Excellent service, food, taste n quality. Consistency in all above.
Exclusive dishes n variety of chai.
Brilliant desi Chai in traditional clay cups but also a wide selection of other teas all for just 25-35Rs - and a great snack menu. Super friendly, great decor and fast service. Definitely somewhere to check out if you're in Fort, hope they open in Powai soon!
Chai ka maza khoob, apno ke saath bahut khoob!
Super cute ambience! Amazing taste ! Loved it
Happend to be on Fort Side today, it started raining suddenly and chai was the need, foud this small place on Zomato.
It's a very small eat out with awesome and quirky decor with quotes all over, everything they serve is fresh and tastes good. We tried cheese burst toast, cheese maggi, Bombay Sandwich and of course chai...
Chai is the highlight of this place, it was too good and perfect for season. We were seated in ourcar and food was served to us in our car... Though service was very quick and prompt.

On #InternationalTeaDay, here's our favourite go-to place for some Kadak Kullad Chai ☕ at our very own @rajukichai that is situated in the bylanes of Fort. "Dekho Magar Pyaar Se" as their perfect tag line, this place is a must visit for some after office hours chai and gossip or a rainy day with some friends, chai and bun maska. With a quirky interior filled with quotes, this joint also serves lipsmacking pizzas, Maggi, sandwiches and fries! ☕🍕🥪🍟

went for Samosa s/w and khullad chai, superb taste and lovely service, highly recommended
Ordered for veg grilled sandwich and nimbuwaali chai (Lemon Tea). The owner who was friendly informed me that there is a smaller version of the grilled sandwich available which costed Rs 85. The taste was good and it was served with tomato sauce and two chutneys, out of which the green chutney was very spicy.Later had the lemon tea.Overall its a nice place with dine in available however due to COVID, it was kept closed.Parking may be ittle diffcult to get
Varieties of Tea in different taste & maska bun
The place is small but lovely. Funny quotes framed & hanged on the wall
Must visit ! Chai lover will loved it alot
Raju ki chai as the name goes is very famous for its chai. The decor is quite unique and eye catching.

🔸 🔸 Raju ki Chai 🔸 🔸
RKC viz Raju ki Chai is cute small tea joint situated in one of the bylanes at Fort area, Mumbai. The fort area of Mumbai is surrounded by big and small offices like BMC office, Banks, LIC office. So, if you want refresh yourself by sipping in some kadak Kullad chai or cutting chai during the office hours or after office then surely Raju ki Chai will strike your mind. Raju ki chai is one pocket friendly tea joints available in one of the bylanes of Fort area.
One lazy Friday evening after office work, I was returning to my place and I was searching for a good tea joint and I came across this tea joint. A bright yellow colourful board which said Raju Ki Chai (RKC)! Personally, I am a big-time tea person! So, thought of checking into the place and as I love trying out cutting chai at various tea stalls in Mumbai. The tag line of Raju ki Chai is “Piyo magar pyaar se “that made fall in love with this amazing cute little tea joint. RJK even serves Sandwiches, Pizzas, Buns, Maggi, Fries along with Chai with milk and without milk!
📍 Location: This cute little tea joint is located at Cawasji Patel Street, Fort, Mumbai. It is situated in one of the bylanes of the Fort area in a corner of a street.
▶ Ambiance/Décor: The ambience of the place is nice, and it is a perfect tea joint for friends to hang out with after office or between office hours. The decor of the place is cool with great quotes to keep you talking as you sip your Kullhad chai along with some buns and sandwich. The place has rich vibrant colours on its wall, with funny quotes. Has I love Mumbai, I love India written on various places. I could feel the buzz with the amount of walk-in the place had. There were quotes on the stools as well. This place has limited seating as there were benches and some stools kept just outside the joint. The place is generally crowded with people during the evening hours of the day. The service of the place is quite quick as well.
📌Along with Chai this place offer variety of lip-smacking snacks like buns, sandwiches, french-fries, pizzas and Maggi. On my recent visit to this place, I opted for some Kullad chai and sandwiches 🔸
🔸 Beverages
⚜️ Kesari chai- The RKC Kesari Special Chai was served in Kullad! Chai was sprinkled generously with saffron! I personally loved the chai! - fantastic combination of Saffron, Ginger, Tea Masala and Cardamom! U should try this Special chai if u visit here. You can also RKC Special as well another option in chai.
🔸 Snacks
⚜️ Mumbai Street Sandwich- A super filling sandwich loaded with cheese on top served with chutneys and ketchup. Quite different from the Grilled Sandwich which you have in Mumbai. You can also try other options in Sandwiches like Melting Grilled Sandwich or Raju’s Dhamaka Grilled Sandwich.
💰 Pocket pinch: - This place is indeed pocket friendly. Pinch for two is ₹ 100 - ₹ 200.
▶Overall: - Overall, I was quite impressed with the place and they have been so effective with just basic menu. They do serve lot of Kullad chai and snacks to a lot of offices in and around Fort! Kudos to this place for being so successful in a very short time. Do pay a visit to this place for a sup of Kullad chai, you won't regret. Recommended place to all 💕
If you are a huge chai lover i will highly recommend you guyz to visit this place it has one of the best kesari masala chai. I visited this place quite some time back before this pandemic took place. The thing i love most about this place is the desi feel they have in their ambience or food. I also tried their Mumbai Misal Maggi i just love it. Because maggi and garma garam masala chai is the best combination. They also have yumm milkshakes i love their oreo milkshake .I would recommend you to visit this place for sure. It is little over priced not so friendly to your budget. But you should give it a try for their service, food and ambience.I will put down my ratings for you and do visit!! And share us your pictures at @desi_chulaa (Instagram page).

We tried : Super Spicy Maggi, RKC Special Chai
The chai was super flavourful, one of the best chai I have had, the maggi was super spicy and delicious but they could have reduced the content of chillies and added more spicies to make u feel that burn, but it was really very good!! Must try
what a tea I loved it my frnds too enjoyed it I will surely come there and the bun was so soft that I couldn't resist to eat the 2 one
Perfect for chai and fast food ...
Place serve sandwiches, various flavour of chai, Maggie, pizza and much more.

The best place for a nice chai. I would recommend the Lemon tea if you dont like milk teas. It is the best ever.
The Bombay Junkets visited Raju ki Chai and tried their RKC Special Maggi, RKC Special Chai, Black Coffee and Nutella Toast.
Everything was super delicious and quite reasonable.
Hidden in the lanes of Fort, this place is always crowded.
Definitely recommended from our side.

AMBIENCE
Tiny little vibrant place that's pocket friendly and offers yummy small bites to go with the Chai. Seating space is limited and quite basic but the variety of teas, bun maska, Maggie make up for it.
What did I ❤️-
✔️✔️✔️ Kesari Chai
Loved the kesar floating on the the top of Kulhad and the flavor that added more warmth to the Chai.
#MustHave
✔️✔️Ginger Lemon Honey
This tea without milk, is perfect for a chilled winter night.Works magic for your throat, especially if you have cold.
✔️✔️✔️ Aloo Bomb 🤯
Fried potato stuffed with spiced Mayo and bell peppers, topped with sev. Served alongside green chutney this unusual snack made my day.
#Yummy
✔️Garlic Chilly Maggi
Maggie with any combination can't go wrong. Besides, this place has some unique options to choose from.
This place is a hot spot for late evening chilling with some friends.
I ordered chai one fine day since I was too lazy to cook at all, and I am so impressed with Raju ki Chai for sending the best chai and in the cutest way possible. I mean look at the way they have sent me the kulhads with in the packaging with this airtight box. I must say they have literally touched my heart this time. Also the RKC special chai is a must try!!!
You know where to go Chai lovers!❤️
Hidden in the lane of fort. Rajukichai is the good place for chai specially in moonsoon. Colourful road side tapri. Must go and try tea of your choice..
The Rkc special and Elaichi chai are the best!
Taste is even better because of the kulhad which gives more taste to chai! One of the good places to have chai in South Mumbai

Our Review: 4.5 / 5
Hidden in the lanes of the fort @rajukichai is an unconventional yet a cool place for chai especially in the monsoons. The ambiance of this place is designed to feel the nostalgia of a roadside tapri but in an urban formats i.e. the materials, floor finishes, wall finishes, colours and art are more local and Indian. Coming to food, they are known to serve the basic Adrak Chai, the infamous Chocolate Tea and turmeric tea. You can even try their steaming chai with their famous Ulta Pizza and Potato Twisters. The place is also famous for maggi. We did manage to try “Bahubali Pizza”, “Ladakhi Coffee” and “saffron tea” and we would totally recommend them with closed eyes. The servings are very fresh, also the service is good. Overall this place is a perfect spot to head to when you want to have a good time with your friends over tea and some snacks. Try the soothing kesari special chai , or the adrak and lemongrass version, and you'll understand their motto: 'Piyo magar pyaar se' .

Definitely the best chai and bun maska in town.
I have been here for like umpteen times. Kesar chai is too too good. Must try. A small place to hang out with your friends and have a best cup of tea
Raju ki Chai offers funky, colorful and quirky decor with their famous kulhad chai! It’s situated in Fort and is known for their varieties of chai served in kulhad and other munchies.
We tried their Classic Maggi, Veg Maggi, Chipotle fries and RKC Special Chai.
This pocket-friendly place is a must try if you are strolling around fort.
Raju Ki Chai is located near to the Yazdani Bakery in Fort. It’s a heaven place for Chai lovers. The prices are pocket friendly. The Chai’s are served in Kullads and are piping hot and are absolutely refreshing. Kesar Masala chai and Elachi chai are a Must try.
This place is easy on pocket and the dishes served are just wow. We had honey ginger tea as it was raining and pizza puchkas which were slightly above average but cheese garlic bread was delicious and the chutney along with it was amazing.

A small place located within the busy streets of SoBo. The interiors of the outlet have a millennial style to it. The Tea served tastes lovely and totally worth the price! Though we have to still try the food here, overall great experience during our visit.
Rainy days + Chai is always amazing.
Raju ki chai is A famous outlet which is located near fort. It is famous for variety of chai and other snacks items.Hot sip of Tea and Vada sandwich enlightens us.we tried Masala and adrak chai as well as lemon chai which was served in a kullad.
Must try:-
Bahubali Pizza
vada sandwich
Masala Chai
If your visiting Bombay stock exchange or shopping around the fort area. This is one place you should visit for your refreshing tea and some great snacks.. their grilled Wada pav, different variants of Maggi, RKC special toast, adrak wali chai and their recently launched Nutella fries are a must have!
It's truly Mumbai style snack and very easy on the pocket as well. Unlike branded chais this place gets your sorted in 100-200 Rupees with fresh delicious snacks. Must visit!!
I enjoy this place a lot. The only reason I marked it four stars is the fact that it takes a lot of time to serve the order. I really enjoy the Maggi and the ginger tea here!
I was first skeptical about getting chai delivered, cause the packaging is most important here, but it was well packed, surprisingly the chai was also hot, the only difficulty was there was too much ginger in it, like really heavy dose of ginger, next time I will order one especially without ginger, that's why one star deducted. Overall flavor of the chai is good.
Best of all is adraki chai.
Delivery terms also good. The chai came in good box with good quality and perfect sugar on it. They also provided Kulhad cups
Heard a lot about the cheese melting sandwich n must say it's one of finest sandwich stall in Mumbai fort area
The outlet is small just few chairs
Their chai are very famous also they serve different varaties of it
Cumming to the cheese melting sandwich, first of all it was decorated with cheese over the sandwich, the stuffing inside the sandwich was also proper, the mayo, sanwhich spread, n other spreads were proper balanced in the sandwich which was giving a proper flavours
The quantity is also very much I felt, if you are very hungry then you could eat one entire sandwich or would suggest atleast 2 people eat one sandwich
Raju Ki Chai is an unconventional yet a cool place for tea. The place is hidden in the lanes of the fort. With a great variety on the menu, they serve everything starting from the basic Adrak Chai to the infamous Chocolate Tea and turmeric tea.
Try Chilli Toast sandwich great in taste.

Quick service, good food at decently priced and variety of options to choose from.
When you are passing by one of the many old narrow and crowded lanes of Fort, chances of you coming across a quirky colourful food joint is very high. And when you come across this joint, do give it a try.
Raju k Chai, as the name suggests is a tea centre which serves varieties of chai in Kulhad (Eathern pot). They also serve variety of snacks like Maggi, sandwiches, bun maska, fries, pizza along with chai.
I tried their Masala Maggi with Adrak wali Kulhad chai and it was delicious. The corner is buzzing with youngsters mainly. The place is very colourfully done with Truck art, and walls painted in bright colours, window panes in Yellow and Green. There is bar style seating with high chairs painted in quirky styles.
Overall, I think place deserves 4/5

Chai lovers!!! Chai peelo 📣📣
Situated in a corner of the bustling area of CST is a unique kind of chai ki tapri- 'Rajukichai' who serves some amazing chai in cutting glasses and kullads.
Ambience : The ambience is vibrant and catchy with some Mumbiaya sayings on the walls.
They have variety of tea, coffee and some tasty snacks. The concept of chai is very appealing.
Try this 'Ladakh Butter Tea and Brun Maska' - A classic kind of tea served with butter on the top. And maska pav with it just adds to the perfection.
One of my all time favourite places to go to. Love the chai and the Maggi. The place is usually quite crowded on a Friday evening even though it serves only veg and no alcohol. The flavours are quite good and definitely worth a visit.
A cup of tea is an excuse to share great thoughts with great minds.... @sonianarwani
.
@rajukichai :- Raju ki chai situated at crowed bilanes of Fort is a funky version of Aamchi Mumbai ki chai ki tapri. They have varities of Chai's served in Kullad which you can relish with delicious munchies like Bahubali Pizzas, fries, maggie, sandwhiches, pizza puchkas etc. Clearly a place of quick Adda & chai break. This place is healthy on pocket as well..... .
In the 📸 Saffron Chai :- Great flavours of kesar which is nicely made garnish with petals of kesar. It had a perfect taste of saffron & upto the mark. Highly recommended
.
In the 📸 RKC Special Chai :- Their signature special chai is a mist to have. It has abundant masalas like ginger, cardamon, hint of black pepper & sauf.
.
In the 📸 Chocolate Chai :- Chocolate & Chai a new innovative combination but when it comes to chocolate & chai it can never go wrong. This one is definitely a new worth try .
Cost :- ₹50 /- INR
Location :- Fort, near Starbucks
“Raju Ki Chai”, located at Fort is a quirky and colourful tea place which also serves snacks. It’s a vibrant place and pocket friendly joint. You’ll always find the place busy and we exactly know why! We tried the following:
Ladakhi Coffee: Strong coffee topped with creamy butter, when mixed incorporated perfectly in the coffee. This was the type of cuppa we’d love to start our day with!
Chocolate Kullad Chai With Masala: This reminded us of hot chocolate with some tea masala. Wasn’t exactly like a tea but the masala left our throats with a soothing feeling.
Puchka pizza: Puris filled with corn, capsicum, a cheese based sauce made this miniature pizza bites and absolute delight!
Chilli Cheese Bun: Perfect rendition to your chilli cheese toast sandwich. The “Tutti- Fruity” in the bun gave a subtle sweet taste not overpowering any flavours.
It's located near Volga panwala,it's a small joint but always full.Parking is available outside
We went late on Sunday night,we ordered ginger lemon tea, masala tea in coolad, perilicious fries and chili cheese toast.must try lemon tea and masala tea.even bun maska can go well with tea
Will definitely visit again
Have had RKC deliver evening snacks to our office multiple times. Almost always, their food and packaging has been above expectations. Am particularly fond of their bun maska and adrak chai (which they serve in kulhads).
Don't be in two minds, people! Go ahead and order from RKC!

The tea is awesome and bun muska here is the best you'll get in town. This place is good even for ordering tea online, really good packaging. Must try for a tea lover.
There was no mood to have the chai after having a lavish lunch at oye kake. But the funky outlet let us enter this small outlet and check . We ended up having Adarak chai in Kulhad . It was pretty good . Also impressed by the chai delivery corogated box’s . Very clean and innovative .
All the best to the outlet . Will try more chais.

It's near to fountain and minutes away from Oye kakes fort branch . Ambience wise nothing fancy just a hole in a wall kinda place.
Me and my friend are tea lovers and wanted to try their chai for a time now.
We ordered their kesari chai and kesari spl chai which is for 50 bucks.taste wise the spl one was high on masala and the kesari one was perfect in taste with proper balance of masala and Kesar in it.
We also tried their classic Maggi which was great in taste.
There are other options in snacks as well
I would definitely recommend their kesari chai.
And Maggi lil expensive on side but enough quantity wise .
Do try them.
If you are at the fort and if you are the chai lover than you need to visit this place!
Ginger and grassland tea- a refreshing tea and taste heavenly
Chilly cheese toast- taste good something you cannot stop eating
Ulta pizza- this taste nice but little disappointing as the name says ulta pizza but it wasn't
Over all great experience
Fun place to chill... clearly the place for a quick "Adda" and chai break! Value for money and quick service. Quality food and service worth every penny spend. But remember to stir your teas or coffees when served...the cool guys serving get too busy!!!
This place is soo vibrant and wonderful!
Tea is so sooo delicious And the ambiance is amazing that too in such a small area.
They have variety of chai in many flavours that too in very reasonable prices . I had large masala chai just for 35 bucks and medium adrak chai in 25 bucks.
They had range of maggie ,bun maska and pizza too with in different varients!
The place was so artistic and had crockery for sale too in amazing designs.
I love this place ,was so vintage and grounded but had a mordenised touch.
Its a must try for Chai lovers as well as foodies too! 💕
We tried ‘Classic veg Pizza ’ with extra cheese , its just yummy, juicy and tastier pizza
And also had neembu wali chai
Chai piyoge??
Located in a corner is this amazing Chai wala who serves chai is traditional Indian Glass and has amazing wall paintings.
Dishes:

This is a small place which is very much youth friendly as the theme here is very attractive. The outlet at fort specially known for its chai is really heaven for a tea lover . This place also servers other food items as well at an affordable price too
We ordered Adrak chai and melting cheese pizza (both tasted great) 👍🏻
Situated in crowded bilanes of fort, this particular outlet lives up to it's name. The number of Chais served vary from ginger, masala to lemongrass and saffron. The monstrous sandwiches are a perfect pairing with the hot beverages. The quirky interiors and colorful walls add to the experience 👍👍👍
A place for all chai lovers! Varieties of chai served in a kullad...!!
Everyone who craves for late night chai and some snacks... this is the place!!
Choices to eat from too... maggi, buns, fries....!
The place is very bright and colorful.. with some fancy tag lines!!
Tried the lemongrass adrak chai, bun maska and jain fries (of raw banana)
Everything was good but the service is kind off slow... had to wait a long time!

The ambiance just so colourful and attractive. It gives you a good Rajasthani feel.
The food here is prepared in a hygienic manner and the portions are good too. You are going to be spoilt for choices since they have such delicious food on their menu.
I would highly recommend their, Kesari Chai and RKC Special Chai, which is served in a kullad. Trust me, this is going to be the best chai you'll ever have. ❤

This small chai place has become our favourite recently. Kesar chai is just heaven here. They serve many varieties of chai it's tiny place with limited seating but service is super quick.
Along with soothing chai, one can try sandwiches, aloo bomb, Maggi and much more.
The rates are very much reasonable and it's a complete vegetarian place.
Don't Miss to Try out freshly brewed TEAs here if you are complete chai person like me. They serve till 12 am midnight
Raju ki chai is the nice and new hotel in the fort this is awesome place eat to snacks in the fort. There are many type of snacks and also tea ,cafe in the hotel in the hotel my favourite is cheese garden maggi and cheese BBQ maggi and also in tea and coffeeshop in tea my favourite is kesari chai and in coffee special coffee in these hotel the rate is normal and quality is nice and the taste of snacks very nice.
Superlative snacks and teas. Their Adrak Haripatti Chai with Bun Maska and Malai Bun were exactly what was needed on the cold wintery evenings. My granny just loved the malai bun as in these "tetrapack milk" days, eating malai of boiled milk is something thats just not possible.
Their Maggis and cheese maggis are exactly what you want when hunger and laziness strikes. No unnecessary ghass phoos, just pure masala Maggi or with grated cheese on it as the wife loves.
Their kulhad chai (for 4) comes in a cute D. I. Y. Tetra pack steaming hot with kulhads... So for the lazybums, no more making the tea and washing of utensils later... Just Twist, pour and savour... Absolutely love it...
Stuff gets delivered in 20 mins of order. So many a couple of late afternoons this week have been lazy afternoons😉....
Situated near bora bazaar in Fort across a lane. Raju ki Chai is very similar to one of the places situated in parel called chaos control cafe. Now what makes it different is their huge snacks menu. They go from sandwiches to ulta pulta pizzas which is awesome while having Chai. The Chai is served in kulhad but the quantity is less. They also serve coffee and milkshakes. The place is small but very big hearted with fancy quotes about bombay and film stuff which makes it more lighting and comforting.
We had
Elaichi Chai-OK Chai.
Special Kesar Chai - Good but still the quantity was a let down.
Bun maska - This was great although it is too much fat but great try this for sure.
Aloo slice sandwich - simple sandwich with aloo served with chutney. A light taste.
Very trending place on Instagram because of the very unique ambience of the restaurant..
Located in Fort area in Mumbai.
Ordered
Peri-Peri Fries
Cheese maggii
Bun Maska
Kesari chai
Adrak Chai
Literally For Chai Lover the kesari chai is like heaven.
I never had this type of delicious Chai in my entire life.
Everyone must try Kesari Chai here.
Apart from this peri-peri fries and maggii is also very tasty.
The quotes written on the restaurant is very desi and funky..

Innovation - whether with Tea or with Food.. Serves amazing Maggie, Sandwiches, Tea and Coffee..
Tried the Melting Grill (looooads of cheese and butter), Aloo Bomb (good), Adrak Lemongrass Tea (amaaaaazing), and Ladhaki Coffee (never again)..
Missed the Puchka Pizza.. Will go there again for sure..
Recently visited this place in order to satiate tea cravings. Tried RKC special which was a mixture of masala, elaichi, and adrakh
Found the tea to be perfect to warm one up in the winter chill. However, we found the tea super spiced which caused a slight inconvenience.
Not to forget, the kulhads that they were serving in were although durable, they don't reuse it which makes the experience pleasant
Love this place. It’s a cute hangout for a group of friends who don’t want to commit to dining in a restaurant.
I tried the RKC, Adrak and Elaichi Chai. Adrak chai was very good. The other two were just okay.
I also tried the Puchka Pizza. It was a nice twist to the regular Puchka and Pizza.
I had Melting pizza. It was good but not great.
Must visit for every Chai lover
A small place with very vibrant colours, you feel charged up just by seeing the place. The RKC is super good and one of the best teas i ever had.
They offer a lot of snack options. We tried bun malai sugar, fuchka pizza, aloo bomb and vada sandwich. Everything was good except bun malai sugar which was very cold and not done properly.
Service is slow and can be improved.
The place is very healthy on pocket. Absolutely how a chai outlet should be. Definitely a must visit if nearby

I recently visited an amazing small outlet that left me delighted! They serve fantastic chais and affordable snack items, and the experience was beyond satisfying. The Kesar Elaichi Chai had a perfect blend of flavors that warmed my heart. The Masala Chai was equally impressive, packing a spicy punch that I loved. The Achari Paneer Roll was a delectable treat with its tangy twist. The Chilly Cheese Toast melted in my mouth, leaving me craving more. The Vegetable Maggi was a comforting and flavorful delight. The Peri Peri fries had just the right amount of spice to tantalize my taste buds. Lastly, the Sev Puri sandwich was a unique fusion that I couldn't get enough of! Must try this place whenever you in fort.
👍
If you cant handle too much crowd then there will be chaos. I experienced such scenes at the fort outlet of Raju ki chai.
Finally when i got to order i was told that a basic maggie wud take 30 mins. So i settled for adrak elaichi kullad chai - which took 15 mins to prepare.
During the 15 mins i noticed that the staff was so overworked and frustrated that they were rude to ppl who came in expensive cars to have a chai experience. A lot of people were ordering the bun maska(the staff told me that the buns are outsourced)
The ambience is colorful but everything inside looks messy.
The service slow.
No doubt the chai was refreshing, flavourful and packed a perfect punch.
Dont do any ghai at Raju ki Chai
Heard lot of hype about this place and My wife being a hardcore chai lover had to visit the place. We ordered Kesar elaichi chai, rk special chai, rk special toast, cheese chilly toast and cheese bomb garlic toast.
Loved the Kesar elaichi chai, didn't liked the rk special chai as it was too much of masala for my taste. All 3 toasts were good but nothing extra ordinary about them.
The staff were too dull and not so welcoming.
Overall one can visit here just try different varieties of Chai.

Such a great tea shop with fantastic food. We visited multiple times to try the selection of chais and loved each one of them. Finally came when we were hungry to also try the food and it was also great! Mukesh was always so great, friendly, and helpful and made great chai suggestions. A must visit place while in Mumbai
Really tasty chai. Do have it in a kullhad, it enhances the overall experience. The vibe of the place is great. Chat with strangers while sipping your chai and you'll have a fun time there.
The most exciting thing is all variety of chai are offered in kulhads. There are so many varieties of tea and all are great.
You will find some snacks too which is tasty.
Had ordered lemongrass tea and hot garlic bread. Fantastic taste and quick service. Mukesh was very kind and helpful. The atmosphere itself is a great stress reliever. Must visit for those much needed breaks and tea time fun!!!
Happened to cross one of the bylanes at Fort on a lazy Saturday evening after work, where I came across a bright yellow colourful board which said Raju Ki Chai (RJK)! Now disclaimer I am a big time tea person! I love drinking my cutting chai often at various udipi restaurants or tea stalls.
This small little joint had a complete different vibe to it. There were benches and some stools kept just outside the place, which was quite interesting. And I could actually see people occupying those seats and chit chatting with tea in their hands. And I thought, what a fantastic idea implemented by RJK. Was so intrigued that I decided to walk in and have a closer look.
RJK has rich vibrant colours on its wall, with funny quotes. Has I love Mumbai, I love India written on various places. I could feel the buzz with the amount of walk-in the place had. This joint will be completing a year next month, so kudos to a place which has been able so successful in a short span of time. RJK serves Sandwiches, Pizzas, Buns, Maggi, Fries along with Tea with milk and without milk!
Talking about what all I tried here -
I was ofcourse there for tea! But the food also looked so interesting, that I had to try some of it! Started with Kesari Special Chai served in Kulhad! Chai was sprinkled generously with saffron! I personally loved the chai! - fantastic combination of Saffron, Ginger, Tea Masala and Cardamom! Had heard plenty of the Adrak chai as well, I prefer less of Adrak but those who are open to it, should try!
Next tried the Honey Ginger Lemon Chai which is under their served in cutting glass. This is under their Healthy Chai section with no milk! Lemon tea lovers would love this one. I loved it too! Just awesome and must try!
Moving to some food - we first tried Bun Maska! Bun was loaded with Butter so it was definitely pleasing to the eye! However the buns were a little hard and taste was decent. Wish the buns can be softer.
Next we had the Peri Peri Maggi. Spicy as it should be due to the Peri Peri Masala added to the Maggi. Must have for Maggi lovers and those open to trying something different.
After the Maggi we tried Aloo Bomb! This is one of the recommended dishes, so decided to try this. Fried Potato basket stuffed with Onion, Capsicum, Tomatoes and Mayo, topped with Sev! Decent preparation! If I must choose amongst the Peri Peri Maggi and Aloo Bomb, I would personally recommend Maggi.
Last but not the least, we ordered for the Melting Grilled Sandwich. A super filling sandwich loaded with cheese on top served with chutneys and ketchup. Quite different from the Grilled Sandwich which you have in city. Best dish amongst all and highly recommended!
We ended our meal with couple of more tea options - Raju Ki Chai Special and Adrak & Lemongrass Special, later one was more refreshing for me. Raju Ki Chai Special is the regular masala tea for those who prefer not to experiment with their Chai!
All-in-all a good experience at RJK. Was so impressed that they have so effective with a basic menu. They do serve to a lot of offices in and around Fort! I wouldn't be surprised in fact would be happy to see more such RJK outlets open near commercial areas and business centres in Mumbai!
Nice place to have tea in south Bombay. Variety of tea available. Snacks are also available. During evening time waiting time is more. Parking issue exists. However if you are going by bike it ll be easy. If going by car and don’t get parking then u ll have to park near star bucks and that ll cost u 40-50 bucks. Tea is served in kulhad. However plastic cups are provided if you are taking delivery. Per person costs around 200-250Rs if you are having tea along with snacks. Recommend place.
Just an amazing place! When nothing would be alive, and you’re craving bad for food.. Well, this is your resort!! I had tea, pizza and Maska bun!! The tea-JUST SO AMAZING!! Minimal prices, best hours and amazing food!! I loved it ✨
In the busy lanes of Fort one thing which will refresh you anytime is a kadak and tongue tingling chai . That's the main them of this place out called RKC viz. Raju Ki Chai .
The outlet is indeed a cute little place having limited seating and with some lovely funny quotes on stools and walls.
Along with Chai they offer some lips smacking snacks which we savoured during our visit out here .
Kullad Chai :
This reminds me of our Holy place Nath Dwara where we visit once in a year and one big thing which we miss through out the year is the Kullad Chai which we enjoy these . Atleast the Chai we can enjoy in Mumbai itself now Thanks to RKC .
We tried their RKC special which had strong aroma of spices in it & along side we tried their Kesar Special which has sweet notes and good of Kesar within it.
Snacks :
Melting Cheese Grill :
We have enjoyed this yummy delight at many places in Town & trust me they are one of the best in serving it perfectly the way it has to be
Chilli Cheese Bun :
This is from their Must Try section and it definitely is . Bun served in an absolute Delicious way . A must try for all .
Aloo Bomb :
Had a lots of expectations from this but it eventually turned out to be an ordinary dish . Having said that the filling in this one was also Tasty only suggestion will be to work on the Aloo shell
Dessert :
Nutty Nutella Open Toast :
Again a house speciality which is definitely a must try dessert while concluding your meal out here .
Overall a delightful and refreshing visit to the place .
