Had ordered Chicken Handi and chicken hyderabadi, naan, roti and a soup. The soup was nice, but Hyderabadi and Handi had quite similar red gravies. Hyderabadi genrally has green gravy, taste was okay and almost same but I guess there was a mix up with the order.

Vishwa samrat(VS) is a fine dine located at 5raasta in mulund west. This is my all time favourite restaurant for north indian food. It is our family restaurant and I’m visiting this place since almost 15 years now.

Chicken afgani tandoori
It is basically reshmi tandoori or the white tandoori. It is so far, THE BEST I’ve ever had. It is mouth melting and finger licking good!!! Also, the Russian salad served along with it is next to none.
Reshmi tikka
If you like it boneless, go for this one. The marination is superb!!(same as afgani tandoori)
Green tandoori
This was also pretty fine but would recommend to order the Reshmi tandoori only.
Chicken lollipops
The size of chicken wings was greater than what we get at other restaurants. It was tender from inside and crisp on the outside. Also, their schezwan chutney is just amazing!!!
Crispy chicken
When we ordered this dish for the first time, we thought that it was the indo chinese chicken crispy in which chicken is fried and tossed in schezwan sauce, will be served. Instead, chicken strips, coated with fried noodles(thread chicken) was served. The taste was so brilliant that it became our favourite and we ordered it regularly.
Main course
Murg patiala
This is one of the best main course I’ve ever had. It has both green as well as red gravies. Both are finger licking good!! The pieces of chicken are a bit less, because it has omelette in it.
Murg makhanwala
It is One of the best butter chicken I’ve ever had!! Thick and creamy, perfect consistency.
Tawa ghost
The gravy was spicy and delicious. The mutton was evenly cooked. It was served on a plate which actually looked like a tawa, so full marks for presentation too.
Triple sundae
This one is an all time favourite!!! 3 flavours of ice creams served with custard, jelly, fruits and topped with waffer biscuits and nuts!! A perfect dessert to end your meal with!!
Pricing
The north indian food may seem expensive, but it’s completely worth!! The continental food is also priced decently. However, chinese is expensive.
So, would suggest to go for north indian itself.

Love the way Salads are made and presented and one of my favorite haunt to have my dinner. You cannot go wrong with any item, try and you will not be disappointed whether it is veg or non-veg.

It has always been a good experience to visit vishwa samrat, we ordered veg seekh kebab and paneer salt and pepper for starters, and the latter was suggested by the captain - we were unsure, but it was made very well. The veg seekh kebab was good too but we felt it was a bit dry. For main course we had veg bhuna (amazing taste), chicken kranti (has almost become their signature dish), some rotis, and also some drinks. The staff are polite, attentive, and very welcoming. They know what their restaurant makes best and don’t shy away from making suggestions when you’re having a tough time deciding what to order.

This place is near Panch rasta besides police station.
This is quite a well known place also very near to my house but never got a chance to visit.
Today I ordered home delivery.
I ordered Chicken fried rice for 280rs which costed me around 220rs after zomato discount.
Quantity was decent and taste was good.
Would have been better if they would have provide some schezwan or any chutney to accompany. Rice provided with chilli and soya souce sachet which is not fair with rice quantity.
Would definitely like to visit sometime to try other delicacies.

This place is much better for Chinese. I haven’t visited it personally. Infact always ordered for home delivery. Veg fried rice along with muchurian is the best combination. Delivery is quite quick also the quantity is worth the amount they charge.

VS is as it is called now is an amazing restaurant. its been refurbished into a really good fine dining place. Mulund can hardly boast of fine dining restaurant that comes close to VS s standards.
The food is amazing and at surprising prices. The service is prompt and unassuming. The servers do not hover and let you have a quiet private time but are very prompt in taking orders and serving. they ll even suggest the choices from the menu which is worth a try.
We are definitely going back return customers.

My family has been frequent customers of VS for 27 years. The food is of good standards and especially the north indian dishes and paneer dishes are too good.
Try the chutney which is given at the start it is too good. The place has good ambience and a cricket fan can view a cricket match after going there in there screen.
