No seating area but all snacks options are tasty.
Shri krishna serves number one good quality batata vada and sabudana vada.... It's the only shop that serves anything without garlic ... Do try atleast these two snacks... With lots of extra chutney😍.
I like batata vadas from here....rest is just ok
In this lockdown time also provided us with yummy hot batana vada with no compromise on quality.
Known this place since childhood and beyond. My mom and uncles would describe this place for batawadas, but I am not a fan of it. If you ask my preference here then I usually go here for pani puri and some chaat. A quick bite and off I go. There are other options as well
Had Batata Vada and Sabudana Vada in this amazing place which is there from 19s and is very popularly known around cities. Food experience over there was nice. The chutney served with sabudana vada was amazing. Overall was a nice experience.
Best Best Place For Batata Vada. It's quite Famous here in Dadar. Just outside the Dadar Station in the west.
Best place for quick Bites.
I love all their item.
Favorites would be -

This place serves totally yummy batatawada, only vada, not with pav.
Also samosa, sabudana vada, kothambir vadi, mugdal bhaji, and many other chat options
Must visit this place
Shree Krishna Batatawada is located at Dadar west nearby Chabildas high school. The snacks centre has been in the area for around 75 years now. I used to study in chabildas high school and I remember having their Vadas every now and then when I was a kid. I visited them after a long time and the taste is still the same. I really love this snacks centre even though the prices have increased now. I would recommend everyone to try their Vadas and other food items on the menu as well.
Food in the picture :
Batatwada
Dahi wada
One of the best places in whole Mumbai to have a variety of good food under a single roof. Dahi-Batata sev puri is a must to have..Milkshakes are also good. Overall excellent place
My grand parents are the customers of this place from the year it started. And I am the 3 Rd generation having the wada here every week. And my grand parents used too say it still same the same though they used to have for 2-2.5 bucks.
Not so oily wada how we get in Bombay now a days. Perfect taste of Kari leaves n mustard seeds with potatoes. Perfect spices.
This place is actually famous for only one dish and that's batatawada. Actually that was the best batatawada I ever had till now . Really different in taste from others.
I have been visiting here since my childhood!
Poha samosa, kothimbir vadi, panjabi samosa and many items are good from here!!

Located on the super duper busy street that leads to Dadar (west) station, right opposite Chhabildas High School; Shree Krishna Batatawada is a popular snack joint, that is frequented by food lovers across all age groups since decade. Right from our grandparents to parents and now - Us; food lovers across generations have relished their famous Batata Wadas, Kothimbir Wadi among other popular delicacies.
The name itself tells you that the joint is famous for piping hot 'Batata Wada' (priced at Rs 50), served with chillies on the side (which has a flavour of its own). We can never get enough of this combination! These batata wadas have the right flavour, are crispy enough to melt in your mouth, and fill your tummy quite well. We also like their 'Sabudana Wada', which is perfect for individuals who are fasting on any day of the week (or even otherwise). While the Wada, Kothimbir Wadi, Mix Bhaji and other Maharashtrian snacks have been their signature items since the time of start, they've steadily their expanded menu. From introducing a Chaat section (we love their Pani Puri) to Franky, Fresh Fruit juices and more; there is a lot to choose from.
The place does not have any seating area, and you will have to find some space for yourself (a little inside, opposite the chaat section) to stand. There are tall tables, where you can keep your plate and enjoy some 'Kokum Sarbat' or 'Ginger Lemon' along with a plate of Wada. The ambience can be noisy, as the street is always crowded with a lot of street shoppers and vendors. Plus, since this is a busy street that leads to Dadar station, you can expect a lot of rush during prime time as well.
Our Favourites:
Batata Wada with Green Chillies
Sabudana Wada with Coconut Chutney
Kothimbir Wadi
Moong Dal Bhaji (fritters)
Pani Puri
Among the beverages, "Kokum Sarbat" and "Ginger Lemon" are some of our personal favourites.
Light on the pocket. Tummy full. 100% taste satisfaction! Shree Krishna Batatawada will continue to be a personal favourite for every Mumbaikar (and foodie).
Until next time Bon Appétit

Shree Krishna Batatawada is very popular and also is one of the oldest eateries. They serve some amazing snacks and chaats. Their batatawadas are simply amazing. My aaji is a huge fan of their samosas which have filling of flattened rice(poha). I personally enjoy their veg roll and not to forget; the chutneys are lip smacking
"Shree Krishna Batatawada" is famous for the snacks they serve since ages.
The one we have in frame is "Veg Roll".
Its basically veggies stuffed into potato covering. And for extra crisp the bread roll is covered with vermacilli. The roll is served with 2 types of chutneys (extremely spicy and the sweet one) ; is garnished with nylon sev and coriander.
Overall I have totally fallen for the 'veg roll'.It tastes scrumptious. And I'm sure you guys would love it too.

Location - Radha Niwas, 7, Chhabildas Rd, Dadar West, Mumbai, Maharashtra 400028.

I hv a special relationship with this place , used to study at D.A Silva school , hence it used to be my hangout place since childhood, this place never disappoint u .
I think it's batatavada is the best in Mumbai , nd combination of its vada nd sweet samosa can never be beaten, although over the years they hv increased their rate from 8 RS a plate to now 40 RS , but it's fine because good thing r always costly..
Do try Shree Krishna lassiwalla opp Nakshatra mall because if u hvnt tasted theirs lassi u hv certainly missed a complete experience. ☮️
This place serves the best batatawada and Dadar crowd already knows it 💜 Best place for a quick bite with pocket friendly price and good taste. Always crowded. Only the lack of seating is a minus point but the taste n quick service makes up for it.

Best batata wada!
They don't serve pav but the taste of the vada makes it up for it!
Love the wada! Also, other things taste very good here!
Awesome place to have maharashtrian snacks in Dadar. They are mainly known for their batata wada. Apart from this they also serve sabudana wada and samosas. This place is always crowded and service is quick.
This is one of the best places to eat wadapav near dadar station. The batata wadas are noce. The sabudana wada and samosas are good too. Service is fast. Very crowded durung evenings.
I've visited this place on so many occasions and its never let me down.
This place is mainly known for its batata vadas. There's always a huge crowd here. Service is quick but issue with seating. Good place for a quick bite
Hi all,
Welcome back to the food review and today i am gonna give the review of one of the oldest and famous batata wada joints in dadar ie shree krishna.
If you are from city then i am sure you might have heard of this joint serving wada from a long time and the unique thing is they serve wada with mirchi and not vada pav.
Well the menu is vast now with various chaat, frankie and other item but i decided to havr their standard food.
Batatawada (5/5):-
Well the look of this wada is different as its huge and the stuffing is loaded with potatoes spices and perfectly blended with masala.
Served hot with mirchi this is a typical Mangalore style stuffing or bonda which is called here in mumbai.
Do try this for 18 rs per piece this is worth a try if you havent tasted it.
Patti samosa (3.5/5):-
This is again their patent samosa served with coconut chatni and goes perfectly well with the samosa stuffed with filling and rolled over a patti so that its served crisp and hot.
For 22 rs it might be a bit high but the chatni is made of pure cocunut hence may be the price.
Verdict:-
Well in the age where you get a vada pav for 12 rs this place still has its name and taste for the vada and mirchi served hot and thats what the outlet is famous for.
For all people loving street food you can surely try this vada as ita different.
Other similar options are mama kane batata wada.
The place which hits every Dadarkar's mind after hearing Batata Wada! The traditional Shree Krishna Batata Wada stands as the only fame for Wada! The place is now being turned into a food court over all! Worth a visit!
There is a sign at this place, "You remember the taste after the price is long forgotten", it lives up to every bit of that line.
If you believe Batata Wada is the real thing and Wada Pav is a mistake, you have arrived at the right place. Don't ask for pav, it's an insult to the wada (not available as well)
The wada here is superlative - good size and full of taste - add a few fried chilies and the day is made.
The samosa, kothimbir wadi and sabudana wada are also awesome.
We had to take a train from Dadar Railway Station. Had heard about the Batata Vada from this place. Thus as soon as we landed at the Railway Station, we headed here for some food for our journey.
We got Batata Vada, Sabudana Vada, Kotmir Vadi packed. The Batata Vada was too good. Sabudana was ok. Kotmir Vadi was decent. They serve coconut Chutney with these items. The chutney was yummy.
We also tried Piyush. By what I understood about this drink was it was a mix of shrikand and Lassi to me. It tasted yummmyyyyyyy.
On a hot afternoon, Piyush was refreshing.
Prices were Pocket Friendly. So if ur near Dadar Railway Station and hungry. Don't think just head over here
This place is located in dadar and It is always crowded like dadar station.
Choose your food, pay the money, take the coupon from counter and Enjoy your food.
Had Batatawada,Ice cold panipuri and Schezwan frankie. Out of this three, batatawada and panipuri are highlights of this outlet.
💎Ice Cold panipuri: This will be my all time favourite. Size of puri is very large. Worth trying this.
💎Schezwan Frankie: Not as best as panipuri But It will surely satisfy your tummy.
💎Batata Wada: amazing!! The size of wada is very large and stuffing is very tasty.
Cost wise very pocket friendly. The only problem is there is no place to sit, you have to stand and eat.
Overall great great great experience. Fully statisfied

Shree krishana batatawada dadar west me hai.
Yaha fast food khana acha milta hai.
Adi aap jaldi kaha jana jate ho to yaha khana kha sakte ho.
Wada Pav,batata Wada bohat acha milta hai.
This place is always crowded when you visit. The reason being the tasty varieties of wada and other delicacies. Its situated right outside dadar station thus welcomes a storm of people ready to grab a bite on the go. The name says it all. Exceptional Batata wadas. Large range of other items as Samosa, Moongdal wada and Sabhudhana wada. I enjoy the ice cold Paani-poori the most. Good place for chaats as well. No seating available, Hygiene is good. You will either have to take the parcel or you will have to eat while standing. Good place for great Street food.
Love fast food?
Then Shree Krishna Batatawada is famous place for fast food which situated in Dadar West, near to dadar railway station about to 3 to 5 minute walk.
This restaurant is pure veg. Restaurant. Having lots of Variety's of chaat items, sandwiches and many more. Here you get Chinese and North Indian food too.
I've ordered misal pav, Dal khichadi and masala chass which tastes good.
Seating arrangement and service of this restaurant good.
Overall this place value for money.
#ShreeKrishnaBatatawada #Dadar(West)
About the location ( Dadar itself is a Excellent Location 😅 ) it is amazing , vry busy street 24×7 . This outlet has #NoBranches . It opens at 6:00 am and Closes at 10:00 pm . The crowd there is mostly Office and College crowd . Their Speciality is #BatataWada and it is very famous , I am eating here since long time , sometimes I my college and visit Dadar only for their #Batatawada😅. Me and my colleague had visited here in the morning around 11:00 am . We ordered for #2Batatawada & #2Samosa.
FOOD ( 4/5 )
1. Batata Wada
The cost for 2 Batata wada is Rs.36/- , the size of the Wada is huge compare to other Wada's . The surrounding is Neat and clean and their Counters too. The taste , quality and the stuffing inside cannot me matched to any Batatawada Fastfood in Mumbai as per me . They serve accompaniment as per the items , so with Batatawada they served fried chillies . Enjoyed it . Rating ( 4.5/5 )
2. Samosa
The cost for 2 Samosa is Rs.40/- , they have 2-3 varities in Samosa which i had was stuffed with Poha . Good Quality , fresh stuffing and it was Hot so enjoyed eating . The accompaniment served with this Samosa's was Coconut Chutney. Enjoyed . Rating (4/5)
SERVICE (5/5)
Good service.

Amazing wadas , piping hot with fried green chillis. Chaat counter serving ragda pattice , bhel, dahi puri etc. cold drinks available. They have an attached restaurant serving traditional Maharashtrian and South Indian delicacies.
Great food in the context of taste and quality as well. Prices are considerate. Friendly staff. Must try for chat lovers.
Batata vada, padi chat and poha samosa are recommended to try.
Food was good but one butter pav was less.. It might have been by mistake of the owner but other than that food was awesome
Food was good but much oily
good, but order required hot 🔥..

Chaat & Pani Puri lovers! This is for you...in the busiest, congested, market area nearby Dadar station. Even though I had Google map in my hand, by mistake I entered in an another Krishna food joint, which is located just one or two shops before this gem! So don't repeat my mistake. This is SHREE KRISHNA BATATAWADA, and not Krishna pure veg or restaurant. It is always crowded and LARGE foot joint. It has 2-3 bill counters, operated from its backside too.
It offers amazing CHAATS & BATATA VADA (not Vada Pav). Tasty Vadas with Mirchi. You will not feel need for Pav. And their Pani Puri, Chaats, Bhels are also awesome. Try their SAMOSA CHAAT! I never had such Samosa Chaat before. Their menu includes sandwiches, pav bhaji, pulav, and a lot of items. But visit it for their CHAATS and BATATA VADA! 😍

The only place I can think of in Mumbai which serves hot piping batata wadas without pav. And the only place in Mumbai I can think of where you don't need the pav with Batata wada as the wadas are damn tasty. Even if you ask for Pav with batata wadas you will not get it as they serve only Batata wadas !
Must visit place for eating only Batata wadas. At 36 rupees a plate the Batata wadas and the salt laden mirchis along with it are worth the money !
The outlet also serves other items like samosas, chaat items like pani puri, bhel puri etc. But do visit this place to have only the hot piping Batata wadas.
The Batata wadas are always served hot, so one would either end up burning his finger or his tongue ! 😝
the best wada and very nice taste
Tasty batata vadas. However, 3 pieces of vadas put of 6 ordered by me were apparently re-fried. They had a darker colour than the other 3 pieces. SKB should not re-fry their stuff. I am sure they would be aware of the adverse effects on health when re-fried.
Indulge in the crispy perfection of Shree Krishna Batata Vada, Dadar's go-to spot for the iconic snack. Elevate your snack experience with their renowned Batata Vada, a culinary delight that has stood the test of time. A must-visit for those craving the authentic flavors of Mumbai street food. #LocalGuide #ShreeKrishnaBatataVada #DadarEats
Famous snacks point at Dadar... Though small place but being snacks point, it's Okay. Many items available, but must try bata vada, sabudana vada, dahi puri, paani puri, samosa etc.... No seating arrangement and gets crowded... Cost is slightly upward compared to street rate, but it's individual decision
One of the oldest food joints in Mumbai that have now expanded into a big place. Their initial signature dish was batata wada which is the most favourite and mostly sold item from this food joint. They serve Batata wada , Kothimbir wadi , Sabudana Wada , South-indian items like dosas , medu wadas , Idli and Uttappams , Chinese items like Noodles , Fried rice ,Manchurian and Chinese bhel , Chat items , Sandwiches and Pizzas ,Frankies and rolls , Dal khichdi , Tawa pulao , Pav bhaji , Puri bhaji , Chole , Potato twisters , momos , cake pasteries and brownies , flavoured sodas and what not. They have almost everything covered here in Pure Vegetarian option . Must visit if you are in and around Dadar. They have a sitting area too along with some tables where you can stand and eat. The quality is top notch. Everything is served in completely hygienic and clean environment .Amongst all the dishes , we love their signature dish i .e The batata wada the most .They donot have Garlic and onion in the wada which makes it eatable for those who wish to eat after a fast.
This establishment specializes in serving delicious hot batatawadas, and it is renowned for its exceptional batatawadas. I would highly recommend starting your meal with a batatawada here and then exploring their other menu offerings. Each plate includes two delectable vadas. As the popularity of fast food items grew, they expanded their menu to include a variety of other fast food items as well.
Local brand with quality food and service. Definitely try their batatawada, perfectly cooked and just amazing in taste. Value for money place. Best palce to have your breakfast. This place is in Dadar West and it takes about 5 minutes to reach here. You need to pay at the counter and get a token for the food items. Also this is one of the few places which provides you with hand wash and drinking water. The place is well maintained and hygienic. Service is quick too and staff is helpful. No parking available. Definitely visit this place. Each menu item costs around 40 to 50 rupees and also be specific if you want to have a plate or just one food item. There is separate section for South Indian food and other food items.
Have been visiting this place for many years. It is one of the most famous spots for bata vadas in Dadar West.
Vada taste does fluctuate but you won't be ever disappointed by it. The size of vada is good but I still feel cost is higher.
Samosas we had were tasty too. It had good size filling compared to what people are serving post lockdown.
One can get sabudana vadas, dahi vadas, kothimbir vadi and kanda bhaji at this place but the place is known for its Batata vadas.
Moong dal bhaji are delicious with chutney and I feel are plenty. They have a great crispy outer coat and a spongy inside.
The establishment itself has expanded a considerably offering many varieties through several sections.
One can eat South Indian delicacies which i feel taste average. There is a section for soft drinks, recommend having kala khata soda.
There are tall tables where you can keep the food and eat while standing.
As this place is famous for its batata Vada and after being a regular customer here it feels like the Vada is just ok because it's too high priced the crust is not at all crispy it's soft and the masala of Vada is just too simple just filled with curry leaves. It's good to try once in a while. There are others snacks to try like dahi wada, Punjabi samosa etc. But the poha samosa was just too weird for me it was sweet in a weird way it was so difficult for me to finish one samosa who makes samosa sweet that too with poha in it . Just a suggestion for you guys add a little bit of spices.
If you have a craving for delicious and steaming Batata Vadas , There might be no place better than Shree Krishna . Situated near Dadar Railway Station, one will always find this location jam packed such is their reputation. Highly Recommended.
This place is located in Dadar, which provides multiple fastfood options in a quality way. The most famous is batata Vada and sabudana vada.
I tried sabudana vada which is Rs 54 plate ( 2 pieces).
You will get varieties of chaat, beverages, vadas, samosa, dosas etc.
Location- Next to Dadar station West.
Pricing - Normal pricing which is worth it.
Always crowdy place , people enjoy the ordered food by standing outside the shop.
Its is maintained neat and hygiene, provided free drinking water and hand wash counters seperately.
You will have to take the coupon , pay money of what you want to order and give the same and counter to get your food.
Highly recommend Sabudhana wada.
Old and Iconic Batata wada very close to Dadar station. Also famous as 'Chabildas cha Wada' Shree Krishna has managed to stay relevant with its dishes and the Batata Wada is still the king! Stiil as good as it was 20 years ago and maintaining that is a big achievement. If you are close to Dadar don't go away without trying this Wada. Although, I think everyone has already tasted this, if you haven't, then do try!
Only worth having here star dishes that are batatawada / poha samosa ..Chaat items are OK..
This small snacks corner is a hidden gem. The variety of snacks they offer is impressive, from crispy Batata Vada, samosas to flavorful bhel puri. Each bite is a burst of authentic taste. The friendly staff and quick service add to the charm, making it a must-visit spot for snack enthusiasts.
Potato vada is best here. Very authentic taste. Only potato vada serve here. No pav or chutney is served with vada. So it's purely vada with mirchi. Lots of other options also here. Like pav bhaji, frankie, samosa.

Batata Vada Is Awesome And Batata Vada Is Hot And They Also Serve Chura's With Vada Pav.
Here's Piyush Or Marathi Mango Lassi Is Also Great And Worth.
Kothimbir Vadi Is Great But The Quantity Is Less For 50 Rupees 8 Kothimbir Vadi The Taste And Quality Is Great But Quantity Is Less.
Service Is Fast And Top-Notch
Atmosphere Is Classy And Station Is 3 Minutes From There.
Hygiene Is Best And No.1
It is one of the oldest and famous shops in dadar. Every dadarkar well known this place. As they provide hygiene foods to the people. It's located just near the dadar west near railway station. At chabbildas road. The traditional vada which makes in good oil and very good in taste. But now they started various shops at locations provide dosas.. Soda pub.. Sandwich.. Pizzas.. Lassi.. Etc other items. Most of time this place is crowded we usually tells friends about it. Price's are also in good range.
If you like hit like button
It's hygienic but prices are bit higher, eg: vadapav 25₹, etc, they had maintained their quality, nearly each and every snack and fast food you will find here, pure Vegetarian
Vadapav is something which any Mumbaikar loves to snack on, no matter how full you are but you still have a little space left for a piping hot Vadapa
I have tasted at hundreds of Vadapav stalls in and around mumbai. This outlet is good but nothing worth remembering about.
I have had much better Vadapavs at smaller stalls which are not as famous as Sri Krishna but surely taste better!
They have other food options like cold pani puri, chaat, ragda patice, aloo tikki and many more.
Looking forward to visit this place soon..
Thnx.
