One of the better restaurants in Miraroad to Dineout. They have 3 sections out of which 2 are on ground floor. Out of the 2 on ground floor one is Air-conditioned and another is non-ac. On the first floor there is live music and it’s a great place to host family parties.
Food- Fresh fish, authentic flavours and served hot
Ambience- There is definitely a Family vibe and the ambience is really simple yet elegant.
Service- Suited captains and courteous waiters walk the food to the beat of their ability.
Overall a good dining experience. Do try their seafood, they also let you select the fish before frying. If you are lucky enough you can choose among a wide range from fish display.

We had Prawns thali, Sumrai thali & bangda fry. The food was fantastic. The prawns thali is highly recommended. It has prawns fry, prawns curry, sukat sabzi, veg curry, solkadhi, steamed rice alongwith the option of bhaakri / rice.

One of the few restaurants which serve authentic malvan food , Try chicken sukka ( dry ) and Chicken Masala ( Malvan ) along with Neer dosa/Bhakri and some Soul Kadi/ kokam Kadi .
Quantity is at par for two people. Prices as i believe are about 10 to 20 percent premium compared to other same quality and quantity delivering restaurants .
Though this is the only restaurant that serves such delicious and authentic malvan cuisine in mira road , i am ok to pay that premium amount

This restaurant serves authentic Malvani food, the fried fish was perfectly crispy and tender, the bhakri was served hot, the gravies were spicy and delicious! My father is not an easy man to please when it comes to restaurants but he was thoroughly impressed with the food and ambience.

If I m talking about non-veg then I want to say you Sea food and it's freshness is good and also it was very tasty. If I am talking about chicken then I want say you you have must try malvani sukha chicken and also vada. Service quality and quantity is also best. There are hardly any places in Mira Bhayandar if you are yearning for some fresh seafood, which is why Ratnagiri is the first and only choice in my opinion, should you want to try some fresh and decent seafood.
Went in on a friday evening with my parents, with my mom it's almost a ritual to order Surmai Tawa Fry whenever we enter a seafood restaurant. I ordered some large prawns tawa fry along with Surmai as I am a prawn digger!
Last couple of visits to this restaurant hasn't been very good as it was too crowded and I always have this experience with my favorite restaurants that whenever they are operating at full capacity they tend to compromise on their food quality. Luckily for us, this time there were not many people when we entered which ensured the best food quality.
The Surmai Tawa Fry was fresh, tender and adequately spiced, I would have preferred that the chef would have not cooked it so much but then it was good enough. Next came the prawns...I do not think I have had such a deliciously cooked prawns in recent times. The prawns were melting in my mouth, the spices used to roast the prawns over the pan had something special in it! I caught myself licking my fingers and trying to extract every bit of prawn meat even out of its tail! 🙈🙈
Then we ordered the main course which had to be vegetarian as my dad doesn't prefer meat. We ordered a vegetable Tawa sabzi (As my dad was tired of paneer) and Dal tadka with Tandoori rotis to go with it.
The Sabzi Tawa and Dal were surprisingly delicious as this restaurant is not known for its Punjabi dishes (Infact they used to not serve Punjabi dishes earlier and had a separate restaurant all together) the spices used were very flavourful along with the right mixture of fresh veggies. The dal tadka was equally good, nothing beats a good dal in its simplicity and flavorness. They had drumsticks in their dal which I found to be very odd as I had never seen a dal tadka with drumsticks in it, but nonetheless I loved it.
The total bill came out to be? Surprise Surprise! Just 1500 Rs! Yes... This restaurant after its initial success in a town where people have no choice of quality seafood started charging exorbitantly for its fishes. (I remember once paying 1100 Rs for a large slab of Surmai Tawa Fry) I think the restaurant management has heeded to the call by its patrons and have adjusted their prices accordingly!

We tried Bombil Fry which was great, we were also served a complimentary Mandheli Fry. Solkadi is a must here. Dal Makhni is a thumbs down. Prawns Koliwada is a 100% ThumbsUp.

Their tandoori platter includes, tri-coloured well marinated chicken pieces served with cabbage salad and pudina chutney.
2. CHICKEN GRAVY WITH BHAKRIS.
Well spiced chicken tastes best with jowar, nachni and rice bhakris.
3. VEG BIRYANI
The main attraction to this was the way it was served, in an earthen pot.
5. VIRGIN MOJITO
It was served in tall pilsner glass with taste of lemon and mint.
6. SOL KADHI
Sol kadhi was average in taste. It lacked the sweet taste.
7. PAN SHOTS.
This was a complimentary drink given by the restaurant. It tasted amazing and was perfect to end the meal with.

Kombdi Wade about which i heard for the very first time and it was good , it's a chicken curry served with multi grain puri, green chutney and salad . I loved the Sol kadhi they make , one glass is not enough if u like it . The I had was prawn biryani which tasted weird and I didn't like this dish at all. The last thing was a chocolate brownie .Rest the place is average and simple . The service is not appreciated ,they couldn't even change a plate.of masala papad ..thumps down.

I ordered the popular dish of this place i.e The Fish Thali.
There are many varieties of fishes to choose from and so I chose:

2. Surmai Thali
3. Bangda Thali
Their thali includes one piece of the respective Fish Shallow Fried & and the other Dipped in Curry made from Malvani Masala, one special vegetable served on that day, Rice/Pulav, Vade/Chapati/Bhakri & Solkadi.
Everything is well cooked and without doubt the place excels in Malvani Cuisine & charged on a higher side.
However, The Thali is only available when you visit the place.
For a change, I also ordered the following dishes which turned out to be a disappointment as compared to the Malvani dishes.

So we had been to this place on Valentine's Day. Must say this restaurant had a very good gesture towards all couple's. Couple's were given a pair of rose and cadboury chocolate. Seafood, starters were as always great.
Food was really Amazing , a really good place if you have a craving for good Malvani food. Would recommend any Fish Thali. And also for dessert the Honey Noodle’s was the Cherry on the Cake. Loved it

Ratnagiri Malvani is a family Restrobar in Mira Road located just opposite Shivaar Garden on the Mira Bhayander Highway. Could not click pictures this time though.
We tried their soup, starters, malvani fish fry and prawns everything was good. The spolier here was Murg Musallam which was not worth the bomb spent on it. The chicken was hard and the gravy did not stand to the expectation.
If we forget this main course, then they served good soup, fresh Halwa fish in Malvani masala coated with rava and deep fried.
The prawns in a chinese sauce also felt very much fresh and delicious.
They did not disappoint with the hospitality right from the beginning. So overall if we forget about the Murg Musallam(avoidable) we had a good family dinner.
Good sea food at reasonable rates it's good to check with their availability of fresh sea food.

Good place for some tasty maharashtrian style seafood. I've been here to celebrate my wife's birthday. The food was really nice with good service. Had enjoyed the fish thalis and tandoori along with some drinks to complete the celebration.

Yesterday I was craving for something non vegetarian and I went here I ordered some tasty chicken Tandoor there. And I was very surprised to see there beautiful presentation and the chicken Tandoor was roasted so nicely with perfect marination. Service was also very nice and the staff was very well mannered . I loved my visit.
