Lovely lunch today. Ordered the crab cake sandwich and was pleased by the quality of the crab cake, as well as the nicely toasted roll, thick slices of ripe avocado, and crisp hot bacon which accompanied it. The side of fresh fruit was also generous and perfectly ripe. A very good experience! Add this to the best dining view on the island on a gorgeous Fall day, and it adds up to perfection!

This outlet is just opposite babulnath temple. I have really liked the different types of dosas out here. I would recommend cheese sada, mysore masala, cheese paneer chilly, maggie sada and cheese mysore sada dosa to all. I also had pani puri and samosa chaat out here and it was good.
a nice place to have a mix of dosas, pizza, chaats and rolls. All the food is of good quality for a road side stall. They have jain as well as non jain chutney so do ask for it.
Dishing out dosas for over two decades, Babulnath Dosa Center is our permanent drive through fast food place. It started off as just delicious dosas but they've now diversified into also served chaat and tikkas and sandwiches! Needless to say the mainstay is still the dosas and the many types of it that they serve but we tried the tikka roll and chaat the first time around though and were impressed. The lane usually over the weekend gets chocablock with people trying to find a parking spot to be able to have the food. So try visiting this place at odd hours if you want to thoroughly enjoy the feel of street side scrumptious food!
They have been serving dosas since atleast 20 years (started from road side) and now have shifted to a place inside in the corner opposite Babulnath temple. They have a wide variety of dosas available. My fav here is still butter sada.

I just love the dosas here, they are the best. I have been having dosas here since 20 years now and they are pretty as yummy! They do not have any seating. Its like street food and one has to eat it standing or in your own car.. Parking can get a problem, but manageable with time..
Food we ordered :
Cheese mysore : 10/10
masala dosa : 10/10
chilly cheese sandwich : 8/10
dahi puri : 10/10
Onion Sada : 10/10
I have been eating here since over a decade or rather since the time they were a roadside 2 man business.
Their dosas are to die for. Based on your liking, they have every possible flavour- from Chinese to cheese to Palak Paneer to Mysore masala. Name it and they have it.
Apart from dosas they also have great rolls and their pain Puri is also quite good. They have a variety of other dishes like chaat, sandwiches and pizzas that give you perfect variety to do dinner there.
If you haven’t tried this place, this is a must visit to enjoy Mumbai’s street food!
Street food at its best.
Ive been to Mumbai a couple of times but have never really got to savour the popular cuisine that remains true to this city. This time food occupied a huge place on my itinerary. Trust me, this place should be on your must-to-do-list when in Mumbai. Don’t let this place intimidate you. The food won’t let you down. No seating available. Dine in, in your car or better still, use the boot of your car as a table.
What’s on our plate:
•Ghee roast dosa - 👍🏻
•Chinese chowmein dosa - 👌🏻
•Paper sada dosa - 👍🏻
•Butter dosa - 👍🏻
•Mysore masala dosa - 👍🏻
•Pani puri - 👌🏻
•Papadi chaat - 👌🏻
•Paneer tikka - 👍🏻

After a long wait I get to finally try this place.. heard so so so much about it and staying around the corner I never visited
Sooo many varieties of dosa and uttapum
Tried their Onion uttapum and mysore masala dosa- they don’t serve any sambhar but have two types of chutneys! Loved the white one made with coconut
The dosa and the uttapum was yummm and filling... The order was brought out fast too!
Surely visiting again to try new stuffs!
Delicious street food in South Bombay! Because it is usually busy it does take a bit of time for the food to come out but no doubt the wait is worth it. My favourite ‘street food’ for when I am in Mumbai. I usually go with a group of friends and we order all types of dosas so we get a variety to eat. Hopefully soon enough they will expand and have a seating area but regardless would still keep coming back since it’s just that good!
The best dosa varieties you will get here, very delicious, crispy mouth watering, Best Dahipuri I ever had, no sitting you have to eat by sitting in your car or Bike or standing

Babulnath dosa center is one of the best street food joint in South bombay. It is just opposite to the babulnath temple and if you come from the main road it's the lane opposite to nananani park.Coming to the food:
We had jini dosa, American chopsuey dosa and palak paneer which were really worth and must try and rated around 100-130.The spices used were so perfectly blended in jini dosa.
As we were waiting for the dosa we decided to try dahi puri and it turned out to be excellent. The best dahi puri I had till date.
Other dosas may be good as well and we will keep trying.I don't know about sandwich as we came esp.for dosa.
Our experience was really good and dosas tasted best as compared to the other joints I can say.Chutneys too were good one was regular and other one of lahsun and garlic.
As there are no tables and chairs it becomes quite inconvenience on weekends but if there were it would rather create some chaos. So better the things already good as it is.Highly recommended.
Really Good South Indian Street food.
Highly recommended to have Cheese Mysore masala dhosa (Ask him to make it garden).
Also taste all the chat options, my personal favourite is DAHI PURI.
Worth a try. This place is pocket friendly and filling . Nice & tasty!
Suggestion- some standing tables for keeping plates while eating will be good
Its my go to place when i feel like eating a dosa. The chutneys they serve are really good and dosas are really good too the maggi dosa being my favourite. The only problem is there are lot of parking issues especially on weekends. Lot of other things like sandwiches and rolls are available too and they are quite tasty too.
Pure veg outlet bang opposite babulnath temple.
Superb varities of dosa they serve, chilly cheese, panner chilly are delicious. Though for nutella dosa, nutella is less used ! All the dosas are served with two type of chutneys and it tastes yummy.
Service needs to be imporved as less staff and they took much time to serve after i placed an order.
No ambience as such as its a roadside outlet and no sitting arrangement. But you can enjoy your food while sitting in car.
Overall food is yummy and mouth watering, so total yes to visit time n again and no regret for wait and little discomfort.... :-) ;-)
Should try Rolls as they are made in wheat rotis and not maida. Try alu schzwan and baby corn schzwan rolls. Gini dosa is ok....Mysore masala is fine but I had better Mysore masala somewhere else
I can say this is my Adda after Starbucks Chowpatty!!! I just love almost everything they got on the menu to offer. Their Dosas are just fab (My All Time Favourite) , Rolls are very tasty and light at the same time, not too oily which is good. Chaats are worth a try and I must say sandwiches are a bit overpriced I feel as compared to the quality or substance they must have in them. But overall a great experience and attraction among youth especially the students studying in colleges around.

After spending quality time at marine drive and girgaum chowpaty landed here to grab bite.
Located exactly opposite babulnath temple this place is great to relish taste buds.
Though there are not any tables and chairs to sit this place is cool hangout stall.
Had ordered dosa, uttapam and sandwiches .
I loved chilli cheese toast it had loads of cheese and perfect blend of green capsicum.
Dosas were decent in taste.
Overall this place is pocket friendly and filling.
Just what the name says..... Varieties of dosa's!! Nice & tasty!! Onion and cheese is my favourite.... And do not forget to try Nutella dosa once u done with main course ;)! There are no seating arrangements or proper place to stand! Place ur order... Collect it and find a place to stand and eat... As simple as that! Try it once! Recommended! :)
Everything here is super amaze. Right from the pani puri to the dosas! The cheese tomato onion uttappa melts in your mouth, a must try . So is the Chinese chopsuey dosa. The only drawback here is that there isnt any place to sit, but who cares when such amazing food is served at such amazing prices? This iconic street dosa joint is a must try.
By far the best dahi puri I had is from here. It's so chatpata and tasty. I literally indulge in it. It's so good. It's convenient as they serve you in your car at your own comfort and it's fast. I absolutely love this place.
Chocolate cheese dosa and Mysore Masala were both awesome. Would definitely visit again. Plenty of things yet to taste here. Best part is once the aarti at the temple is completed u can straight away come here and grab the delicious dosas here.
Small Dosa Joint in the heart of South Mumbai
What can I say about the varieties.
It has every possible combination to try.
If you love chocolate , do try their chocolate dosa
Our favorite here has to be their Mysore Masala Dosa.
No place to sit at all, so its only for those who like street food.
Also has rolls and sandwiches for the non south Indian fan types.

Nothing much to say about the place.. u will spot dis place easily... The taste of the items being served is quite normal, according to me.. I would say the quality marks to one of the point why one can see it will be crowded at any time..
Had paneer_cheese_chilly, cheese_onion_uttapam and few which I don't remember now.. I loved the stuffings..
Dahi_puri & pani_puri is not to be missed!!
One time visit for sure if u r nearby, I would recommend :) \m/

It was one of the best Dosa I have ever had at this place,it has much of varieties in Dosa to offer!
Cheese chilly masala Dosa and cheese chilly paneer dosa are highly recommended!
Don't forget the scrumptious panipuri & chaat they have on their menu!
The only thing is that there is no sitting place here, you have to stand by the street and enjoying eating !
Only and only for the love and to try a variety for Dosas visit this place. By serving tasty dosas, it's popular among the rich n poor. It's very cheap. Order whatever you like sit on your car and relish.
One more example of an unassuming little place that turns out to be tastebud tantalizing.. We has the Mysore masala dosa, pani puri and sev puri ( an unusual combination of cuisines!) was awesomely satiating .. 👍🏻
This is the place inside the lane which is just opposite the babulnath temple..on sunday it was little bit crowdy..the panner roll is v good in taste..I wouldnt suggest to order paper dosa coz it was so crispy that more than dosa it looked like papad! The dahi papadi chat was good..they have loads of varieties and good taste!
This place is at the end of Marine Lines after Girgaum Chowpaty. The small street corner is in the lane just opposite Babulnath Temple. The outlet is a small outlet and serve Dosa in Cars park outside the lane. Getting a place here might be a challenge, however Dosa and rolls are awsome. We do not recommend cheese versions , however most people were ordering for the same but we have tried Mysore Masala Dosa, Palak Paneer Dosa, Onion Uttapam, Alu Roll. All the preparations were good in taste.
Another great street side dosa place is Babulnath dosa right opposite the temple. All kinds of street variety dosas, yummy and fresh are available here. My favorite is the mysore masala dosa, masala dosa, cheese sada. They also have grilled sandwiches which I haven't been able to try. They are slightly better managed than Narayan dosa.. However getting parking here can be very tricky, especially on weekends. But do try this place out!
Decent food. Amazing options in dosas. Little crowded on Sunday's but worth the wait. Personally i like mysore masala and maggi dosa over here.
Absolutely wonderful joint which serves good quality dosa's, pizza n uttapa's. It has a lot of variety to offer and the quality is up to the mark....Must visit place for all the foodies!!!
Wonderful joint in SoBo for delicious dosas! discovered it recently, and was surprised. not crowded like other places nearby, pretty calm n peaceful area. does not offer the variety of Ghatkopar dosa wala, but definitely will leave you licking your fingers! Try the paneer chilly cheese dosa for sure..
Dosa : All u want to try different varieties of dosa just go there. Mysore Masala, cheese dosa, just go on weekday u will get good time to eat. Sunday is too crowded or go little early.
When you want to have different types of dosas with amazing taste in south Bombay , this is the place for you ! Serves amazing variety of dosas with two tasty chuntneys . jini dosa is what Ashwini Varma suggested me to have and it was really worth having it. So one of the must visit places . pocket friendly and has really good crowd around . doesn't have any seating but you can take your car and have dosas in your car . park - eat - enjoy.
The best pocket friendly dosa place in South Mumbai . Babulnath dosa center has a great variety of dosas. Some of them really extraordinary. Jini masala dosa here is a must must try . It's a blend of South India and Italian flavors. Absolutely spicy. ... cheesy and yummy . Really a satisfying treat . The other dosas are fairly good in their flavor . When you go here do not expect sambar to be served with dosas . They serve two kinds of chutneys ....both of them very different in taste and perfectly do the job of adding the relishing taste to the dosas. This is a very popular place. Totally recommend. The rolls and chat is great too . Try the dahi puri here ... absolutely relishing .
Definitely a must visit it you like experimenting with your dosa ...
Situated bang opp babulnath temple..rightly situated....pockets gud crowd as it serves amazing south Indian...n other fast food....To start with sandwich uttapum that I prefer to eat generally....super duper in taste....typical Anna chatni....people gt their cars n have an eat out..rolls next to go for....say it aloo, panner, baby corn..all up to the mark...Mysore masala...chesse palak dosa....also a gud pick.... For chat lovers as my wife is one .....loves all that variety specially pani puri...over all....avoid huge lines at resto...n still right option to eat opposite om namah shivay!!!!
Over all
Right to eat
If you love dosa then come here.. One of the best dosa's i hv had here..!! N its worth the price... Loved d place????i wud love to visit this place again in near future..!!
Had been on working days at night and looked quiet deserted place situated right opposite famous babulnath temple. Felt very hungry and decided to stop and order dosa. Superb was the word I told when I had my first bite. Served with two chutney, all dosas we had were amazing. Tried their Nutella dosa which also tasted good. Good service. Friendly staff. Serves in car as well. Very reasonable price.
Come in your car order it and they serve you right there in your car. They have many varieties of Dosas. Its a roadside outlet of five star standard.
