Delicious Mexican food (literally mouth watering), friendly staff, super decent and soothing ambience.
Overall I had a great time.
Mexican food lover must definitely go.

Hola! So today I begin my #flashbackfriday series by writing about one of my most favourite restaurants and thats none other than ...Sanchos
.
The first thing you notice when walking over to Sanchos in the upscale neighbourhood of Bandra, is its bold red wooden doors. The interiors aim to evoke the colourful yet laid-back spirit of Mexico.
.
Moving on to the food..The menu offers a play of tastes and textures through an eclectic mix of veg & non-veg dishes, with its focus on importing key ingredients that are essential to Mexican cuisine, right from the homeland.
.
So here were some of my top favourites:
1. The Fiesta Nachos - Its loaded with with guacamole, sour cream, beans and cheese...A dish that will likely vanish within seconds of it reaching your table !
2. Tostaditas Tingas - Braised chipotle pulled chicken, with sour cream, avocado and a delicious cottage cheese
3. Quesadila Suprema - The mozarella in the handmade tortilla was stringy and inert and was served with dips that actually woke up the dish
4. Burrito Bowl - Homemade tortilla filled with beans, pilaf rice, pico de gallo, cream & chipotle salsa
5. Lamb chops rubbed in chipotle sauce, along with an eggplant puree and adobo sauce.
.
Never really tried any desserts here but for all my friends that simply adore Tres Leches, let me assure you this favourite is on offer.
.
When it comes to trying different flavours & experiencing a taste of Mexico, Sancho's fares well amongst various other Mexican cuisine restaurants in the city. While authentic is very subjective, I truly believe that a Mexican meal here is close to the real deal possible.
Get All Mex’d Up, at Sancho's♥️ as it'll make you fall in love with colours, spice & everything nice!💋
—————
For a true Tex-Mex and Cal-Mex experience we had:
•Classic Nachos- house fried tortilla chips, refried beans, guacamole, pico de gallo, queso sauce & pickled jalapeños
•Tacos🌮 Dorados- yellow corn rolled+fried+stuffed tortilla with black beans & topped with lettuce+sour cream+ 🥑 sauce+morita Chile salsa+ pico de gallo
•Veggie Quesadilla- handmade wheat flour tortilla + melted quesso + salsa + guacamole + sour cream
•Trés Leche Cake- vanilla sponge cake drowned in whipped cream & three milk concoction
—————
Expect a lot of Mexican food with fresh ingredients, grilled meats, seafood, tacos of all sorts, and plenty of vegetarian options paired with some mood-lifting cocktails & appealing desserts!💥💚

We visited this place on a Sunday Evening for my dad's birthday. We were craving mexican and honestly there are not even a handful restaurants that do justice to Mexican cuisine.
Sanchos has been revamped, the music gives an entire narcos feel to it.I loved how the seating is indoors but yet outdoors. The entrance has these big red doors too, decor is themed perfectly.
The food was upto the mark
We ordered
1)Nachos: Must order,we were seriously thinking of repeating the dish.
2)The mushroom tacos ,perfect! The kale was a unique touch.Perfect fresh taco shells
3)Taco torados
4)Quesidillas
5)Enchiladas: Baked to perfection
6)Burritos: Has scope for improvement
7)Churros ! amazing with three sauces!
Definitely coming back! Service food ambience , everything was on point👍
Sanchos super mexican food. Thanks to Welcome Employee Ms.Hemali Rajput super response great warm welcome , Table was ready on Time . Thank you Ms.Hemali Rajput for All support .we appreciate as a guest such a great services.
It's hard to find any good Mexican places around. Sancho's caught my eye on Zomato. We tried their lamb quesadilla and Baja fish tacos. The lamb was very well cooked, but the quesadilla was loaded with bell peppers, which was not really to my taste so 4/5.
Sancho’s is one of the standalone Mexican restaurants in the city. Sancho is a perfect restaurant for tex-mex food. The place is just wow with modern, stylish and elegant interiors by Gauri Khan.
The seating arrangement is relaxed. The wooden tables and chairs, some colourful cushions throughout. The bright yellow light in the outdoor and dim yellow light at indoor seating is the highlight. The bar display is eye catching. A welcome with typical Sombrero hats and Mariachi band you might expect giving you a different experience altogether. The staff is smart and interactive with the guest. The crowd entering the restaurant is elite and classy. I experienced the five course Mexican meal. The quantity is for one and quality is mainly focused upon. I opted for a healthy date and muesli smoothie which was made with care. It had no added sugar it was naturally sweeten also the muesli crunch while having the smoothie was enhancing the taste.
To elaborate about my five course meal, I started with Antojitos called for Sancho’s legendary Habanero this is lovely appetizer its neither Mexican nor tex max it’s a best seller and suggested by the staff its sanchos staple dish marinated coated paneer tossed with in house prepared habanero spicy and tangy served with mayo and French fries mouth watering and chatpata highly recommended.
Sopa which is soup called for Magos Tortilla Soup which was thick prepared with expertise it was tasty and healthy.
In Tacos opted for Sweet Potato it was roasted sweet potato which crispy kale, along with feta cheese red onions and salsa it was lip smacking.
In mains Enchilades being my favorite and appeared tempting yellow corn tortilla with ranchera sauce, lettuce, cream, melted cheese served with Mexican rice and beans enough for one it was yummm and cherishing.
To conclude with the dessert Tres leches being my mood maker sponge vanilla cake topped wipped cream and drowned in three milk concoction.
The Mexican five course meal was worth experiencing and was Unforgettable.
Sanchos is a mexican focused restro, interiors are done by gauri khan and are eye catchyy!
Nice place to hangout with frds & family
We tried 5 course meal named "the essence of sanchos"
We had:
1.Baja Non tea-Its a non alcholic beverage & quite refreshing madeup of hibiscus tea, lime & ginger ale
ANTOJITOS:
1.Paneer Sanchos legendary habaneo-Paneer cubes sauted in habaneo sauce,it was spicy in terms of taste.
SOPA:
1.Magos Tortilla Sopa-Soup was really amazing & creamy it was topped with avocado slices, tortilla shreds
TACOS:
1.Spinach Tacos-It had spinach,corn,jalapenos & mayo
MAINS:
Enchiladas-It was basically yellow roll with ranchera sauce, shredded lettuce & melted cheese served with mexican rice & beans
DESSERTS:
1.Thyme cheese cake-Amazing in terms if taste, loved its taste!
Sancho's: Located in khar this place serves authentic Mexican delicacies.. the service is quick.. the ambience is eye catching.. the Restaurant is spacious can accommodate large groups..
Coming to the food I had a five course meal .. started with VEG MAGOS TORTILLA SOUP (recommend) it is creamier version of tortilla soup topped with avocado, tortilla shreads and some cream.. taste 5/5
.
Then the other thing we had was GREEN SALAD it had veggies like bellpeppers, mixed lettuce, olives, roasted baby corn, coriander, carrots , cucumber, zucchini.. tastes amazing.. definitely worth the try..
.
Coming to the appetizer I had SANCHO'S LEGENDARY HABANERO (recommend) panner and other veggies like bellpeppers were tossed in spicy habanero sauce and served with fries..
For the mains I had ENCHILADAS .. the taste was amazing.. it had yellow corn tortillas, ranchers sauce, shredded lettuce and melted cheese cheese served with Mexican rice and beans..
And for the dessert I had UV's TRES LECHES (highly recommend) taste 5/5.
Sanchos is an exceptional and eminent casual dining place serving authentic mexican food at Khar west. The place is lit up beautifully with its eye catching interiors and decors done by Gauri Khan just like Arth, Khar where both this places belongs to the same group.
Recently the place introduces an amazing 5 course meal named as "the Essence of Sancho's " along with ala carte menu that gives a complete delightful dining experience. Myself with my friends visited this place on Thursday to try this 5 course meal and were surprised to see in short time all the tables were fully occupied.
We decided to take an indoor seating and opted for 5course meal which had good options to choose from appetizers mains and desserts. All of us decided to select different things so we can have a taste of all delicacies and let me say everythng was cooked as well as presentated perfectly and was superb in taste.
▪️Baja Non tea - opted for this non alcoholic beverage made from hibuscus tea, sugar, lime and ginger ale that was fizzy, tangy and refreshing.
▪️Magos Tortilla Sopa - it was an outstanding creamy soup garnished with tortilla shreds, sour cream, pasilla chile glaze and avocado slices.
▪️Molletitos - its a Mexican Bruschetta made with spread of refried beans topped with melted cheese and pico de galo salsa was delicious antojitos ... little cravings before the mains.
▪️Habanera - its a lovely appetizer made from soft paneer cubes marinated, coated with wheat flour, fried and tossed in in house special habanero sauce was sweet spicy combination, awesome and totally yumm.
▪️Sweet Potato Tacos - A vegetarian open tacos made from soft wheat flour tortilla topped with roasted sweet potatoes, crispy kale, feta cheese, red onions and arbol chile salsa was something different and good in taste.
▪️Enchiladas - An outstanding mains made from yellow corn tortilla, ranchera sauce, shredded lettuce, pico de gallo, cream and melted cheese served with mexican rice and beans thick gravy was scrumptious and must try for all.
▪️Pina Colada - Its was a unique and luscious dessert made from vanilla, coconut cream, pineapple and rum granite served in martini glass was perfect ending to the delicious meal.
The service was excellent and the attendents were also polite, prompt in explaining and then rightfully suggesting each dish suitable according to our taste.
A place must to visit for a lovely culinary experience if you love mexican food.
A very beautiful place in the hearts of khar with eye catching ambience and wonderful service and great authentic mexican delicacies.
We had a 5 course meal which consisted of good options to choose from.
Baja non tea which had hibiscus tea, ginger ale, sugar and lemon which was good and refreshing with tangy taste.
Magos tortilla soup was just amazing and thick topped with some fried tortilla.
Greens salad was one of the best with lots of shredded veggies with green chile and corriander dressing.
Sanchos legendary hebanaro was the best one which had fresh paneer tossed in hebanaro sauce it was spicy and served with french fries and mayo. It was lovely.
Spinach tacos had soft taco tortilla with spinach and corn and jalepeno mayo we had asked not to add mushrooms.
The veg enchiladas were very nice it had beans filled in tortilla topped with cheese and salsa, pica da galo the portion was enough for a person to be full.
In deserts the thyme cheese cake was only available which was amazing which had a layer of cheese cake and upper layer had dryfruits and was unique.
Overall it was a fantastic dining experience.
I was recently invited to review this space and would rate it 4/5. for more, read on:
Situated one footpath away from Out of the Blue, Sanchos is a Mexican focused restaurant run by the same group that runs 'Arth'in Khar. The interiors are designed by Gauri Khan and are absolutely stunning (just like those at Arth). Instagram friendly space this, youngsters should go check it out!
We decided to take a seat in their outdoor area and proceeded to enjoy a lovely meal. Details below:
We drank:
1. Classic Margarita: anyone who appreciates a well made Margarita (this baby is made from Tequila) should definitely try their take. Absolutely lovely, refreshing and a great start to our meal. One happy Senorita: check!!
2. White wine Sangria: I usually prefer Red wine Sangria but decided to experiment and get this baby, which was a good decision again. It was lovely and the fruits used in it were absolutely yummy. go for it!
We ate:
3. Sanchos Legendary Habanero (Paneer): being an eggetarian, I decided to try this baby in its Paneer version and it was absolutely great. Fresh Paneer, lovely sweet spicy sauce make this an absolute hit (no wonder it features on their 'Essence of Sanchos' menu)
4. Guajillo Lamb Taco: now the Senorita who came along for the review enjoys her lamb and gave an absolute 2 thumbs up to this taco. I don't eat lamb but I can safely vouch for this dish, knowing that she is as much of a foodie as I am!!
5. Mushroom Taco: one of the disappointments of the evening, the mushroom itself was not too fresh and I made the mistake of asking for a softer taco shell, which didn't help the cause. Avoidable!
6. Veracruz Fish: the fish inside was a red snapper and the dish is served with a small, delicious helping of rice that my companion enjoyed. Again, fish lovers, this is the dish to try here, cannot go wrong! It comes wrapped in a leaf and is cooked to absolute perfection (her words, not mine!).
7. Veggie Burger: not being a huge fan of kidney beans (a significant feature of most Mexican dishes), I decided to try their burger instead, asked for it to be made with a sunny side up fried egg! Once again, a great decision, absolutely loved the burger! Fresh bread, lovely patty and a sunny side up fried golden brown! Perfection indeed, enjoyed this messy but sexy burger down to the last bite! Burger lovers, you cannot go wrong with this one!!
8. UV's Tres Leches: as a huge huge fan of milk cakes, I am happy to state that this one is an absolutely brilliant version, deserving of its own fan page! Not just in terms of how it looks, but how good it tastes! Perfectly moist and spongy, and oh my god, is that 3 milk concoction at the bottom amazing or what? I would go all the way to Bandra again just to eat this amazing baby! That's how good it is!! Take a bow, Chef!!
9. Churros: aah Churros, comfort food for us fans of the sweet nothings that make life so worthwhile!! Again, beautifully prepared and generously dusted with cinnamon and sugar powder! This baby is served with 3 amazing dips, all of which are awesomer than awesome (Tequila Caramel, Chocolate and Strawberry Compote) and left us ending the meal on a happy high note!!
Love Mexican Food? Go to Sanchos! Love a Good Tres Leches? Go to Sanchos!!
Want to take your beautiful Senorita out and treat her to an amazing Margarita? Go to Sanchos!!
Great experience team! Service could be a little slicker though!
4/5 from me, be back here for those amazing desserts!!
Love......
The guac was to die for.
The burgers can be given a miss.
The ambience is just unmissable, would want to come here again and again just for the vibe of the place. The food options are very limited though, especially for vegetarian but you can definitely come here for the authenticity.

Enchiladas and Churros a must have. Ambience pretty nice it gives you a warm feeling, especially with your loved ones. Expensive with respect to the portion served but must try.
Esquites : An off-the-cob grilled Mexican street food preparation with roasted sweet corn with jalapeño mayo, onion, garlic, epazote, homemade lemon chili sauce and a dash of lime juice. Tastes smoky, sweet, tangy, and spicy - all at the same time. LOVED it! ⠀
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⠀⠀⠀
⠀
Tacos Dorados : Also known as a taquito, these are yellow corn tortillas rolled, fried and stuffed with black beans, and loaded with lettuce, sour cream, fresh queso, avocado sauce, pico de Gallo, morita chile salsa. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, the beans gave it a great flavor and texture!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⠀⠀⠀
⠀
Fajitas : Soft handmade tortillas served with grilled sweet onions, peppers with refrito beans, rice, salsa, corn on the cob, guacamole, sour cream, chipotle salsa. DIY your own tortilla wrap with fillings of your choice. Was a bit disappointed with the veggie preparation, a little too bland for my liking. ⠀
⭐⭐⭐⠀⠀⠀
⠀
Churros : Artisanal handcrafted churros with tequila dulce de leche, salted chocolate, and strawberry rosemary compote. Just 5 minutes before we were served these I was talking about how I’m not a big fan of churros, and as soon as I bit into this one I changed my minds completely! Crunchy, with the perfect amount of sugar coating, and heavenly cinnamon flavors - your meal is incomplete without this one!⠀
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Tip: Make your reservation through EazyDiner and get these complimentary!

By far the best Mexican food in the city. The Baja fish tacos are definitely a favorite when we come. But there are so many delicious, authentic dishes to choose from, such as the Enchiladas, Burritos, Nachos, and other Tacos. On top of the amazing food, the service is impeccable. Very fast, helpful, and polite. The cook and servers went out of their way to help us decide what to order and give us a great experience. Could not possibly rate this restaurant any less than a perfect 10.
Great, great cocktails and ambiance, but sadly, the food was not quite up to mark.
Regarding my experience at Sanchos, I must say that the place has a great ambiance and is located in a fantastic neighborhood, so plus points for that.
Coming to the F&B, we went for Tacos Dorados (nothing special), Chips with Guacamole (good), Grilled Chicken Quesadilla (average) and Tres Leches (wonderful, absolute delight) for dessert.
For drinks we ordered Hibiscus Tea Mocktail (Not sure if that's the name for it, nonetheless, it was quite decent) and the Vaquera cocktail (outstanding cocktail, I am yet to have a better whiskey cocktail)
So overall, plus points for the cocktails, guacamole and ambiance. The food is quite average (or perhaps I was expecting a bit too much? I was expecting the standards of Mexican joints abroad like Chipotle)
Overall: 3.5/5
The best thing about this place is actually food! Loved everything that we ordered. Ambience and friendly service complements it. There also was a very nice performance on senorita by a Spanish lady in the same style, that was pretty much amazing. Would definitely visit again.
Food ambience all was great. Only The sponge cake with condensed milk is ughhhh. I really wanted to Barf after tasting that.
Amazing mexican food, great ambience, friendly staff
Beauifully done place wid well trained staff and amazing foood.... Do visit...
This is the first time I felt a restaurant deserved a 5 star rating . The decor is so pretty and the seating is so comfortable that I felt that it's already worth it. They play such good music that it just adds to the happy vibe. Their service is second to none- polite, friendly, helpful and quick. The menu is so good that it might just confuse you.
Here's what we had:
Drinks:
Baja Non-Tea (MUST TRY)
Canned Orange Juice
Starters:
Grilled Chicken Nachos (MUST MUST HAVE)
Main Course:
Chicken Hot Dog
Grilled Chicken Quesadilla (MUST MUST HAVE)
Dessert:
Churros ( MUSSSSSST MUST MUST HAVE)
Their sauces and dips are something else. 😍
It is worth every penny you pay. The vibe, the service, and the food- everything so perfect that you will have an unforgettable dinner.
Definitely coming back.
TIP: Make a reservation.

We have a thing for restaurant interiors and Sancho’s kills it with their decor.. designed by Gauri Khan.
It looks like we are obsessed with Nachos here but who would not be if your nachos look so amazing! (Highly Recomended)
What we loved at Sancho’s :
- Nachos Reventon : Loads you up with the goodness of Mexican food! Home fried chips with refried beans at the bottom with guacamole and jalapeno on the top.
- Nana’s Tortilla Soup : Its classic tortilla soup garnished with tortilla sour cream and avocado.
- Tacos Dorados : We really liked the Mexican black beans with ice berg lettuce, sour cream, salsa folded in crunchy taco shell.
- Enchiladas Straight Up : Things that matter come in twos with yellow corn, sauce topped with melted cheese, chipotle mayonnaise and homemade tortilla perfectly made to our liking.
- Caulifornia Taco : Chipotle mayonnaise, salsa, cabbage, pico de gallo on tortilla.
- Baja Non-Tea : One of our favourite drink at Sancho’s quite refreshing.. hibiscus tea mix of sugar & lime with ginger ale.
A perfect place to enjoy the lovely ambiance lit-up by the evening, music, some food & drinks.

Mexcian cuisine🌮 is my all time favourite comfort food & there is no better place than Sanchos who serve authentic mexcian dishes in the city. The interior and decor gives a very vintage vibe🚪. The food portions are fairly large hence I don’t end up ordering more items.
What I order:
- Chicken Quesadilla
- Grilled Chicken Nachos
- Tres Leches Cake
Update: The Restaurant Chef (who was a really nice gentleman) called me up and explained that it was a mistake and it wouldn't happen again. The problem was a one off problem and wouldn't happen again. Sanchos continues to remain my favourite restaurant in Mumbai.
Sanchos is my family's favourite restaurant. I say this to really press in the fact that, My family and I really love this place and frequent this place and have been doing so since it first opened up.
Having said that, today my visit to Sanchos was a huge disappointment. The biggest plus point of the restaurant used to be its fresh ingredients and gorgeous food. They took the principle of non-complicated food with really good base ingredients and really executed beauty of Mexican food. It used to be nothing short of a 5/5.
Having said this... What happened? For the first time ever, my cheese quesadilla tasted like Amul cheese. Salty, sour and really unfavourable. The salsa tasted average and the chips were stale. I couldn't bring myself to take issue with any of this as I was with my family and didn't want to ruin the experience but I do want to say that this disappoints me greatly.
In the end, I'll still go to Sanchos as it is my dad's favourite place in Mumbai to go and eat but not somewhere I can take my friends to anymore. I just really really hope that Sanchos fixes its problems and just goes back to how good it used to be. The restaurant has really good memories attached to it and it'd be a shame for it go down in quality this way.
Amazing ambience !! High ceilings . Loved the decor & have always loved their food quality & taste . There are very few mexican restaurants who carry themselves with such poise ❣. Chips & Salsa 😍 Avacado with chips 😍 truffle chipotle mashed potatoes were to die for 😍😍 the veg nachos were pretty good too . The had the veg quesadillas / burrito bowl / fajitas all were very tasty & good portions too . The Hopper Belgium wit beer 🍻🍺🍻 was fantastic❣ Ended on a sweet note with Churros which was the icing on the cake 😍😍 . Had a wonderful time overall & all vfm ... would love to come back again soon !!

Our old time favourite Mexican restaurant - Sanchos reopened a couple of months back and have a few additions to their menu from our previous visit! We appreciate their constant effort to better their menu, definitely recommend a visit for some rich and authentic flavours!
Our review: Must go🤤
Sorry for making things GUACward! 🥑
What we ordered!
From the special Menu:
Bean and cheese molletitos (must have)
Live Guacamole with truffle oil
Fiesta nachos (must have)
From the regular Menu:
Enchiladas(must have)
Sanchos legendary Habanero in paneer
Quesadilla Suprema-chefs garden selection(must have)
Burrito (must have)
Desserts:
Pinacoloda (must must have)
Thyme cheese cake (don’t have 👎🏻)
Chic themed decor, great service and authentic fresh food. I often drop in just for a tres leches cake here. Best dessert in Bandra.
A most lively atmosphere, great music and decor got me to spontaneously dance to flamenco with the immensely talented performer! The washroom is also such a stunner, with it's full-length mirror and gaudy decorations. The quantities were sufficient and the authenticity of the Mexican dishes were particularly mentioned in the menu, which was a subtle and classy touch. The cheesecake was the only part of the experience that was underwhelming, but overall, with the live scenes, plating and decor, Sancho's is a sure winner!
Food recommended:
Quesedilla
Ambience/décor: 10/10
Service: 10/10
Quality of food/drinks: 9/10
VFM: 9/10
Loved the churros ice cream.. Nice and cozy place to chill
The best place in Mumbai to get some Mexican goodness!!! There drink menu is ridonk! I mean all the drinks are I have almost tried everyone. I would not put so much fat in the pork belly tacos, but they are the belly so naturally has the fatty bits. Still!
Had heard a lot about Sancho's! So, I was obviously expecting to be blown away by this place. Unfortunately I wasn't. Don't get me wrong, the food was good. Anyway, coming to the food and drinks.
Veg Nachos 5/5
Shroom Shroom tacos 4/5
Carnitas tacos 3.5/5
Chicken Quesadilla 3/5
Churros 5/5
Tommys at Sanchos drink 4/5
Overall I want to give this place a 3.5...but I will give it a 4 just for the churros. The churros were light and they come with 3 dips - strawberry, chocolate and caramel tequila. DO NOT MISS OUT ON THE CHURROS!
Brilliant atmosphere......
Usually I don't drink but I went there with my friends just I have a juice there and I was very much surprised there in fact we were able to enjoy there first time i was drinking juice with my drinkers friend but the time was so special for me
And the theme is something fabulous
Thanks sanchos
Hola..Mexican Food lovers.. !!
Finally visited the not so newly yet newly reopened Sanchos.. I was a fan of theirs earlier but now I'm an even bigger fan..
The big red door entrance is unmissable & prelude to the vibrancy. Love what they've done with the seating & the place as a whole.. very contemporary cool.. A floor above as indoors when you can practically look outdoors.. brilliant idea..!
The waiting staff is polite, cheerful & very accommodative of your needs..
The food portions are sumptuous. Sufficient for 2-3people easily. And the presentation is colourfully up lifting.
Our order:
Drinks
1) Mango & Coffee smoothie- Interesting combination. Smooth and a palate changing drink.
2) Baja Non Tea- Summery fresh.
Food
1) Nachos Revention ( Must Try)
Sooo good. Sooo filling. Sooo tasty! Authentic classic Mexican flavours make it binge worthy.
2) Quesadilla Superma In Chicken (Must Try)
Soft chunks of Chicken, cheesy, super delectable .. So Mexican flavour pizza like that it melts in your mouth ..
We were a party of two so these portions were quite filling & we were looking forward to the desserts from the minute we had entered.
Desserts
1) Churros ( Must try)
They are super soft ,cinnamon-ny, melt worthy with three different sauces.
2) Tres Leches Cake( Must must try)
Probably the most popular of the dishes here & rightly so. Very few cakes nail the ideal combination. The perfect sweet, the perfect moist & the perfect creamy. A definite must try. And a perfect finish to the meal.
All in all I'd say
5/5 for Ambience
5/5 for Food & presentation
5/5 for Service
Wanted to try some Mexican cuisine and pop came up Sanchos' name on our search screen. Went on a Monday evening, yes you read that correct M-O-N-D-A-Y. Place was quite full in spite of it being that dreaded day of the week. Ambience was 👌🏻 Our captain was also 👌🏻
Now coming to the food, boy did we order.
Paneer Habanero - 5/5
Veg Toastadeta - 4/5
Veg Burrito - 3/5
Veg Enchilada - 3/5
Lamb Taco - 5/5
Pollo Loco Chicken - 500/5 🤩🤩🤩 if you don't try this on your visit I pity you
Tres Leches Cake - 5/5
Some cheesecake 🤔🤔🤔 - 3/5
Will definitely pay a visit to my amigo again
The ambience of this restaurant is amazing. Right through the entry is a fancy orange door which will get your attention for sure followed by a beautiful chandalier.
The interiors are amazing.
Now coming to the most important thing - the food.
I love Mexican food and sancho's definitely might be among the best Mexican fine dines in Mumbai.
The nachos are amazing so is the burrito n burrito bowl.
The fresh guacamole is always good and you can always ask for extra salsa and guac for the burrito bowl (it's actually makes it better).
Definitely save some space for the famous Mexican churros. They have a Live performance in every 15 mins or so. A lady dances on some Mexican song and she even makes you dance.
Just one thing I dint appreciate. I had ordered for fresh guacamole. The serving lady told me it wasn't available and she served it 15 mins later on the other table. After confronting her she said it is available now.
Gorgeous vibe, perfect music and lovely food to go with. The fiesta nachos and churros are lovely, the guacamole was super fresh and so authentic. The wine list is beautiful, so are the cocktails! Loved the Reventon Punch (although it says serves 4, it works pretty great for two) - especially because it uses Sol. Worth a visit, this place.
Loved the warm vibe of the place done up well seating well placed... service is good n the staff extremely polite... the food was good to the burrito bowl ,salad,Dorito’s with guacamole n salsa ,enchiladas,Mexican rice .. an njoible Sunday afternoon meal .
Topped it with their dessert which was suggested by the server uv trench cake ..oh the churrros were awesome how did I forget .
A nice joint for authentic Mexican cuisine Sanchos is just the place to be. The food ambiance and service all on point. We loved the vibes and the interiors too.
This place is a delight. Excellent ambience and vibe. It’s beautiful. Food is great too. Small portions though. We had a great time. Only issue. I had a lstrand of hair in my fish main course. When I approached the staff. He took it back immediately. But came back to me saying that the chef says it cannot be from the kitchen as we don’t have long hair here. Lol. I mean ya I plucked my hair and dived into the fish tore it apart and put the hair. Besides this we had a great time.
The best place to eat😍
I really loved the food. The most amazing place I really loved the spice and taste of the food❤It's really amazing yummmy 😍
After a long time, a major standalone Mexican restaurant has been set up in Mumbai. which is open through the day and equipped with a well-stocked bar and well-priced menu. The place is beautifully done with both outdoor and indoor spacious seating and the place has a vibrant two large wooden doors which opens to the place. Best for taking pictures.
Coming to the food The Fiesta Nachos loaded with guacamole, sour cream, beans and cheese are one of the best starters. We loved their Mexican street corn which is poached corn with mayonese, aged cotija, lime and tajin. Messy but yummy.
Some other options which I tried was Taco Dorados, flame grilled quesadillas, fuego fajitas, pollo asado. They all were cooked to perfection.
I was stuffed by the end of it, but there’s always room for dessert, especially the piping hot Churros, cinnamon- and sugar-dusted, crisp and tender at the same time.
Sancho’s offers a variety of cocktails such as the Margarita Classic, the Tequila Veracruz and a large variety of martinis. I tried their seasonal slush margarita and loved how good it was.
Worth visiting and recommending if you are a sucker for Mexican food.
Sancho's is a really nice place to enjoy some fairly authentic Mexican fare.
We went there fore a very early dinner (7:00pm) as they were all booked up from 8:00pm onwards.
We ordered some nachos and tacos and some margaritas.
Now the classic margarita is not on the menu and priced much higher than the flavored margaritas on the menu, so I suggest you check the price before ordering off menu.
The nachos were damn good, while the tacos were quite spicy. So while the place is fairly authentic, there has been some Indianization of the menu.
Will visit again nonetheless.
Great place for authentic Mexican Food! Tacos and Nachos are the key dishes to try. I celebrated my 20th birthday with close friends on 17th July and I couldn't have imagined a better place to celebrate. Thank you for making it extremely memorable!
I would like to thank the manager Ashish for organising my birthday dinner so well. The food and drinks were amazing along with the personal attention given to make it a special and memorable night for my friends and me. Thank you Sanchos for the amazing hospitality!!!
It’s great to have Sancho’s back in Bandra! Already been there a few times and I think I can go back a 100 times just for the chicken nacho’s and the fish tacos (opt for the soft tacos). The vibe is great and the food, like before is just yum!
Finally after a long time went to this place for dinner. The ambiance, the lights, the mood & the vibe is spot on. The music makes this place even better. For the appetizers we called for the chips, guac and sals trio. The cerde cili salsa was the best. We also had the nachos which were spot on. no complaints. The paneer habanaro tasted fine. But have had better. Visiting Sanchos, you cannot miss the SHROOM SHROOM taco. It was probably the best this I had that evening-till I had dessert ;). The enchiladas were nicely made. The dessert is obviously the Tres Leches cake. When Sanchos shut a few year ago, this was once thing I missed the most. The dessert has not changed one bit. It still tastes amazing and always craving for more. Overall the place, the food and the ambiance were great. I am glad Sanchos is back. My only wish is that they should have better presentation.
I heard of Sancho’s years ago before it temporarily shut and moved to its new location, the interiors are really beautiful and the since I’m a lover of Mexican food this place is perfect. They also play good Mexican music that will make you want to tap your feet. The pork taco was my favourite also the lamb nachos. Among the desserts I LOVED the churros as well as the Tres Leches cake !! Sanchos ❤️
A wonderful bar for a great evening. Loving the place. Really nice ambiance. Great cocktails by Vishal, cheers man. We all had amazing time here
I went here for lunch and tried variety of their Mexican dishes all in veg, from their Nachos to Fajitas to Quesadillas and every dish was lipsmacking. But that one dish which won our hearts was their dessert - Tres Leches Cake. Yummiest dessert i have had.
I am just planning to go back thier again and going to repeat my last meal. :D
Visited this place on Saturday night. Good place with a postive ambience. The cocktails are really good . We ordered for a starter -Chicken whoch was really spicy. Quantotu was sufficient. Would visit this place again for cocktails.
What an ambience! The food is superlative and I liked the drinks a lot. The service was very good. Especially loved the bathroom (must visit)!!
Awesome time spent with besties. Redone the place as heard from friends and it's a complete change from the old one. Budget friendly and courteous staff. Drinks and food are best for their originality and good amount of portion.
Perhaps the only authentic Mexican restaurant in the country. Chef Victor is exceptionally talented in bringing forth a homely feeling to a cuisine that has more often than not been morphed into something completely different than it is supposed to be, all the way from Mexico to Mumbai. If i could give it 6 out of 5 stars, I would.
Their Gringo is delicious... So delicious that I finished half the glass in one go.. 😆😘
I asked for their spiciest chicken starter and got this.. It was very very delicious..
Well.. Everything there is yum.. And the staff is very helpful..
The decor is gorgeous... Ever frame is a perfect background for great pictures... 😍
If you are craving tex-mex, or just wanting to try for the first time, this is the definitive place to be. Great ambience, seating options and lighting. Super attentive, friendly service adds to the experience. If planning a Saturday evening there, be sure to book a few days in advance - they get very full that day. Walking in on other days works - though table booking is advisable, if you don't much like to wait.
Visited this place for an afternoon brunch.
Loved the fajitas and the place. The smoothie wasn't so great.
Would definitely go back for Mexican food, Sangria and the vibe.
Valet parking with good ambiance made us comfortable immediately. Soup and starters were perfect with good flavors. Main course and desert was equally excellent and super service. Thanks Zomato

First things first, I will talk about the delicious Mexican fare! How amazing was everything on the menu - loved the habanero paneer which was served with fries, black bean tacos, burrito, their CLASSIC NACHOS (#1), the Tres leches cake .. loved everything! The tortilla soup was not to my liking but if you’re into it - Do try it!
Sanchos, by far the best mexican restaurant I’ve been to. It’s ambiance, decor and of course food really won my heart to the core. Their spot on service and hospitality is what leaves you in awe and makes you wanna come back for sure.
Caldo De Piedra 5/5 Must have soup. Prepared at your table giving a drama effect. The soup with shrimps are prepared using a stone which the chef explains and demonstrates on your table itself. Go for it blindly, it’s worth it.
Nachos Reventon 5/5 Loaded nachos with grilled chicken, beans, sour cream, salsa. Everything you need in a nachos bowl.
Lobster Cups 5/5 Keto option where the yummy lobsters are served in lettuce cups skipping the carbs. A must have for weight watchers.
Habanero Tequilla Prawns 5/5 Dragon prawns served over a bed of pilaf rice and a sauce. Lovely texture and taste of the entire dish. I loved it.
UVs Tres Leches Cake
Churros
Without a doubt the best desserts you will find here.
We had a great time sipping on Margarita while we savored the delicious dishes in the pleasant ambiance.
Oh yeah of course, the interior was indoor and outdoor at the same time, which created our experience all the more interesting.
Love the place and food !
The only thing did not appreciate was that i went during lunch and bcoz they have open gates the AC was not sufficient !
I ate nachos , burritos and and oldmonk inused tres les ! And it was worth it !
The Old Monk Infused Tres Les is a must try 😍💯
This place shouts Mexican flavours in terms of decor, vibe , music and food ofcourse. Big tables , very well spaced out to give privacy to individual tables. Plenty of Vegetarian options and the floor manager made sure he suggested some best dishes on the menu. Highlight of the dinner was the Queso dip with tortilla chips. You will love all the cocktails here and all the concoctions tried were also superb. Desserts don't have an eggless option.
We called for the following dishes.
1. White boy Queso dip - Not your usual nachos and Salsa
2. Sanchos legendary Habanero (paneer) - SPiced Paneer
3. Enchiladas - Soft and perfectly filled with beans
4. Baja ice tea - Refreshing
5. Sanchos paloma - favourite on the cocktails menu
6. Tommy at Sanchos - Authentic mexican drink
Fulfill your mexican cravings at none other than Sancho's.

We recently visited Tori, Bandra and we tried their non vegetarian lunch menu. For the starters, we had their snapper ceviche which was definitely a new and delightful experience. Their mocktails were super refreshing and just the correct companion to their food. The prawn tempura maki was a definite winner. The crunchy tempura prawn went perfectly well with quinoa and tanuki. Their Shanghai shrimp dumplings were super flavourful and juicy. Mongolian chicken clay pot was an amazing combination of succulent chicken gravy along with burnt garlic fried rice. We ended our meal with Tres Leches which was sweet and soft, just melt in your mouth. Their service was amazing making our experience delightful
