The restaurant is situated at a central location. Their staff are helpful and friendly. Coming to the food, the prices do meet the wholesome quantity of food and taste wise it was delicious and the cooks took care of our spice tolerance. Although, they brought an incorrect dish for our main course but we complained about it and they had changed it immediately. The service was a bit slow as it took adequate amount of time for the food to reach our table.
Loved this place. We had Guangzhou Chicken (Chef's Special) with Bejing Noddles. The taste was good, at first we were nervous that the Guangzhou Chicken will be spicy but no it was just perfect and complimented well with the Noodles. I personally suggest to try their Burnt Garlic Pot Rice/Noodles. The Ambience is old good nothing fancy, just a calm place to have good food.
Food is good Here ! Service is also. Food on time. Only the weird thing I felt is when staff startes you while eating or they may judging you🫠 rest everything was good. Loved the food here ❤️
I am just huge fan of this place my fav are garlic pot noodles and Kung pao paneer just so good
Pros :-
Great Ambiance
Great staff
Cons :-
A tad bit expensive but that's ti be expected of a resturant in Powai
The food didn't taste very good. I heard they use olive oil. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone but if you like olive oil, then go ahead and come to the restaurant. You will love it
This a beautiful Bar cum Restaurant.Food is good. We have choosen sea food option.bt i don't like it. Veg option is better. We haven't ordered checken/ mutton. So don't know about the taste.

It’s authentic Chinese food ! The taste is nice , ambiance is okay . The triple sezwan has good quantity . Also one should order Paneer chilly instead of other paneer starters . They also have bar so it’s good for the ones who drink alcohol. Lol , I liked the LED lights in the washroom😅!
This review is long overdue, by about 20 years if not more! That's how long the family and I have been patrons of both the Prabhadevi and Powai outlets.
Want a snack - order the honey chilli potatoes or steamed momos.
Have a sore throat? Sip on the lemon coriander soup.
Not too hungry? Get the garlic pot noodles.
Don't know what to order? Go to the default Sapo Chicken and Fortune Rice.
We pretty much remember the menu by heart, coz we order in a lot frequently than we would like to admit.
So what's great about China Valley?
China Valley's USP is the 'Desi Chinese' we all love. The portions are generous and the food hits that sweet spot - partly on the palate, partly on the nostalgia.
It's not without various shortcomings.
Does China Valley have the best food - No, great service - debatable, upscale/modern ambience - not at all. But, it does have consistency.
Amongst all the fancy and gimmicky shenanigans of new age restaurants, China Valley has carved a niche for itself.
China valley is a nice family restaurant cum bar, ambience is good, service is prompt. I ordered Pork Ribs roasted in lal mirch sauce, and hot pot chicken noodles and LIIT cocktail. The pork ribs tasted heavenly, anyone who loves pork should give it a dry. But, hotpot chicken noodles was kinda bland in taste, portion is good but the taste felt so bland that we had to share. Cocktail was okayish could be better. Good for a Friday night dinner with some liquor.
Also, they have a bar named Knotty yard just beside this place, which is good bit pricey. But, on Friday and Saturday stag entries are not allowed, got to know that hard way.
I had an amazing dining experience at China Valley Restaurant in Mumbai! The ambiance was charming, the staff was attentive and friendly, and the food was absolutely delightful. From the perfectly cooked dumplings to the flavorful stir-fries, every dish was a culinary masterpiece. The menu offered a wide variety of authentic Chinese dishes that catered to both adventurous and traditional palates. I highly recommend China Valley for anyone looking to indulge in a memorable dining adventure that combines excellent service with mouthwatering flavors. Can't wait to visit again!
We have enjoyed our dinner. Service in any respect was attentive and warmhearted. This is a hotel of good standards. Food was outstanding. Best place for Chinese lovers. Liquor is available. Rates are bit high. Have good parking place. Card payments are accepted. I highly recommend this restaurant.
This is the best Chinese restaurant in Powai locality. I have been visiting this place for more than 10 years now.
Always ask the waiter for recommendations, there are quite a few 'special' dishes which are not listed on the menu.
Interiors look dated now.
Perfect Chinese food , Good place for family and friend. It is having parking space so no worries about the parking. The food served was presentable and taste at its best. The service is good and the restaurant ambient is very pleasing. Overall it's a good place to dine in👍👍😊
Good food, nice ambience, friendly staff.
Would have been better if Bar and dining were separated.
Families feel awkward with boys & men drinking beside you.
Forever my favourite.. the chilli garlic pot noodles is my fav. Infused with butter and garlic flavour. Muu fan rice is worth trying. Golden fried prawns, chilli mushroom with tofu (extra added), pattaya chicken, aromatic honey smoke chicken and mei foo are worth trying dishes. must have. Must visit restaurant
I feel after any meal, if one does not feel heavy or uncomfy, it deserves full marks.
China Valley is one such restaurant.....
Been coming here over 15 yrs, and they have been consistent in terms of good food, easy ambience and happy service.
Bonus.. Not too pricy!!!
Love everything here... From Dimsums, Pot Rice to Noodles, but special mention for their Butter Garlic Prawns, Seafood Soup and Bacon Wraped Prawns. Simply Awesome 👌👌👌
China Valley in Powai, a cherished spot for over a decade, continues to feel like home. From our early visits as a couple to now enjoying it with the kids, the place has maintained its exceptional taste and welcoming ambiance. A standout is their Garlic Pot Noodles—a must-have that adds to the unique charm of this Chinese haven. Whenever in Mumbai, don't miss the opportunity to savor not just delicious Chinese food but the distinctive flavors that set China Valley apart from others. A true gem for any Chinese food enthusiast.
