It was ramzan time and me and my friends were chilling and it was suhoor time so i suggested my friend lets go to Farid seekh kebab center.As it was ramzan time there was too much crowd . But somehow we got a table and the staff served us fresh seekh with hot parathas and green chutney accompanied with some onion lachchas ,lemon wedges and mint leaves.😍😋😋

If you want to have seekh paratha or just seekh kabab in Andheri/Jogeshwari, then the best place is no doubt Farid's. For the price (which is cheap), the quality and taste what you get is the best. The place is always crowded during evenings/night. So be ready to wait or share a table with someone. Or you can just parcel it and have it in your car or food. The green chutney with onion which you get along with the kebabs is another addition to make your eating experience tastier.

So I have heard a lot about Farid Seekh Kabab Centre at Jogeshwari and I decided to finally make the journey and see if the hype was real. Short story, it definitely was.
They have only one thing on their menu, in fact we weren't even presented with a menu. We just ordered the seekh kabab and Paratha. The Paratha they made was the fried version and while it tasted great my only complaint is that it fill you too fast so you can't have more seekh.
Now for the star of the show. The belle of the ball. That amazing beef seekh kabab. It was juicy, very tender and full of flavour. It wasn't spicy nor did it have that extra masala taste to it. The texture was soft and crumbly. It was almost perfect. 9.5/10
If there was only one thing I could change about the meal I would have some roomali roti with it instead of the fried Paratha. Farid Seekh Kabab Centre is one of those places that you have to visit if you are into your beef seekh. I know I say this often but you definitely won't be disappointed here.

The seekh is made out of beef which instantly melts in your mouth like butter! The parathas are fried perfectly, not too crunchy nor too soft.
The only thing you get here is the seekh paratha, but once you eat it you won't be needing anything else. You can also ask them to put the seekh in the paratha and make a roll of it. The service is super fast too.
2 seekhs and 1 paratha just costs you 60 rupees which is indeed a value for money!

It's been more than 10 years since I was introduced to this place by my husband. And in all those 10 years, neither has their menu changed basically no add on's, prices have not sky rocketed and neither has the taste changed, which says a lot about a place if they can maintain the same consistency for 10 years is amazing.
The menu is simple - Seekh kebabs served with deep fried parathas and mint chutney with lime slices.
That's it, nothing fancy but they have stuck to it bcoz they know they have nailed the taste and they will always have get crowd due to sheer word of mouth.

Located at Behram Baug in Jogeshwari West, I have literally watched this place grow from a small shop to now becoming this big. The only sad part is they don't offer any delivery but that's justified because this place is always crowded no matter what time you visit. Open from 6 PM to 1 AM, this place accepts only cash. They have a seperate shop right opposite if you want to dine-in with a seperate section for family.
Coming to the food, their seekh parathas are very famous in the area. Their seekh is quite soft while the parathas are crispy. The combination of both alongside the chutney and onion makes it heavenly. The prices are very reasonable with 1 seekh and 1 paratha costing you a total of just Rs 60 (They recently increased the price from 50 to 60). They also offer takeaway but even if it's crowded, your order will still not take a long time as their service is very quick.
If you're a fan of seekh kababs, then this place is definitely worth a visit. Located in the heart of Jogeshwari west, they don't have any branches. Personally, we had suggest that you dine in at the restaurant to have it all fresh and yummy but not a bad option for takeaway as well.

This is my favorite place. Arguably the best spot in Mumbai for seekh paratha. The taste has been consistent for decades. They serve seekh and paratha with a pile of onion rings drenched in a spicy, minty, lemony chutney and a bunch of fresh mint leaves.
