As I stepped into Jaffer Bhai's Delhi Darbar (The Biryani King of Mumbai), the lower seating area wasn't as appealing, but the AC hall on the 1st floor had very good vibes and ambience and I shouldn't forget to mention the professional service.
It's often visited by the locals and sometimes people staying in nearby hotels. Overall the crowd is decent and its a must visit.
My personal favourite is Chicken Crispy thread and Mutton Biryani.
MUST TRY: Shanghai Sizzler is also a must try along with the special falooda in the end.

Its a must comeback, Jaffer Bhai's Delhi Darbar is called as the Biryani king of Mumbai, and it does live up to its name.
You wont even notice but you will get addicted to its Biryani in no time.
Absolutely love the platters here. The rumali roti and kebabs are amazing. The place is smaller than the other town outlets but still pretty good. Service is good and quick too.
I have been visiting this place for over 20 years. Jaffer Bhai’s Delhi Darbar manages to live up to all the hype that’s been surrounding it since almost 45 years now. Be it their Chicken Biryani, Mutton Biryani or even their Chicken Tikka Biryani. Although, of late there has been a lot of complaints about the service at the restaurant – biryani getting over too soon and impolite staff. We only hope that this food chain gets it grip back and lives up to its name.
We tried their mutton salli boti and biryani. It was above par. I would not call it exceptional. But if u are a hardcore non veg eater then u will definitely like it. The ambience and service is average.
Ordered chicken Shawrma From Jafer Bhai very much disappointed. Masala chicken everything was good but mayonnaise was in very less quantity which totally destroyed the taste of shawrma .

Alright let's talk about food first it was horribly awesome like it was my first time having perfectly spicy and light biryani it's completely on different level and kabab is so juicy its like I still have taste in my mouth it was completely awesome

Have personally tried Biryani at many places within and outside mumbai but trust me nothing beats them.
If you are a mughlai food lover then the place is a must.
Also their food menu is fairly priced. For sure this place won't disappoint you.
This is the 2nd Location where JB's Delhi Darbar was setup up.
It was a huge restaurant initially for a long time but now they have scaled downed here because other Outlets came into existence..
I have visited this restaurant since the past 15 years and mind you the food quality has remained the same throughout the period (till 2015 when I last visited this specific outlet, I stopped visiting this specific outlet because other outlets of JBDD's are much better now and they have cut down on the size of the restaurant..)
But nevertheless the food is still decent enough here..

This place serves by far the best Mutton Dum Biryani ever, around the world wherever I have eaten yet. When I returned to India all I could think of is when we i get to savour the taste of the Mutton Dum Biryani which I have been dreaming for a year. The place is near Crowford market but hard to locate. But once you will eat their Biryani you would love the heavenly taste of the best Biryani ever.

If you are biryani lover then you just can't miss this place. The biryani here is bit different than what we usually get in mumbai, they put chunks of potatoes. And the beat thing is this particular branch is open till late night(early morning). So for all the mughlai and biryani lovers this place must be their to do list!

This branch of Jaffer Bhais is located ata a rpime location of Mohammed Ali road. Being ramadan month, the place was jam packed with people. But we got a table without waiting. The ambience is not too posh but has ac and jam packed tables.
We started with the chicken platter which had 4 5 types of chicken kebab varieties. The pieces of the chicken were amazingly marinated and succulent. The spice was just perfect and were 12 pieces.
The next we had is the chicken kepsa biryani. The order took a lot of time to arrive and we were not informed about the time to be taken. It is a huge plate of rice enough for 5 people. Under the cover of rice is the real treasure of tandoori chicken legs and masala. This dish is highly highly recommended. The chicken masala is super tasty and the pieces are enough for 5 people.
For desert we had punjabi kulfi and phirni.
Punjabi kulfi had dry fruits and saffron served cut pieces in a plate. It was rich in flavour and was smooth and not chunky with the dry fruits. Must have.
Phirni was cold, we were expecting a bit hot. But it was packed with flavour and was not too sweet but just perfectly sweet.
Overall its a 3.5 considering the time, ambience and quality.
This place needs no introduction or review. Heaven for all the Non veg lovers. The charm of this places always amazes us and just go there during festive season and satiate your taste buds.

Jaffer bhai is a brand and when u walk in to this place you have a lot of expectations. This Mohammed ali road outlet justified my expectations well. We ordered chicken crispy which was super yummy and tangy. The butter chicken just melted in our mouth. The best part was the chicken biryani. The biryani had a perfect taste with blended spiced that made it a perfect Biryani.
The Biryani king of Mumbai ! been a while since I ate at one of these so when I saw this on the quickperks app brought back good memories and this craving that only JBDD’s can satisfy. So we decided to order in and we got the Baida roti, Chicken roll, Arab Biryani & white chicken gravy.
I used my quickperks card and I got Rs.550 discount. The best thing my mom had no idea. She was totally surprised.
There are many outlets in mumbai. I have been to Mohammad Ali road, grant road and colaba. The ambiance is good n family friendly in all outlets. I love the food. Always fresh. Some may find it too oily but that's what desi food is all about. I love their butter chicken, chicken white and rumali roti. My all time fav. They serve nice mutton seekh kebabs and biryanis also. Their service is good. There's always parking problem in mumbai, but the security guards in all outlets always make you some space.
The legendary restaurant serving the authentic food since ages. It was blissful experience to dine in at this restaurant with few friends. Truly enjoyed each and every dish, the quantity is perfect and so the taste is amazing. The service was bit slow due to weekend over crowd.
But recommend to try the chicken starters.
