Superb food. Roasted Flax seed masala Dosa and Pav Bhaji Dosa must try. Quite Reasonable. Excellent staff and quick service. Good family restaurant. Amazing hand churned ice creams.
A cozy pure veg dining restaurant at Hill Road near Bandra Police Station. Service is fast and the staff polite. Every thing that we ordered like Pav bhaji, Punjabi dishes, South Indian, Ice cream and juices are great and value for money. They also serve Thali and chaats.
Must go after shopping at Hill road.
A decent and reasonably priced Indian fast food joint. Located the busy Hill Road. Very happy with the Roasted almond ice cream and south Indian Food . Service was also good.Must visit.
The place is located at hill road. It is a small decent place serving thali , Chinese , pav bhaji and more. I really liked the Pav bhaji. It is a reasonable place.
This is an place hidden in plain sight. If you're looking for veg and can't find one in Bandra, i suggest you walk in and just give the rice/paratha meal a try. The fast food in sandwich and dosas are delicious too. I've had a relieving experience in a long while.
Gokul RefreshmentΒ
Gokul Refreshment is located in the bandra... the place is very nice i ordered pav bhaji and the pav bhaji was damn good it was like heaven and the order also came fast and the staff were also good wish to visit again whenever i will come to bandra
Gokul is one of those hidden gems π in Bandra West serving some of the most delicious π South Indian fast food type fare. Their Pav Bhajji is simply lip smacking tasty and can easily compete with the best in Mumbai.
This place is a tiny restaurant wonder, the ambience is soothing and they play lovely relaxing music πΆ
The service is good, the owner often interacts with customers and is usually always at hand to advise or sort out any queries.
The pricing is reasonable compared to the location and after paying the bill one often feels happy π to have received good value for his money π°
Highly recommend you try their Pav Bhajji & Tavaa Pulav. Their ice creams are prepared by themselves and flavours change often so donβt forget to try these real fruit π ice creamsπ¦ for desert. They use the same ice creams to make their milkshakes as well. π
When Pav bhaji comes in my mind this is the ideal place. Itβs a small dine restaurant next to bandra police station. Love the taste of Pav bhaji itβs so delicious and you could even see the kitchen from the restaurant, itβs so hygienic and well maintained. They also got ice cream which is also must try if you come to this places. The service is also pretty good here.
Food is really good.. we ordered Pav bhaji, dosa, grill sandwitch and everything really tasted well..service timing can be improved but owner was trying to manage
We visited this place around 2pm. The ambiance was quite simple and it was relatively empty.
We spoke to the manager about the best sellers of this restaurant. He recommended the Jain Pav Bhaji and anything from the chaat section.
We ordered for the following items in JAIN:
1. Jain Pav Bhaji
The pav bhaji was definitely good, the pavs had a generous amount of butter. The bhaji, although good, was not the best I have ever had.Β
Taste: 4/5
Presentation: 3/5
2. Dahi Bhalla Papdi Chaat
This chat was perfect and had the right amount of spicy and tangy taste to it.Β
Taste: 5/5

3. Dark Chocolate Salted Caramel Swirl:
They make all their ice cream on their own with no food colourings or preservatives. The taste of this ice cream was rich.
Taste: 4/5

4. Mango Ice Cream:
This was made from fresh fruit and not essence or food colourings. Taste was good like homemade ice cream.

Cool ambience, good and fast service. Friendly staff. Very hygienic restaurant. True value for money. A must to visit for all vegan. A must are the handmade ice creams.
The best part about this place is that it uses AMUL butter, and this is the formula that makes most of the difference. The items first impress your eyes, then your taste buds!Β
Pav Bhaji: This place is correctly well known for its pav bhaji. The decent amount of cheese in the cheese pav bhaji makes it a must try for cheese lovers. Itβs one of those rare bhajis that one can enjoy eating without pav also. The spice level is ideal for anyone to love the taste.
Dahi Batata Puri: Nice crispy puris filled with rich thick dahi thatβs slightly sweetened, and green chutney (Not spicy at all), apart from my favourite batatas! A break of it in your mouth will give a soothing effect to your tummy and your soul!
Thali: The two gravies taste just like home food. Chapatis should have a bit more ghee. They were dry. Jeera rice is of very good quality. A great & economical home type meal option.

This tiny place doesnβt fail to impress. Delicious food. From thalis to sev puri, it was made to perfection, cooked authentically and served in the right manner.
Ice Creams are a must try.
Pav Bhaji is super.
Sandwiches cannot be not tried.
Sev Puri/ Pani Puri are delicious.
In a crux, donβt underestimate this place, itβs fabulous.
What a great place with such a peaceful ambience, everything I've ordered has been really great. Please try this place out, you won't regret it.
One of the best place...
Awesome service...
Fast and decent service...
Food is so nice and delicious...
Will be definately looking forwade to this place again...
I came across this place on Zomato when I was hunting for good pav bhaji place in Bandra..it seemed new so thought of giving it a try. A small place at a main location with a interesting street food menu at decent price range. Ordered for pav bhaji n turned out to be really nice..but will surely visit it again for their variety of dishes. Staff is friendly.
Antonβs Ratatouille or Gusteauβs Pav Bhaji π€©
Generally what does one mean when one says that the food is too good?
Does it mean the entire course was amazing or that one particular dish was mind blowing?
Well there could be many permutations and combinations to this.
This particular restaurant bang opposite the Parsi Agiyari on Hill Road is where youβd get the best Pav Bhaji in Mumbai.
I wouldnβt say that Iβm a great connoisseur of food, but I would definitely rate my taste buds equivalent to a sommelier when it comes to Pav Bhaji!
Itβs time that I rate this place amongst my top haunts for Pav Bhaji in Mumbai; especially since my brother lives in an apartment in the same premises where this gem is located and where I have been savouring this wonderful taste since a long time.
Until a few years back they were a no frills eatery, non-air conditioned and very very basic; however not too long ago they revamped it into a cozy little air conditioned place with an inviting ambience.
So coming back to their menu, I would say go for the Pav Bhaji and youβll come back to them for more.
Thereβs also another thing thing that deserves a mention, which is their signature hand made ice-cream.
Iβm sure both these things will not disappoint you and leave you wanting for more.
Cheers to your amazing recipe guys! Keep up the great work!
Best of street food options in budget is what this place known for.
I just love their, South Indian Dishes like Rawa masala dosa, uttapam, cheese burst Pizzas, Combos of Chinese food, Tawa pulao and handmade ice-creams.
Their sitaphal ice cream is so fresh and tasty.
It's a small pleasant place at Hill road, Bandra!! Loved the food here...!! Pocket friendly and yummy...!! Have also tried the shakes and ice cream which were up to the mark as well..!! I specifically loved the pav bhaji... It was truly amazing!! I also had the thali and Chinese!! Thali is good for those who love complete meals.. Triple schezwan Rice which had the deletable rice and noodles mixed beautifully decorated with salad at the corners of the plate. They also give gravy along called the Manchurian dumpling in hot garlic sauce only the Manchurian balls which I found okay because they were not very soft though the taste of the gravy was yummy. Nevertheless you have an option of choosing your desired noodles, rice and gravy from their menu....

The menu at Gokul offers quite tasty & healthy vegetarian options. The restaurant is clean & the staff is very friendly. The Pav-bhaji at Gokul is a must-try as is their handmade ice-cream. Try the Butter Pecan ice-cream - it's delicious! My usual orders include the Veg Pizza, the Ghee Onion Uttappa and, of course, the Ice-cream. All great!
Gokul offers traditional South-Indian snacks as well as delicious paninis, pizzas & pastas.
A must visit.

Prime location for this new joint. They're even popular on Delivery apps in Bandra. Quick Foods being served here as well as a a meal with some heavy shakes and such. Well made place, and good interiors.
I'd encourage them to continue maintaining good standards as its very easy to slip in unexpected areas like the odor when you enter the place which i found a bit of a turn off when entered. However there was incense and AC on which got masked or we got used to it in 5-7 mins inside the place.
Food menu has good choices and will look forward to try ordering or dining and trying more stuff like sabudana khichdi, milk shake, etc. next time.
We ordered Filter coffee without sugar - Was Decent and had to request to add some more coffee for our liking.
Spicy roasted Dosa with Cheese - Well presented and came in with decent amount of cheese and had fresh colored capsicums inside which was a surprise. Even do i dont prefer it, this wasnt bad. Though the Sambar and coconut chutney came after couple of minutes and a reminder.
overall good taste and the ingredients like the capsicum, coconut chutney, etc was fresh. Sambar was tad bit sweet for my liking. My friend found it perfectly alright. So if you're like me that likes sambar on the neutral to sour side, ask for a lime.
2nd Dish was Spinach and Corn grilled sandwich with Cheese inside and outside with wafers. Liked the quantity of the fillings and ingredients were fresh and even the bread used in toasting was fresh.
Ketchup was average.
Nice and gold aquaguard water served in clean glasses.
They have good choices in ice-creams and shakes too.
Overall good dining experience.
I will surely go back or order at home in future.
Cheers!
Located on hill road is this tiny, simple looking fast food centre called Gokul Refreshement. It was indeed a "refreshing" change to see a reasonably priced restaurant open on hill road.
Crowded even on weekdays and as the place is small, it does get really noisy. With 2 ganpati podiums being built near-by, I see a lot of business in the next few weeks. All cuisine menu- right from 'Chaat' (most expensive) to Italian and Chinese, hard to pick out options as you want to each atleast 2 dishes from each leaf of the menu! Also, there is a small home-made icecream section which needs to be explored further (gotta eat-em all!).
Service:
It is difficult to grab the teams attention verbally, due to the incredible amount of noise all at once at the place, but when you do, they are quick to come. The food came out tremendously fast and almost all at once (did not expect that, small place, hence presumed only a few cooks must be running the place). Fastest fast food service I have seen in my life.
Food:
French fries- Part of shravan "fast" food amtasting. Our 1st order was the last to come, presumably as they made them fresh, not just refried, they were crisp, hot and served with 3 dipping sauces-mayo, siracha cheese and ketchup. Standard. 4/5
Cheese chilly toast- 8 trianges of perfection. Just the right amout of cheese, capsicum, green chilky, origano and crispiness- grilled to perfection. Dish of the day. 5/5
Mysore masala dosa- ordered it to be deconstructed i.e masala and chuttney separate so that I could taste all the components. Average. 3/5
Lachcha paratha meal with daal makhni- medium sized parathas served with raita and dal makhni. Price is cheap for the food. This could be meal for 2 with a small appetite. Daal makni was "umami". Tie for dish of the day. 5/5
Sabudana kichadi- was missing something, possibly because I am used to a certain taste, more specifically a charred green chilly flavour. My mums sabu kichadi ruined all others for me- so possibly biased. There are many ways to really ruin the dish also, and since this was edible, another "shravan" option for those who end up hunting for options in bandra! Its price is under hundered rupees- no one has the right to say anything... Chup chaap khao!!! 3/5
"Sitafal" ice-cream- from their home-made icecream collectionm defintey more fruity flavour than 'naturals' the direct competition at the price, had good amout of sitafal peices, no complaints. 4/5
Cost: cheap cheap cheap... Visit before they hike up rates or reduce quantity!!!
Overall 3.5/5
P.S. tried zomato filters on 3 of the last pics (did not know about the feature), I like my pics the way they are, but could be helpful.
Thanks for the best food for the customer. .I like your restaurant n yr food ,n your lighting
That a good restaurant for the near customer.
I like the taste of food .

Even the lassi was amazing
Best thing was the dark chocolate orange icecream
Worth it....
Fantastic food as always....on time delivery.
Our all time to go place which serves probably the best Pao Bhaji in Mumbai. Also the pecan nut ice cream is to die for.
Extraordinary food and ambience
The new experience at Gokul was exceptional
From the steamed idlis and the flaxseed dosa, the most amazing pav bhaji and to end on a sweet note the gulkand icecream and the dark chocolate with orange pieces were a treat
The dal khichdi tasted great but was far too oily.
very nice , test was awesome
Lovely homemade icecreams! Tried the seasonal lychee and mango flavours! Simply awesome! Tried the Kesari Falooda! That too was damn good! Good on you Sarvottam! Keep it up!
love the Pav bhaaji.
Just tried their ice creams today, and my mind is blow. Simply fantastic. Kudos! Their dark chocolate with orange is one of the finest tastes you'll have.
delivery service is too good....
After seeing the place revamped and a friend's suggestion finally decided to go to this place. Really enjoyed. The pav bhaji was really delicious. The uttapam was nice too.. the Pani Puri was different but really good. The star of our meal was the fig milkshake and the dark chocolate and salted caramel milkshake.. it was amazing... Haven't had something so good in a long time. What I loved the most was that the chocolate did not hot the throat. The fact that I love close by.. my family has decided to make it our regular joint.. and I'm certainly supportive of the decision. The waiters here are very down to earth and very efficient.. even though it was busy we had no complaints about the service. All in all of you are in the vicinity do visit them.. especially for their pav bhaji and the milkshakes.
Itβs a good place to eat. One of the best in Bandra.Do try itβs Pao bhaji and pizza dosa. They serve nice in-house ice creams.Do try it.staff is also very courteous.
loved the flavorful pav bhaji.....was left licking my fingers
Lunch thali was value for money.
This place is my all time favourite when it comes to comfort food . From idli to their pav bhaji everything taste really good . Just ordered Onion uthapa which was huge , super tasty & the Delivery was also super quick . Ever since they have revamped the place , it has become my go to place for quick bites . Keep up the good work and keep serving yummy food . Do visit if you are at hill road .
I love this place its really tough to find a restaurant which serves veg food with delecious taste this place is daam good I would recommend you that you should try the dal tadka and rice ,lacha paratha with dal makhani and tawa pulav. Dal makhani served by gokul is the best dal makhnai I Ever had in bandra. And the staff is pretty polite this is a best place if you prefer tasty food !
I have been to Gokul a couple of times now. Gokul is a small and really simple place with amazing food.
The service is fast and very efficient, till now, I have had different types of dosas and Pav bhajis from there and I have absolutely loved each one of them. Among the dosa I had the Schezwan dosa, Masala dosa and a spicy roasted garlic dosa (ot was the best) and their Pav bhaji.
It's a lovely place and I recommend it to all those who are looking for an escape from loud and crowded places
I had a mysore dosa and mixed dry fruits shake in this retaurent.
It's located in prime location of Bandra
The taste of mysore dosa was good and i will rate it 4 star for that taste and price.
Then i had a mixed dry fruit shake which was very good and huge as well and here we need to apply some physics π i.e; directly proportional to price.π
overall experiance is good and i would definitely recommend this place.
Thank you guys for reading my review.
My favorite places to have chats and coffee and dosa before I head down to go shopping in Hill road. Very good service and neat environment. Really like the taste of the food here . Been here many times started their own homemade ice creams it is really good .
Have been going to Gokul since the early 1990βs. The pav bhaji has always been amazing. A lot has changed in recent times and new items on the menu however we usually stick to the pav bhaji as our usual order. Did try the rajma and paratha and it was decent (but secretly wished I had taken the pav bhaji). Service as usual was quick.
A place where I can refresh myself after a hectic schedule n long hours of work. Best Pav Bhaji I should say and the shake of dry fruits. Good people and great service.
Golul refreshment serves one of the best Sindhi foods and I enjoyed it a lot. Their koki with chole, raita and papad was way too good and also their Paneer Tikka Masala Biryani is amazing β€οΈβ€οΈ. The Paneer Corn Malai tikka was also great even including the Gulab Jamun. Their packaging also was goodπππ
This place is famous for pav bhaji which is no doubt very tasty but it's idli dosa and other stuffs too are way delicious than any other restaurants as per my experience. Recommending to visit once for better experience.
Great Ambiance. staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our date enjoyable. I highly recommend to visit
Small restaurant at Bandra west, Hill road. Best food quality, good hygiene and cool place. Pav bhaji without any food color been used, must try their "Tandoori Paneer Pizza" which has very thin crust and lots of cheese. They also have their own brand ice creams. Try "Tandoori Paneer Sandwich" it's yum...I'm sure you would love it..
Very good hostel, my daughter stayed for few days she felt very good atmosphere, hygienic, nice food..and friendly staff...thanks to the staff and management for their good hospitality..
Here is amazing restaurant, nice place for refreshment, and staffs here are lovely and knows their work very well.β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈ
