This restaurant is at Shirin Shopping Centre, 2nd Floor, McDonald, Near Railway Station, Andheri West.
The speciality of this place is Gujarati thali. One can taste the aromatic and mouth-watering Gujarati gastronomy which comes out of their kitchen. They promise to bring the tang of delectableness in every bite you take. The unlimited spread of Gujarati thali is the perfect definition of grand feast. The food was hot, fresh and diverse served unlimited farsans, main course and desert.
It is Pocket-friendly. Apart from fine dining they also offer, tiffin and catering services for lavish occasions. The service is very prompt. It's not a fine restaurant but the food is superb and serving is unlimited.

30-40% lesser thali price i ever seen
Yesterday i went for dinner here. You may get confused because there another restaurant naming laxmi prasana. You have follow a narrow lane to reach this place. Its a typical unlimited gujurati style thali. Food was good . Staff are very polite and friendly. Basundi was yummy. But i didn't like one thing they don't accept card which was quiet suprise for me to here today. Overall it was a good meal.
Vegetarian Thalis do keep you happy and this place is no less... Have been coming here for a while and feel good for the price paid... Friendly staff who want to keep feeding and feeding you with everything they have... Quick on toes service and decent tasting food leaves you with a smile...
Delicious and healthy thali, located inside a web of shop. The food was hot, fresh and diverse and is also pocket friendly. They serve two type of farsan, surti dal, one dry vegetable, two vegetable with gravy, gatte ki sabzi, kadi, tikha dal, dal bati (which is my favorite), two type of dessert (specially unlimited aamras), salad, papad, roti and puri. The service is very prompt. It's not a fine restaurant but the food is superb and serving is unlimited.
For 260/- per head, an unlimited gujurati veg thali is a good deal! We used to frequent this place a lot when I was a kid, and I enjoyed coming here again! The ambience is basic but with clean surroundings. Kind of gives an Udipi restaurant feel. They'll start serving you at your table almost immediately. 4 types of vegetables - from the menu, the bhindi and the lauki were my favourite for the day. You can also choose amongst a sweet or a spicy dal. The portions seem small initially, but I was stuffed by the end of the first helping only :P The food is a little too @sweet for my taste buds, and a general question for authentic gujurati cuisine - do you make most of your dishes sweet? But thumbs up to my re-experience!

Near Andheri station Laxmi Gujrati thali serves good authentic Wholesome food. All vegetables are perfect in taste. Also the deserts three in number was excellent with the special thali. The cost of special thali is 520 rupees but it is worth.Fresh fruit salad with Shrikhand is highly recommended. All in all very good food experience. We had ordered it to our place.
I've eaten in Gujarat, and this is better than anything I had there. Highly recommended!
I really enjoyed myself. Hats off to the chef. Yummy!
went with my mum to have authentic gujarati thali..was an ok experience..kesar basundi was good...gujarati kadhi authentic...salad was good authentic..buttermilk could have been better...mung sabzi was ordinary...with ordinary aaloo..paneer sabji was good...dal chawal was simple..service was ok ..could have been better
Authentic Gujarati cuisine is served with varieties. Those who have good appetite can enjoy the unlimited meals. Its a paisa vasool for sure.
I have been craving for authentic Gujrati food was for so long and finally when I'm Mumbai I had a chance to visit this place. The place is near Andheri railway station located on second floor near apple
plus store.
Shree Lakshmi restaurant serves you authentic Gujrati thalis with different menu for every day.
Ordered: unlimited Thali and limited thali.
Thali included : dal ,parvel masala, dhokla, sheermal, kadhi, spicy tomato curry, aloo tomato curry, chapattis and puri and butter milk.
All the items were just perfect. Authentic Gujrati food. Couldn't eat the fafda, khandvi, thepla as it was not on that days menu.
This place is a must go if you love Gujrati food.
I had taken special lunch parcel for 2.
It was very tasty. Had large quantities of everything that you get if you had the food in the Restraunt.
Not a super awesome deliciously finger licking good gujarati food - but the best yet in mumbai - their saturday menu - with sweets comprising of puran poli, gajar halwa and gujarati milk based fruit salad is the most value for money meal I have had in Mumbai.
A full thaloi, for which restaurants like maharaja bhog, rajdhani thali etc charge over 450, the Laxmi charges you 250, and the service is too good... not exotic place, but super filling with super nice hospitality
Grabbed a parcel.... Delight for Gujarati food lovers.... Nice food with good amount of quantity..... Must try for people looking forward to try typical Gujarati food.....
Value for money thali restaurant.Service is quick,Food taste is ordinary, but way better than Rajdhani.Worth visiting once,Gud service offered in less time.
Absolute Paisa vasul..value for money..no frills authentic Gujarati food..sweet kadhi is my favorite..do visit for a sumptuous meal easy on pocket..
I went today for lunch I was surprise with the quality of food.
On weekdays full thali cost about 220rs & on weekend and holidays it cost about 260rs.
It was fully Ac hall with capacity with about 42 peoples.
Staff were very friendly and helpful.
If we go for customise thali it will cost around 350rs.
Only I would say 'BEST GUJURATI THALI RESTAURANT' in Andheri West area
When ever you do not want to eat too spicy oily but want to fill your stomach and want to go out too... this is the place.. EXCELLENT taste its light, no fanciness, unlimited, your stomach will not feel heavy and the best part you dont have to spend 700-1000 for one thali. its just 200/- and week end 250/- Its the best place to eat shanti se satwik khana.
One extra point and extra mention to staff who are giving such a good service for last 3 year (from the time i am going) MUST GO...
Goodly- this is the cheapest and in that price the best veg thali u can have near andheri West or nearby...typical family restaurant kind of ambiance...so much food to eat!...looks like a light version of Rajdhani restaurant....they also have small packages for office going people.
Badly- the Buttermilk which u get with thali is not good...that's the only thing i generally leave after one sip :P
Suggestion- Pls allow pay via card option..it would be very helpful :D
On a Sunday i decided to try something different then our usual routine and landed up at this small joint. it was unbelievably packed on a Sunday, had to wait for half an hr to get a place to sit. But the wait was worth it..the food was yumm..made of pure ghee and was served hot. Service was good..very well maintained and clean place. Recomended!!!
Good food and value for money restaurant. Those who like Gujarati thali must go to this place. Its bang oppn to Andheri west stn, this may cause some parking issues. But worth the effort
All food lovers of Gujarati Thali should surely give this a try once. Located close by to the Andheri West station, its based in a shopping complex on the second floor.
Seating capacity for about 30-40 pax and is fully air conditioned. Just like a typicqal Gujarati thali the list of items served is impressive. Taste is also good.
It cost around Rs 220 for an unlimited thali if opted on a week day and Rs 260 if opted for a weekend.

I love eating at Thaali joints ☺
Rajdhani, Maharaja Bhog, Panchavati Gaurav – have been to all these places but I prefer Shree Laxmi Gujarati Thali. Located opposite Andheri Station in the west, this is a small little place inside the shopping complex. The approach to this place is a little tacky as you have walk in-between shops. The big signboard is a good help to know exactly which lane to enter.
Take the stairs to the 1st floor & you will finally enter Shree Laxmi Gujarati Thali. Extremely basic seating with a setup of 6 people per table. The big steel thali with empty katori’s welcome you to the table. Every table has a 4 bowl traditional serving vessel which has – a basic cucumber & tomato salad, pickle, mint green chutney & the red tamarind chutney. Choose between a limited & unlimited thali option.
Once decided, the service begins. 1st they start with the Farsan – dhokla, potli samosa & papdi chaat. They usually have 4 vegetables – we were served bhindi, paneer & capsicum, black chana & traditional aloo-tamatar rasaa. Next comes dal & kadhi. Dal are of 2 types – meethi & tikhi. Kadhi is the traditional gujarati kadhi which I love. Next comes phulka, puri. Desserts included – aamras, sheera & puranpoli. Rice you can choose from plain white rice or khichadi/masala rice/pulao, etc. Khichadi is loaded with ghee when served ☺
The food according to me simple, flavourful and very close to home-food. The menu changes everyday & they include the season’s special like undhiyu in their menu.
Service is great & an absolute value for money.
Food – 9/10

One of the best Gujarati Thali in reasonable price. Weekdays its RS 220 per person and on weekends its RS 260 per person but definitely on weekends there will be more variety of food. For menu you can call them and they will let you know, bcoz on daily basis they keep on changing it! Taste is superb and it's like proper home made food not too oily and not with too many spices.
Staff is good they will serve you well. And ya it's again unlimited food. And ya they keep one seasonal item as well like now it's summer season starting so you have the favourite Aam Ras! Njyyy..
Near to station
Best place 4 veg lover
Cool management
Taste to toh mast bt rate b mast hai so really enjoyed thali food
Must visit wid family to have some veg taste
One of the very few places in Andheri West for a Decent Gujarati thali. Not that great but sure do visit if you are in mood for some heavy Gujarati food. The service is above average. The ambiance is also decent. The food was hot and fresh. Its a one time visit for me.
Undoubtedly the most satisfying thali I have had till date, better than the Maharaja Bhogs and the Panchavati Gauravs. Visited on a Saturday afternoon to find not much crowded. I must say the preparation was simple and to the core, with my 7 yr old who is otherwise a hardcore non veg, savouring the Dal Bati and the Gatte ki sabzi. The ambience is simple and the service is on the mark. All the best.
The thali was just too awesome. The service was also very quick. Surely a place to keep visiting again n again when someone's in a gluttonous mood. ????
Superb gujarati thalii...loved the service as well..
Go to the bylanes and there you will find this popular and crowded restaurant on the first floor. Their gujrati thali is just amazing. Though I must confess that not all the preparations were that good, but some of them were outstanding, especially their kadhi and aamras as an assortment.
2030 hours, 15th July 2014, Tuesday:
A no frills Gujarati Thali restaurant, located bang outside Andheri Station - West. Fancy, but not ornate.
The approach way to this place is slightly complicated, you have to traverse a passage nooked between two of the various retail outlets jostling with each other on the busy station road. And then, at the end, you have to climb up on the first floor.
The food is the staple Gujarati fare. Dahi kadi. Teekhi dal. Sweet dal. Chapattis. Puris. Biscuit rotis. Dal kachoris. Dhoklas. Papads. Chawli usal. Aaloo mutter tamatar. Papi methra. Veg Korma. Dal khichdi. Chhaas. Gulab jamun. Kesari shrikhand.
Pure. Healthy. Uncorrupted. Low on compromises. Well done.
The only thing that one can find fault here is the extra service. The servers are so capable and alert that they don't let a single opportunity pass for serving.
The ratings, they go like this:

Have stayed in Andheri for so many year but never knew that this place existed so close to the station and my house! Had gone with my family to have a Gujarati thali with least expectations. I have to admit it that I was completely floored by the food and the service! Each food item was authentic, fresh and tasty! The service too was great! before you could finish a hot ghee dipped Chapati, they would get you another one!
Over all very satisfied with our experience!
Excellent ambience. Very homely, un corrupted good, serving is done with love and attention to detail.
Rajwadi Gujarati Thali is the newer version of old Laxmi Gujarati Thali which re-opened on 26th Jan 2020. While the place remains the same as old one, only the name has changed and thali has been slightly upgraded. Its neither too spicy nor oily which is the best part. Ambience, service, food is good as always but one major benefit of Rajwadi Gujarati Thali is that it is the only unlimited thali restaurant located in station area just outside Andheri West station. As Andheri is the only railway station in Mumbai which is directly connected to western, central and harbour all 3 railway lines, the unlimited thali proves to be an ideal option for hungry commuters. The menu during my visit was as below:-
4 Veg subzis: Gujarati Undhiyu, Bhindi masala, Usal and Dum aloo
2 Sweets: Moong dal halwa, strawberry basundi
2 Farsans: Moong bhajiya, dhokla
Other items: Dal, kadhi, plain rice, green peas pulao, chapati, puri, papad, salad, pickles, chutney and butter milk. All unlimited.
On Sat- Sun and public holidays, they have deluxe thali which is of higher price with 2-3 extra items while from Mon to Fri they offer a normal thali. Rates are slightly high but it is affordable compared to other thali joints in Mumbai.
Me and my son very often eat at this place and we just love it. Its a small place hence has a homely touch and receive quick service, don't have to wait for the next serve.. We like the dishes too, the sweet, the veggies not very oily and sticky as other Gujarati restaurants...Also very reasonable at cost.
It'd located inside a cobweb of shops. At 8 we happened to be the only guests. The food was hot, fresh and diverse. Make sure you visit on weekends as they have a different menu from Friday to Sundays.
Only bad thing, the washroom had some terrible stench.
Lovely food... Perfectly worth the money you are paying and of course considering the limitation of space one has to bear with the staff limitation as well... Superb... Will surely visit again
