This is the hot snacks outlet of Kothari sweets and dry fruits.The store has existed since 1960.The store is known for its Punjabi samosa -which has the right punch and a generous filling of potato and green peas.It was piping hot and loved it especially with the date and tamarind chutney.The other green chutney was passable.
The farali kachori was stellar with coconut and potato filling,packed with flavors that appeal to you.
The jalebi was made with desi ghee.Had just the right amount of sweetness and hot and fresh.
Minus points-Lacked the ambience that the other two kothari stores had.They could work on making the store visually inviting and looking more clean.Its always packed ,so you have to grab the attention of the sellers on the counter.They could sell coupons which could make it easier for all.They have to work on the ambience and cleanliness of the overall place.

This place is famous for its yummy kaman dokhla and samosa.
We visited this store during the evening time on last Saturday for some delicious evening snacks.
We ordered one plate of kaman dokhla.
The dokhla was soft and spongy and also had a good taste.
The served quantity is enough for one person.
This kaman dokhla deserves 4/5 review points based on its overall taste and served quantity.
The staff are polite and humble in behaviour.

Very old place I have been visiting this outlet since my childhood... Famous for jalebi, fafda, ghatiya, khandvi, etc... One of my favourite outlet for Gujarati dishes
They serve varieties of snacks like sandwich, dosa, misal pav, vada pav & samosa, Farsan.
I tried their Cheese grill vada pav.
It was absolutely Delicious.
The crispy vada pav is given a twist.
The basic vada pav is grilled to perfection with some chutneys inside it, Later it is topped with red garlic chutney. and grated with cheese & cabbage. It was heaven at every bite!!

They also serve Jain grilled vadapav.
You gotta try it!
They serve various Gujju snacks too.

Good news for all the jain people out there...Now Jain vadapav are available in mulund.Jain Grill Vadapav and samosa pav are a must try dish. Jain grill vadapav costs around ₹35.
This place use to fall on my way to school and I remember having sweets from there😄. Recently they have come up with grilled cheese vada Pav concept which is amazing 😄 it can easily replace veg burgers 😄
This is one of the best Gujarati shop in mumbai known for his Gujarati food like fafda, jalebi, thepala and different types of farsan. papaya chutney they serve with fafda is really awesome. We are regular customer for their fafda and jalebi. They also serve punjabi samosas and maharashtrian vada which are also good along with their farsan ka chutney. Recently they have started chat counters also. overall great taste but 30% costlier than other shops
They serve Mulund's best ever pani puri. Buy the puris from this place in case you are having pani puri at home. Its better than most of places. They have awesome kachori & samosas. This place is full of great street food!

A typical gujju farsan shop(besan and its species) 😂😂. Jokes apart, a place to get best Gujarati farsan items like fafda, dhokla, khakhara ,etc. In winters, they hv their popular Undhiyu,. Still the Punjabi Samosa and Maharashtrian Batata wada are the best in this gujju shop

I don't think anyone makes jalebi fafdas, samosas and upvas kachoris better than these guys in Mumbai. Have been coming here regularly since at least 15 years and everything still tastes the same.

I love most of the things from here... Chole samosa rocks!! Pani puri n all r good when it comes to taste.. But its bit over priced.. So for chaat items there are many places in mulund which has almost similar or better taste than this n cheaper than this..

Kothari sweets is one of the places for superb unhealthy yet tasty breakfast and snacks items. Especially for the gujrati community in mulund West it's a blessing in my opinion.
My encounter wid kothari was due to my CA classes in the vicinity. And my preference was always kothari sweets.
The vada pav and samosa pav are excellent. The size of batata and vada is enuf to fill wid no room in ur tummy. The chutneys to accompany and fried chillies rubbed in chat masala and lemon are just heavenly.
The jalebi and faafda is also my favourite pick along with white dhokla.
Kothari was a blessing for me in those small breaks I GT from classes. Try it out. The service is pretty quick as expected from a fast food shop.
Ahh one of the best food i had ... too much temptating , very tasy , i had dahi kachori and the taste was so yummy it was so so temtating , then i had grill vada pav , vada pav was like ❤❤ , then we had dahi samosa , it was also so yummy , too much temptating food we had !!
A local Mulund place which has been serving delicious snacks and sweets since years now. The samosa is still to die for. They have some excellent Gujrati snacks. I recommend eating Jalebi Fafda. You will come back for it wanting more!
Kothari Sweets, located next to Railway stn, Mulund West - it is the oldest and the best.Myself , my father, mother, brothers alongwith my wife, son and daughter only prefer sweets, farsan, samosa, batawada, pakodas and others it is a long list must say, we are loyal customers since 1970's. The same from other places especially my father and my son & me don't like it.
Its popularity can be known from the people who have been living in Mulund since the 1970's and according to me they still remain loyal customers.

Kothari ka samosa- one word.. It's super delicious and ppl frm othr places visit this place for its samosa. Even a grilled samosa is a delicacy. Rasgulla are soo yummy and fresh. other items are also good. Must visit.
Located right at paanch rasta this place is surrounded by classes and hence always full of kids. All the food stalls outside serve amazing stuff.
Its also very famous for different kinds of sweets , dry fruits and snacks since years. Its a bit expensivr but with no compromise on quality.

Crazy place for people with cravings for quick desi fast food of chat and those lovely sweets.
I do recommend the Bengali sweets and more....Specially the delicate rasgulla and gulab jamun.
These people are quite careful and clean in their preps for the regular chats...so you don't endup with a stomach bug.

Located near Paanch Rasta (Mulund) this place is famous for its best quality Dry Fruits & Fast Food items. I've had the Ultimate Dahi Puri Chaat ever in here. Though this place is a bit expensive that's alright coz you wont complaint about the quality of food.. Some of the other food items one should not miss out on includes Ragda Puri, Pani Puri, Samosas, Dhoklas & Jalebis.
This place definitely deserves a full 5 on 5 rating.
This is one of the best places for be it sweets,chat items,or general goods...a bit expensive though,they never compramise on quality...nice variety of gujju food like khakras,dhoklas are delightful...do try the samosa chat its wrth every penny...the sweets are also gud..

It's a very old eatery joint in Mulund. Famous for its snacks like samosas and faralii kachori. After a very long time I tried their kachoris which could have been better. Samosas were still the same crispy and flavorful. We also packed Kesar shrikhand for Janmashtami pooja. Overall a good place for Indian snacks and sweets. Must visit place!

A really good place for well-made chaat. It has a grocery store attached as well. I usually buy samosas from here. My current favourite is the dahi kachori- bought it twice in 3 days!

It is located at 5 min walking from mulund railway station west. It is situated on the main road. This is one of the oldest shops of mulund. My grandfather used to purchase farsan from here. Till today we have continued to purchase farsan from them. My father is die hard fan of kothari shop. He dose not like to purchase farsan from any other shop other than kothari sweets. They do not have franchise like many other farsan shops. They are unique only to mulund. The taste and quality are top notch. People from far place come here to purchase farsan. They sell many varities of farsans and sweets. They also have small take away counter for customer to stand and eat. The price are high but quality is very good. USP- Khaman Dokla.
