The gujarati thali out here is one the nicest ones that i have tasted. Obviously best than the Panchavati Gaurav. The food taste was also better out here. Price to food ratio is quite maintained. Overall a positive experience.
This seems to be overshadowed by other posh or branded restaurants, beleive me the food quality and taste is satisfactory. Ambience lacks but this is what I don't like to pay for. Overall a good Thali restaurant with good variety at price that is charged
Order food from here gets in packaging of containers taste same as the restaurant ..just they change the sweets from the image except everything is best ..

As the hotel RASOI is famous thali so we have orderd Gujarati thali ..
And the taste of the thali was mind blowing π.

Tried Gujarati thali. Here you have option of Roti-Sabzi, Rice Thali, Limited Thali and Unlimited Thali . This one is a Limited Thali. Rotis served are of 3 types: Chapati, Bajra roti and Makai Roti. When you want to have something Desi, you can visit this place. This place is opposite to Mulund Station West Side
A mind blowing unlimited thali. So there is this little restaurant right opposite to Mulund railway station. An economical yet no compromise in quality. The taste was really good and they provide variety of dishes ( including 3 types of sabji, 2 types of farsan, variety of rotis, 2 sweet dishes along with rice and chaas). All this for just 240 INR. Those who are fond of having garma garam khana, this is a perfect place for you. Go and enjoy with your family and friends.

Very special place in mulund west and its close to station. It has decent ambience and the taste of the food over here is nice. There are many popular hotels in mulund but this stands out for their thalis. As the name suggests they have 2 types of thallis.
1. The Royal thali[ Unlimited ]
2. Rice plate [ limited ]
They also provide snacks like vada paav , samosa paav and all.
They have fast service and food is served hot on you table. You can also have food packed for home delivery. Do give it a visit once specially for thalli.

Authentic way to have thali. I tried Katiawadi thali which was huge with various dishes right from papad, dal, rotis, samosa and on and on. It is very very cheap for the price and actually difficult to eat all dishes. Really amazed with quality and quantity served here at such a restaurant in such a reasonable price.
I have been at this restaurant 3-4 times. It's a very small, not so fancy restaurant, located exactly opposite to Mulund Railway station. They serve unlimited and limited thali variants. Tried their limited thali which is good and sufficient for one person and does justice with the money we pay for it.

Khasta kachori has always been my favourite. Specially this Mulund one from Rasoi just outside Mulund west railway station.
Filled with whole moong, all sorts of chutneys, dahi and topped with some generous amount of Sev and fresh coriander, a must try delicacy. The entire filling just oozes out from that one bite and you still enjoy this kachori with those messy hands (only if you don't know the trick how to eat it without dropping the filling)
Visited this place after almost 8 years and it tastes still the same. Brought back all my college memories.. Relished each and every bite of it.. Thank you Rasoi for still being the same ππ―

I decided to pay a visit to this outlet by reading all the amazing review about the traditional thali served here. I was indeed surprised by the overall experience of my visit.
I tried the Royal Kathiyawadi Thali. This one is available in two versions- limited and unlimited. Limited one costs around βΉ185 and unlimited costs around βΉ240.
I was surprised by what this place has to offer in just βΉ185
The thali consisted of -
Four sabji, Kadhi, Two types of Dal, Rotis, Makai Roti, Bajara Roti, Samosa served with two chutneys, Dahi Wada, Aamras, Rasgulla, Papad, Salad with a glass of Chaas.
If you want to explore traditional thali places you must definitely visit this one.β
We orderd aamras and puri compo with the 40% off got great deal and the amazing taste of thr food its like comfort food so enjoyable. Also jad enjoyed thali eqally good

We ordered the Rice plate limited Thali. The thaali had a rice plate, with papad, sabudana wada and dhokla for starters. There were four sabzis, all of which were amazingly tasty. Two rotis and a puri, with the perfect kadhi and dal. The basundi as a sweet dish proved to be a perfect ending.
The dahi kachori gave all the desi flavors.
We paid only 165 for these two items.
Do try this place. Absolutely worth the money.

Was visiting Mulund and thought should try this place as a lot of people around me recommended it. And I didn't regret my decision.
Paid βΉ 180 for a limited Thali and I was full. They also offer an unlimited Thali for βΉ 240 for people who are up for a challenge or have a bigger appetite.
The regional breads were great. Loved the Chole Subzi over anything else. Dhokla and the chutneys were satisfying. Kheer was fantastic.

And bonus, this place is just a minute away from mulund station.
What we had:
1) Dahi Kachori : Quite crispy kachoris filled with dahi, moong, chutneys and sev. Flavours were quite amazing and could be tasted in each bite. Much amazing!

I ordered the Half thali Punjabi.. The taste was very nice but the quantity could have been more. The phulkas are very soft but so small that 3 do not fill us up. Say 5 rotis would have been better. And some more quantity of Dal as well.

I ordered for the first time from this restaurant, and that is half punjabi tiffin.
They had one daal one soya ki Sabzi Allo matar, 3 chapati and bread dhokla.
Taste was good. Itβs almost tastes like home food.
But the problem is 3 curries at least one sookha sabzi will be a better option. But any how food was good.
This place is well known in Mulund for its Gujarati thali. At 200 rs one get unlimited thali along with limited sweet dish. Going on festival is actually a good time to go here as they serve something special. Now they have converted this into Ac restaurant so ambience wise itβs ok now. Taste wise one can rate them 9/10 in terms of Gujarati food. You do get samosa and other item but itβs outside restaurant. And chole samosa is again one should give a try in fast food item.

Review : If you long for the yummiest Raj Kachori, you should not miss this place! This place been serving Raj Kachori for almost a decade now, and nobody could beat this in taste and literally no joint serves Raj Kachori so yum in Mulund! Earlier used to be a small joint, now they have stretched a bit. It serves Thali as well! Their Samosas are crisp served with mint chutney, sevpuri is also good but could have been better!
You will not miss this as its right outside the station! It's like you get down the local train - walk a bit - Rasoi will call you - order Kachori - just relish it!

I have been here 7-8 times, from the earlier days when the place was not air-conditioned, until a week ago in their refurbished air-conditioned small restaurant. I must first explain why a 5-rating for a seemingly ordinary establishment. It is the food - the taste is simply awesome! What more can anyone ask for in a limited thali priced at INR140 and an unlimited thali priced at INR200? The thali is Gujarati - with farsan+pickle starters, four vegetables, dal, white & yellow kadi served with phulkas, rice/khichidi and buttermilk. This summer they have been serving aam raas for dessert but I remember earlier it was gulab jamun or sheera. The highlights are the khichidi and kadi. The food reminds me a little of Status restaurant at Nariman Point. Where Rasoi Thali does not match up is that the restaurant is congested inside and near a very crowded Mulund railway+bus+rickshaw stand (absolute hell to get a car in and out). And the staff is ordinary labour, so do not expect coaties, bows or spotless shirts. But just for its food, this place is great. I hope the restaurant sustains business and grows; we need good food at the right price like Rasoi Thali does it.

We dined at Rasoi Thali for dinner in Mulund West, right across from Mulund Railway Station. For an affordable Gujarati thali experience, this is the perfect spot. The Limited Thali is priced at Rs 170, while the Unlimited Thali is available for Rs 220. The flavors are delightful and reminiscent of home-cooked meals. Though the ambience is moderate, the food quality is excellent. If you find yourself in Mulund, it's worth giving it a try. ππ»π

They prepare & serve fresh food at decent price! Since Vishwabharti is non-operational these days, Rasoi Thali fulfills the need of good food!
