It's a hidden gem. Great food. The sushi here is just awesome. Also, they have a special dessert called "honey toast with ice-cream" which was also toooo good.
I visited this restaurant Seefah first time. It is located in Mumbai and want to share my review on my experience. Due to circumstances, I ended up dining alone. I used to work in a Michelin 1-star restaurant in Australia for years and like to experience a wide range of cuisines. This time is my seventh business trip to India, and I didn't have high expectations for Asian cuisine in India.
I ordered a sushi platter, Japanese-style ramen, and dumplings. Trying authentic Asian cuisine in a foreign country like India can be quite challenging, but this restaurant certainly demonstrated the potential. I could feel the dedication of the restaurant owner and chefs in authentically representing local flavors from Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, China and Thailand. Moreover, the inclusion of Japanese shiso leaves with the sushi was a pleasant surprise.
Apart from the noodle of ramen, it was overcooked, but it was a truly satisfying meal. I was so pleased with the food and hygiene and service that I even placed a few extra orders for takeaways. Your restaurant provided a fresh experience during my stressful business trip in India. I am immensely grateful and have a 200% intention to revisit.
Amazing food. Esan Grilled Pork is just out of this world. We loved the Soft Shell Crab Salad. The Hainanese Thai Chicken is was great too. Chicken was moist and flavourful. We would love to try out more dishes.
Very nice restaurant. Cozy vibes.
Service was quick and food was amazing. Authentic tastes. Loved the sticky fried rice. The turnip cake was nice as well. Sesame ice cream is a must.
Street parking is available with valet. When we went, the place wasn't crowded. I'd recommend booking in advance anyway .
Went for Lunch, had a reservation - imp that you do that in advance ☺️. Service was good, great recommendations from the server and the food was great, especially loved the sushi and dessert the most.
Considering we were a group of 20pax the restaurant staff were very good to reset up the space to accommodate us .....they helped with suggestions for starters . Every dish had excellent presentation and was quite authentic to taste . Cocktails were superb , crisp ants and all. Thanks to Chef Shannon Lawrence who requested the pineapple rice that was off-menu to be made as my son had enjoyed this in Phuket. Seefah obliged and the complimentary shots at the end made for a perfect end to a wonderful celebratory meal for our family . Thank you SEEFAH for your attentive and kind service by all the staff .
We went there after booking an appointment. Got our seat at the designated time. Ordered crunchy tuna maki roll. It was nice. It’s a cold dish. Miso soup was also nice. We ordered some pork dishes and they were good. It’s both a Thai and Japanese restaurant. The place is small and not too fancy so don’t go with those expectations. They have vegetarian options also. No comments on desserts since we didn’t try them.
Fabulous restaurant serving Japanes and Thai food. Amazing attention to detail. Super fresh ingredients and very attentive service.
The Chefs Seefah and Karan are absolute gems!
I have never been disappointed 😀
Super good food in good portions. Desert was the best. Tried lamb pork and fish bombil all too good.
The foods were superb yummy! We had spent more then 2 hours away at this place. The servers suggestions on the food were great and we get to taste many delicious dishes!
Thanks Seefah and team for the amazing experience.
Ramen enthusiasts will find a delightful experience at this ramen shop. From the moment you step inside, the cozy and inviting atmosphere sets the stage for a satisfying meal. The interior is thoughtfully designed, with traditional Japanese elements that transport you to the streets of Tokyo.
The star of the show, the ramen itself, is truly exceptional. The broth is rich, flavorful, and expertly balanced, showcasing a depth of taste that leaves a lasting impression. Whether you prefer the creamy richness of tonkotsu, the robustness of miso, or the classic umami of shoyu, there are options to cater to every palate. The noodles are cooked to perfection, offering a delightful chewiness that pairs perfectly with the broth.
One of the highlights of this ramen shop is its commitment to using high-quality ingredients. The toppings are fresh and well-prepared, adding layers of texture and flavor to each bowl.
Vegetarian or vegan choices are also available, ensuring that everyone can enjoy a delicious bowl of ramen.
The service provided is prompt and attentive. The staff is knowledgeable about the menu and is happy to provide recommendations or answer any questions you may have. Their friendly demeanor creates a welcoming atmosphere that adds to the overall enjoyment of the dining experience.
Best Point - No reservation was done from my part as i was not knowing but the staff was way to welcoming and adjusted us for an hour
Thank you Seefah
You know it’s a great restaurant when they can make even a humble miso soup taste like heavens! Seefah has quickly become my go-to restaurant for pan-Asian food. The food is always top-notch and services are pretty quick. The flavors are authentic and the portions generous. A must-try is the honey toast with ginger ice cream.
Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant. The service is unmatched. The staff truly cares about your experience. Food is absolutely amazing. Absolutely the best meal we ever had. Superb cocktail menu curated by my Mr. Sunil Prathab. Exceptional and well balanced cocktails, I’ve tasted so far. Tasted some amazing Sushi as well made by chef yunus khan. Highly recommend !
Landed up unexpectedly on a Saturday night. Was absolutely wowed by the food and the attentive service. They were very kid friendly and prepared a dish specially for my kid, plus gave him chopsticks which he thoroughly enjoyed.
The pandan custard was delicious and quite a generous portion.
I highly recommend this place to everyone.
One of the best places if you're craving for authentic Thai and Japanese food. The duo Chef Seefah and Chef Karan are true to their job and serve fresh and excellent quality food. The ambience is very soothing and their Sushi platter is the highlight. The crispy pork belly is one of my favourites and i would rate them 10/10.
A few friends were planning on meeting at Bandra Gymkhana for drinks and heading out for dinner after. We couldn’t think of a restaurant which all of us haven’t been to!
In the morning, I got down to doing some net searching and found “Seefah” at Hill Road in Bandra, serving what their website mentioned as ‘Authentic Thai and Japanese cuisine’.
Being one of my favourite cuisines, we decided to try Thai. Boy, were we surprised! Whatever we ordered was actually fantastic! Their staff were very friendly too.
We’re planning to go and check out their Japanese menu next time around.
Seefah is absolutely one of, if not the very best, Thai restaurants in Bombay.
Their Pad Thai (500++) will transport you straight to the streets of Thailand, an epic smorgasbord of sweet, sour, spicy, and tangy. It’s one of the very best Pad Thai’s I’ve had in a very, very long time, and I would happily make the trek to Seefah just for this alone.
But the Thai food is just one aspect of Seefah. I have sampled their sandwiches, which are equally mind-bendingly brilliant and worth a review on their own. But let’s talk instead about their Japanese fare, dished out by Seefah’s partner in crime Karan Bane. Equally adept and masterful at his craft, he complements Seefah’s Thai grub beautifully, and rounds out the kitchen very nicely. While I did not have any of the (eye-catching) Donburi bowls or Ramen, I have seen enough to know that these too would be worth popping in for.
The Salmon Carpaccio (800++) was delicate and sung the faintest hum of Jalapeño, with the finely sliced salmon luxuriating in a liquid that alluded to the mastery and technique that went into its making. Sushi lovers also have something to celebrate, with satisfyingly hefty rolls on offer packing a solid punch.
The cocktails too, while pricey, justified its billing and gave even more cause for celebration. Whiskey lovers need to look no further than the Smokey Plum (800++), with a Cherry plum liqueur serving as its base. Smokey and swirling with earthiness and just the slightest hint of sweetness, it’s perfect accompaniment to any meal.
Round off your meal with the Honey Toast, served with 2 scoops of of ice cream of your choice (at the time we visited, we were offered black sesame, ginger, coconut, vanilla, and chocolate. We opted for the first two).
The ginger was the standout for me, lightly fiery and standing its ground against the sweetness of the doughy platform it came on. Most would prefer the black sesame, and I would understand that, going so far as to say it should be one of the two flavours you should go for, given the choice.
All in all, this was an adult happy meal that left a smile plastered on my face long after it was over. Highly recommended.
Good food and great service. Had nice cocktails
