This place is located in the bylanes of Goregaon West. Know specifically for its variants of omelet only. Yes they don't serve bhurji. The masala is to die for. It's the only omelette centre which serves chutney along with. And to mention they still use AMUL butter for the preparation. Must must visit place. It's a family run over a decade old and very familiar with egg lovers around the area.
Must visit during winters to try the spicy version of the good old double omelette with double butter.
My go to place in Goregaon for super delicious egg omlettes. Must try 'double pe double'. It is quite a hygienic place considering a street food joint which only serves eggs.
The only drawback is that it opens only in evening.
It is a very simple yet famous place to have omlettes and half fry eggs prepared with Desi eggs only. They only serve omlettes and half fry eggs which is very delicious and have a different taste which you will never get anywhere else.

This place is wow, this was established before the birth if jesus christ, selling omelets and sunnyside for a bomb price.
AnD worth all the money, too good to be true
Super crowded place serving super amazing food.
I love this place to the core. They have the best combination of half fry and omelete their double pe double ,its aboustely fabulous made with Desi Eggs . could never be bored of the omeletes served here.
I have been eating here since i was a child thei speciality is they make only in desi eggs which makes it taste different and better also they use their own homemade masalas which is very rare these days only real egg lovers will know what i am talking about
Ordered double omelette pe double fried egg with butter pav. Food was awesome they used desi eggs along with amul butter served with green chutney and onion. The fineness of freshly cut onion and green spicy chilli chutney enhance the taste. Amul Buttered pav tastes yummy with tava masala. Feast for eggatarian must try with cheese and best is while eating ordered food order more fried egg or single omelette which he makes in front and serve you right there.
Ambience doesn't matter you have stand and eat. If you are lucky then you may get corridor katta to sit.
Food Awesome and delicious.
10/10
Service:- they should add 1 more station. Currently 2 people prepares.
My friend took me to this place in goregao west MG ROAD , before this they used to have run this place near station. I love there omelette and special masala which they put in there preparation.

DOUBLE OMLETE PEH DOUBLE HALF FRY š
YNWA
Undoubtedly the best!! There are many omelet locations in Mumbai and all are similar but this is completely different since they use their in-house masalas to make the omelet taste unexpectedly delicious!
11/10 dish.
Heaven for eggeterians... Being a non vegetarian omlet is something not on the top list but have tried his dishes n just loved it... Good food with decent ambience
Thaakurrrrr!!!!
I love this place to the core... My husband introduced me to this place... A simple stall kind of place which is decently done in a shop with stand and eat set-up... This place opens at 8pm and shuts by 10:30ish....
They are an expert in Omlette Paav... Dishes are named as Ek pe Ek, Do pe Ek, or Do pe Do... Which means one whole egg Omlette with One half fry egg on it with an amazing black masala and lots of green chillies (you can request them to put less while placing an order) made in Amul Butter... and Fresh soft Paav's are roasted in Amul butter served with finely chopped onions and yummy green chutney.... And yes you can go on ordering for extra Paav's and it's given nicely hot n roasted in butter..... They are a team of 4 brothers and they all work nicely together.... The one taking the order keeps an eye on every customer and asks for any extra chutney or paav required...
We have a regular visit at this place for our dinner atleast once a month...
Image: Do pe Do..... :)
Service : 5/5

Price : 4.5/5 (Yes it's a bit bit pricey for an anda paav)
I Very recently visited this place. simple place.
I simply loved th omlets...double pe double is what is alwys prefer.
* Double pe Double with cheese is my favššš
The species make it more special. Instant preparations... U will love it and tempt for more and more ā¤
I mostly visit with my friend in evng time for instant food.
The only reason that drives us crazy to rate this place 4 out of 5 is the TASTE. As for us TASTE is the primary vital factor to judge any food dish or place.
This place is a small shop where two brothers are doing their job best, listening to some Hindi songs while showing some excellent speedy chopping skills. Its their family business thatās been running this place for years serving unique delicious spicy egg dishes. I agree that this place is not very clean or hygienic but the food her is the sole reason for being famous.
Ā
The place opens up at 7 in the evening serving egg dishes like: Omelette, Burji Pav but their specialty is ādo pe doā aka double half fry on omelette (which is 2 eggs omelette served with 2 half fry eggs on top of it). We have visited this place twice and the Taste has not changed at all. This small place with rustic benches to sit and eat is anytime a good idea to fill your tummy with Hot spicy eggs than a fancy dinner.
Double pe single / Do pe Do /Double pe double is what you will chant after visiting this place. Recommending this place to all Eggetarians/spicy/mid-night junky lovers. One of the hidden food outlet gems situated in Goregaon West, Mumbai.
A must Try.
Ā Also we ordered the famous and delicious 'Do pe Do' (have attached the water drooling pictures below).Ā

Ande Ka Adda ??? Google map should direct you to Thakurs at M. G. Road, Goregaon west.
Thakurs remind me of Adda with no sitting arrangement with a small platform inside the place to eat while standing and a Katta at the entrance of a place :-)
Double pe single or Do pe Ek or Double pe double... you shall hear people ordering.
They have their uniqueness in serving omelettes with unique masala and chopped onions and chutney.
A must hangout place in night when you want to load yourself with deliciously made eggs instead of regular dinner!
one of the best places to have half fried eggs
they have a particular variations which can only be found here itself.
overall a decent place to curb hunger-pangs
They have the best combination of half fry and omelette their āDouble Pe Doubleā itās absolutely fabulous made with Desi Eggs. They have great service and I frequent this place once a month
lovely place for egg lovers. this place doesn't have a wide food menu, it just serves limited dishes. the best here is the commonly called do pe do( which is an 2 eggs omelette served with 2 eggs half fried on top of it). it's lovely and a definite try. there is no sitting at this place.
I visit this place very frequently, its the best place for egg lovers. The menu only includes omlette and half fry, but its completely worth.
Must try : Double decker cheese omlette
Since years, āOmlette-Pavā = Thakurās!
Serves very peculiar tasting omlettes- the black pepper masala is the game changer. Keep in mind that the joint Serves no Bhurji, Gotala, etc. just plain old Omlettes, Half-fries. Donāt miss out on the chutney, tomato salad- it adds to the overall taste.
Most of the customers that you bump into are regulars. The place and plates are relatively cleaner than a road-side stall.
Thakur has come a long way- from a road-side stall to a shop. Although Thakur is no more, gen-next (his sons) is more than capable to carry forward the legacy.
By no means a cheap snacking option. A visit always sets me back by Rs. 250/- if I am on a hungry stomach.
The yummiest Omlets, sunnyside ups. Love to go for it often. Must try. They have soft drinks also available to take care of the spices. Not a very cheap price though, but worth trying.
Egg lovers paradise! No better words to describe how much this place had improved it truly is best place to eat eggs and their various types!
Craving for eggs I finally got to know about this place and walked there alone. I asked the preparer for his special dish and ordered that. Ande pe anda.
Totally different and tasty.
Served with onions;chutney and seasoned pav
Good for eggeterians.
I personally do not like omelette.
But I have omelettes only from this place.
They are too good !
Full marks for serving amazing omelettes!
And extra marks for secret ingredient!
So they add this secret to their omelettes which makes it tastier !
Also ask them to give you a plate of cut tomatoes.
Must have double pe double, double pe single and all other fancy combinations that they serve.
Avoid going on weekends as it is super crowded.
1) Best omelette/ half fry i have ever eaten.
2) Go for the taste if you want to.
3) Usually people assume 'Healthy protein wala food' when they hear Egg or anything related to eggs, but here please skip the health aspect. As the health quotient is totally absent, due to the way they prepare the Omelette/half Fry, laced with lots of butter, masala, Pav almost drenched in Butter as well.
4) They have a secret/niche masala which makes its too good to eat.
5) No ambience at all, they've come all the way from roadside stall to a Gala in an Industrial estate, which is much better than before.
6) They have a special connection with Gujjus i guess, as 75% of their patrons are Gujjus, they come with their families and spend around 1500/- for omelettes.
7) This place has all class of society to its door, Celebrities, Super rich people, Food bloggers, politicians, middle class, lower class. (BMW's, Mercedes) (just to give you the hint) š
8) My favorite is 'Do pe ek', which means 1 egg half fry on a 2 egg omellete.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I would rate 4.5/5 , only for the food.
Wouldn't rate its ambience and other things, because i know it beforehand that I'm going to this place for its food and not its ambience and staff courtesy.
One of the best places to have egg stuff.. omletes, half or double, r amazing especially with a plate of tomatoe.. though they do not serve boiled egg..
Thakur omlette has been around since the time I was kid. From a small cart at Jawahar Nagar to Getting a shop in Unnat Nagar close to MG road, the Thakur and His kids surely know some secrets of running Ā a food business.
They carved out a niche for themselves and serve eggs made of Desi eggs. The ones that appear yellowish from the outside as well. The prices are a premium. Zomato must change the Average cost for 2 from 200 to 400.
Like another Reviewer Atul SaxenaĀ mentioned , the costs are a rip off. Ā Even if you're rich , you would wonder why pay such a premium for a half fry.Ā However, You havent tasted omlettes like these. His signature black masala on the eggs is something I havent yet been able to crack. They also serve green chutney and chopped onions to add to the spice.
My favorite is the ' Double pe Double'
Do not eat here for consecutive days as the masala overload will be harsh on your system. But for once in a while it is a nice buttery, spicy , sweaty, standing dining effort that is loved.Ā
They're open until late night.FOOD : 3.5/5AMBIENCE : 0/5Seating : 1/5Staff : 2/5
Total street food... Super taste.. Just don't expect any hygiene and ambience.. Local omelette place... Taste is unbeatable. We visit very often and love to eat at this place
It's amazing how I keep going back for just one thing -Omelette! Period. Could never be bored of the omlettes served here. This place bears testament to the fact that you don't need a fancy place and a 'keep flipping through' menu where half the things are either not worthy or not available. Thakur has cashed on his genius (in making just half fries and omelettes), and managed to have its loyal patrons. Hooked on the 'thakur omelettes'. Now we have a breed of egg lovers called the Thakur Loyalists, for whom an egg craving means a mandatory trip to Thakur.
While the shop is dedicated to egg lovers, the prices are a rip off.
A double egg masala omelette with bun costs around Rs.200/-!!!
While the omelette is good its def not worth the 200bucks. If they can revise their pricing it'll help them attract more customers.
Highly recommended place for egg Lovers.... Egg to die for eggovers of the city.... Must try the single pe single.... Spicy for a tongue palette like me.... Also should try the tomatos they serve... Quick service... Friendly staff.... Taste mein best... Thakur...!!!
The omelette hr makes are so awesome and lip smacking and amazed by the varieties he has. The only concern is the prices are very over the top for the quantity we get. Otherwise a heaven for an egg lover š
This place has come to our rescue since a decade now! If u r an omelette fan and would care nothing about anything else but the taste then this is the place. After changing a couple of venues from jawahar nagar to near fouziya furniture to this final place in Kiran industrial estate v have tracked thakur everywhere as The consumption made the journey worth everything.
So u can have a simple half fry to a double omelette to a single pe single (which is a single egg masala omelette topped with a single half fry) to a double pe double to a sandwich (omelette placed in buttered Paav with chutney ) and the list goes on n on n on.
He provides with water n cold drinks hence making the experience complete!
A must visit if haven't already!
FIND MY REVIEW TO BE GENUINE AND AUTHENTIC.
THAKUR
VISITING THIS PLACE FROM LAST 20 YEARS.Ā
SERVES ONLY HALF FRY AND OMLETTE. BUTTER DESI ANDAS. SERVE AND TOPPING IS SIMPLY AWESOME
TASTE SUPERB. 10/10.
FAVORITE PLACE FOR ALL PEOPLEĀ
CALL IT SINGLE PE SINGLE OR DOUBLE PE SINGLE. COMES WITH PAV AND SOME ONIONS AND CHUTNEY WHICH IS OK . U CAN ASK FOR TOMATOES AS WELL SLICED AND TOPPED WITH MASALA.
POCKET FRIENDLY. DO VISIT RECOMMEND FOR EGG LOVERS.
U WILL GET COLD DRINKS HERE AS WELL.
There's always a soft corner for things you've enjoyed as a child. From a small open street stall to a full fledged eatery in Goregaon W, Thakur bhai may have evolved in size over the years, but the flavours & the simplicity of his Omlettes have remained uniquely consistent. Major highlight of his omlettes being the spicy masala that is a mix of chat masala & jeera powder that he sprinkles on all the omlettes. One of the few places in this city that we love going to over & over again.
I love this omlette place... the double pe double is simply delicious... its just a small corner... no proper seats or anything... and for sucha place it seems a bit costly... but the omlette is worth it...
A small desi omelette pav joint in the heart of Goregaon with fast service and good food quality...this joint is know for it's Jain Omelette !
Service 3/5
Food 4/5
Ambience 2/5
Wallet Score 5/5
Taste Meter 3/5
Nobody serves omelettes like this place. On weekends if you don't go early around 7, you might have to wait as long as an hour to get your food. And it's worth it, especially if you're an egg lover!
Small place....very friendly staff...the best egg dishes that you willl get in mumbai....omelet, chutney r amazing....the best part is they make it with desi egg...only thing they need to do is start with a bhurji soon.....a must must visit for egg lovers...
Must visit place for all the food lover people......try the double on double the speciality of thakur.......................!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This place is for 'omelette pav'. If you ask him to make it spicy, he will make sure your nose will be wet. It is expensive compared to the ambiance and the service, as the place is like a cart inside a shop. Must visit for there signature dish. :)
I have been eating omlette of Thakur since a decade till date I get the same old taste which is fantabulously superb and once it hits ur taste bud it cannot accept any other omlette . Tell him to make it spicy and I assure u ur nose will be wet....
By far the best Anda Pav I have ever had in my life . It's is simply delicious . Words just cannot express it . I am sure u guys must be thinking I am over doing this ..but trust me u have to eat it to believe it .
This guy has been in Goregaon for years almost 30 yrs I guess now . And the legacy continues from father to 2 sons who handles this outlet single handedly.
The place is always full during weekends starting from 8 pm till mid night with waiting time anywhere between 15 mins to 45 mins .
Try the ulta pulta also called double pey double that is omelette of two eggs topped with 2 half fry cooked in a secret masala that makes it taste Devine .
5 stars to this perfect place ....ignore the service and the ambience though :-)
The rating is purely for the omelette. Yes one of the best omelette you get in Mumbai. It's been years eating thakur Omelette. From roadside thella to now a decent place where family can also go. They are improving. No sitting tables, no ambience but great omelettes . Now new addition from last month... They are serving Bhurji also. Cheese as new topping... Enjoying more now...
Its damn good...I ve been coming there since 3 years. The ambiance is not that good but the food is delicious there you see.I recommend you to go there.
I am having over her from the time this guy didn't had any shop and use to sell omlate on the raikade . This place has 0 ambiance Look , 0 service and 0 locality but 5/5 for food . People come to have omlate from virar , chambur , bandra etc etc .. That's all I can describe them .. Do try
The best omelet I have ever had. You have to try the sunny side up and onion fry there. I Always recommend this to friends. Just now that it can be on the spicy side.
I've had Thakur's omelettes for nearly 20 years now. Thats a lot considering I'm currently 26. The menu hasn't changed, the crowds haven't changed, the taste hasn't changed, all that's changed is the location and chefs. The sons make those yummy omelettes under the tutelage of their father who still watches over them. I am yet to meet one person who's not liked what they had at Thakur. So if you haven't been there, go as soon as you can because you'll keep going back for more.
This is one of those spots u go for the food, not the ambiance, not the locality or the superficiality. It's genuine tasty eggs- omlet n half fry. It's All they offer n it's all u need! From a modest stall run by Thakur himself near goregaon station now they have a shop run by his sons so the price they demand is for credibility which has been built for more than 15 years of offering these dishes. U can accompany it with tomato salad or thumbs up. Rush hour usually after 9pm. Try it once n I'm sure u will crave for it again in a few days :)
It's a very tasty and mind blowing omelet very good food and tasty just little improvement in the service and the place as the food is good but try to improve in the service
I had my first egg at this place. Ha-ha. Thanks to Phalesha Rawal . Eggs Eggs Eggs. What else to say. Go visit. Eat egg it's so cheap and so tasty.
A place with a menu of just 2 options but always full, isn't it surprising ? Just because of the perfection and the taste which is awesome. The place is a bit low as there is no sitting but it is worth eating anyhow. A bit costlier than the normal places but the only small thela to use the desi egg.
It's one of the hidden gems of Goregaon. They solely serve omlettes with egg fry but their preparation is top notch. Made with good quality butter and served along with pav and their delicious masala, the eggs are a delectable treat. My often go-to for a late night meal. The service is fast and the staff polite. Location is very accessible and right off MG road.
A definite go for all the egg lovers. Their omelette pav with green chutney n onion is epic. They have few variations as well. A must try.
Probably serves the best omlette in Mumbai. Double half fry over a double omlette is a must try. Their black masala is unique and goes incredibly well with the butter.
Thakur has been the omlette place in Mumbai for decades now! Starting from a humble roadside cart near Goregaon Station they have now moved to a more permanent setup.
The only things on the menu are Desi Egg Omlette & Half-fry ( Sunny side up) and you won't find these better anywhere else.
We found this place by an accident but turned out an amazing place to have a quick meal. Itās a streetfood joint so donāt keep too much expectations for ambiance. Food is basic and straight to the point.
Try out their double half fry and omelette.
You will not find better omelette than this. The best omlet and half fry u have ever had.
If uou want to enjoy a very nice spicy Omelette and Fried egg made in Amul Butter then don't miss this
The approach to shop was obstructed by parked bikes and you have wade through them carefully. Also at the first look you may get turned down and almost would decide to not enter the shop. But this place serves only Egg omelets with a combination of half fry eggs on top. The patrons here swear by the taste and you normally have a good amount of crowd at this joint. People drive their swanky cars to this place and have their heart fill of the egg omelets. The business is currently run by the brothers however this was setup originally by their father near Goregaon railway station BMC garden. It was a hit then and continues to be even now. So if you can pardon the overall look of the joint you can take pleasure in enjoying the omelets.
Continuing the tradition of Thakur Andewala of Goregaon station...awesome omelette and half fry, upar niche...
If you're looking for a variety of options to choose from, let me give you a heads up. This place serves literally only a couple of omelette and half fry options and can be considered if you're looking for a change. They've been running this family business for a span of more than 30 years. They claim to use only "Desi" eggs in the preparation. The black masala and green chutney served along with the " Double pe double/Double pe Single/Single pe single" omelette combos is unique.
Double pe Double means a double egg omelette with a double egg half fry
Double pe single means a double omelette with a single egg half fry
And single pe single means a single egg omelette with a single egg half fry
To sum it up, it's a must try place for egg lovers.
if u r Desi egg lovers then this is one of the best omlet on halfry ,must try once
taste is awesome and pure amul butter has been use,
Amazing place to have omelette & half fry.... The best available in western suburbs šš
Famous for omlette and half fry in goregaon. They only use deshi eggs..must visit place, if you are a egg eater..and loves omlettes
Love the omlete and half fry here. Very simple but always same taste. And they use deshi anda so the omelet is pretty delicious.
