Awesome! I am thankful that I was recommended this place. They make the starters and main course with equal finesse. They are delivering all over Mumbai, which is great during the lockdown. It's a nice, small, cozy place located in Lokhandwala. We dined on a weekday at lunch time so it was not very crowded.We had ordered Crispy Chicken as an appetizer along with some refreshing Lemon Iced Tea and ended our meal with Triple Schezwan Chicken Fried Rice. The chicken crispy was very well cooked and extremely flavourful, mouth watering and crispy.The chicken was marinated with perfection so was it succulent.The triple schezwan fried rice was delectable and the gravy(chicken Manchurian) complemented the rice beautifully.The iced tea was unique and one of the most aromatic of any I have had.The sweetness of the iced tea was perfectly balanced with the flavour of lemon. The quantities of the food dishes were large and sufficient for two people. It would have been a near perfect experience, if the chicken in the triple schezwan fried rice had been cooked a bit more.Talking about the staff here,they were very polite and the service was appreciable!

After having this place on my bookmarks for almost a year, I finally tried out the place and I regret not coming here earlier. Definitely one of the finest places in the neighbourhood. The staff is very friendly and informative. The portion size is also more than enough for two people for almost everything we ordered.
- we ordered crispy vegetables to begin with and it was really delicious, even though a little spicy, but that’s how it is ideally supposed to be and I’m sure they’d regulate that if asked to. It was more than enough for two people.
- we ordered their special combos with veg Hakka noodles and gravy which was again delicious and one of the finest Hakka I have had, hands down. They were kind enough to replace chicken with veg noodles and served it with chicken lollipop for a friend. The noodles was delicious.
- for desserts, we ordered honey fried noodles with ice cream, and that too was good, we just had a little trouble picking it up with the spoon. Other than that, the flavour of the sesame just made it nice and was a great dish otherwise.
A definite must try and probably my go to Chinese restaurant now. Would recommend for sure. They have a very good variety and amazing service and the owner is also very friendly. Special thanks to Saurabh also for helping us with stuff and being helpful.

Who knew bylanes would ever house beautiful looking restaurants that are quite the rage in and around their locality. Finding Downtown China was a miracle and the food was lipsmacking. Surrounded amongst families making noise like a bunch of teenage girls was looked down upon and we were slightly cautious to not piss the aunty next to us. Their entrées seemed rather appetising and we dived right into them.
Crispy Chicken: If sweet and salty is your thing, don't do lemonade rather head for a crispy chicken entrée. A smidgen of schezwan sauce that is pungent and spicy adding the peppery flavour along with sweet soy sauce (I believe) made the chicken super yum. Laid on a bed of deep fried spinach this dish was rather a refreshing change. However the generous use of oil was a rad bit disappointing and that is why the dish does not score a 5 on 5! (4/5)
Vegetable Garlic Rice: Long grained rice that is bursting with flavours. I love it when Chinese dishes retain the crunch of the carrots and French beans. And Downtown China did just that. The rice had a strong hint of garlic and was cooked Al dente making it delicious while retaining ten flavours of the sauces used. The portion is generous for two people to share and we were rather pleased to know that we could serve ourselves a second serving despite the serving bowl looking like a bowl that could be handy for just one. Basil Chicken Chilli: We were craving for something spicy and nice. Basil Chicken Chilli helped us with just that. The gravy was brilliantly thick that had a strong dose of cornflour, which could perhaps be slightly less. The chicken was juicy, very tender, and big. We gorged onto this one like no one's watching. We had so much to catch up on and even while we were hogging like piglets we couldn't help stuff food in our mouth and continue our mini banter. (4/5)
I think this place fits the idea of a hidden gem because it has some delicious options on the menu and the service is super quick and friendly. You must certainly visit this place with family or maybe even friends as long as you're not surrounded by families and their aunties that judge you even if you simply happen to giggle.
We changed our mind at the last moment & trooped into Down Town China seeing a good number of people dining in there.
Clean interiors & lovely bit of air conditioning was the first impression along with the pleasant reception.
We ordered a Thupka soup along with Momos, both the dishes were excellent.
Fresh cutlery was provided for the main course which was a fish dish & fried rice. The restaurant was not only full of guests but was also getting a load of delivery orders.

And I have to say enjoyed Chinese after a long time!
Ordered the Veg Manchurian pot rice, veg hakka noodles and Veg stir fry gravy
Order on time, food piping hot, great packaging!
The Veg Manchurian rice, good quantity, but this is the dish that bought down the ranking by 1, it was decent but the rice was oily and extremely spicy, when we had requested for less spicy!
The Veg hakka noodles, good quantity, very less oil and delicious!
The Veg stir fry gravy was amazing! Loved the taste and was spot on the spice!

Went in with a client since he was having a Chinese craving and a quick zomato search brought me to this place and boy o boy was it a worth it visit.
We had momos which were sumptuous and simply melted in mouth.
Their Thai curry is a must try also we had rice with chicken chilly and it was really yummy.
By the time we finished didn't had much space for deserts but next visit is in now real soon.

⚜️ Momos - though we tried the assorted momos which has steamed + fried Momos and the crispy chicken Momos in Manchurian sauce but the Momos was little dry.
⚜️ Soup - mixed seafood thukpa and mixed seafood burnt garlic I would highly recommend if you are a garlic lover. I seriously love this soup.
⚜️ Starters - Fish Teriyaki dry is one dish we loved. The sauce was perfect and the fish was super fresh. Amazing taste. Kudos to the chef here.
⚜️ Mains - Thai chicken Sizzler with rice. Now this will blow your mind as this is a match made in heaven. Superb sauce and everything combines well on the platter.
⚜️ Dessert - Sizzling walnut brownie was a decadent dish. The portion is huge and good for 4. 2 pieces of brownies comes with 2 scoops of ice cream, vanilla and chocolate. I would recommend this. We also had the cookie sandwich ice cream which tasted good but dint look like a sandwich.

1. ASSORTED CHICKEN MOMOS : A plate full of steamed as well as pan fried momos...the filling however wasnt juicy and tasted pre-made and stored...not the best momo ive had!!!
2. CRISPY CHICKEN MOMOS IN MANCHURIAN SAUCE : The manchurian sauce was good...had the right amount of spice and garlic however the issue with the momos was the same!!!
3. CHICKEN PLATTER : The platter seemed interesting coz it had chicken lollipop x 4, chicken spring roll x 4, chicken manchurian and chicken wings in manchurian sauce x 4...first of all the manchurian same sauce was used almst in all dishes. and secondly the spring roll also felt the store bought and frozen ...chicken too tasted a lil different!!!
4. FISH TERIYAKI DRY⭐⭐⭐⭐ : Basa fish pieces batter fried and tossed in a teriyaki sauce was cooked to perfection...the sauce was sweet and sour that tasted scrumptuous...loved this dish...MUST HAVE!!!

Superb food ...great Chinese after long time..ordered 2combos n one noodles. The best was Thai green curry..though curry quantity should have been little more. The quality of rice n noodles were outstanding. Not so good ...the Manchurian had salt on higher side however the quality of balls were perfect. Again gravy was on lesser side. The garlic was missing in chilly garlic noodles. The accompaniments spring rolls, schewan sauce, khicmchi were excellent. Would definitely order again.

I love authentic Chinese food, ordered from this place and absolutely loved the food, very few places serve good Chinese food and Downtown China is one of them. I ordered the following dishes :
Starters - Barbeque chicken - boneless chicken marinated with a good amount of BBQ suace, bell peppers absolutely yummy, the chicken was tender and the pieces were of a good size.
Teriyaki chicken wings - Chicken wings is one of my favourite especially in bbq sauce but teriyaki wings are my new favourite. The marination of the meat was really commendable, the meat was juicy and had all the flavours of the teriyaki style. The meat also was cooked very well.
Mains - went with my all time favourite Chicken green Thai curry with steamed rice, the curry had a perfect texture and consistency and the flavours just perfect.
Dessert - tried something new for dessert, churolls with chocolate sauce. It is a fried dough in the shape of finger rolls with sugar coating and chocolate sauce to go with it. It was really good but could have been better with regards to taste.
This place has a generous servings in all its dishes so be careful while ordering you may end up ordering more that you can finish. Will definitely try out more dishes from here.

What I did tried was chicken schezwan lollipop and spring roll for appetizers. Both were good. Although I would suggest to go and eat there if you want to try lollipop because of the crispiness you'll get. And chicken triple schezwan rice and crispy noodles were also good. Assorted veg momos: this place is also well known for momos. Different kinds of momos, Cheesy and properly cooked!
Veg wonton: super thin and crispy outer layer and vegetable filling in between with delicious taste.
Sizzler:
Veg exotic: served with tossed vegetables with great flavoured sauce served with rice/noodles or both.
Chicken teriyaki: perfectly marinated chicken with delicious sauce and veggies. Also served with rice/noodles or both.
Deserts:
Chocolate brownie mousse: very delicious and smooth texture!
Sizzling walnut brownie: wonderful brownie served with 2 flavoured icecreams (vanilla and chocolate) and hot chocolate sauce. A perfect desert to end the meal!
Also the staff is great, polite and friendly.
Downton China is a great value for money Chinese restaurant. You should definitely visit the place to get a taste of some authentic Chinese cuisine. The staff is very polite and will assist you to choose a dish. Food quality and ambience is up to the mark and among the best.

We had placed an order for dinner while at work through Zomato and inspite of the order being fully paid upfront the zomato application cancelled this order abruptly. Anjana, the restaurant owner was very kind and proactively called me to let us know that she will still have the order delivered considering it was delayed already before zomato cancelled it.
We had order a Chicken triple rice, Peri Peri Chicken and a portion of lollypops all of which were very sumptuous and had fresh ingredients. The chicken was soft and well prepared and the servings and portions were more than enough for 2 people.
Even post the trouble that was caused by zomato, both the restaurant owners Anjana and Amit made sure our experience with their food was nothing less than delectably enriching.. Thank you again.
A good place which serves one of the best Chinese good in Mumbai. I tried their chicken lollipop which tasted well and was not burnt. Sizzlers were amazing too.Do try their shakes and chocolate sizzling brownie. Apart from this every food was cooked perfectly and did not have ajinomoto.

Editing my review earlier. Rating this is a 4 for the service provided. The owners value the customer's feedback. That's great to see. I got a chicken lollypop replaced with another dish as the chicken lollypop was stale. The management got me a quick response and a free desert too.

I wasn’t disappointed. Small place in the by lanes of shastri nagar Lokhandwala.

First of all this place is located in peaceful arena of Shastri Nagar which was the reason why we choose this restaurant . About food we ordered manchow soup which was worth ordering then for starter we ordered momos fried in manchurian sauce and peri peri paneer which we’re too good and for main course we ordered Singapore style rice which disappointed me a bit. Talking about interior they were quite calming yet exquisite. The staff was friendly the only thing that disappointed me was they were a bit slow in their service

Tiny restaurant tucked in a quiet lane of Shstrinagar. We decided to venture in to try Chinese at a new place, and a good decision that was.
Their Lemon Coriander soup (we tried chicken) was awesome, and the Manchow soup didn't disappoint either.
Had the fried veg wantons, that came with a reasonably good filling. The red pepper chicken didn't impress us at all, and was probably the only dish we didn't like...
Main course
Green chilli garlic fried rice.. was a different and pleasant change to the regular fried rice..
The veg in chilli basil sauce was really nice, and liked by all.. so were the Burmese Noodles... 🍜(Almost like Khowsuey)
Overall good experience, with a fresh taste and twist to Chinese!

Last evening visited a place called Downtown China it is located at Andheri Lokhandwala.
One of the best place for Chinese food where you can hangout with your family & friends.
I have ordered following items:-
1) Chilly garlic chicken fried rice
2) Burnt garlic chicken noodles
3) Peper garlic chicken
All the items were freshly prepared and well packed.
For the first time I tried paper garlic chicken and it was amazing in taste it looks similar like BBQ chicken but it taste different.
Burnt garlic chicken noodles was good and even the quantity of all the items was sufficient.
Overall my experience was good with Downtown China Andheri

With crispy and crunchy momo base stuffed with veggies and served with schezwan sauce on the side its the best way to have chinese staters. Loved the concept amd taste.
• Crispy Veg Fried Rice
Presentation and taste wise the dish was superb. It is served in a large bowl with fried rice on the bottom and topped with vegtable crispy all over the rice. The dish was spicy , crispy and amazing.
• Dessert
Sizzlling Walnut Brownie
Two walnut brownie topped with chocolate and vanilla ice cream, and chocolate syrup all over the desert.

“Downtown China is for the authentic Chinese cuisine lovers”
They have 4 outlets in Mumbai so far and this one has the highest ratings so we ended up here. They specialise in authentic Chinese dishes and target the foodies who crave that.
We went to this place in late afternoons of a Saturday and it was very busy. We got a table as soon as we went. Thanks to the courteous staff. The place is well maintained with regards to the ambiance and hygiene.
We started with a MANCHOW SOUP which was very well prepared (PS: I just love the fried noodles with schezwan sauce). Then came the CRISPY CHILLI POTATOES which was ok. We then had VEG BURNT GARLIC RICE with chilly gravy in which gravy was quite uniquely made. Desserts had quite a few options but because of short of time we went for the quick option of CHOCOLATE BROWNIE MOUSSE with ice cream. It was different but delicious. A recommended place for Chinese cuisines lovers.

A Great Place to Dine in For some Authentic and Lip Locking and Delicious Chinese Cuisine..
The Ambience is Pretty Good decorated with Artificial Flowers and Dim light Bulbs and a Painting on a wall.
So we Started up with a Soup and Appetizers.
1:- Chicken Lemon Corainder:- A Mixture of Tangy and Corainder soup with small Pieces of Chicken was too Good to Taste and Energetic
2:- Mixed Seafood Burnt Garlic :- A Basa Fish was Served in a Manchurian Style with a gravy in it. As it was tossed with Garlic and cashew in it. Which was delicious and spicy in Taste.
3:- Chicken Schezewan Platter:- This Platter consist of a 4 Dishes such as Chicken Lollypop,Prawns Manchurian, Fish Manchurian , Chicken Schezewan All it was very Delicious and Mind-blowing chef just Nailed out the Tatse.
4:- Chicken Thai Curry with Jeera Rice :- A spicy Green Color Chicken Gravy was too Delicious and Mind-blowing to eat along with a Jeera Rice..
5:- And we Ended up with sweet Dessert such as Honey Fried Noodles with Vanilla Ice cream which was too Good and Delicious to Taste. it was too sweet to Tooth Buds.

Had order the following dishes :-
- Chicken Crispy:- Crispy was juicy with amazing flavour. Chicken was properly marinated and cooked. It was in great quantity.
-Chicken lollipop:- Lollipop was super crispy. Schezwan chutney was stunning loved the taste. Lollipop was less oily.
- Chicken tripple fried rice:- The rice was stunning in taste with adequate amount of chicken pieces and noddles. It was served with chicken gravy which was fabulous in taste.
Packing was done great. There was no leakage. Dry noddles was given to us as complimentary. Delivery was on time with proper care. Quality as well as quantity was great.

What I had -
Veg Manchow Soup - it is the perfect start to your meal. The soup is delicious served with lots of veggies and fried noodles.
Veg Spring Roll - they are crispy and tasty. Alot of veggies are stuffed in the spring roll. The quantity is great .
Chilli Paneer - soft pieces of paneer tossed into gravy. Not very spicy and taste great.
Sizzling Veg Manchurian - This one's a sizzler. It comes with hakka noodles, manchurian, french fries and veggies.
Sizzling Walnut Brownie - This one's also a sizzler. You get 2 pieces of walnut brownie with a scoop of vanilla and chocolate ice cream. The brownie is soft and the dish is a perfect end to your meal. A must try !
Minty Melon, Green Apple Mint Mojito - both the drinks a awesome. The Minty Melon has a sweet taste and the Green Apple Mint is a bit sour taste.

1)Peri Peri Chicken
It was a chicken starter...So we started we Peri peri chicken and the taste was very good...Chicken was very well cooked in Peri Peri sauce and with capsicum it was spicy as well.
But with drinks it was very good to eat.
2)Crispy Veg Noodles
This was a very good noodles as it had a topping of veg Manchurian balls on top and then at the bottom there was fried noodles..
So basically we had to mix both the thing at eat...which gave an extra texture to the food and it made this something unique...
3)Crispy Manchurian Fried rice
A Chicken fried rice which was damn good...
It had a Manchurian balls in itself with high quality of rice in it.
Rice was enough in quantity for almost 3 person at a time...
Quality of the food was very good and high quality.
A good place to order some Chinese food.

This place is near infinity mall, Andheri Lokhandwala, Andheri west. The best chinese food restaurant in the locality. Reason for saying best is they don't use Ajinomoto. They offer both dining and pickup.
I ordered :-
1) Chicken lollipop- The lollipop without Ajinomoto was very tasty😋. I really loved it.
2)Chicken crispy- The chicken crispy was better than all the restaurants I tried before. The chicken was so fresh with proper crisp coating.
3) Chicken chillisauce(gravy)- I ordered this just for two but the quantity they gave was sufficient for three. It had 8 small pieces of chicken. The chicken chilli sauce was cooked properly without Ajinomoto.

Chicken Wing's of Fire was well prepared with appropriate spices added. I prefer to have this one to all the chinese lover have spicy hunger pangs in such dishes. The sauce and even the veggies and chicken were freshly prepared and mixed.
Chicken Chilli Sauce Gravy is almost the heart of chinese hoggers. It was one my favourite with all these chicken chunks tossed in amazing chilli garlic and sauces.
Chicken Chilli Garlic Fried Rice was a combination one with chilli flakes, burnt garlic and rice combined. They prepared it with less oil which is really good for your health even best to go with the gravy was having chicken chunks.
Lemonade was an amazing dilute for the heavy brunch. Just loved and had great experience.

Visited with my friend at "Downtown China" a good decent Chinese restaurant with a reasonable price. Located at Andheri Lokhandwala in Andheri West you can come by bus which will take at least 15 to 20 minutes or can take an auto but if you are visiting at rust hours I suggest you to take bus unless you want to pay 80 bucks for auto. Now let's talk about the food & ambience it's a small place and divided into two parts you can sit inside with A/C, live music & Big TV Screening or outdoor where you can set and relax the outdoor view & chill out. In indoor around 10 to 12 people can once sit at the time about the outdoor 12 to 15 people can enjoy there meal!!! Also forgot to mention about a wall painting which is inside an amazing piece of art. About the food it's was delicious and served hot made from fresh ingredients. Staff was also good at there work and quickly response to you.
