Great place to have snacks but having lunch or dunner here is bad idea for me.
This restaurant is known for its authentic maharashtrian food. We had ordered dalimbi usal and puri which was great in taste. Another dish was upvsacha dosa which was also good. The restaurant has waiting so you have to come a little early here.
A hotel in a very crowded and significant area of dadar. Very famous for its typical maharastrian food. There was a waiting when we visited this restaurant. We visited this hotel in the evening and ordered a full-fledged snacks items such as misal pav, masala dosa, pav bhaji, sabudana vada, buttermilk and kokam sarbat. Everything was up to the mark and tasted so good. Hygienic conditions were maintained and the staff was courteous. Loved it.
Trupti is a Casual Dining South Indian, Fast Food, Maharashtrian, North Indian place near Plaza cinema and gives nice Misal Pav and Vada Pav as well as Aamrus with Puri

They serves you proper maharashtrian food.
Had been here on sunday 7th jully 2019 with family obviously😃😃as the place is.
Had ordered thali as had heard it's speciality.for rs.143/-it was quite good limited thali.the alu vadi was great.we ordered 3 portion of it.the cost of it felt hefty rs.55/-per plate😳😳my mom makes it and make more perfect, anyways,as they say home made food is always better and cheap😋.thali consists for 3 chapati, lentils(ussaal as in marathi)spinach liquid(palak aamti)dal, rice, curd, rice pudding(seev kheer),papad, beetroot raita and pickle.menu of vegetable changes per day.decent quantity.ambience was not good though.the place is very cropped.u have to wait in line to get seat or better to pre book.u can get south Indian and other punjabi dishes too here, but coming here and having those dosent make any sense.will try again to check other variety in thali.🙏
This hotel in Dadar West just amazing one serving multi cuisine. Their Maharashtrian dishes are just mind blowing and mouth watering.

Just the way it should be with proper proportion of veggie and farsan🙈

We were so hungry that the only dish we got a picture of was the pizza. We also tried the missal, sabudana wada, kothimbir vadi, batata wada and dudhi halwa. The kothimbir wadi, missal and didhi halwa were the real standouts. The rest of the stuff was pretty good as well.
The food was good & affordable. Enjoyed the meal. The restaurant has not only Maharashtrian cuisine but also has a variety of other cuisines. Modaks tasted phenomenal with the added ghee. The service too was quick.
excellent and prompt service
A very famous restaurant for Maharashtrian Food in Dadar.. There is always waiting here.. as it is located near prime shopping area ....They serve amazing quality food...service is quick..staff is polite and helpful
A place worthy of visiting for veg foodies in Dadar.
Below are few dishes that I ate:
1. Dalimbichi usal with chapati:
Loved it a lot. Sweet in taste. Tastes great with chapati or even baajri chi bhaakri.
2. Paneer masala:
This was not so great. It had too much saltiness.
3. Veg pulao:
The taste was nice. Nothing brilliant about it though.
The other things that I tried were aamras puri, shrikhand.
One thing I noticed is, the quantity was very less in comparison to the price that they charged. But overall, the taste was good.
I would rate this as 3.9/5
Trupti opposite to plaza is a very great restaurant, it is a pure vegetarian restaurant. There is always waiting in the evening. Good for a quick bite.
Superb Food - Very fast & packing also proper. Must try.. would suggest open Fried rice and all too - For such orders people need to search different restaurant.
I had ordered paneer tikka and roti.....the taste was good ... quality was also good but quantity is not up to the mark.....and also the rate is somewhat higher compared to other restaurants
This restaurant is really very good which serves the best Maharashtrian dishesh ...this place is situated at dadar west...

A pgreat place if you are dining out with family for delicious Maharashtrian food.
Located near Plaza Cinema, Dadar (W); the restaurant usually has a waiting period.
Fully air conditioned and hygiene is maintained.
Their Kulfi Faluda was delicious and one can try.
Not too much expensive.
Even the dilevery through app comes in proper containers.
Food quality is to the mark but it would have been better if the quantity was more.
The place is very nice..they serve quality food and each item is tasty..menu includes south Indian and Maharashtrian snacks as well as fasting items..we had misal pav, puri and aam Ras..out of which aam ras was delightful..must visit restaurant for foodies..
Today I visited this place with my best friend, the place having Fully AC compartment with best seating arrangement. The place are 50 year old with redesign according to new generation. The place having good ambience.
We order Misal Paav and masala dosa. The taste of both food is such great.
Misal paav taste are different than I eat ever the shev or we can say Farsan are different than anyother misalpaav I eat ever also that misal contain vigna aconitifolia which is properly cooked.
Masala dosa taste I personally feel same as I eat anyother place always sambhar is important so sambhar taste also same as we eat other restaurant.
Also order received withing 10min. Staffs are supportive.
Ambience: 4/5
Taste: 5/5
Quantity: 5/5
Service: 5/5
PS: Great place If you are living nearby Dadar then visit atleast 1 time.
It's a good place. Good food. If u are in a hurry, don't go because there's usually a lot of waiting given the fact it's at a prime shopping location. But the service is fast too. Staff is polite. Food is of course good. But I would say their maharashtrian food is way way tastier, not complaints there. But the south Indian & non-maharashtrian food isn't as good. Order maharashtrian or regular mumbai food & you'll love it.
Food: 4/5
Ambience: 3/5
Service: 4/5
Cost: 4/5
Its an authentic maharastrian place to eat. One of the Best place to grab some maharastrian snacks.
I remember eating their thalis a lot. As a kid i enjoyed it since you dont like a to eat spicy food. But now i just have one complaint is dont make the sabjis too sweet. After a point you loose the enthusiasm of eating it. Other snacks items are really good and cooked with really good ingredients.
Please try to make sabjis less sweet in thalis.
Thanks zomato for your service
It’s a sweet and simple place..... we can go with our friends and family.... nice maharashtrian food must try kotambir vadi , misal, amras puri, raita and Piyush❤️ only 1 problem there is a long queue it’s quite time consuming....😞
When it comes to Maharashtrian food ,the name that comes to mind is Trupti. This restaurant is located near Dadar market and serves the best food in the area.I ordered a thali peeth, satori, filter coffee and sabudana khichadi.Amazing food and very courteous staff.

Quite reasonable place. Tried Maharashtrian and Chinese cuisine here. Alu vadi (patra) is a must try. Good quality food and service with a descent ambience.
Biryani not upto good.. Pithale Bhakri was perfect
Been here like zillion times only this time I have some pics to share with you guys .
All my shopping spree at Dadar ends at this restaurant which is just opposite to plaza cinema and next to selection outlet.
Always crowded on weekends and peak hours.
This time around we ordered Veg tiranga (a mix of three gravies orange white and green) nice in taste and quantity enough for three people .some butter rotis and kulchas, and paneer biryani which came along with curd and papad.
Definitely recommend.
Do try their custard with jelly and kulfis they are great too.
A budget friendly restaurant.
Great in service .
A small joint but definitely not to miss .
Give them a try you won't be disappointed.
Thumbs up from my side.
I tried thalipeet and Bhajni Vade combo with piyush. I would definitely recommend it. It was tasty. Be prepared to wait for at least 20-30min as there is waiting. Next time I am going to try Aloowadi and khotambir wadi
Location: Dadar
Staff: Polite and fast
Ambience: Neat and spacious
Food: Maharashtrian, Fast Food and North Indian
We loved the food aluwadi; bhajni wadas; pizza, amla sherbet, masala bhat and satori. The only thing is that ghee was not served with the puranpoli as is the norm in all places
Must visit pocket friendly
ordered paneer tawa it was good and enjoyed a lot
A place to go for good taste food after shopping in Dadar. Sober restaurant serving Maharashtrian and North Indian Dishes.
It's located opposite Plaza, and has small place due to which it's crowded almost all the time.
I have been visiting this place since childhood and have tried almost each and every dish.
Kothimbir vadi, pav bhaaji, kairicha panha(seasonal), Aloo paratha, Tawa pulao and Paneer Tikka Masala are some of my favorite dishes from Trupti..!!
It's one of the oldest and much loved restaurant. Quality and taste of food is great. Also the service is quick.
I had visited this place a couple of days ago. Tried a few dishes. I specifically liked the kothimbir vade and masala dosa. The service was good too. Thank You.
To all the maharashtrian food lovers, this place is perfect to fulfil your taste buds. Kothimbir Wadi, Mattha Misal, Aloo wadi, sagla ekdum authentic. Sometimes you'll have to wait for say half n hour. But this is the case with every restaurant in Dadar 😉
If you are craving for authentic Maharashtrian food then this place is perfect. I had order thali and aloo vadi. The food was good and tasty. No doubt you get other dishes like punjabi, pizza, pav Bhaji, etc. but you should order maharashtrain food items only. The ambience is also quite good. So I round suggest to visit this place if you are foodie person.
Trupti is another outlet that I am watching since childhood that is serving the cause of Maharashtrian tradition just like few others in the neighborhood.
Tasty, mouthwatering Maharashtrian preparations is their domain. The unmistakable Misal, the underrated Batata Wada ( by the non Maharashtrian, as they mistakenly take wada pav as the native Batata Wada without acknowledging the salient difference between each preparation) Kothimbir vadi, Patal Bhaji- Puri, there are enumerable delicacies & combinations that one can just feast upon.
Space is at a terrible premium at Trupti & as a result one always finds a small riot around the lunch hour mark & thereon & a long waiting line often, such is the extent of their popularity, it goes without saying they have parked themselves at the most bustling, busiest place in town, Plaza, Dadar.
But everyone is treated equally & accommodated fairly & the process of feeding the hungry Janata continues.
Full five stars.. Nothing less
For all the maharashtrain food lovers this is where you should you go for hoggin if you are at dadar. It's a nice yet simple kind of restaurant, they have a wide range of menu right from upma, poha, dosa till lassi and fasting items. It's more of a place where you especially go when you are hungry and all you have to do is eat it's less of an hangout place. Missal pav, South Indian food and fasting (upvas) item are highly recommend. We got ourselves missal pav , sabudana khichadi, sabudana vada and lassi.
Edit- I forgot to mention UPVASACHA DOSA which is like a fasting item but such a great snack to munch on I highly recommend this UPVASACHA DOSA
The food here is super authentic. The best part is it's pure veg restaurant and have lots of options for maharashtrian cuisine. I tried their lunch thali with Puri. The portion size is very good and worth the price too. They served 2 sabzi, dal, rice, Puri, salad, pickle, sweet and papad. I found it very cost effective too. Their sweets are definitely to be tried! Absolutely gonna visit them again for their Maharashtrian delicacies.
This place is known for its tasty foods and authentic dadarkar atmosphere.
Mast try all the maharashtrian food.
One of my favourite places to visit for great food. An authentic place for every maharashtrian. The food served here is exceptionally well and tastes better than ever. The kotimbir wada their special mangola juice is just amazing. Over all the experience was good food 10)10 staff and environment 10/10. Rates approximately 250-300 for 2 person for breakfast. Must visit place for great food ❤️

A great eatery for traditional Maharashtrian snacks and meals.
Delicious fresh food. Misal was yum. Batata wada was delicious. Piyush was good too. Sabudana wada could be a bit better.
Huge crowds .high waiting time.
Excellent quality of maharashtrian food.
Fast and efficient service.
Worth the wait.
Also serve south Indian and Punjabi snacks.
Opp Plaza cinema.Perfect location for
Veg snacks or meals after shopping at dadar West.
Some of the dishes we tried and loved
Thalipith , sabudana vada.puri bhaji,veg maharashtrian thali.
Modak,puranpoli.
Absolutely delicious.
Veg thali was good. Modak was also yummy 😋. Only one modak comes in one plate so make sure to mention how many you wish to have. The kothimbir wadi is disappointing as it has barely any kothimbir in it.
The ambience is good. The service is quick and efficient.
This hotel in Dadar West just amazing one serving multi cuisine. Their Maharashtrian dishes are just mind blowing and mouth watering.
Misal pav

Good restaurant for Veg Cuisine
Specially famous for authentic Maharashtrain food
The interior is simple ,staff is good at service and the price is reasonable .
The quality of food is good and satisfying compared to the price rates .
The restaurant is very close to Dadar,Plaza.
Ample amount of resources are available for transport including BEST buses, private and shared taxis,Local and metro trains within 200 m from the Restaurant.
The restaurant doesn't offer parking although there are few lanes besides the road nearby where space is provided to park vehicles .
The restaurant is usually busy during nights on the weekends
Must try : Misal Pav
Kothambir Wadi
Good option for veg in dadar, good quality of food
I tried normal roti bhaji with kothimbir vadi and kokam sarbat which was good
Many upwas options are there which u can try like thalipit.
There will be waiting in weekends on lunch and dinner time.
I went here with my family and cousins. This place is one of the iconic places in dadar. We went here on Sunday hence there was a long waiting time. We ordered Puri bhaji, pav bhaji, modak, thalipeeth, srikhand and chikoo milkshake. Food is tasty and fulfilling. One of the best places for Maharashtrian food near plaza cinema. It is light on pocket as well. Must visit whenever in this area
Trupti is a pure vegetarian restaurant that serves authentic Maharashtrian cuisine.
They deliver 'poori lunch box' which includes a proper lunch menu comprising of pooris, bhaji, usal, a dessert and some accompaniments.
Lunch box also offers you an option of including dalimbi usal as well as masale bhaat at an extra cost. This lunch box costs 248 rupees.
An authentic Maharashtrian restaurant, serving the best Brahmin style food in Dadar. If your shopping in dadar don’t miss to try this pocket friendly restaurant, visiting this place and ordering idli or pav bhaji is really not a good idea though they serve delicious food. But if you are a real food lover and looking for Authentic Marathi home style food this is the place.
Staff and ambiance is nice 😊
Great food at affordable prices, pretty good environment. .... Great restaurant to visit with family.... you can find real Maharashtrian food here .... Loved this place.... Must try.....
