Decent food at really good price, but ambiance is not very family like in the non AC section. Alcohol prices are also pretty low as compared to other places around. All in all I won't recommend it for single ladies going alone.. rest good for visiting with friends or family
If ur a seafood lover, go for Prawns tawa fry and surmai fry here! Specially the fried garlic they give with it just adds to the taste! Although if u want to go in a large group u might have to sit on different tables as the tables r quite small! But u would like to sit separately than to loose the awesome food taste here and go somewhere else.

Discovered this place in a gully. We were in a hurry so we tried only a few things. We ordered a Masala Papad, Bombil fry, Chicken Amritsari with some Rotis. The Masala Papad was good. I specifically mention that because most places screw up this simple dish with a lot off veggies and no sev. But that was not the case here. The Bombil was okay. A little too deep fried for us to taste the flavour of the masalas on it. Recommendation of Chicken Amritsari was taken from the staff since we wanted something spicy and boneless. While they charged separately for Boneless chicken, I liked their concept of having big boneless strips in the gravy so that each one of us could have their own piece. The gravy was okay but could be better. The service was also okay and we didnt have to wait for long.

If u want to enjoy the authentic food, you must go to Amarapali Restaurant in fort. The location is next to Bombay stock exchange. It is a very famous for Chinese food. We were a group of friend had dinner over there. Ordered some non veg food like lolly pops, chicken chilli, triple rice and chicken tikka. The food was awesome. Service also not bed. Staffs are attentive. Little cleanliness was lacking. But over all expenses was superb. Will definitely recommend...

This is the place to be after a tiring day at office ! It's a haven for people around BSE & High Court. It is located just on the lane of Kandeel/ Lantern Bar.
Food is extremely good - with respect to taste as well as quantity. Alcohol is extremely cheap.
Hardly takes 700-800 for 2 people for a starter and 2 pegs of alcohol. I hope one gets the picture.

Best place for cooprete lunch I'm a regular guest of this restaurant once in a week I visit this restaurant every time I just order the Chicken chilly in semi gravy with Garlic Naan... Good friends...good food...good times.. Its my third visit...all good experiences..me and my colleagues always go there to booze and to tranquillize after a chaotic meeting at work. It is economical place to come with a cluster. The food here is appetizing specially the chicken lollipop, karela paratha, neer dosa, tandoori chicken lollipop, malabari chicken red and green chicken, khichiya papad etc. We ordered some hootch as per our individual requirements to wet our whistle ..vodka, rum, beer etc.. The service was good. It is always crowded during evenings. Would definitely stopover next time. There was no music, ambiance was mediocre. Cheers👍
A nice place to have your drink or beer. Ac is nice and is chilling. There is no cocktails in the menu. Food is good and tasty. A variety of tasty foods for the foodie.
Cheap Alcohol, Good starters but a little overpriced. We had a party over here, 7 guys with booze, the bill came out to be around ₹2800. But since food was expensive, we had it from elsewhere. Ambience 7/10.
Amrapali is like an oasis for people who want to eat and drink without burning a hole in the pocket. Very conveniently located in the Fort area, the food and service is great and definitely a good bang for the buck.
This was suggested by a friend and hence we went to check it out on a weeknight. We were seated in the non ac section as the weather was quite bearable.
Good news for drinkers - they serve 180ml bottles at a premium which works out to be cheaper than ordering by the peg. Along with the drinks we ordered a full plate of Afghani Chicken. The Chicken was very well made and went well with our peg of whiskey ;)
Stays open till around 11.30 but the last order is around 10.45pm. Quite a hidden gem I would say. Will come back :)

I was here with Friends for Lunch, this place was packed. The drinks were cheap and food was good. The service a bit slow and the restaurant seating area was narrow and congested. Overall I would visit this place for cheap drinks and starters.
This is a difficult place to locate. But managed somehow. Ambiance is good.

Beer with Chicken Popcorn was a delight to have.
A must try are the Haryali kebabs. Soft juicy melts in the mouth. Had the pepper/coriander marination. Done well.
Khicha Papad for the papad fans ( Masala ) goes well with the drinks.
After a long time had a chance to have some good tasty spicy aloo chaat. Made well. Spicy.

The staff is really good and so the service. One can sit in AC rooms on the first floor. Good place to grab a good meal. And totally safe place for girls even during the late night hours!
A decent pocket friendly place for cheap booze and good food. Although it's located inside a lane, (Kandeel's lane), the brightly lit entrance can be seen from the main road. The surmai is fresh, tasty and come in big pieces. The chicken chilly dry is also decent and come in large portions. Good place for enjoying with friends on a budget.
Usually passed by the restaurant but never had the chance to stop and eat. The ground floor is non ac and not the cleanest place to have lunch. The place is probably dirty because of the cheap booze it serves and what people end up doing after drinking!!

I have been there on recommendation of a friend. Fish fry surmai is very good. The size of fish is good and perfectly fried. Have visited many times but never tried anything else. Its bar and ambience isn't so good. But again fried fish is very good.
Very busy restaurant during office lunch hours, ac seating preferable of going with females. Really good starters like Banjara kebab and Pahadi kebab, mutton Shukka is worth a try, chicken lapeta ya their speciality is regular dish but definitely go well with Neer dosa. Very good on budget

it's been quiet a while now that I have been visiting this place with my friends.In short I would say this place is best for college goers as the drinks and food are not expensive. A Foster Pitcher for 325 serves 3 bewdas easily,top it up with their wholesome Crunchy and juicy chicken crispy. No matter what others say about this place.It will be my Groups favourite den for economical food and drinks.Cheers

This is the hidden gem near bse. if you are looking for punjabi cuisine. then this is the best outlet and its from last many years. order is served very fast and what ever you eat has its worth. and the best part is that persona who love spicy food they can have schezwan sauce, and you can you be filled in 200 per person. From the ambiance and from outside you will think like its kind of dhabba or something but its a good place to have some food..

A place in fort, good place to order not to eat
If you have your office within the vicinity and are looking for a budget place to order from look no further. This place has good seafood and Punjabi cuisine.
Out of the month that I worked at fort I ordered from here about 15 times.
The dishes I had go as follows-
1. Sweet corn chicken soup. I love this soup. Most restaurants make it well. However this one makes it so well that I ordered it on all the 15 days without fail.
2. Tandoori - while it was very good last the standards for tandoori and other kebabs have dropped at this place.
3. Prawns Chilly dry - another favourite item ordered at least 7 days the prawns are the perfect level of juicy and tenderness and large in size and quantity
4. Chicken do oyaza and mutton do pyaza - I prefer the chicken one for a change the gravy is simply delicious although they out so much oil a separate vessel is needed to remove it
5. Roti's are not so good but the gravy compensates
Overall a filling meal comes to about 400 for 2
This is probably my second best recommended place for booze and food. If you are in a mood of less booze and more food this is the place to approach.

Veg manchurain and Veg hakka Noodles: I have never ever had such great Chinese food ! There is not much to explain about it but in all it was amazing!
The booze is cheap and quite safe place to hangout.
In all the food and cheap booze is quite the highlight of the place.
P.S: The non veg platters and fish is also really great ! (As per my fellow foodie boozers)
The food is excellent. Tried Paneer Chilli, Chicken Popcorn, Neer Dosa and Paneer Masala, everything was delicious, the quantity was also good. Rates are fair. Service is fast and good. The staff is friendly and courteous. The ambience is a little dark but decent. Finding parking in this area is a difficult task.
This restaurant is located at kala ghoda opposite Mumbai University. Ambience is ok. Food quality and quantity were also good. Chicken crispy was amazing. The preparation of prawns gassi was also mouth watering only thing is prawns was half cooked. Amazing neer dosa. Surmai fry also was ok but not up to mark. I would have ordered Bombil instead, they would have been better. But allover good restaurant to have nonveg.

Good place to get a decent lunch with a reasonable price. The AC room has better ambient and much more comfortable. Veg schezwan rice was tasty but too greasy for my liking. Paneer Kurkure was great! The service was fast and efficient so recommend this place if you want to have quick lunch and if you happen to be around the area.

In an area where it could be difficult to find a good non-veg joint, Amrapali comes to the rescue! This restaurant serves delicious non-veg food, fish & alcohol. The taste of a variety of dishes does not fall below delicious. The portions are generous & service is moderate, due to the rush of customers per table. I & my friends definitely had a good time. The bill is reasonably priced for its menu. This place is well known by local advocates in the area.
Delicious food, great service, and a rather pretty atmosphere... occasionally it gets rather crowded with locals, which is always a good indicator of quality when it is filled with locals. The AC upstairs is generally only open atnight though
Place is little cranky, but food is awesome. Only for fish lovers... Not much expensive, you may enjoy food and drinks better with a small bunch of friends. Ofcourse the AC section is better than the normal one.
