One thing that I liked the most about this place is the freshness of the Seafood this place has to offer. We happened to order Bombil Rava fry and Pomfret Rechado and I loved loved loved how fresh both the fish were. The chorizo chilli fry too was very well done.. I liked the fact that none of the dishes that we ordered were oily.. This can be your perfect place to have some very delicious food. Visited this place few days ago & i am still drooling over the food. The Mocktails were very refreshing. The Tangdi kebab was just yumm. Chicken Bhuna was made to perfection & the naan super soft. The staff was quick & courteous too.

I love visiting fine dine places like White Peacock. When I entered, I was warmly greeted by the Asst. Manager, Mr. Karan who ensured that I was seated comfortably and was attended to by the staff.
I ordered for a mocktail first, which was the Citrus Downer. This was a really refreshing drink that was made with orange juice and was presented really well in a bottle type of glass.
I then ordered for two starters which were the chorizo chilli fry and pork roast. Both these were goan cuisine style dishes and they were prepared really well!
For my main dish, I had the mutton gravy with Roomali roti. The gravy went really well with the roti and the mutton pieces were soft, tender and tasty.
After filling myself on this meal, I decided to tried the caramel custard dessert. This dish was extremely delicious since it was prepared fresh and in-house.
This place also has really great seafood and I would highly recommend their goan speciality dishes. I am also thankful for the amazing service provided by Kanayya, the waiter who offered exemplary service.
Ambience along with food good, chicken chilli dry is a must try. Didn't liked the taste of malai tikka biryani but over all food tastes good.

Recently visited White Peacock for lunch with one of my friend. Located in Khar west near to the Khar Railway station, it can be a perfect place to have some good food. The ambience is pretty & the staff is courteous.

Well this is a perfect starter. It tasted delicious & spicy just how we like it.

This place is on the same street as hoppipola but so much less crowded! I don't know why.. the food is pretty tasty and there's actually space to be able to talk to people!
We started with green devil which was a guava drink with grenadine syrup and lemon cooler (which was just fancy nimbu paani). The guava drink is absolutely refreshing and pairs so well with the Chaat masala sprinkled on the rim of the glass. Definitely worth a try!
* We started with lasooni prawns. While it was a tasty dish, I felt the masala was mostly separated from the prawns. It could have been better.
* We ordered Mirchi ka salan along with butter nans.
Mirchi ka salan was a grilled mixture of baby capsicums stuffed with cottage cheese in a delicious creamy gravy.
This was so tasty, and paired fantastically with the nan.
*We ordered the simple schezwan hakka noodle which was simple and brilliant. No frills, just the amazing schezwan hakka noodles that we wanted to have.
The bill was 1714 for everything which seemed like a decent price for everything that we had.

Yesterday after our Christmas afternoon service, I had gone to White Peacock with my friends and family for Christmas day celebration. I had butter chicken, dum Murg Lahori, chicken Lollypop, chicken Lollypop, butter naan & Tandoori roti. The service was outstanding and I appreciate the waiter, because they entertained us even it's was 3.30 & it was the restaurant closing time.

White peacock is a beautiful place located in Khar. It is just 5 mind walking from the station. The place is very beautiful completely based on white theme. The food and mocktails are really amazing😍as well as they put a lot of efforts in the presentation. From marinating to frying everything was really tasty specially the non veg ones. I visited White peacock for dinner. The ambiance was great and their hospitality was just perfect. Personally, I loved their playlist as well. It is at a five minute walking distance from Khar Road station. They have Indian, Chinese and Gown food. The food was great and I'll be more than happy to be back at the place. Emperor- The sweet drink had the flavour of apples and was also garnished with apple pieces. It was wonderful in taste. Cranberry cooler- This sweet and sour cranberry juice served with soda and crushed ice is a perfect start for your meal. Lazeez murg tikka- Extremely soft chicken pieces that melts in your mouth and therefore has the perfect name. Mutton burrah chop- It had lamb pieces cooked to perfection. Chef Costa special bamboin keema biryani- The biryani is a meal on its own and is aptly named as their special biryani. It has biryani along with keema that is delicious in taste. Nalli Nihari- It has soft lamb pieces in curry. We paired it up with roomali roti and kulcha which made it a perfect combination. Caramel custard- The custard was soft and the sweetness was just perfect. Doodhi Halwa- This is one of their special dishes that was infused with dry fruits. If you have a sweet tooth, this is the dish for you.
It was Christmas noon and we went for family lunch at White peacock khar. The place has super amazing ambience and live streaming of match and yes the bar section had many options in mocktails and cocktails to try and many signature drinks. The food were healthy amazingly presented. The hospitality was good.

2) Spring roll :
It was very crispy and tasty. The veggies inside the roll was very flavourful and had great taste.

The drink was refreshing and chilled. It was prepared from coconut milk, pineapple juice, and vanilla ice cream.

The panner chilli was very tasty and had spicy tangy taste. The panner cubes were soft and yummy. It had good quantity as well. Loved it!
VEG MOTI SEEKH
This was prepared with with finely chopped vegetables and some indain spices and coated with moong dal and was served with green mint chutney. It was yet another delicious starter.
BURNT GARLIC FRIED RICE
The rice was long basmati rice and had good flavour of garlic, finely chopped chillies and some spring onions. The quantity was again good, two of us were quite satisfied with it.
GULAB JAMUN WITH VANILLA ICE CREAM
The gulab jamun were tasty and perfectly to have with Vanilla ice cream. It's one of the best combos that you can have for dessert!
Prompt and friendly service. Loved the pork dishes. Very well tuned to the spice burst on the pallet. And even the humble daal khichdi was sumptuous.

Wanted to visit White Peacock since a long time finally got a chance to visit them for lunch. This place has lovely interiors and a great ambience. Loved the music. Really had a great time. Here’s what we ordered:
Chicken Hoisin & Lazeez murgh tikka- 2 chicken starters that we ordered. Both were really good. One Indian and one Chinese. Tandoori and spicy. Both had a unique flavour. Recommended.
Emperor- Apple juice mixed with sprite, sweet and sour mix and soda. A totally refreshing drink for the hot Mumbai afternoons. This was more on the sweeter side.
Urban spicy- spicy guava drink. With red chilli powder at the brim. Another different and yummy drink.
Butter chicken with Butter garlic naan- loved the butter chicken. This was spicy compared to the sweet butter chicken served at other restaurants. A good main course. The butter garlic naan was a perfect accompaniment to the butter chicken.
Caramel custard- creamy and scrumptious custard made with caramelised sugar. Something different from the normal fruity and chocolate desserts. Must order.
Can’t wait to visit again to try their other drinks & dishes. They were playing good songs too definitely visiting again for the vibes.

This is a lovely place with a great and lively ambience. We had the Murg Chakori kebab and the chicken chop in the starters. They were great and juicy delicious chicken starters. Located in a hub of wonderful cafes and restaurants, this one is no less. A pretty interior and full arrangements for a beautiful candle light dinner makes it a romantic one. The mocktails are few but tasty here. The blend of fruits in each one of them is awesome. In starters, we tried murgh chakori kebab and chicken chops. Chops being mild in spice and kebab being spicy made it a good combo. The quality of chicken was superb and it was perfectly cooked in both dishes. Khar Road has some amazing gem eateries in it's quaint lanes! One such is White Peacock! White peacock in one word serves comfort at its best! The food here is a combination of fusion with authenticity: roots stuck to the culture the Indian food serves! The flavours are vibrant and every dish is simply a masterpiece created in love but also in simple terms!
What we recommend:
1) Sizzling Chakori kebabs: Spicy Chicken kebabs are made to sizzle on a sizzle on the wood platter! Spiced and aromatic, the sizzling effect enhances the smokey flavour!
2) Mushroom Kalimiri serves the taste buds at the best! The texture beautifully sits on one's palate!
We moved to main course post this: staying true to the vegetarian front: we tried some simple food: veg Jhalfrezi with Dal Tadka and Jeera Rice. Some soul satisfying quantities and delish taste await for you! A portion of these is sufficient for a group of 3!
While we were too full for desserts, we made some room for their urban spice guava mocktail! This one is well known in restaurant circles otherwise, but freshness and the spice burst makes one go for it!

White Peacock marks a new bar and restaurant in the lanes of Khar.
Well and dim lit ambience. Loved the music all the way. Got this acoustic vibe to it. Candle lights make it for a good date place. Specially known for mughlai their North Indian make was also great.
Blue breeze was a fresh one for Mocktails. Got the blue Cucarao and orange zest to it. Topped with ice this is served chilled.
Cranberry cooler was a delicious one too. Had the Chaat masala and Limey touch to this. Must have.
Kurkuri Kebab were shallow fried mashed Panner coated with cornflakes. Superb with the chutney.
For mains that is evergreen - had the jeera rice, yellow daal fry and paneer makhanwala. One word for this - AMAZING!

Went to this place on a Saturday afternoon with my husband and loved everything that we ordered. Ordered Paneer Makhani, Veg Kolhapuri, Mirchi ka salan for my vegetarian husband- he loved Mirchi ka salan the best and Fish tikka and prawns biryani for me. This place is at a walking distance from khar railway station. I personally feel that this place is not much known to people and should really be in the must try list of people staying in the vicinity. They have 2 menus, 1for hungry and other for thirsty.

Diced vegetable cooked in Indian spices with tomato, garlic and onion based creamy gravy finished with some papas over the top.... Veggies were not over cooked and retains natural crunch which was good.

Black lentils and kidney beans Cooked with perfection in butter, cream , garlic, onion and tomato.

Creamy and scrumptious custurd made with caramelized sugar over the top. Loved this dessert must try.

We had a party of around 20 people with custom set menu of 2 welcome drinks, 5 starters (chakori kabab, kurkurit kabab, mastiwala prawns, rawas fish tikka and chicken kalimiri kabab, 2 main dishes (chicken lahori and mutton rogan josh) and other accompaniments like rice, roti baskets, etc. Aside from this, the desserts were excellent especially the dudhi halwa specifically made for the occasion. Each item was prepared to perfection by the chef. The wait staff was extremely friendly and super helpful in managing 20 people with a variety of requests at the bar. I would recommend this place to host parties as they have good food, helpful staff and and really nice ambience.

Blue carcao and soda blended perfectly into an amazing mocktail with ice cubes and mint leaves to enhance the taste. It tasted very good.
-Pinacolada-
Tasty mocktail with coconut syrup freshly made and served to us. It tasted very good. Pinacolada lovers will like this for sure.
-Paneer Mastana TIKKA-
Paneer cubes with diced bellpeppers, onion and tomato cooked in a slightly creamish white gravy and chargrilled. The paneer was very soft so this dish tasted amazing. Definitely my personal recommendation. It rocked presentation Wise as well as in terms of taste.
-Chicken Chakori Sizzling Kebab-
Boneless chicken pieces served on a hot sizzling pan. The chicken is tender, soft and juicy, cooked in Indian desi gravy and is medium spicy. You can get a sizzling feel when you eat the kebab. The hotness of the kebab is what makes the dish a huge success. This is one of the highly recommended dishes here.
-Chicken Tikka Biryani-
This biryani is served in a matka covered with atta on top. The Biryani has an irresistible aroma which is accompanied by boneless chicken tikka pieces. The quantity of chicken pieces put in the biryani is very good for the price it is served at. This is a highly recommended dish for all the chicken biryani lovers.
-Caramel Custard-
Soft pudding with a good texture topepd with caramel syrup on top. This dish can be improved. The caramel syrup was watery and hope they can improve it next time. Overall taste was good.
The location and ambiance was great. Love the taste of food whether veg or non veg. I ordered butter chicken, paneer masala, Gulab jamunu, mushroom in starters. Best part was the soothing music.

We recently visited newly started restaurant “white peacock” to try their food. The place is near to khar road railway station and upon entry it takes u away from the hustle bustle of the busy road outside.
Ambiance:
The place is done tastefully with monochrome color theme. The black n white stripped flooring, the lights, furnishing, everything adds up to the whole effect.
The restaurant is quite spacious and is divided into outer and inner sections. Their bar also looks well stocked. Seating is comfortable.
Service:
When we visited early evening, restaurant was not busy. We were hosted by Mr. Rajendra for the evening and he surely knew his job well. He had good recommendations and was polite and smiling.
The food arrival time was quite quick too and food came piping hot.
Food:
Now when it comes to food, they have a variety of North Indian, malvani and goan food which is rare combination to find. Non-Veg section has huge variety of fish n meats but veg is also no less.
Their drinks menu is good too.
We started with urban guava spice mocktail and jhatakedar nimboo pani. As name promised both drinks were loaded with right number of spices and both had very different taste regarding spice array. Which is very plus point. Otherwise the spice mix can get repetitive. But that was not the case. Loved both.
From starters we had kurkurit kabab and afgani mashroom(small portion)
Kurkurit kabab was a delight to eat with crunchy crust and soft inside. The green chutney accompanying it was very different in taste than the regular mint dahi chutney which most restaurants serve and was great change. The mushrooms were succulent and the creamy marinate was just perfect for people who prefer less spicy food. They were filled in center with melted cheese.
In main course we had paneer makhanvala and dal makhni along with garlic naan and laccha paratha.
The daal makhni was very comforting with correct creaminess and not overly sweet. Liked it.
Paneer makhanvala as expected was on sweeter side. It had big chunks of soft paneer. Good for those who like the sweetish taste. The garlic naan was loaded with garlic and tastes good. Don’t forget to finish it when hot otherwise it will become chewy. The laccha paratha was light and tastes well even when it gets cold.
Now when it comes dessert, they have options like sizzling brownie, caramel custard, gulab jamun.
But we were filled because of the meal so we had some malai kulfi which was creamy n rightly sweet. Correct end to a nice evening.
Price wise also they are not on very high end considering the ambiance and service.
Overall good place to relax and have some good food.

White Peacock is located in khar. This restaurant is very close to the khar railway station. The ambience is very spacious with 2 different parts for seating, Inner as well as outer section. Inner has a bar which looks good. The restaurant is good for big as well as small groups. This restaurant serves both veg and non veg foods. Here we had ordered,
•Tadkewali Dal which includes tadka of garlic, different spices and onion, Including butter roti and Naan, deep fried chicken pieces. They have also serves praws which was having amazing taste along with it we had ordered chicken biryani which was really very nice in taste. At the end in desert we had ordered icecream which was very nice loaded with chocolate, we had also ordered custard which was mouth watering. So altogether I would say good food with absolutely perfect malvani goan taste.
Service was really quick.
So Altogether I would say a best place for a perfect non veg lover.

Finally the chef suggested a wonderful deserts like caramel custard, yummy Gulab jamun and strawberry maragratha with fresh strawberries and presentation was too good..
White peacock restaurant have infinite variety of food and surrounded by good and polite staff and chefs.
It was a golden opportunity to experience the wonderful time in this restaurant we spend time with yummy food n spicy Tik Tok videos..

The ambiance has inner & outer section seating available. Inner has a bar which looks good. The seatings are available for small & big groups.
The menu serves Goan, Malvani & North Indian cuisines. They have good balance of Veg N Non Veg dishes. Price wise its not that heavy on pocket.
Mr.Rajendra helped us with the service & made it really quick. The staff is friendly & helpful.

This their Goan Style Main Course. Chicken bone pieces with semi gravy special Goan style masalas. It can be had both as an appetizer & mains. Had with butter naan tasted good. Overall it had a nice taste.
Kolambi Bhat -
Rice made with prawns in Kokan masala. The rice was cooked perfectly & the prawns was fresh. Overall tasted good.

Murgh Musalam :- Chicken marinated in a ginger garlic paste , boiled eggs and Indian masala. For me it is an absolute must try!

Visited the newly opened White Peacock in Khar. Easy to locate, it's a quaint little cafe serving Goan and North Indian cuisine. The decor is lit, literally with a lot of pretty bulbs and the outdoor setting is quite aesthetic and pleasing. They also have a bar. Courteous staff especially the manager Mr. Karanveer, ensured that my meal was delightful and a memorable one. Here's what I tried :
Mocktails :
1. Virgin Cosmopolitan (4/5)- This was a usual cosmo but I found it to be too juicy, otherwise all good presentation wise as well.
2. Watermelon Mojito (5/5)- SO GOOD! Very refreshing with crushed watermelon pieces and ice, this was a total delight. I got this made on special request but I hope they add it to their menu. Must try

1. Paneer Achari Tikka (4/5)- Usual paneer tikka in yellow marination with a great mint Chutney and onions. Perfect start to the meal. Good quantity
2. Afghani Mushrooms (5/5)- OH DAMN! YUM. This was sinfully delightful. Malai mushrooms stuffed with cheese and cooked to perfection. Highly recommended.
Mains :
1. Paneer Makhanwala (10/5)- STAR DISH OF THE NIGHT! Wow. Sooooo yum. This was unusually good actually because mostly paneer Makhanwala is light orange and sweet but this wasn't a sweet gravy at all. Perfectly well spiced and went great paired with garlic naan. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Must try this. Again a huge portion, enough for 3.
2. Palak Khichdi (4.5/5)- Really well made and huge quantity again enough for 4. The garlic tadka was a great touch to the meal. I loved this. Even presented so well, really good.
Dessert :
1. Caramel Custard (5/5)- Probably the BEST Caramel Custard I've had ever. The balance of Caramel and vanilla flavours was spot on. Loved it so soft and wobbly. Perfect.
2. Gulab Jamun (4/5)- Really good too.
Overall, the paneer makhanwala stole my heart! I'll be back for that and the Caramel Custard. Thank you once again for the great service Mr. Shekhar and the captain Guruprasad. It was a great meal indeed.
The white-washed interiors give a calm, soothing feel to this place. The space is divided into two parts - outdoor and indoor, both extremely well organized. White peacock is ideal for dates, family meals, group lunches and chilling with friends. The service and the staff were great. This one is different from the regular marination. It ws all about black peppercorns enahncing the taste of the Fish!! Highly recommended...
🍤🍤 MASTIWALE PRAWNS:
Grilled prawns with in house special marination n masala. This one was good too but the prawn size was inconsistent. A couple of prawns were huge n others were very small. All the prawns should be the same size..
For mains tried 2 dishes.. both of which were bang on in terms of TASTE!!
BUTTER CHICKEN WITH KULCHA/NAAN:
Must have dish here... Perfect sweetness n spicy flavor complimenting each other. THE QUANTITY is awesome. 1 butter chicken is more than enough for 3.

Speciality of the Malvani cuisine. This is very different from the regular Prawn Biryani. It had flavors of fresh coriander which went well with the Rice. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED..

An amazing place to hang out with family and have a great meal. This place has Goan, Malwani & North Indian cuisines.
I love to try the goan preparations in restaurants and so I ordered for Goan style food.
To be honest, the chef has done an amazing work in getting Goan curry style taste in Mumbai. Goan sausage pulao was a delight, we asked them to keep the spice low & my son enjoyed the meal.
Tried various starters and the fish was fresh, poultry was well cooked and food was great taste.
To sum it up, you should make sure that you try this restaurant and you will go home with a full stomach and satisfied heart.

Earlier, the restaurant used to be called Bougen Villa. Interiors and ambience has remained the same, which is quite good and hygienic. We opted for Infinity dining (Non-veg) and ate to our 💓's content.
We ordered Peri Peri Chicken Tandoori, Chicken Shorba, Lemon grass Chicken, Chicken Basil, Chicken Chakori kebab, Lazeez Murg tikka and Aam Panna. All the starters were amazing as well as the drink. Earlier, we were served smaller portions, but on request they increased the quantity.
For main course, we had chicken Sukka, Rumali Roti and butter kulcha. Again, the chicken sukka was very tasty. Finally, in desert we had malai kulfi. Overall, food and service was top notch and I would certainly recommended this place to you all.
We used the INFINITY Zomato Plan and gorged on the most DELICIOUS DINNER EVER!! The starters are to die for and the main course even more! It is a trek, BUT so worth your time and effort!! Conveniently located near Khar Station. Pleasant ambience, attentive and polite service. Ordered a simple palak paneer with garlic naan and a prawn biryani. It was a relief to find the palak paneer tasted like a North indian palak paneer and not the udipi version that is served in many places nearby. The prawn biryani was served with a veg raita, it was grayish, not bad, not brilliant but lacked the trademark basmati aroma and masala was a bit less.
All in all a nice eatery with good service to try if you're in the neighborhood. They have a good amount t of goan dishes on the menu, but rate wise it is more expensive as compared to Aradhanas Coastal delight which also serves good seafood around the corner.
Cool casual dining restaurant in khar west on 5th road... Had some awesome starters and super delicious butter chicken the chicken tikka biryani was simply awesome.. Good staff and friendly.. Served well by rajinder.. A must try for sure... Karan the manager was also very friendly n a great guy.. Caramel custard was yummmmm
Best of best Kandhari Chiken Kebab I ever had. Awesome Butter chicken loved it!! My only concern or rather confusion is if Pork is been cooked in the same vessel as chicken or mutton. Please explain.
Lovely decor , polite staff and great ambience ! Tomato soup was absolutely tangy and vegetarian starters equally tasty. Kurkurit kebab is a must try ! For mains we ordered dum aloo , paneer and daal tadka which was really yummy.
Went there with my wife for dinner, we were very pleased with the decor and worm welcome.
Coming to food, we had chicken sheekh kabab, which was decent but a bit bland, and main course was amazing, it ticked all the right boxes, quality, quantity and pricing. Will surely come here again with friends n family.

Ambience:Tucked away in the bylanes in a busy neighbourhood.Tiny 35seater place.With upper-level kept for private parties alone.The design is minimalistic.The wall has been adorned with knick-knacks.
Staff:Under melvin his team works hard in the summer heat.
They go busy with a lot of ladies who come in for kitty and they have to inform atleast 3days prior for kitty party a standard here for the menu.Otherwise it will be strictly al-la carte.
Caution:The staff will get busy around a lot of ladies when they come,so personally keep following up ur order,as even if u have placed order before,waiting will be there.
Food:Well the menu incompasses north-indian,goan,malwani as told by melvin.We were super-excited & as we had just returned a couple of weeks back from goa,we were looking forward to goan veg starters,some malwani veg starters,some goan & malwani desserts.Fingers-crossed they will look up into that.

Peeli mirch ka paneer tikka.Its called paneer achari tikka here:This is made in peeli mirch.Well tandoored on the edges a little crisp and medium-spicy in flavours.
Goan vegetable vindaloo:One of my favourite dish.This tongue-tickling super-spicy with a tang from vinegar and kokam is robust in flavour.They use a medley of vegetables to go in it.
Goan vegetable curry:I loved the flavours of the goan coconut based masala preparation.A truly classic dish.
I was looking for all of this or atleast a part of this.Amboli(malwani rice-bread) to go with my goan curries unlike lachha paratha.Solkadi.Malwani khadkhade(mix vegetable).Malwan black peas curry(usal)Ussals are a big part of malwani and konkani cuisine.Malwani dal rice.Patoli(rice flour coconut dish).Konkani(amba dal)Aam Panhe.Aluwadi in coconut milk.Fansachi bhaji(jackfruit)vegetable which should be in summer months,from which starter a kebab is made.Aule kaju(Tender cashews)vegetable and starter in summer months.Kairichi amti should be there in summer months.Bhoplayche bharit this should be there throughout the year.Rice flour chapati.Vangyache kaap(brinjal starter).Konkani potato-wedges(starter)Tambdi bhaaji(red amarnath leaves vegetable(Coastal paneer pasanda(loved by paneer lovers all)Dhondhas(cucumber-cake)12months in a year cucumber is available.This are the dishes i felt personally amiss.
Other than that u can go if u have no such expectations.
Taste-wise food is good.

A hidden gem in Khar.
The ambience is amazing, the white-washed interiors give a calm, soothing feel to this place. Pretty bright and attractive. The evening started of with a great welcome drink. The staff is helpful and courteous.

White Peacock - Malvani / Goan / North Indian food. Opened at Khar 5th road. Cute restaurant with a big Heart. Has an outside sitting which would has an amazing vibe (Come monsoons this would be the place to visit) they also have a small party room on the first level and indoor sitting with a fully stocked Bar.
Opened a week back - No teething problems with the food and service. One has to try their NATURAL SALAD - Nice tangy crunchy fresh taste. Colourful at the same time. Red/White cabbage with corn and Nachos. Dressed with Harrisa sauce and cilantro and a bit of mayo i guess it has to be their signature salad. Priced at 145/+ it's a steal.
This place has some good options for Kebabs (need to Improve on the plating/presentation) this is what sells today. CHICKEN BASIL TIKKA marinated well with Yogurt/ House spices and a bit of Basil. A tad messy but taste wise - Yum (chicken was soft/juicy/tender)
Settle for Paneer Tikka - Tandoored to perfection with Traditional tandoor masala (spicy) balance and texture was good. Overall worth 270/+
Chicken Lemongrass Tikka - a tad dry tasted good. Presentation was a minus point. Basically a marination of Lemon grass (Hint) Spices/herbs and yogurt. Something different worth a try.
Mutton Seekh - Good. Rusty texture. Nicely balanced with Indian herbs and spices.
Chicken Sukka - Mangalorean speciality made well at White peacock. Chef has played safe looking at the locals and not gone all out on the spice level. Nice balance of Coconut paste with curry leaves and Spices which made this a nice dish. (Chicken was cooked well - soft)
Mastiwala Prawns - I am still to figure out why this name. Coming to the dish (Fresh medium size prawns) nice hit of Hot chilli pepper. Paste/Marination of Garlic/ginger/cheese and cashew nut paste. Price a bit on the higher side. Overall taste good.
Afghani Mushroom - treat for mushroom lovers. Rich. Cheese/cream/yogurt stuffing. Button mushrooms used. Subtle in taste, Balance was good texture fine.
Mains - Mirchi Ka Salan (Random order) this was by far the star dish of the day. Amazing. Some also call it curried chilli pepper. Had a good combination of Bhavnagari chilli and Salan gravy.
Peanut/sesame seeds/dry coconut/ginger/garlic/bay leaf. This dish is tad tangy (Tamarind) and spicy. Went well with Steamed rice. Hyderabadi speciality (will be back for this dish) meal by itself. At 230/+and rice 180/+ go for it.
My partner had the Dal Makhani - going by her word (good) missed the wow factor.
Desserts - Caramel custard (must try) and Gulab Jamun.
Overall - this place has a lot of potential. Missing some good North Indian/Malwani.Goan food in this area. Wish you guys all the best. Cheers (Presentation is what needs to be looked into)
Recently visited this beautiful outlet called white peacock. One of the amazing outlets with good ambiance, great food lovely staff. The service was just prompt and the food was too delicious.

One of beautiful mocktail it had. It's basically just like the mojito but like a different variant. It was lovely in presentation.

White peacock is a new Indian and Goan food place in khar.
They do have a lot of Vegetarian options in Indian while a few in Goan.
Do not miss their appetizers. They are excellent.
I tried three Vegetarian appetizers and all three were delicious.
Kalimiri Mushrooms - Juicy Succulent Spicy Stuffed mushrooms cooked to perfection. They were bomb. Really flavorful and delicious.
Paneer Achari Tikka - Super soft melt in the mouth paneer very flavorful and Delicious.
Veg seekh kebab - perfectly done and delicious. Mung Dal added a nice crunch.
Veg Xacuti and Veg Vindaloo - both were good. Loved the Xacuti more. The Vindaloo was too spicy for me. Had it with roomali roti and steamed rice.
Gulab Jamun - really good. Not overtly sweet, was perfect. Really soft and delicious.
The aam panna was decent. Could have been better.
Sol kadhi was too spicy and sweet. I would have preferred a tangy one.
Need to work on presentation.
Overall good food and good service.

White Peacock is a newly opened restaurant.
They have indoor as well as an outdoor seating.
The ambience is great, the interiors of the place remind you are seating in some restaurant in Greece with its white theme. It's bright and attractive. Loved the welcome drink that they served. The staff is polite, courteous and ready to assist you with any help that you want while placing the order, they are literally on their toes to serve you.

Suggested by a friend who loves North Indian Food and vouched that this new place is a must try. So me and my wife decided to head over to White Peacock to fulfill our mid week Indian food craving .located in the busy lanes of khar this place is easy to locate and has valet parking too.As you enter White Peacock the ambience gives you a very welcoming and warm feeling with the perfect yellow lighting and background music.The place is really done up well following the theme black and white .The set up has a indoor and out door sitting to offer .So u can pick your table according to your mood and weather .
To set the mood rite Karan Veer who was taking care of us suggested we try any one of their cocktails. We went in for the Whiskey Sour (MUST TRY) and Water Melon Martini (Tag bit strong on the liquor and sweet so if u a sweet lover this is ur Drink ).
Coming to the food I truely belive this place can fill in the void of a good Indian Kitchen that khar bandra lacks .And to add to joy they also specialize in Malvani and Goan food .
Dishes I tried
1.Masti Walla Prawns - Truely a seafood lovers joy fresh prawns marinated in a medium spicy masala well cooked in the tandoori and melted well in the mouth. MUST TRY DISH
2. Chicken Tikka - One can say a safe option but this one truely was special and the spices and marination used was perfect .Well cooked and presented.
3.Butter Chicken - Not all places get it right as most of them prefer it to be sweet and not keep it a mix of sweet and spicy. But here the butter chicken had the perfect blend of sweet butter and the Indian spices. Went well with the roti and rumali we had called for .
4. Dal Makhani - A must in a Indian meal a well cooked Dal goes best with ur gravy and roti or rice .The Dal makhani had the Wow factor which made my meal complete .
All in all we had a great time and great dinner KUDOS TO TEAM WHITE PEACOCK.

The restaurant located at 5mins walking distance from Khar Road railway station. Easy to locate using Google maps and valet parking is available.
First of all their name attracted me to go through the Menu and menu was compromised of all my favorite dishes so we decided to try this place.
Interior was simple yet very pleasant. They have outdoor as well as indoor seating and it's a two storey restaurant. Seating arrangement is very comfortable available in sofa as well chair. Clock on the wall just opposite to our table was attraction for me.
Staff was very friendly, polite, courteous and attentive. Service was quick and food was amazing specially their appetizers were astonishing in taste.
I tried following delicacies:
STARTERS:
#Pomfret Hyderabadi: One of the mouthwatering Tandoored pomfret I tried ever. Fresh, juicy, soft palm sized pomfret was marinated with green masala, pepper powder to its perfect and tandoored nicely.
#Tawa Fry: In this we get options in seafood out of which I tried Surmai. Two medium sized Surmai pieces amazingly marinated and then fried so perfectly to keep it's original taste yet giving all spices flavors.
#Kurkurit Kebab: Nice to try if go with vegetarian food. Crispy bite with soft inside made up of paneer and yogurt. Goes really nice with bith mint and sour chutneys.
MAIN COURSE:
#Dum Paneer Kurchan: Red, yellow peppers, Paneer cooked in mild Yellow gravy was really worth to taste in vegetarian option and goes well with butter kulcha.
DESSERTS:
#Gulab Jamun with Ice-cream: soft, yummy gulab jamuns with scoop of vanilla ice-cream.
