One of my favorite restaurant which is famous for his sweet and farsans. But i think there snacks and sandwich also fabulous. Has I tried masala pav it was so delicious and masala flavor was so awesome that can able to describe it in more words. I think if you are foodie then you must there all food. Because they maintain there food hygiene and quality very well.if you are not able to go or not available to find the restaurant then you can oder it online because it is also available on zomato and swiggy.

Very old school when it comes to the ambience. You get mainly chat items on the menu. Seems quite old as well from the looks of it. Dahi Samosa is something you won't regret placing an order for

Chole bhature is just awesome and sweets are also really yummy

The sweets in the shop are really tasty as their look.Awesome❤️❤️

Chat items ordered were good but the chole bhature were horrible. Bhature were stale and so hard had to throw them all away. They may serve fresh at the shop but was a bad experience for drivery. So inedible you wouldn't feed leftovers even to a stray animal.

Biryani was delicious and loved the paneer in it. Dahi Batata Puri was good too . Good food.

Loved the Chole Bhatura - It was awesome
Was craving to have Pani Puri and the pani puri water was also outstanding.

One plate of chole bhatura is for 80 rupees. Cost is inexpensive. Chole is cooked in nice gravy. Bhatura which is made from all purpose flour is little but oily so if you are health conscious you might not like to try it. Taste is very good.

Best north indian snacks and sweets you get here. This is in lamington road where I was shopping some days back. Jalebi and samosa are awesome. You should try them at this place. We also took parcel for my family.

According to me this is the best sweet shop in this area. Have tried sweets and snacks here many time when I visit my uncle's house who stays near to this outlet.
I love the chole bhature and kachori the most from all their items.

Located outside Grant Road Railway station in Pannalal Terrace; Ghasitaram Halwai is well known for its inexpensive sweets and street food - especially Kala Jamun, Chole Bhature, Pav Bhaji and Dahu Batata Puri as well as flavoured lassis.

I like lassi and pav bhaji here... Whenever I'm around this place I make sure I take a halt here 🥰

Ghasitaram halwai is an age old brand known for its premium quality of sweets and snacks. I simply stepped in and looked around and all I could feel was the aroma of delicious food.

If I have to talk about the quality there are no faults I can find.
Very good clean and pure quality of food.
Cost is a slight concern because everything is just very expensive specially when you think of eating chaat and all.
Chintan
This is just outside of grant road railway station on lamington road. This entire area is always crowded except for sundays when most of the lamington road market is shut. Quality and quantity are fairly good but to be honest prices are a little too high because i do know some places around which are reasonable then this.

Tried Choley bhaturey... Was good in taste... Packed hygienically..
Good food.

We had a Celebration at office for this festive season.

Received a Box of these delicious sweets which made up everyone's mood.

The taste of every sweet was fabulous, but there were some sweets which were too sweet (contained lot sugar) for my liking.

Took it home for my family, everyone liked everything in it.👍

Hi friends! This place is one of the oldest and one of the best places for their punjabi food, snacks, bengali sweets and mithais. The chana bhatura/puri here is fabulous! They serve it with big fluffy puris and with amazing sweet mango pickle alongside. We tried the chaas which was lovely, the dahi batata puri was also amazing. All the dishes are tasty and they are priced very nominally. They have most of the traditional punjabi famous dishes like chole bhatura, rajma chawal, aloo puri, biryani etc. We also tried the pav bhaji and club sandwich which were great in taste.
We tried the mini gulabjamun and the mini rasgulla and we thoroughly enjoyed them. After all the yummy food we finally had a cup of tea and it felt like home!
We had some great food here and we would definitely recommend you this place.
They also do catering! The owner Mr Kapil Bajaj personally looks into it and what's special is that the pricing is very reasonable and they have maintained the taste and quality of their brand.

I ordered dahi kachori, it was extremely taste ,was a bit dry, but sweet dahi served along with compensated for all of it. Din't expect chole to be topped on dahi kachori.
Overall good taste.

After bad experiences of late delivery and non Co operative customer service, I switched to another food delivering app.
I thought of a comeback because of the Ranveer Singh's ad.
And woww what a comeback..... With Ghasitaram Halwai's Chhole Bhature. 😋 an amazingly upgraded app and timely delivery by Mr. Furkaan.
I hope you guys continue this amazing work.
All the best 👍

If you are tight on budget but still food is your life, do try #ghasitaram so affordable, with limited simple menu and great taste. Chola bhatura and Rajma chawal is my regular order.
If you want a quick snack or a lassi, look no further. Have drank their lassi earlier, and since I visited this place after a long time I tried Punjabi samosas and they tasted well with their tamarind and date chutney.

Excellent place for sweets and some food too.

Very reliable joint in terms of hygiene and quality of food.

While in Ghasitram, do not miss the Basundi.

This place has a very old school feel. But you can also feel the warmth. May be not when they have a lot of customers. I doubt if they are the original ghasitaram. But pav bhaji that I had here was awesome. Also the dessert. Affordable. Quick. Nobody gives such an elaborated salad with pav bhaji at the price of 70 bucks. Dessert: chhaina toast

A well known brand name which everyone is familiar with.
Famous for its chats and sweets.
Located on lamington road this place is hotspot for mithai.
I personally prefer the motichoor laddoo which dad gets whenever he visits for his work.
Other than that chats are average like any other chat outlet.
Not a halwa fan ( no idea about the flavour) , but yet my family enjoys it alot.

Very Limited seating available.
Good place.

Small, fine ambience. Quick service. The dahi samosa and the lassi is 10/10. You're sure to crave the chaats here. Amazing little place. The dahi batata puri is a 9/10. I'd recommend this place to people who crave the north indian kind of chaats.

Value for Money, is Ghasitaram's at Grant Road.
An aam aadmi eating place with good taste, clean, hygienic and prompt service. their array of sweets also deserve a mention in being decent at a decent rate.
Surprisingly, they do not have any other branches.
A nice option for vegetarian snacks street food and sweets.

Ghasitaram Halwai don't need any introduction. They are the pioneers in providing quality sweets, breakfast-lunch and dinner meals.
Their existence goes pre- independence when India and Pakistan were one.
Their Karachi halwa and Kaju Pista burfi were few of their specialities which till date after so many decades rule this industry.
We have ordered many-a-times bulk orders during weddings in the family circle, or during Baby Shower as a return gift.
The owners at the Grant Road outlet are very humble and have/had placed their orders on time.

My dad told me about this place as he was a regular there during his school days. So we all decided to try it! The chhole is lovely! I didn't like the samosa much but my dad loves it. And the sweets here are very good too.

Been here yesterday after years and it hasn't disappointed me . The taste is still the same & with good pricing . I loved everything I ordered along with my friend. One should never miss to order - Choole Bhature, Jamuns LASSI !!!!
Shashank Aggarwal
Went there on a Sunday morning to try puri aloo. Was very disappointing. They just boil the potatoes and mix with the chhole bhaji. Not a very nice thing.

Ghasitaram's is well known to people as one of the inexpensive sweet shops across the city..

The Bengali Sweets here, are a delight..! You can't miss out on their Malai Sandwiches..So fresh and yummy!! THE r as Malai, Kala Jamun, Gulab Jamun is better than most other sweet joints..

Apart from only sweets, the kachoris, samosas & chaats too are superb in this place...The samosa chutney is my favourite here..I tried their Lassi too, a couple of times..It's fabulously viscous!! With lots of Malai on the top..!! They have flavours too!! (Mango, Rose..)

In Chaats, Dahi Batata Puri & Bhel Puri are fabulous..
The main thing I love here is their quality of keeping things the same way they always have..

DESSERTS/SWEETS: 4.5/5
CHAATS: 4.5/5
VALUE-FOR-MONEY: 5/5

OVERALL: 4.5/5

While Ghasitaram Halwai certainly isn't fancy, the Chhole Bhature and the Pav Bhaji here are really, really good!

The Pav Bhaji, in particular, is truly among the most different Pav Bhaji's you'll have had - the masala used is truly unique and the consistency is much much thicker than most Pav Bhaji's
