Lovely place; loved food.. tried misal, pav bhaji, local dish, masala rice, custard, modak and couple of other dishes. Everything was fantastic. Loved misal pav
It's a good restaurant to visit ❤️❤️
Loved the place
Loved the ambiance ❤️
Best maharastrian restaurant in town. My friend came from US after a long time and he missed his native food so much that he's only eating maharastrian food while he's here. So Amey was my first last choice for him. You will find every dish here which Marathi culture has to offer you. And not only the food is great but also it has decent atmosphere to spend good time.
A typical family restaurant famous for its signature Maharashtrian dishes. Located close to BKC & hence usually crowded during afternoon lunch hours. We had ordered Farali Misal & Upvaas Thalipith for a friend who had fast. For rest of people we ordered-
1. Mutter Paneer
2. Paneer Tikka Masala (was much spicer than expected)
3. Jeera Rice
Food was tasty & fasting dishes very crisp n nice as per my friend. The hotel deserves full marks for their cleanliness and hygiene.
Amazing place for Indian food. Have tried a lot of things here, their dal tadka, veg Kolhapuri, Modak etc are really good and reminds of ghar ka khana. Quantity is good. Very tasty. I order food and visit the place very regularly. Overall 5 start!
Fabulous place located opp MIG Cricket Club. Humble people and delicious maharashtrian/Punjabi food with total justice to your pocket and hunger. I am not usually up for sweets but after eating their piping hot modak (with ghee) I couldn’t resist and ended up buying 12 of them for home. Misal Pav,kothimbir vadi are my favourites. Also I would recommend their butter garlic nan and with any maharashtrian/punjabi vegetable. Good vibes and a perfect place for a family outing. I recommend Amey if you are in Bandra East or BKC and up for veg food.
Nice place to eat maharashtrian food, they have other menu also but love to eat Maharashtrian type food. They have out side seating which is very crowded.
Located near MIG cricket club, it is a nice restaurant for family dinners to healthy snacks..
Been many times and I must say they don't compromise on food quality though it's little expensive due to the posh locality.
Talking about taste, it's good and you'll not be disappointed..
Recently they went through renovation which is good to see.
Must try: pav bhaji, pulav
Amey restaurant located at bandra east, ahead of MIG CLUB,
Near from bandra station walking 15 min and buy auto 10 rupees sharing 5to 6 min Max
There ambitious is so cool and fresh there light iffects attracts that seen we feel like that place is utilise for youngsters and parent and old people's feel they are not interning on hotel for a food only there are interning in there young past generation and enjoyed that cool seen as they want
There seating arrangement is so comfortable the seats design were good and dinn wear square shape and they creates by wood its feel so good to seat there and there are many tables so we don't want to wait for a minute to seat
Now telling about staff they all are marathi member so hard worker's and quick server's they very respective server they always keep smile ahead us they keep there stress side from their work
The famous and delicious food is ukdi che modak and kothimbir wadi and this famous type and all the foods are rated so affordable.
I recommends all to come there I experienced fab I think you guys should go and have there brilliant experience and food, place , and fab things.
If u are in Bandra and having a tough time finding a restaurant serving asal Maharashtrian food then do visit Amey once. It was after a hangover after our exams when we returning home we decided to have some breakfast on the way and frankly speaking u won't find breakfast places in Bandra and that's where this place comes to rescue.
Now let's rate this place on a scale of 🔟

Amey is a veg restaurant situated in Kalanagar Bandra near MIG club. Recently renovated.
Serves very good quality of vegetarian food. Large number of variety is available.
One of the favourite restaurant for Vegetarian ppl . Popular Specially for Marathi food items 🤤😋
😋One must try Pav Bhaji and zunaka bhakari and vangyache bhareet.
To end the meal, try special desert kharavas and ukadiche modak.

A good reasonable place for lunch. Famous for Maharashtrian dishes, we ordered for misal pav, dal khichdi and kothimbir wadi, of which everyone was tasty. It's located at BKC.
Visited this place long back when my office colleagues wanted to try out some authentic Maharastrian food. And we werent disappointed. Misal pav with masala tak and the thalipeeth are some really good options
Quick service , Good variety , reccomended for good maharashtrian food .
Specially recipes less known .
Authentic experience slightly overpriced.
Yummy yummy food.. Typical home made tastes with quick service. Humble staff. Tiny place. Must for Indian breakfast.. We could not get enough of it!
they serve some amazing breakfast like poha up a misal sabudana khichadi and sabudana vada are my favorites. they don't open to take orders over the phone at least until 830
I order regularly Medu wada,Rawa Masala Dosa from this place...Pav Bhaji also a must try..Quality is very good and the taste is simply Wow...
One of my favourite maharashtrian restaurants in bandra east. Always visit it when in the area. They have nice misal. Also serve south Indian n Chinese as today's need.
A very good place to hangout with friends and family. Aloo paratha are just yummy served with raita and Chinese is also best in quantity. Pav bhaji is yum. Service is robust
Ameya hotel Bandar East review
We are pure non- vegetarian but Ameya hotel in Bandra east is an exception. The place is known for authentic Maharashtrian breakfast.
We tried kharvas, Amras, Misal pav, Vada, kothimbir vadi, Ukadiche modak (Must try)
And they all taste great.
Their service was really good.
Prices are lil high as compared to other hotels in the vicinity.

Not much fan of eating veg food in the restaurant. But this restaurant is an exception.
Few must try dishes
Kothimbir Vadi
Tandlachi Bhakari aani Ppithale (Jhunka)
Ukadiche Modak (One which is rare to find with this quality and taste)
Only one veg restaurant attracts me to eat/order anything other than Dalkhichadi. :p
Ambience is fine bt the food is good and service also. A good affordable hotel are the best suitable words for amey. They serve Maharashtrian food like bhakari, besan, modak and puran poli as well if sometimes u have a craving for it.
We were there for traditional Maharastrian fare/ breakfast and were thrilled with the tasty food, great service and the hospitality of the person who runs the place. He explained what the dishes were on the menu and also served complimentary modaks! A must try place 😋
The place is known for the Maharashtrian delicacies. The food was very nice. I tried the Aamras, Kharvas, Misal Pav n Poori Bhayani.
The Place is very minimalist but clean. Service was ok nothing to complain about.
Will definitely visit to try other maharashtrian delecacies.

Good place around my office for snacks like to have Vadas over here they typical Maharashtrian food they serve misal pav is good they serve nice breakfast items like Poha and stuff also
A place for simple good tasty n reasonable veg food.. dal khichdi is usually one of my favorites.. good place to order in for deliveries across bkc.. good place for maharashtrian veg food items.
The food is good in taste. Its has the spice required for one to enjoy the meal. The ambience is clam and the service is quick. Difference between the other restaurants and amey is the various dishes of marathi culture provided which makes everyone aware about the marathi taste.
Visited the place for the first time and really good service and people....had a great time here....food is good...good atmosphere...I loved it
Wanted to try some nice authentic maharastrian breakfast. Again a very famous joint in bandra and authentic cuisine they give. Very prompt very delicious
I ordered for ussal pav, batata bonda and upma.
OmggI 6!!!!!! So delicious...especially the batata vada...I ordered 3 plates of it and ate it all alone
Do perfectly cooked..not that oily..nice and crispy.
The poa was delight fully light and yummy too.
Please do visit this place.
Oh and they serve thecha with their dishes..and believe me...it's the authentic thecha which I was dying for to eat in mumbai since I got here.
Very yummy...
Ameya offers a host of Maharashtrian delicacies. Some of their dishes are not so tasty as you find them at home ( especially maharashtrian homes) .
Always love to have their dal khichadi because it is the best. Tried their punjabi fare and it is quite average. Don't order from here after 10 pm as the quality of food is quite comprised compared to the food ordered early.
The other thing about this place is it's slightly pricey for the quality/quantity/service and taste they offer fro example dal khichadi is 160 rs while many places across mumbai charge not over 150 for this particular item
Unfortunately no pictures as I write the review, will certainly put them up later
Excellent joint for traditional Maharashtrian food. The kharwas and the custard are the must try items here.
The mouth watering kothimbir wadi served with the delicious chutney is just yum.
One of the best restaurant if you are looking for authentic maharashtrian fare. What makes this place special is the fact that it serves food that is pretty close to 'home cooked' food.
The pricing however is a big disappointment and that's why the slightly lower ratings.
Overall, its bang opposite the famed MIG Club and a must visit for all food lovers.
Good place for authentic maharashtrian food. Masala Bhat, Thalipit, Bhakri, pitla and Misal Pav are out of the world. Tasty and good till last bite. This place also serves good shrikhand, puran poli, modak and kharvas etc as far as typical maharashtrian dessert is concerned. The other rice items such as pulao , dal-khichdi and tawa pulao etc are also quite good. The main course vegetables such as Veg Kolhapuri, Paneer Kadai etc are also nice. All in all this eatery is a decent one considering the area of Bandra East in the heart of Mumbai.
Nice place to try Marathi cuisine. It is little expensive. the service was quick. We ordered veg pulav, veg kolhapuri, some paneer dish, thalipith and masalebhat. Veg pulav was oily and taste was ok. Other dishes were tasty. A must try place to taste marathi cuisine.
Being a bandra boy and ghar par no khana Amey is there to save the day
I have been ordering food from a really long time and they do serve great food be it indian (punjabi) to a wide range of South Indian dishes
Misal pav @ amey is what you should be thinking of.
Amazing spicy misal pav. Must try!!!
Have ordered many dishes from here, but misal pav is really very delicious and exactly how a misal should be! Quantity can improve!
Great food. We ordered Chinese food. And trust me it was great. We ordered Schezwan Noodles, Fried Rice and Manchurian. Manchurian balls could have been better, the rest was good. A work lunch made good. Looking forward to visiting this place.
Home Delivery Through Zomato.
Almost perfect an experience.
Option to order jain available in the app itself. That's like ziggin awesome.
Guy came with change. On time. Food Quality 4/5. What else would one want.
Good option for maharashtrian food
I got kharvas, one of my favorite sweet here
Ordered vangi bharit and rice bhakari,
Veg soup and kaju paneer masala
Food 4/5
Ambiance 2/5
Service 3/5
Sometimes all you need is a place where you get to eat a good variety of food at the most reasonable prices. We had two thalipeeth, two paav bhaji, one puran poli and pizza (the Indian-ized version) in Rs.500!
Not a very highly recommended place however on days when you just wish to dress down, step out and chill with your friends over some normal (Maharashtrian) ghar ka khaana, go to Amey.
Good food ...one of best things to be for BKC employees only issue is delivery u cant expect them deliver before an hour u order but food is always tasty whatever u order but vegetables are somewhat oily.
Great place to visit for " Assal maharashtrian food " You can so try for chinese food and all. One of the best veg restaurant in Bandra east......☺
Sandeepkumar Modi !! श्रद्धा और सब

Amey right opposite MIG club, a place for maharastrian cuisine delicious. Superb preparation with fantastic taste & flavour , the best for preparation even the deep fried item are not at all oily. So just hog on the dishes without any guilt of consuming oil or any other saturate fats. The must try item at this place is the " Okaliche Modhak " a kind of momos with sweeten coconut filling. This item is very rarely found in the city at any maharastrian joint. So a must must try & you will love it. Feel sorry to discover this place so late , anyhow I enjoyed & hope you all enjoy too.
Also does delivery I n bandra East locality & bkc.
Authentic Marathi food joint....donot expect to get on time service and good ambience.
Just go simply for food which non maharatrian won't get to eat at fine dine
Must try kala vatana usal ,pithla, zunka ,kanda bhaji, and yummy kothambir vadi....
Right opposite Mig club . Very fine food. They have special Marathi stuff like thalipeeth, puran poli , kharwas, piyush , ukadiche modak, misal etc. Fine dine for a wholesome meal.
Well Amey used to be our daily morning breakfast places where we ordered from at work. Their steaming hot poha not to miss the green chillies accompanied with their coconut chutney, their crisp medu vada and their kothambir vadi a good start to your boring mornings.
Good place to order. Never visited though ordered many times from office.
Started with dosa and honestly it was much above expectations. Then tried Aloo Paratha and with Paneer Butter masala. Even it was nice to taste. Packaging was real careful. Comes friendly on the pocket also. Overall a decent place to order
Actually visited this place as plan B (or C). But, boy am I glad that we made this choice!! This is a typical Maharashtrian restaurant. The seating arrangement is simple. However, the decor immediately suggests a Maharashtrian theme.
You wouldn't want to miss their sweet treats. So, make sure you visit just before the peak timings (around 12:30 pm, afternoon and 7:30 pm, evening). Their specialities include modaks (pillowy soft, steamed momos with a coconut-jaggery filling), kharwas (steamed milk pudding) and the ever-delicious aamras (no description required).
You have a plethora of alternatives when it comes to traditional Marathi specials. Crowd favorites include baingan ka bharta (too good, a must-try), zhunka bhakar and usal. Make sure you ask for piyush (quite similar to lassi), to end your hearty meal.
We were very happy with the serving portions and the pace at which the food arrived at the table. Although, do expect the service to be slow during peak hours.
Amey is also known for its misal paav and paav bhaaji. Very good option, especially if you are looking for a family-style dining place.

The only veg restaurant from which I don't mind ordering food..... cos they serve the authentic maharashtrian cuisine. Right from the poha to the pau bhaji to the modaks and the kharwas.......................simply amazing and up to the taste.
Never been to this place but the food is really delicious. When i am sick and don't feel like having anything i order the dal khichdi (though i am not fond of it, but this guy just makes it amazing) and not to forget the curd rice........... Yummiieeee........... with a dash of the right spices
i ordered food from Ameya. The ukdiche modak were supppperrrrb. juicy big and fat. The walacha birda or dalimbi ussal as it is called, was well made though not spicy. i added mirch at home to my taste. The bharli vaangi were good too. masale bhaat was more like a pulao. but am thankful to Ameya for being one of remnants of places serving maharashtrian cuisine in Mumbai. Such a shame that marathi joints are fast dwindling. All you get is paneer paneer and paneer and udipi. Even Ameya serves the routine punjabi fare but atleast has some maharashtrian servings. very good experience overall
We happen to order from this plce so can't comment on the ambience.. We ordered Pav bhaji and was told it's a typical Maharashtrain cuisine.. The plce was first started with a lady suppling food to offices and now ended up having a restaurant!
Pav bhaji tasted well I was surprised that it wasn't spicy at all...just the way I prefer it.
So definitely will go ahead a try out more items in the future!
A simple, friendly and authentic place for Maharashtrian food... Had some veg fare like Pithale, tandalachi bhaji, kharwas and walayacha birds, bhakri.. Amazing.. Plus the service is quick and with a smile.. All for under 400 rupees for two!!
The restaurant is famous for the maharashtrian vegetarian offerings. My favourites in this place
Kanda poha - breakfast
Kothimbir wada - breakfast
Misal pav - all time
Dal rice - lunch
Kokam sarbat - all time
Apart from these the north indian dishes are also ok. The place is cheap. You will be satisfied without feeling the pinch.
This a perfect maharashtrian veg cuisine... it has become rare to find such authentic maharastrian food in mumbai....you can feel it the way people enjoying their food.
If you cant host your outstation friends at home then amey is the best place. I admired the the entire family was busy looking after serving guests. Keep it up guys.
I tried 1. vanga bharit... almost perfect
2. Modak.... fresh n served hot... its a must visit....
Awesome food , plus it's near my college
Thus a second hangout plave for me and my college mates
Only issues is what's with they waiters
Why are they trying to take away the plates before they ate empty? It happened twice but now since I have complained the manager that thing stopped at least with us since I was a regular person here
It's ambience is okay.... they serve good food... kharvas is what I always parcel it from here.. kothimbir vadi is awesome.. service is good... overall decent place
Great place to enjoy Authentic Marathi cuisine. My personal favourites include Poor with Aamras (seasonal, Don't miss it!), Kothambir Vadi, Farali Misal, Sabudana Kichdi, and Kokum sherbet.
Best for those who love Maharashtrian food. Others who like junk foods can totle somewhere else. Better than Rest in the area for veg delicacies.
We went here for meet-up. Good for meetings,
It's not accessible , does not have Ramp for disabled ones.
Was room available and clean. It's on another floor and need to go up with about 10 steps.
Food is great option with Maharashtrian food is very gooe
Good place for Maharastrian Food, has variety. But needs to improve waiter quality, service and many things are out of stock.
Our goto place always. Every time we went to this place we have landed eating so much of food. Though there are lot of items on the menu but Maharashtrians specialities are the taste of the place. Try Kothambir wadi, bhakri , jhunka , modak and puranpoli. Well if you are a fan of Maharashtra food then you can’t miss this place 🤩
One of the best places to have Maharashtrian breakfast. We had ordered Kothimbir Vadi, thalipeeth, Batata Vada, Vada Usal and Chai. Taste is very delicious. The only concern is you have to go and place your order at the counter. The ambience is good and the interior is very creative. Overall an amazing experience 👍

Must visit for enjoying maharashtrian dishes. I love the Kothimbir (Coriander) wadi and also Vada paav. It is too good. Ambience is great. Food taste so so so good. Service is good only you have order by going to counter. Order arrive at your table. Washroom is available on 1st floor. Seating arrangement is also good.
I tried Maharashtrian food here for the first time with my friends and it was really a great experience. We tried a lot of different dishes here, out of them I liked the misalpaanu and the thali peeth the most.
Brings back me to home. Ohh so delictable yummilicious mouth licking authentic food. I am fan of this place since more than a decade. I use to dine regularly here when I use to work at BKC but still always make it a point to stop by whenever I am around here. Must visit again and again. Yes lot many changes now as there is shortage of man power and hence u have to place your order at the counter and then it wl be served to u at the table and the service is quite slower now as lack of staffing. Yet the experience of having such good food is all worth it. Kothimbir Wadi, Upvas cutlet, Zunka Bhakar, Dal khichdi, their filter coffee.. I think I can go on typing their menu here. So so yummy! Recommend this place for multiple visit. ThanQ for this kind of authentic food.

Services are slow little bit becoz of heavy orders.

We were at this restaurant for a saturday brunch. We tried kothambir wadi, poha, sabu Dana vada and kokam sarbat.

It's a beautiful restaurant specialist in Maharashtrian dishes. We tried many dishes like bata Vada, misal pav, thalipat. The food was delicious and service was upto the mark. Yet it was the self service but yet they served on us table.
