I had ordered chef’s special veg triple schezwan rice, as it was mentioned chef’s special I was expecting something special and they didn’t disappoint me it was delicious and the gravy, it was fantastic it had different delicious vegetables which was just awesome.

If you are looking for a good Shawarma around Malad, this is the place. I live in Kandivali and I like my Shawarma and a good Shawarma can be judged on the basis of their garlic cream not sweet mayo....I have tried ordering from various places in my quest for a good Shawarma.... Lebanese point at Andheri Lokhandwala used to be very good, Maroosh is decent as well and now I have found this place.
The much famous Chinese restro in Sundar Lane, has started one more new outlet besides.
This place is apt for u if looking for perfect authentic Chinese cuisines.

Tried multiple dishes soup, starters and main course. Also tried sharma which was nice. Giving 4 star because the sizzlers we ordered was not up to the mark. Rest everything we tried was good with best being Chicken Shawarma.

Try Grill chicken the garlic sauce is very good I might even say better in the western line.
Chicken fried rice is plain but pair it with spicy chili chicken gravy it might fire your taste buds
Also do try the shawarma here instruct them to not add the tangy pickle.
This not one of the mall food outlets give it a try have an open mind frankly most if us are better of with out the real Chinese food. That will haunt you with pungent taste.
We ordered for Maldrin's Special Chilly and the Chicken Fry Wantons. We thoroughly enjoyed both dishes. A note: they go beautifully with a tall glass of chilled beer. The sauce was the star in the first dish, packed with intense flavours and the bell peppers were crunchy and added texture. The Wantons were served with a spicy sauce but we preferred them plain. We would love to dine here again.
The food is amazing. Ambience is really good. The food is worth the price. Absolutely would recommend. One of my favourite Chinese places. The quantity is surprisingly worth it. 10/10 would recommend.

A small nook of excellent Chinese and lebanese food. A unique combination to excel in I know but the shawarmas and noodles here both are pretty good. We also had the chicken chilly and paneer chilly and they were decent too. A tasty budget place for good food and chill.

Hot n sour soup which is by default you order when you enter any Chinese restaurant. .so did I ..it was very well in sync with the level of spices..
And then came Maldrin's Special Sizzler...
Mix of vegetables, pieces of chicken and ample of prawns and fish.. they did ask me for rice or noodle and I choose rice..
The moment they placed my food on table with sizzling hot smoke and mouth watery fragrance I knew I came at a right place.
The quality and quantity is sufficient for 2 people in 1 sizzler.
Service is good..
Ambiance reminds you of little China in Malad ☺

This place serves authentic Chinese and has been consistent in taste since many years.
I often visit this place and back some months they started indian gourmet but didn’t work so now they serve only Chinese as they are specialised in.
Ordered-
1. Chicken manchow soup
This is like the same taste elsewhere but the quantity and consistency stands out.
2. Chicken wings (staters)
This was not added in their menu but since we were their frequent customer they asked us to try this and the dish tasted delicious to recommend.
3. Chicken hotpot (for 2-3ppl)
This is the only place so far I have eaten a sizzler which is different from the usual ones. They mix all veggies, fries and chicken together in their special sauce and serve it with rice/noodles of your choice.
Bonus: they offer unlimited fried noodles and schezwan sauce if u ask for it in the start.

We had dinner here yesterday. Its on New Link Road Malad West. We went here to have Shawarma but looking inside and nice chinese aromas, felled in love to have chinese food. So first we orderred Chicken Shawarma, we wantee with cheese and Schezwan but it was not available, only we could get with Schezwan Mixed. So we told fine, service guy explained us properly. We had Shawarma, nicely double coated with papers, cut into 2 parts properly, stuffing was perfect, bit roots with fried potatos and chicken with schezwan chutney and cabbage. Served with lots of Mayo and Bit roots. It was tasting amazing with Mayo and Bit roots, well prepared. We liked the shawarma. Then we tried to have Chicken Chinese rice. So we asked the service person, he politely told us all and suggested us to try Chicken Shanghai Rice as per our requirements. So service is nice, polite, explaining, respecting, understanding and prompt, +1. We had Chicken Shanghai Rice, yes it was so amazing, perfect spicy, chicken pieces with nicely added vegies and sauces with rice, perfect chinese flavour, aroma and taste. So quality of food was awesome, +1. Quantity was also great, shawarma was enough for 2 and rice also we couldnt finish all, +1. Prices are little bit high, but not much too, also lack of some editions in orders like no cheese can be added in shawarma, +0.5. Interiors are nice, well decorated and fresh, cool feeling and airy also. Cleanliness, hygiene maintained, +1. So ratings now, quality +1, Quantity +1, Pricing +0.5, Service +1, Interiors and Hygiene +1. So overall rating comes to 4.5 stars. Really nice to have chinese food, one can try Sizzlers here also. So doing well, keep it up! Soon revisiting to have Sizzlers, Shawarma and other food items.

I went with my better half on valentine's day for lunch here and it was the best lunch date we had as there was no one in d AC section apart from us... I order quite frequently from this place and I think the quantity, taste and delivery is really good. I mostly order chicken fried rice and prawns fried rice and there was only once when i felt prawns were not properly cooked. Overall I think its a decent place for chinese food.
Oldest sharwama serving place at-least in the suburbs... Superb sharwama and even all other Chinese food is really good... Service is also fabulous, better than you'd expect... They however don't accept cards..may be they might accept since there were changes after demonetization.
The Craze for Chinese food landed me yet to another place in Malad West known for its delicious food. Maldrin's it is... ambience and service is ok... talking about... firstly ordered a hot n sour chicken soup and loved it...then chicken lolly pop...they were good but a little dry...lastly a mix pot sizzler...it had chicken.. prawns and veggies accompanied with rice or noodles...I found the sauce in the sizzler sweet... couldn't enjoy it as expected... overall ok experience...
It's a great place if u want to eat Chinese.. The staff is great & the service is good ... Food is pretty on the table in 10 mins once you order it... This place is also known for the shawarmas too.... Try them...
Maldrin's rates highly for me in terms of both quantity and quality. But the quality is hit or miss like 5% of the time. Nevertheless I've never passed up a chance to eat their Chicken Schezwan Noodles which is my favourite thing to have here.
We were here on a rainy Saturday night but the place was pretty much empty. The food was steeply priced for the type of restaurant and ambience offered. But was surprisingly a little above average where taste was concerned. I cannot comment on service as we were the only ones in the AC section and had no complaints with it.

Me and my wife Yogita have lot of memories with Maldrin's. We often used to enjoy sizzlers at this place. Small place..ambience is not very great, but food was always great. After long time we order the food from Maldrin's at home. Happy to get the same taste for fried rice and soups...though we didn't like Apple chicken.
Been for the first time with my favourite person. Ambience is fine, simple one. Food was good. Liked it. Had tried a meat and prawn combo dish, since both are my fav. Good quantity and nice.
Located near by uncle's kitchen , time was close to 12.15am , then we saw this place and asked if it is open and they where open . We went inside and saw the place has good amount of seating , and even at that time 3-4 tables were full . The ambiance are avg . The lighting was too dim to take good pictures of food .

I had ordered for boneless chicken lollipops it was hot but no taste very bland and less crispy and tasted liked boiled chicken.Apart from that i tasted chicken shawarma its was ok and the fish koliwada was good even though spicy . The sauces of curry didn't mix well with the basa fish hence the fish was ok but the curry was spicy in case u love spicy try fish koliwada.I also had the chicken crispy it was crispy but dry and without any taste had alot rava.Their schezwan chicken fried rice is spicy and yummy also their mixed fried rice is good but the prawns in the fried rice is not well cooked and not fresh.
This time tried the rice it was too good, tasty,good chunks of chicken & very tasty i had ordered for prawns & chicken fried rice the prawns was too less.My friend liked the crispy but it was too oily .@
I have been here twice(on weekdays) and found it to be nearly empty on both occassions(even though its a small place) and so was skeptical about trying their food. But Maldrin's changed all my thoughts about it. It is a very underrated restaurant.
They have a long list of starters so the guest has a lot of variety to choose from. Even though i have tried only a few starters, i am sure that most of the starters will be good.The starters are good and the quantity that they serve is also better than most restaurants.
Another surprise was the awesone tasting Shawarma and Hot Pot. Both are tasty and great in terms of quantity.
Pricing also seemed fair enough.
I feel this place is much better than the so called '!@#%*'s Kitchen' which lacks variety, taste & quality now, and rests on its laurels which it is near to.
One can definitely give this little place a try and you won't be disappointed.
Been to this place a couple of times. Just been here recently a few days back and realised they have expanded now. I really wanted to try the chicken hot pot which was amazing. Chicken and veggies on a sizzler plate and separate noodles on the side to accompany it. It was perfect for two people. May visit to try different dishes

Bang opp. Uncle's kitchen and faces tough comparision. But the thing i really wanna go and try here is their shwarma. Yes u r right a chinese joint and thier shwarma is jus too good. Filling. Tasty and the salad is definately a second helping worth. So go smack ur lips and try it
I usually eat at Uncles Kitchen, but tried this place once post midnight as this was the only place open. I found the food delicious, well cooked and fresh. The service was quick and the ambience (ac section) is fine.

Have been eating from maldrins since the past 10years. Food at maldrin is tasty...however at present quantity has reduced..when they started off wit that roast chicken it was 150 now 300*...shawarma is ok could be better wit the flavour..in these 10yrs i hav rejected delivery twice due to delay, hope they have improved...overall a good place to eat...

Grill Chicken one of the best I have ever had. It's cooked to perfection and so tender that the meat falls of the bone. It is a must try for all those chicken lover.
I used to be a regular to this place sometime back. I love their sizzler and wantons. The place isn't very expensive and the Shawrma counter they have is killer. Their starters are good and I strongly suggest you try the sizzler if you visit this place.

Maldrins Chinese was recommended to me from my friend and I must say it is really an amazing place for Chinese though the restaurant is really small but the food is good and you can visit this place with your family or friends. I ordered chicken lollipop and chicken pan grilled which was so yummy and goood. Even the portion is really good. Overall loved it😋
