The menu consists of all types of Indian cuisine from Punjabi to chaat to Chinese.
Coming to what I ordered,
Pav bhaji
Butter pav bhaji was utterly delicious and mouth watering. Served along with 3 pav.
It is value for money and tasty.
The staff is sweet n polite.

Best place to have authentic south indian food at in borivali. The ambiance is spacious and comfortable. Also the rate are reasonable price. Located at main road. A perfect place to go with family and friends. Nice and clean premises. Prompt service. Overall enjoyed the food and would definitely recommend it!!!

So what happened was my parents were hungry nd bored, Mom was too bored to cook. Not very fun to do the same thing every day with no offs. So I decided to come here as it is nearby. Place is a bit dimly lit for me, but the arrangement to sit is very easy. Never had paneer 65 this good around town. Kasmiri pulav from here was perfection.
Status provide very good taste in Indian foods. It is a purely vegetarian hotel... Many a times I had my dinner over here.. As it is located near my ๐ก resident. The food served is very masaledar ๐ I mean tasty. I had butter nun n kohlapuri bhaji after that kohlapuri biryani.. Staffs are very polite.. The ambience is good .
Visited this place after a movie in maxus mall, A pure vegetarian Restaurant @gorai the price here are reasonable and the food were also good.

We were on our way home and wanted to have a quick bite while on a long drive near Gorai Area and that's how we came across this cool outlet .
We just tried the following two things out here .
Veg Cheese Grilled Sandwich .
Our rating jumps to 4 thanks to this delight of the outlet . It has a perfect mix of veggies and cheese layer by layer . Just loved it. Shall have this every time we visit Gorai .
Masala Dosa :
Yummy stuffing of Masala with in crisp dosa . They serve really luscious Sambhar to go along side .

No strong beers... No draught beers..... Serving 30ml of liquor in one serve(not mentioned in the menu).....
Apart from that..... Their food is one of the reasons I'll visit that place for often...

Status is one of the oldest family Vegetarian restaurants in Gorai. It is a very pocket friendly restaurant. Over the years, there has not been any significant rise in the price range of food.
Full marks for the quality as well as the quantity of food. We generally have dinner here and opt for sabjis like Paneer Tikka Masala, Veg. Kolhapuri, Paneer Bhurji and Malai Kofta (sweet but in proper balance).
Also, it is very famous for it's Family Dosa ( An extremely large Dosa which would require 4 normal individuals to finish it). Pav-bhaji is also one of the recommended dishes in Status.
Recently it got renovated. It has a simple & decent ambiance now. It has AC as well as Open section. The staff is very polite and are always ready to serve you.
There should be an improvement in the quality of utensils ( glass, spoon, plates in the Non-AC section) since those are really old now and need a replacement.
In conclusion, I would say that it is a very decent and pocket friendly family restaurant with great quality and quantity of food. Definitely recommended ๐

Have Been Here ... its The oldest & Famous restaurant in Gorai Area. The Taste Of Food is Really Good & Even They Have Maintained a Good Quality.
I ordered paneer tikka. The food was amazing. Paneer was so properly baked that it just got smashed in my mouth. The veggies in it were properly fried and they taste amazing.

We had dinner here once. Its near to Maxus Cinema Borivali and near to our home also. We tried here Hot and Sour Soup, Paneer Crispy, Main Course, Naan, Roti and Tawa Pulav. All were tasting good but not great. Quality we didnt feel that much great,+0.5. Quantity was good, +1. Prices are more than quality of food, -1. Service was also not fast as expected, -1. Interiors are well maintained and ambiance is good, +1. So overall ratings come to 2.5 stars. So need to improve some quality of food and service. So revisiting again to try othet food items and will review again.

We decided to have dinner here after long time. This time all food, service and ambiance are improved a lot. We orderred Idly Chilli, Cheese Pav Bhaji, Tawa Pulav etc. All served fast and food also tasty. Quality was nice, food tasting delicious, +1. Quanity also enough for 2 as per pricing, +1. Prices also reasonable, +1. Service was fast polite, +1. Preparation also nice and arrangamemt of seats and ambiance was awesome, +1. Well deserving 5 stars. Now improved a lot in all aspects, so changing my ratings to 5 stars.

Which offers North indian , South indian ,Pav bhaji , Chinese and sandwich. Quite reasonable rates good food nothing fancy. I'll recommend it .
A Small Restaurant In Gorai Located Close to Maxus Mall. The interiors are decent. Talking about the food i ordered they are as follows:-
1)Veg Patiyala- This was a special Dish recommended by the hotel staff. It is a punjabi gravy which includes papad, cauliflower,green peas,garlic and paneer. The taste of the gravy was good.Rating-(4/5)
2)Tawa Pulav- This too was good in taste and the quantity provided was sufficient.Rating-(4/5)

It's good veg family restaurant in Gorai 2, been here many times, food test is good. This is the only reasonable restaurant in Gorai 2. so you don't have much choice of restaurant
The restaurant made a rapid progress in its quality of food and ambiance. You will get very nice dishes which has a very authentic taste. The presentation of dishes is simple but very much attractive at the same time. Especially the Cheese Pav Bhaji here is very tasty. One will enjoy the food here. Never visited this restaurant being so near to my place. But finally ordered a paneer makhanwala which was a home delivery.. the quantity of the vegetable was superb. Dint expect so much quantity of paneer in it so after opening the box I was extremely happy ..haha...and yes it was too tasty. I would definitely recommend you Status Restaurant

This is a great place if you want to get a quick delivery. I have never seen quicker turnaround time. I always order from here when I am hungry and need something quickly. 20-22 minutes is the maximum time for delivery from them. Amazing consistency !! ย I am a fan :):)

Went here after watching conjuring 2, feeling bad hungry. After walking for a few minutes, spotted this decent rest. Tried their veg koliwada. Delicious as it could get. A red thick semi spicy creamy gravy with a big ball stuffed with mashed potatoes and corn. A must try dish if you are visiting this place. The butter roti was not that good though.
They have indoor as well as outdoor seating. Service there is generous. All in all a good affordable restaurant, which serves moughwatering dishes.

The age old restaurant of Bombay and very iconic. Had been there recently their quality of the food is still the same and the service is quick. Had soup and Punjabi food there. The services is very quick and courteous and very Bombay type feeling which when you visit there you will realise. I would recommend to go there and dine in. A definite worth for your money and taste.

Nice cosy place, don't know if it is the se Status Restaurant which was near Veer Savarkar Garden a few years back or has any relation with the one in Churchgate, though unlikely. Food taste is different, but good, can be improved. AC Dining is comfortable, outside is also. Can be crowded esp. during weekends towards late evening.
I must say it's the best ever typical south Indian restaurant i have ever known.
We rushed here late at night on 25th dec, in search of good food with family, and I was amazed by the taste of food they served, we had paav bhaji, Chinese dish, and naan and sabji. Everything we had was incredibly tasty.
