I happened to visit this place for an 'unplanned dinner'....and I would say that the overall experience was good. The food which we tried was:
1. Chicken Schezwan Tandoori: was indeed really juicy and tasty...a must try!
2. Chicken Triple Rice: Was good...but could have been a little more spicy!

It is a Nice place for Lunch. They have good place for sitting and have good food variety for Vegeterians and Non-Vegetarians. We order Dal and Rice. Which was sufficient for 2 people. They served hot and fresh food. We had Paneer Bhurji with Hot Rotis served on the spot. They serve chopped onions and Pickle with every dish. It is a place recommended to everyone. They have good sufficient staff for service and have maintained hygiene in Kitchen too.

Been there with friends on two occasions. So you already would guess the place is a must visit. Had some light snacks... Veg cheese sandwiches, which were indeed crunchy and cheesy.. Yummy 😋. On the second occasion, met up with my friend recently, after a year at Andheri West. We were so hungry that we just wanted to fill our tummy. So we selected Cafe Alfa, which was the both agreed on. I had already been there previously, but it was just for some light snacks. This time wanted to have a good fill.. Lunch. Had to wait for some time as the place was full. Once we got a table, quickly ordered butter naan, which was good and Bhuna Ghosht. The ghosht was tasty. Only disappointment and surprise was that they didn't have watermelon juice. Only option was pineapple juice or sweet lime juice (mosambi juice) . So, my friend opted for the sweet lime juice. All in all a very good place to hang out with friends. Ambience is good, very good cleanliness, the owner and the staff very polite. I'd definitely recommend a visit and a revisit 👍
Great dine at cafe alfa, so i recently visited this place. Its a family restaurant which serves some amazing food. The place is bit small the dining table could be more bigger rest is amazing...... Talking about the food ....Starting with the best we had a some awesome starters chicken crispy and panner starter! I would suggest one should try this whenever the visit this place alfa spcl the dragon. It is served with some amazing cravy and bone and boneless chicken and topped with boiled egg we had it with tandoori roti talking about the veg main course its just great! Well a little nostalgic writing a review for this one, cos I have been visiting this restaurant since I was a child. Well nothing has changed over a period of time in terms of infrastructure, but the quality of food remains the same. A restaurant serving typical moghlai food with great taste. Food Tip - Try the Alfa Diet dish, great quantity, should easily serve 4 ppl.

The chicken manchow soup was delicious with perfect amount of spices and was served hot. There were moderate amount of chicken pieces and it was worth the price.
Prawns chilly dry was not what i expected it to be. Prawns didn't seem fresh and my taste buds literally didn't liked it after the soup.
I specially came to Alfa to have their masala prawns... for those who come here please do try it out...
Coming to the food I had a mixed non veg platter , prawns chilli ,Mutton Biryani , Naan,Royal Falooda and Kulfi Falooda . I have come here many times and I must say there is no change in the taste of the food till date 😊

This is one of the oldest hotels around Andheri West. Used to visit the place a lot during college times with friends.
The place is clean and airy, with regular whisps of the aroma of tandoori chicken being grilled, thats carried around in the air, and makes one crave to eat some. The tandoori served here is absolutely moist, well cooked, and delicious, with the right amount of spices and flavours.
The biryanis served here are also flavoursome and delicious.
The hotel serves Chinese as well as Moghlai cuisines and dishes of both are absolutely yummy.
After shopping in the hot sun, dropping in for a Fresh lime soda, and munching on some of their sandwiches provides refreshing energy.

If you are a foodie and really don't care about bigger ambience must visit to this place. My favourite from this restaurant are chicken schezwan lollipop,tandoori lollipop, hariyali & pahadi Tikkas. Chicken laziz in main course. In dessert ofcourse their caramel custard. It's total budget friendly place.
For delivery: I cannot rate them because all the times I have requested for food delivery they would ask your entire order and later tell you they cannot deliver at your address.
Excellent hangout for Irani style of food. Quick on home delivery also. The quality is maintained since years . You can bilindly offer them to extra star for their service and courtesy staff.

Heavenly place for a non vegetarian lovers like me!
I had butter naan, stuffed garlic naan, chicken curry, kadhai paneer and masala papad. The quantity offered by them was very good, the taste was spot on. However the service seemed a little slow, probably because of the huge crowd that this place caters to!
I also had chicken biryani. It was palatable, was served with small bowls of raita.

The most amazing Mughlai food! You should ask the staff for the special of the day and order accordingly. Roti Sabzi and Starters should be your go-to at this place. I've tried lots of varieties and would recommend the Chicken Afghani Tikka, Chicken Lazeez gravy, Butter Garlic Naan, Pudina Paratha, Chicken Platter.
Ambiance & Service (3/5):
It has a non AC area on the ground floor and an AC seating area on the 1st floor. The ambiance is very basic and infact the AC area has a "watch-your-head" issue but worth adjusting for the food Served. The staff is extremely friendly and hospitable.

I've been going to this place many times. It's bang opposite to Nelco a shopping place. So whenever my family goes shopping we tend to be here. The food over here is quite good.

Some of the starters that I remember having over here. The presentation is not good. They present the food in the most normal way. No uniqueness, but the taste is quite good.
Butter chicken: The gravy was pretty food. Not very sweet and not completely bland. It had a proper taste. Would recommend it.
Mutton Biryani: One of my favorites over here and something many people come here to have. The Mutton quality is pretty good and the biryani on the whole is a pretty amazing dish.
Dessert:
Triple Sundae: It looks good. The only dish over here that looks presentable. Tasted good too. End your meal with this dish If you like icecreams.
Kulfi Falooda: Another dessert variety, tasted amazing. Would recommend it.
On the whole it's a decent place. The staff was well behaved, they also have upstairs seating.

I have been visiting this restaurant for over 5 years. It's mostly been dinner at this restaurant and lots of takeaways. There are both sections in this restaurant. The non-ac, ample of space. There are two ac sections, one of them is smaller compared to the other one. It's always crowded in this restaurant, but waiting time is hardly 5 to 10 mins. They do provide have valet parking. I had ordered Butter Chicken and Chicken mix tikka. Both of them are simply delightful as always and my fav dishes. It's a must visit place and try their special dishes of the day.
This is the most pocket friendly place which offers Chinese as well as moghlai cuisine.. V ordered the chicken crispy.. As always it was really amazing.. But garlic chicken turned out to b sweet n i really did not like tht taste.. Fried rice was little less in quantity.. Over all its a nice place to visit..!
Cafe Alfa is indeed a complete package restaurant with a wide range of dishes from Chinese to Punjabi to mughlai with great taste and quantity.Their starters,butter chicken and biryani are my favourite. Chicken crispy and triple rice are the Chinese dishes I tried here and they were delicious. Soups are also very savouring. Love this place.

Ordered the chicken biriyani, reshmi kebab and butter paratha with kadai chicken.
The reshmi kebab was served quickly and was flavorful but a tad bit dry. Chicken biriyani was excellent. Lots of flavor from the masala and the chicken pieces but does not come with an egg (if that's your thing).
Butter paratha had a LOT of butter but was soft and tasty. The kadai chicken was spicy and tangy but I wished it had some more actual chicken in it. The gravy was to die for too.

I was visiting this restaurant after a decade. It's humble, sort of clean decor and good mughalai food. Try their butter chicken if you are craving tasty, slightly sweet and spicy and smoky tandoori shredded chicken. I found that the best item ordered that day. Also tried their bhuna Ghosht and prawn masala. I read prawn masala being recommended on quite a few reviews on Zomato. Next time I would pass. Chicken biryani is mildly spiced, less masala and oil. Staff and service is prompt. I will be back for some more and more butter chicken!!

First heard about this outlet way back in 2010 and visited them only yesterday.
They have 2 sections, Non AC on ground and AC on first floor. Really difficult to wrest a table in the AC section. 4-5 groups are always in queue to grab a seat upstairs. Since we were terribly hungry, grabbed the table downstairs.
We ordered Chicken Chaat, tandoori, brain masala and rotis.
Chicken chaat was cold. Terrible mix of large pieces of potatoes, tomatoes and onions with a few random chunks of chicken. The green chilli and tamarind paste did impart it a tangy and spicy taste but the punch was missing.
1/2 Chicken tandoori had two big pieces equivalent to a toddler's arms perfectly smoked but the distinctiveness was altogether missing. The chutney shared with it had a small insect in it too :(
The surprise package of the day was Brain Masala. My first date with it and I was completely bowled over by its taste, presentation and quality.
At under 500 bucks, this place is quite a bargain. Good news - they didn't levy GST ;)

One of the Best Non Vegan option for all those who are staying near Andheri West region. First of all, there are very few restaurants that serve non veg without alcohol. I mean its not a bar and restaurant types, its a proper family dining resto that serves delicious Non Veg cuisine. Whenever we visit this place, we order Brain Masala. By far the best I have tasted compared to all other places. Alfa also serves fantastic prawns masala. Usually such place should have impressed me by its Biryani, however its my personal opnion - Chicken Pulao tasted lot better than Chicken Biryani. I would rate 4.5 only becausr of their less satisfactory biryani. Otherwise it is the best option for full course non vegetarian food.

I am in love with their chicken crispy, but when i visited the place at around 6pm, they did not have it on their menu so i was quiet disappointed.
