Visited this misal joint few months ago, located near plaza cinema.
They have a good variety of Misal whether it's Kolhapuri, Puneri, malvani or nashik.
Even they have fusion misal such as pani puri misal, even schezwan or cheese misal pav.
Have tried Kolhapuri, pani puri misal and their special tandoori misal.
Pani Puri misal was awesome, a must try.
The Tandoori Misal from The House of Misal is a dish that we all need to try atleast once in our life. We all know that Misal is one of the favourite Food of our State and Mumbai loves it too.
Overhere they have given an unique twist to Misal by adding the charcoal in the matka through which we get the taste of tandoor. Because of which the flavours of the Misal are intensified and it tastes exquisite! The Tari had the correct amount of Spice .
This place is right besides The Plaza Cinema in Dadar West.
We loved that they gave a different twist to a traditional fish but didn't change anything about its original flavours but infact they just took it to another level!
Went there after a shopping spree at Dadar. This is relatively new and serves fusion misal combos:
What we had?
- Tandoori Misal (most eye-catching dish in the menu. At first I thought it would just be another namesake dish. But no the tandoor smoke flavour does come through with the spiciness of the Misal)
- Pani Puri Misal - this fusion dish is just as surprising as it sounds. It's delicious..
- Schezwan Misal : hint of Oriental schezwan kick to a lovely Puneri misal.

Misal is my ultimate favorite, especially when it's extra spicy. This place serves a wide range of misals. I tried the tandoori n the cheese one, both being extremely tasty♥️ it's not a huge space but has decent decor and seating, the service is fast and has complete value for money🤭🥰

This place has a lot of unique varities of misal which is difficult to find somewhere else...we ordered the misal thali which consisted of Kolhapuri misal and puneri misal..the puneri misal didn't exactly match our expectations but it was good..the Kolhapuri misal was very spicy and very delicious, they also serve a garlic chutney which is very spicy but so delicious that you can't stop eating it. We also ordered the kokum sharbat, aam panna, and kharvas which were good. Also the place is very reasonable.

The place is small in the heart of busy Dadar Market, however, it does serve some amazing variety of Misals. I tried the kolhapuri Misal and it was VERY GOOD! The service was a bit slow, but very courteous. The service team was attentive and served with a big smile on their face!! I would love to go back to try my hand at other options available!

Ordered for my wife and her colleagues for lunch last week! She says it was amazing! Everything was just what you'd expect from a misal joint - flavour, punch, quantity - a wholesome meal!
Serving some good quality misal in they way you like, spicy/medium spicy / really really spicyyy, because there is no such option as regular in normal misal!
Good ambiance and some decent seating area, can visit once if you're looking for misal!

A really amazing place for misal pav lovers as this place focuses on special and different varieties of misals. We tried the tandoori misal pav. The taste was really good and we could taste the tandoori flavor till the last bite and the quantity was large enough to share it among two. The solkadi is refreshing and yumm, we really loved it. The place is small but enough to accommodate groups. The service here is very quick and good also the staff is friendly and nice.
This place serves around 21 different varieties of Misal. Its located next to Plaza Cinema near Dadar station. Once you enter the hotel, you are welcomed with aroma of misal curry. We tried out :
1. Kolhapuri Misal - A spicy one served with moong gravy.
2. Tandoori Misal - Comes in earthen pot with smoked coal which gives a distinct smokey taste to the misal. Must try 👍🏻
3. Mumbai Misal - A normal misal which served everywhere in the city
4. Mexican Misal - This is served with nachos but i found it ok.

It is located in the prime location just beside plaza cinema,
It was crowded when we visited the place, waited 10-15min to get a seat.
We ordered
Samosa misal- which tasted good, misal was served hot
Tandoori misal- this tasted something different, served in a pot, it had a smokey flavor.. liked the concept
Pani puri misal- this was an unique concept aswell, but the puri's were Not Crispy at all, otherwise would have been the best one!
Suggestion: moong can be replaced with matar, should keep an option for that.

Their menu consists of types of Misals and usals and the variations are based as would be the highlight if it would be served in that specific city and also the fusion dishes variety.
In frame – Tandoori missal, tacos missal, aam panha and kharwas.
1) Tandoori missal: The missal is served with farsan in a small matka in which there is a bowl of charcoal kept for that smokey effect. The missal is on the spicy side, but it is a perfect combination of blended spices, which add in to the delicious taste. The primary ingredient is matki, which is properly cooked and being a sprout also adds up to the whole nutritious value of the Dish. Also served 2 Pavs, chopped onions, lemon all these additions complement the original taste even better.
2) tacos missal(5/5): This is surprisingly amazing fusion with the tacos stuffed with onions, tomatoes, cabbages and matki all in schezwan sauce. The tari is given separately which can be poured on these tacos and enjoyed. An amazing concept to try on.
3) aam panha - this is traditional raw mango drink having that sweet and tangy taste of kairi in it.
4) kharwas - this is again a traditional sweet dish which is quite similar to the malai and is creamy. Perfectly apt after having the spicy missal. Definitely try this

Final verdict, this great and delicious effort to provide variations to the humble and simple Misal, keeping its basic essence and authenticity intact. The proportion of food portion is excellent and so is the quality. The misal tastes delicious and overall it is a thumbs up experience and would definitely like to try the other variants as well.

Recently i went to this place called House of Misal it has 40 types of Misal! The place has ample seating area and serves various Misal along with fusion flavours as well as original ones.My personal favourite was the Tandoori misal
Tandoori misal's gravy was thick as Kolhapuri but farsan had tandoor flavour it was bit smoky as it is tandoori misal...if you like smoky flavour then go for it...it has bit of ghee flavour to farsan where each one of them had their own masala which made all the difference for me! I also tried the Tacos Misal and Misal Panipuri which was so balanced on spices also kokam sharbat and lassi and would recommend them to people who cannot tolerate a high spice level.
The best thing is the taste of each is so unique & so damn tempting!
Misals were truly exceptional. Each misal lived up to its name, although only to a certain extent. A good choice for a lazy visit or even lunch with friends.

Pani puri gol gappe is our all time favourite but this misal pani puri is something different you would be getting puri stuffing would be the misal & rassa with meeta chutney

The house of misal is an amazing place to have misal. You will get 18+ varieties of Misal's here. I saw this on the page of crurly tales then I decided to visit & give it a try. This place is always crowdy, you will have to take a coupon in advance, to get your tables.
We tried :
1) Tandoori Misal : It is their special misal. That smokey flavour is so good & they serve in clay pot. This misal is the world's best misal, one can probably say. MUST TRY
2) Pani Puri Misal : It serves 8 puri in a plate. This is a new concept in misal that I have never seen before. The rassa was spicy & tasty too. The puri's were filled with potatoes, sprouts, chutney and shev.
Worth a visit & definitely a pocket friendly place.

Visited this place on a perfect evening to grab a quick snack.. Ended up having my tummy full with yummy missal pav.
This place offers a basic seating space.. Approx 30 people can be accomadated inside.. Larger groups would probably not get a single table but will have to split & sit.
The menu is superb with varieties of missals at super affordable rates.. Mostly below 100rs

The house of misal is a great place to have unique trendy and amazing misal. It is very near to Dadar station, near plaza cinema. They have a variety of misal from Mexican, Manchurian, tandoori, panipuri, Kolhapur and various others. The price range is from 45,65, 100. The coordination between the staff was not so proper. My order was placed somewhere else. Overall the taste was amazing, I loved this concept. The Mexican misal was quite tangy and the Manchurian one was very spicy and I liked it more. We also had kharwas, sitaphal rabdi, kokum sherbet, and aampana. Beverages were rich in taste and light after the wholesome misal😍
Believe it or not, the Schezwan Misal is the Bomb! Also try the Tikka Misal, very different, but interesting. It's a small place, but lovely food, and a some extremely spicy red chutney! Definitely give it a visit.

Its a small place, perfect for a quick bite. It is popular among the people. They have a lot of varieties of misal including pani puri misal, Schezwan Misal, and all other types of misals from particular areas of Maharashtra. We tried the Puneri, Kolhapuri and Tandoori misal. The puneri was not my favourite as there was alot of farsan and very little misal which makes it soggy and it wasn't spicy at all. The Kolhapuri was very spicy and tasty and so was the tandoori but the tandoori misal was not worth the hype.
Prices are actually very reasonable for eg. the price of mumbai misal, puneri misal kolhapuri misal is just ₹50 and they taste really good. Also the service is pretty decent.

This places serves varities of Misal Pav ans is usually crowded due to this dish being quite popular in this part of Mumbai.
It is located just opposite to Sena Bhavan and very near to Dadar Railway Station as well.
They say that the Tandoori Misal is their speciality so we ordered that. Also we ordered Nashik Misal which is Matki Misal which was a good. Also Kolhapuri Misal was spicy and tasted really good.
Also they serves various beverages like Solkadhi, Piyush, Chaas, Aam Panna, Kharwas etc and moderate rates. A good place to visit!!!
Small place just adjacent to Plaza Cinema in Dadar. As the name suggest, one should come here if he/she is a misal fanatic. They have quite a variety on the menu. We tried the coal smokey infused one(tandoori), puneri & mumbai one. Each had a unique distinct flavor. The pavs are soft. We even ordered buttermilk and kokum serbet both of which were delightful. After having food, we did not feel heavy as one often feels. This is a good indication the the food served is fresh and cooked with good ingredients. The seating area is limited so one might need to wait. However, this is worth the wait. Alternately one can always take a parcel. Do is this if you are into misal. Highly recommended.
