezed between bread ... Moshe's squeezed in one corner of books!
But nevertheless the food is good. Service is a bit slow though.
The Juhu outlet is any day better!
Surprised to see this in one of the corners of Crossroads .
Could have asked for a rather bigger place .
Service a bit slow .
Coffee did take a while , can out of some items , but i could get my Gooey Chocolate warm enough to enjoy it with the ice cream .
Menu coming from the centralised kitchen is always good , but its how you prepare it that matters .
Just relax over a book but these days have seen People relaxing over their phones ....
If at Crossroads do visit Moshe's , Grab a sandwich , coffee , dessert , salad or some pasta ..
Enjoy !!
Café Moshe's at Kemps Corner is a rather small little joint with big, bold, out of this world flavours. The pasta here comes bubbling hot out of its oven and straight to the table with amazing sauces and even though I forgot to add chicken it turned out to be mouth watering at every bite. The sandwiches here are to die for and for a person who hates salads, even the salads here are made with such flare its difficult to order just 1 off the menu. Its an absolute must try restaurant.
Anu's must try tip- Salsa Verde sandwich and your choice of various pastas (during pasta special month) cause all are too good.
Probably the best Moshe's after the Cuffe Parade one. Never found reasons to complain. Moderately priced even though it is in Kemp's Corner. The staff is courteous and does take timeout to give you some nice recommendations based on your preferences.
Firstly, Being a Vegan i could only write a review for the vegetarian food though from my meat loving pals i learned that the N-Veg food is equally awesome..Just to let you know, All the Moshe’s restaurant serves different Menu. Anyhow for some of their common dishes they are so perfect in the recipe and preparation that the taste all over india is ditto.
This is one frequently visited place for me, being the nearest bookstore to my house. Further i peculiarly prefer this location due to the crowd(Peace loving..credit to the book store!!)
This place serves flawless delicacies. There is no challenge to their Taste and Quality of Food which remains unaltered time and again.
Just binge into the soup of the day whatever it is and i can vouch for the yum. Broccoli-Almond and Tomato-Cauliflower soup works for me.
Roasted Pumpkin with Walnut Salad is a must try. Try avoiding the sides[Toasties,Crostini’s and G-Bread] and spread which is the only thing not so exciting.
They serve a variety of lip smacking Hummus which is another delicacy which rocks most of their restaurants. Among the sandwiches The Grilled Aubergine, Broccoli Tapenade and the Grilled Veggies in Coriander Pesto are the star products. Among the pastries somehow the cheesecake in this particular location sets me back, but the grey chocolate scores a 5/5. Among the coolers, Lemon Grass Cooler and Kookai will make your visit worth..
For the Service, The food might take time to come, guess the tiny kitchen is to be blamed but if you into reading and have no hurry....this place is a paradise
One of my all time favorite Moshes cafe. Food is good every time, as is the service. It's a small cozy place overlooking the book shop. Can get crowded sometimes. Love the chicken honey mustard sandwich here. Only wish they served the cafe sua da that they do in Moshes restaurants elsewhere!
A great place to visit if your a reader and wanna have a hot cup of coffee. The only problem if your going in the late evening probably what you wanna have will already be out of stock
FOOD: better than best there is blueberry pancakes. they are just delicious! blueberry addition give it the extra zing!
their pasta used to be really good with this amazing flavor in their cheese but off late it has lost the flavor. the veg burgers are tasteless. hummus is not bad.
chicken salad is good and filling and u don't miss much dressing even their olive oil and minimal dressing is satisfactory.
they have this oats and banana smoothies which is more suitable for breakfast as its too thick and heavy.
AMBIENCE: its location is the best factor which makes u go back again and again. located within crossword. the place is abuzz with chitterchatter and interesting people. u can even take books from crosswrod up into the restaurant and read and while ur time away . service is alright. they give u time and space but sometimes a bit too much that you have to force them to come and give the cheque.
FINAL THOUGHTS: food is good , though not mindblowing and slightly veers towards bland side. but a good place to cacoon in , to while your time away , good energy and some healthy fare. best for breakfast and lunch.
Was here a couple of weeks back.. Plus points?
1. Valet parking
2. French press ( I wasn't expecting the coffee to have this amazing smoky flavour.. Will go back to check if its always the case)
3. Honey mustard chicken sandwich - simple and juicy.
Love at first sight ....... How I have enjoyed my ask my taste buds ........ Had the salad and believe me skills I haven't tasted a more brilliant salad than theirs . Though the service was a little cramped up but the food tickled my taste buds I'm surprised how hadn't I had the salads here before this is definitely featuring in afternoon dc next month
Located inside my favourite crosswords this small cafe has everything... Ambience, polite waiters, amazing sandwich & juicy fresh salads. It's a little congested but its decent. Truly the sandwiches are delicious and its perfect place to hangout with friends n chill
Excellent location, it has great ambience and the salads and breads are to die for, not to forget the mouth watering pastries. One of the best Cafés I've ever been to.
After coming here after ages, this place gives me peace (not so much) and has pretty good food.
they have recently started serving fondue like its fancy churchgate branch.
Next time, il try.
Penne Arrabiate was nice and yummy.
and a latte to go with it, which was average.
the rating is high because of my personal love for this place..
its kind of a cool place to chill if eateries amongst bookstores is your type.
also, please carry cash, their card machine sometimes doesnt work
ate couple of times last month...very high on value for money. The salads are yum, and so are the sandwiches. Service is a tab bit slow but manageable. Nice plate to sit alone also and read a book
Nice place for a coffee and some lite snacks, being inside crosswords it is not visible from road, their apple cinnamon jam is yum
Nothing to rave about, I like that the menu has been modified to fit the bookshop and just hasn't been lifted from the other moshes. Probably one of the few bookstores left that have a coffee shop in them. Usually crowded difficult to get a place to sit but then one could always grab a drink and move to one of the comfier crossword sofas.
Had a lovely lunch here! It was my first day in mumbai so I did not want to be too adventurous! If your western you'll feel comfortable here!
I am enchanted by the concept of a café in a bookshop and being a fan of Moshe Shek's brand of food / cooking, this quaintly located café within the buzzing Kemps corner Crosswords is a personal favourite. The ability to pick up some interesting books and then browse through them while nibbling at some food and sipping a warm (or cold !) drink feels luxurious, especially since Crosswords has done away with the lovely spacious arm chairs that dotted the place earlier.
This place is a nightmare on weekends though as far as table availability is concerned and there is a queue to get in here, possible the explanation for why the waiters have so much attitude here ?
While the menu is ever-changing and innovative things keep popping up (waiting to try the hummus bowl), watch out for the off-the-menu daily specials. Have had some lovely (and unusual) soups here - the best place to have a light soup and salad lunch (and then give in to temptation and indulge in the desserts). The husbands favourite chicken salad in Balsamic dressing has vanished from the menu though - the price to be paid for constant innovation. The cheese toasties are iconic, especially the Emmenthal toastie. The baked potato is good for those trying to avoid pasta and bread but not exactly a light meal. The pasta is more directed to the kiddies and they seem to love it - lovely flavouring in the pesto one. The innovation extends to the drinks as well - Kookai, Limeade et al.
The best place to stock up on breads and carry away desserts - they have lovely Focaccia, a zero-fat bread, whole wheat lavaches and pitas, though the Balladi bread which you can use to stuff hummus and meatballs into is only available at the Colaba branch now.
Desserts can make up a whole different review - the sheer range that's available ! The carrot marzipan cake is unmissable for the people who don't like chocolate (apparently there are some such people in the world !) as well as the baked cheesecake. Its a perfect orgy for the chocolate lovers - go ahead and work your way through the menu. Remember to pick up the perfectly sinful millionaire's slice - the chocolate caramel slice I think its called here, on your way out. They also do a decent though pricey Baklava. An experience this place, that has to be felt over many visits !
Located in the mezzanine level of crossword book store, Cafe Moshe has a lot going for it and has a distinct canteen like feel to it.
The choices are limited in this outlet. Personal favorite is the penne pasta in pink sauce which is not listed in the menu. It comes nicely baked and is a pleasure to dig into for a light lunch.
The ice tea is not good and is best avoided.
The burgers are ordinary , hummus is decent .
It is an awesome place to eat but not for proper meals. Excellent for quick bites or sandwiches bagels or salads. Is advisable to carry a book or laptop along
This is a quite place near Crossword. We seated upstairs, and ordered Cafe Latte and Mocha with Chocolate mudpie (pics attached)
Their ambiance is pretty likeable, but their place is a little short in space. With 6-7 people upstairs, they will be full. Their staff is quite attentive and ready to serve.
They have good options for quick bites, especially salads. Their menu is quite extensive. Anyways coming to our order, Both the coffees were pretty good. Served with biscuits, I especially like the mugs in which they were served.
Coming to the mudpie, din't actually like the way it was served, and also the taste was pretty ordinary. Nothing great.
Mocha is something you should try. Good place to chill out before having dinner.

I want to be here again! I really love this place! I hope I get a chance again at Cafe Moshe's! :D love this place!
I can't believe this place is still going - i was here years ago and after reading the other reviews I see it's still got it's charm. Inside a big book store, you can go upstairs and enjoy a cup of coffee, a cold drink and a bite to eat. I used to love coming here after a walk around the book shop - settle down and enjoy cheesecake or a good sandwich. I miss this place.
Intimate little place this one - perfect for an evening after trawling through books.
The bagel with Philadelphia cheese and the bagel chips and cheese dip are real good to munch on. The french toast served with maple and honey is warm and fluffy. Their salads are fresh, this ain't really a mains place.
The chocolate mud cake and carrot cake is yummy !
Being a frequent visitor at the Crossword book store, Kemps Corner, this branch of Cafe Moshe's is the one I happen to visit most often whether it is for an evening cup of Earl Grey or to have their signature and my favorite blueberry cheese cake. Being the only coffee shop in the area however the joint is frequented by more than just book lovers and you'd find the place crowded especially around the evenings. Also there's something about a cafe in a book store which is very pleasing.
While my visits here are usually an extension of the visits to the book store on a few occasions I have dropped in with a couple of friends to catch up. On my recent visit on a late evening, I decided to try out their sandwiches, being hungrier than usual. I ordered the corn, potato and spinach sandwich in grilled foccacia. It was as delicious as it sounds and I'd recommend it. Although the potato filling made it quite heavy and needless to say, dinner was compromised.
They do have a good variety of sandwiches.
Of course, if you're not sure desserts are always a safe option. And you would't regret it. The blueberry cheesecake is delicious and my favorite.
Service: 4/5
Ambiance: 4/5
Food: 4/5
VFM: 3/5
This is a quaint cafe (can't call it a restaurant more than anything else, for it size) in the mezzanine of a well known bookstore and thus a great place to eat and read. The bookstore does allow for customers to carry books in and read them while at the cafe and that in a way turns out to be a dampener as you will find it difficult to get a seat. As the cafe is a tiny one and that too made in the mezzanine floor, it can get a bit cramped and dining won't be very private.
This is one of the first Moshe's restaurants that we discovered at Mumbai and have been there many times. The service can be better with the waiters being slow and not alert like happens at most other Moshe's. I don't know whether it is inbuilt in Moshe service or the waiters think it is a necessity to be slow and less responsive at Moshe's.
The food is varied and good and enough for a light meal. The founder claims the food is natural, fresh and simple and we should'nt go by it as not all of it is applicable to the food. The drinks for example are being made by use of Tetra pak juices so I don't understand how such food could be considered natural and fresh. Quibbles apart, eating out at Moshe's while shopping for books is a pleasurable experience. The lavash bread with hummus is a good starter and the use of black and white sesame on the lavash give the bread an attractive appearance. The crostinis (open sandwiches) are also well made and come with many topping options. The oven baked jacket potato either with cheese or beans is a good meal by itself. The pasta is also good. Their tropical fruit smoothie is an innovation but I dislike the fact that they don't use fresh fruit to make this drink.
The cafe also sports a counter where they sell their packed baked goods. Most of their food is over priced as they seem to believe that creating an ambience and aura about themselves make them deserve to charge a premium.
All in all, for Mumbaikars Moshe's is a place to head for Mediterranean food and so far they don't have good competition. If they could be quicker in serving guests and make their menu less over priced, they could definitely have better patronage and get more popular in Mumbai, where they have now spread into the suburbs too.
Nothing pleases than a good book coupled with a warm cup of coffee. And of course, some yum filled sandwiches and drooling desserts to make the book reading or meeting friends experience to make it more memorable.
Coming to this place for years -pulled equally by the collection of books downstairs and a cozy cafe upstairs. Always a place to come back to and relax with a book, for hours on go.
Loved the interiors, ambiance and the amazing food!
The humus the was amazing and L'Orange cake we ordered in our office was beyond heaven! A tad expensive though... but worth one's money...
Built on the mezzanine floor of the crosswords book shop, this place is great because it serves great coffees and snacks. The best thing about it, is that it allows you to bring books from crosswords and read them whilst you sip your coffee (you want to avoid that if you are clumsy) It is quieter in the afternoons and early evenings but by around 5:30ish it gets very crowded and noisy. Getting a table at this time is almost impossible and reading is out of the question.
Great things to try here are
The mocha(love the cute cookies that come with it)
The mushroom open sandwich.
The different types of hummus and lavache
Although It is a little expensive for a cafe, it is a great way to spend time by yourself!
My husband and me LOVE this place. More often than not, we have have a standard order whenever we visit this cafe - We order a Pepper Gouda Toastie or the Mushroom crostini, a Kebab sandwich with Harissa Dressing and the Penne Bake Dish with Red and White Sauce. All their desserts are to die for. Be it the L'orange or the Philadelphi Baked Cheese Cake or their Molten Chocolate - or practically anything from their Dessert Counter.
It is a tiny little place and has few 7 to 8 tables.
We ordered something with grape and sprite to drink which was just okay.
We ordered a veg focaccia sandwich which was perfectly toasted and was really good.
Good place if you want to have a light lunch. Must try their sandwiches and lasagne.
Ambience is Superb. It's on the first floor of the Crossword Bookshop. If you're reading and want to take a break to be rejuvenated, this Place is Great. The Waiters service isn't up to the mark but certainly can be improved. Food, Snacks and Beverages are Quality. Pricing is mid reasonable. Beverages start from Rs. 100/- while Snacks and Food start from Rs. 250/- onwards. Typically about Rs. 1000/- for Two People.
Great place to sit back and enjoy a book with a cup of coffee. Their hummus is one of the best and ask their desserts are delectable.
They run a good show
good sadnwiches, good coffee, superb pastries, poor service since it is understaffed and maybe over worked and you have to wait hours for the waiter to arrive and another hour for the food
You win some, you lose some - the quality of the food is very very good but you will most likely die waiting for it to arrive
Great ambience, nice food, quick service. Situated just above the Crossword's bookstore... so q nice break after a good read. Cosy and calm.
Good food, reasonably priced. Must try hot chocolate. The service is a bit slow but A+ for ambience
Best place for a coffee shop.. Get a book and enjoy a good cup of coffee with some amazing muffins or brownies..
Great place for a quick bite. Grab a book and sip a coffee and more...
Nice ambience, age old eatery in Bombay
Breads are fresh. Good food.
