Superb place for some toast and chai. Had malai toast and kesaria chai. Malai toast was superbly made and the flavours in the kesaria chai were amazing and leave a very good taste in the end. To top it up they have a huge variety of pans. We had chocolate icey pan, superbly made. Over all a great place.

This is really good, on go side cafe. An open cafe, along the side of busy street really refreshes you.
Their chai is really good one to try. Mirpuri pulao is a real good snack, with cheese spread, a must try!
Also, this is really inexpensive, with really helpful staff, but sometimes crowded.

A cute cafe by the roadside with open seating, perfect fr meetups. Their famous for their matka coffee and of course matka chai. V evn tried the bhel there. A variety of other snacks are also available. Pocket friendly n breezy space to b in.

This is a nice place to have a nice cup of tea served in a traditional kulhad (clay cup). They do have a few interesting choices of snacks to go with the tea. I personally like the poha and cheese mirpuri pulao, they're worth a try.
The place is located in busy office and shopping area, where a hot cup of tea is a great option. The only downside to this place is the space, it's a tiny establishment to be honest and can only seat around 4 people at a time.

Chaos Control Cafe has many outlets among them Parel Outlet is situated near Parel Bridge. Seating arrangement is quite congested..but well maintained. Cafe is famous for Tandoor Chaii and Toast.
As our classes got over we headed towards Chaos Control Cafe to enjoy the best Tandoor Chaii.
We ordered tandoor Chaii and Kolkata Toast..the combo is just at Ruppes 75/- we loved the taste and combination of chai and Toast.
Service was great..staff was friendly.

Chaos control is a perfect corner to chill out with friends with cup of tea. It's an open place. Road side stall with their own twist. Khullad ki chai and their snacks are just amazing. Everything here is very minimal. Its mostly crowded.

So this a tiny little place at lal baug with tables around the footpath. It's a really good experience to observe the hustle bustle of the city while sitting with a cup of tea and reflecting on your thoughts.
we ordered Masala tea, phudina, jeera, dhaniya and butter toast and also cheese spread pulao.
Tea: It's was absolutely on the mark. A hot cup if full fat milk tea in kullad topped with a hint of saffron was an absolute refreshing experience
Phudina toast: two nice thick slices of bread topped with dry phudina masala was a nice and a novel combo with tea
Dhaniya toast:It was the everyday chutney on a spicy side was refreshing after the rich taste of tea.
Jeera toast: The spicy tangy gujarati jiralu powder on freshly toasted bread cut though the richness of tea and phudina toast
Butter roast: Being a butter lover I was not happy with the amount of butter on the toast but the bread didn't melt when I dipped it in my tea and that made me very happy
Cheese pulao: Not a great combination with tea. It was just fried bread topped with cheese spread and masala and was not upto the mark. Although if you are a pure cheese lover you may enjoy the creaminess.
So in all its a really good place to go anytime of the day or night have the basic chai and toast with a really good experience. A great place for a casual date as well.
One thing i love about this place is a sitting arrangement n tea...earlier they used to serve varanasi toast which was my fav n used to bring back childhood memories of ' malai paav' hope they start it back..their kesar chai is a must.!

This place is placed at the corner junction right before the lower parel exit from parel junction. This place has a local shop feel and delivers a small menu of snacks and some lipsmacking tea.
With traditionally inspired breakfast options like poha, varanasi toast, zafrani chai, manpuri pulav this is a great place to stop by if your cab aint moving.
Tried the tea, poha and varanasi toast here in the morning to take a break from the traffic, having experienced these dishes in their true form in indore and varanasi where these dishes are best served, i can vouch for it that this is the closest i have experienced these tastes outside of their main cities.
Loved it, small setup, quick service, value for money and preserves the chai tapri kinda feel.. Not the best place for conversations unless you can beat the traffic noise.

I love this place. We go there in groups and enjoy the kulhad wali chai and poha and different varieties of toast they offer.
Very earthly and rustic feel in their servings. Its our go to place in the evenings after a hectic day at work.
This small tucked down Cafe located at Parel is bustling with people. Go any hour of the day, it is busy. The vibes are very casual and cool. They have small tables and chairs where you can sit and eat. I had visited this place around 12.09 am and it was full, so you can imagine how famous it is. Its mainly famous for Kesar kulhad chai. We had ordered for it and loved the taste. Another hot selling item here is Varanasi Makhan toast. This is one of the soecity toast which you cannot miss here and we had ours with sprinkle of pepper and sugar. Oh, what a delightful experience it was. Loved it so much. I recommend it and I am surely visiting this place again to try out more options.

This place is just 10-15 mins walk from Prabhadevi/Parel station. And I have always seen this place being crowded.
The best thing about the cafe is that it opens at 6:30am in the morning and is open till 12:30am at night. It's a open cafe with good amount of seating just outside the Counter. The service is quick and the staff is attentive.

1) Kolkata Wali Chai
Kulhad chai with kesar on the top. It's a pure Bliss and trust me chai lovers and even not a chai lover wont stop just have one cup. It's really good and refreshing.
2) Varanasi ka Toast - Cheese Spread
Fresh and Nicely Toasted 2 slices of bread cut in half with cheese spread of the top is a perfect combo with Chai.
3) BhelPuri
A dry bhel served in roadside. No Chutneys but fresh and tasty.
4) Mirpuri Pulao
Something which I personally disliked and won't recommend. Its basically Rice puffs in different flavors.

I was traveling to town and spotted this open tea joint on my way. Ever since I’ve found this place I’ve been visiting them at least 4 times a week . It’s located right next to a petrol pump. They have an outdoor seating with comfortable chairs and small tables . Very simple menu and the chai ( tea ) is very flavourful. I’ve even got their tea home delivered a few times and to my surprise they sent along the kullhads ( clay tea cups ) . A plate of pulao ( bread cubes tossed in butter and drizzled with liquid cheese goes really well with the tea . A must visit place for all the chai lovers .

Okay so this one of my favorite road side cafe. Yes you heard it right, CHAOS CAFE is small cute road side cafe at parel,they have all outside seating, their speciality is chai(tea). This is the great place to hangout with friends,talk,date etc. If you're are chai(tea) lover or non chai lover you must visit this place. I never used to drink chai(tea) but when I visited this place I started loving chai and now I frequently visit this place once a week.

Simplicity is divinity. Simple things in life often give the most pleasure and Chaos Control Cafe proves it in droves.
It brings the sense of tapir back to the life! A cool modern tapri with open air chairs & funky tabletops (they also have umbrellas to protect from searing heat,if you are worried about that!) and the main kitchen area with all those funky graffiti, it is pretty hard to miss.
Park yourself on the funky chairs and enjoy everything on the menu, at a princely sum of Rs. 35 per dish. You read it right. Rs. 35 for chai/ toasts/ sherbets/ paan which make up the whole menu. Rs. 35 that is for everything on the menu! In an age where we think that there is no better place to chill at those cafes charging Rs. 200 for (often) watery coffees, there is also Chaos Control Cafe! Get the pleasure of observing Dadar - Parel area's humdrum of life for free along with a cool, carefree breeze that refuses to stop plying here.

Kolkata Wali Chai-
There is something special to drink tea in a kulhad. The satisfaction that a Chai lover gets on drinking it from that Kulhad is something different altogether, with that earthen smell and flavor. And the chai itself was delicious and full bodied.

I tried out Sherbets (with soda) and loved them, perfectly refreshing for the sultry summers we have been suffering through.
Wonder when we became so old that childhood feels so far away? Anyway, at Rs. 25 a cup, these sherbets are a complete steal for the punch that they pack in each sip.
I order Poha everytime which is kind of ok. They do provide masala boondi with it but I need namkeen and jiraman as well.
Pulao is not good. I have to waste my time and throw it down the drain each time I ordered. So will not be ordering that anymore.
This place is really good for chilling with your friends or family. The chai and coffee is really famous. I prefer coffee so it is really good. And it is also cheap. Near panwala provides some delicious paan!

This place is very small. But they serve amazing tea here. It is a popular place for breakfast. The popular food served here is poha, Toast Butter and Tea.
We enjoy having Breakfast at this place. The only thing is there is a very less place to accommodate the guests here.
~ Chaos Control Cafe ~
A breezy, open roof, road side eatery which will soon be known as one of the shining gems in Hindamata area of Parel. The place has a youngish hippie vibe with helpful and soft spoken staff to serve you on a wonderful cool and breezy evening.
Server Rishikesh was quite sweet to introduce us to their two new restaurant
start-up brands 'Rice Bar' & '9600 BC'. I have posted their respective menu cards below. The price is very pocket friendly and great on taste and quantity. Rishikesh also made us taste their 'Pav Bhaji' from their new restaurant start up 'Bhaji Pav'. The taste was quite good with Brown Pavs used as Pav.

Kolkatta Kesar Chai - INR 30/- per cup. Aromatic to the core with real taste of the tea powder served in traditional Kulhad.

Pro Tips : Post shopping at Hindamata factory outlets, this is a great spot to relax.
Difficult to get a seat on weekends..They have seating area on Roadside foothpath you can chill with cup of tea and some snacks...The Service too is good very Friendly Staff

If any one near to this location and wants tea, then this is the right place to go and have it. Their kulaad masala tea wid some kesar on top gives amazing taste. Their indori poha and various type of toasts are worth to have it. Especially the jeeravan, pudina, and achari toast.
It's my favorite chai cafe always with my friend. As this place is good I enjoy drinking sip by sip kesariya chai while talking with my group.There are other various menu like jam and bread which takes you to your childhood memories.
My most favorite kulhad chai outlet! The tea is amazing and absolutely worth trying even if you're not a tea person. I had cheese corn sandwich which was good too. I've heard that malai sugar toast is one more dish worth trying but is only available till the fresh cream lasts and I visited a bit late so could not try it out. It gets crowded in evenings and seating arrangement is limited so you might have to wait. But the area is breezy throughout hence the experience is really good.
If you want to enjoy a cup of tea, no better place than this. Indori pohe are good too, so are the malai toasts. Avoid others

Surrounded by three prestigious hospitals located at a prime location this place gets crowded quickly in the evening.
I'm a 'tea enthusiast'. Chai was refreshing, served in kullad with kesar toppings. Subtle with fresh smell this tea is worth trying. Snack was average thought. Open sitting makes it a attractive place.
Nice location. Interesting road facing seating. Good quality good at very reasonable rates. Poha was amazing. The bread biryani was just fine.
This little tea place is my go to cafe atleast once every week . The kulhad chai and butter toast is my default order .the best part about the tea is the kesar added in the tea . The bread toast is just amazing . In other things poha and mirpuri pulao are a must try

The place is small but the Tea we drank was amazing,the snacks too were delicious there was seating arrangement as well. All in all you should try this place.
Nice place chaos specialise in kullad ki chai, must try Varanasi and mirpuri pulaoka toast is really tasty place is also affordable but place is crowdy in evening and night,great environment
