This is a really good place which offers good food and alcohol at cheap rates. The service is really fast and the starters here are really great. I had chicken crispy, prawns Schezwan and tandoori Schezwan which all tasted good.
It has a overall chill vibe and a great hangout place to chill with friends after a hectic day at college. Locality is great. Young crowd. Food is cheap and tasty. They have AC and NON-AC seatings with a slight rate difference.
This is a great place for drinks.... They also server great starters... Chicken tikka, seek kebab, crispy chicken, malai tikka
The chicken biryani is also tasty here.. Also it is a student friendly place...
Good place to hangout with friends. This is one of my favorite place. We often go there always. staff members are also friendly and the service which the provide is also good. This place is like a bar type with tasty food. It's just like a normal bar and the rate for alcohol and food is same like ordinary bar. But I never felt like sitting in a bar when I'm at this place. Whenever we come here we always order tandoori dishes and they are really tasty and affordable. This place is quite Pocket friendly. I really enjoy this place visiting again and again
A good place to chill with Friends and family
Cheap drinks, the food served is also delicious
A must go to place for all you Bandra(W) peeps.
If your looking for just a bar with awesome food this is the place to be I have frequented this place since ages. I can actually take out the time to travel one hour to come and have awesome food at this place. Drinks also is not that expensive just the rates any bar would charge. I remember having Kerala style Beef Fry and Roast from this place many years ago on my recent visit had all non beef eaters so couldn't really order it
Yatch is a golden den for all drinkers, both drinks and food is damn cheap. They offer both AC, NON-AC seating with barely any rate difference. Smoking zone is available, in fact you can also smoke in Non-AC.
They offer boiled chana, chakli, chana dal, sev and many such things which many people have as Chakna at home.
Apart from that we ordered Chicken Lollipop, Chicken Tandoori, Chicken chilly, Veg crispy, french fries which all were good.
You will definitely enjoy your time here!!
** It is difficult to get parking outside restaurant So, better not to drive yourselves.
This is our adda. The place to hang out after everyday heavy work at office. Chilled out place offering you almost all the drinks for cheap and thus have a great make over now since old days. Very kind staff, great ambience and awesome food. The best thing is the quick service after you given an order. It has both AC and Non AC tables and thus makes it different and convenient for people to choose. We almost go out every week now and get they continue to serve consistently. And that's wonderful. Cheers.
Good place for cheap alcohol and tasty food. Ambience is lacking but is more than made up for by the value for money (in the non AC section).
Shady Bar. Surprisingly 🍺and breezer are costly but munching are reasonable. The peanut chat was dirt cheap and chilli chicken was okayishly priced. It tasted real good though. Legendary Old Monk was cheap though with barely Rs.50/small peg. Its quite rush in here too in the evening!!
A casual small time drinking and chilling place. It used to be very cramped during my college days but the things have changed with better and spacious seating.
The drinks are of reasonable cost and the food quality is very good. People usually have Schezwan Sauce and Chakli along with their drinks or even otherwise. The Chicken Lolipops are nice and crisp.
A decent place to spend the evenings with your frnds!
It’s pocket friendly bar good food nice service the rates on the current display have changed so consider that and do try tandoori lollipop and prawns Koliwada
This is the best place food cheap booze and good food. For food i tried their chicken crispy and the quantity as well as taste is good. Since they have a big place now it's usually crowded. Highly recommended
YACHT
It's one of renowned bar & restaurant located in bandra serving lip smacking food with cheap booze. It's well known among nearby college goers.
Food: We had Prawns Schezwan & Surmai fry.
Prawns Schezwan was very tasty. Surmai fry could have been better if rawa masala was used to fry. However, it was worth the money spent.
Ambience: Basic, scope for improvement.
From a shady bar to a favorite among college goers to hosting some big shots in and around Bandra, this place has really climbed the pedestal of success over time. As a result of which the prices were increased.
Don’t get us wrong, this place is still far more reasonable and easy on the pockets compared to most places in this location. Irrespective of the rates there is no compromise on the taste and quantity of the food, be it appetizers or mains. We love ordering their chicken lollipops to accompany the drinks.
The other favorites here are the mutton kheema and chicken fried rice. Their seafood dishes are not that great but Chinese and Mughlai are trustworthy. Decent ambience. Not recommended for a family meal. The place can be really crowded on weekends. Service is good.
Yooooooooo
guys that's something very much pocket friendly in a prime location like Bandra..
I am writing this review after visiting this place more than 10 times..
They are serving alcohole in affordable rates, thats why it's become one of the favourites of youngsters. No peg system.
Food is also tasty. I have almost tried every snack item here. WAJRI MASALA is my favourite.
Whenever you wanna hang out with buddies with abandoned quantity of food and beverages within a pocket.. MUST VISIT!!!!😊😋

From a bar that was basically full of people in Wife-Beater gear, to a place that now attracts hipsters and people from all walks of life, Yacht has gotten up to the top wrung thanks to help from places like LBB.
Alcohol pricing here used to be dirt cheap, without the concept of 30 ml and a 60 of old monk for 50, this was an alcoholic's paradise. However due to the unprecedented fame, the same got jacked up.
Coming to the food, these guys make killer prawn dishes. The prawns, even though farm raised are prepared in amazing manners, right from fried to gravy and all the way to tandoori. Just be sure to ask if the prawns are fresh or when were they brought in.
Meats here, apart from chicken, haven't really tried much. My personal favorite though here is the Tandoori Lollipops and the Chilli Chicken. These two are something that you can't ever go wrong with.
Be aware that this is not a place where you have meals but more of a Starters kinda place, where you fill up on knick knacks. Then again, the chicken fried rice really isn't as bad

if u r looking for a regular bar...this one is highly recommended ..awesome food and drinks..good place to hangout with u r friends...friendly staff...good service...wow...ths one is my fav...
Yacht is located at the end of Hill road and very close to the Bandstand stretch. It is known for its good food and is very moderately priced.
Back then they also used to serve Beef dishes especially the Beef Chilly. Not any more though.
We have tried the Cheese Pakoda, Chicken Chilly and Mandeli Fish Fry which was made very crispy just the way it should be. I also like the Cheese Pakoda.
This place is not particularly meant for family dining.
Amazing place for a drink. The ambience is not much to talk about as it is a typical Shetty bar. But one of the only few place that you will spot women entering such establishments. A must visit if you want to experince these kind of bars. The food is good and cheap. The alcohol prices are down right close to MRP and to top that you can smoke inside(except the AC section, Yes they have an AC section with different prices might be like 20-30rs difference). You can visit it alone or with your friends it's always crowded in the evening. Food you should try is chakli schezwan or garlic channa for nibbles, chicken lollypop and paneer crispy for starters and for a meal probably the butter chicken as I haven't tried anything else but I'm pretty sure if you choose anything else it would at least be decent.
Been a yacth regular since 2011. Its been there since my childhood when i would pass by it from school. A lot has changed over the years. Its now just one resteraunt, earlier it was 2. The beef has now disappeared from the menu but that don't hurt much. Its still one of the cheapest watering hole in bandra. I love their chicken finger and egg pakoda, it's a must try. The prawn fried rice is great as well. Come here when your wallet is light Yacth won't disappoint you.
Yacht bar at hill road is an old Bandra bar with basic ambiance and some really tasty bar snacks to go along with your drink. TV screens around to watch sports and a desi bar feel with its ambience.

Vintage place with good food and reasonable booze. Chicken tikka is 5/5..so sure other food should be decent if not the best.
Looking forward to more visits.
Very good place to chill... Its Pocket friendly... Yummy food... Only flaw i found was the sitting space was conjusted... We 5 people somehow managed and sat... They have one table fot for 4 people only... Otherwise good place... Good ambience...
Yachts is a very dear place to their locals and the neighbours too. People of all ages are seen here. Looking for a relaxed and easy on the pocket place! This is it. Food and alcohol both are served at reasonable rates.
Yacht is the cheapest decent bar in Bandra where you can take your female friends along. It wasn't like this, and a recent rennovation has made it a lot more respectable and classy.
The best part about this place is the price of the alcohol. Though renovated, the prices are still dirt cheap and this is a great place if you're planning to get drunk.
It's located right next to St. Andrews Chuch near the beginning of Bandstand. The setting is okay; seats are crammed and ambience is below average. The service is slow, though polite.
Food unfortunately was not as good as before renovation. The food at Jantas is a lot better. Would strongly advise against sea food here. Chicken items are decent.
Want a quick light on your wallet drink.. Yacht is the place. An old fitment at end of Hill Rd. this place has been watering hole for who's who to the fairly unknown elements of the society. Popular among youngsters of Bandra. the renewed and expanded version is bright. The service is quick and the staff is warm. Wednesdays and Fridays see lot of people but 15 mins wait can sort you places. Recommended food - Kebabs, Wajri Fry, Chicken tikka masala and prawns biryani. People are jovial and speak across the table as well. So suit urself for an evening with friends just to be chatty over drinks.
This is safe to say the place most of us bandra boys have long stories to tell.. and we don't know where to start. All I can say is.. food I good booze is good, staff is very good..
One of those legendary places in Mumbai. Yacht is an icon of Hill Road, Bandra if not Bombay.
Just down the road from Kaitlyn's Beer Garden, we found ourselves stumbling down to Yacht post some craft beer (for da feelz).
Yacht has been renovated since quite sometime and doesn't feel like the same old den. It was packed on a Tuesday night at 11pm and even though we wanted to sit in the non AC section outside, we managed to grab the last corner table in the AC section inside.
We ordered the college time classics, London Pilsner strong beer and DSP Black. Accomapanied with Chakli and Schezwan sauce, we just felt at home. Edibleness of the sauce can be brought into question but who cares at Yacht.
Didn't get a chance to eat anything off the menu but planning making a trip again soon just to sample the dishes and have a longer session.
For those prices (Alcohol and food), Yacht is definitely a place to go to cure your mid week blues or pre drink before a party at one of the hundred places in Bandra.
Food: 🤷♂️
Drink: ❤️
Feelz: 👌
Best. Permit. Room. Been going to yacht since it's days of dilapidation. While one risked their life earlier to eat or drink and even sit in the rusted benches, the face-lift has made it very inviting. Sadly also very popular as one doesn't get seating easily anymore. One can see the janata crowd discovering and hogging tables on popular nights. Service is excellent and the food is good too. We sometimes go for the chicken lollipops fish fry and Chana garlic fry.
Hope it remains underground for just a little longer.. Highly don't that though.
Bandra Standard!!
This place has been newly renovated so now it has nice though grammatically challenged Toilets(see pic), in the past this place was quite creepy and not suitable for ladies but with changes is now much better.
Very pocket friendly prices, you can get booze by the quarter here.
For food i have eaten:
Chakli + Schezwan sauce (see pic)
- ok stuff
Chicken 65
- this is made Bangalore style, not a fan
Chicken Crispy
- quantity is good
Chicken Garlic (See pic)
- best thing here
Chicken Lollypops
- more meaty than other places
Chicken Schezwan rice
- quantity is good
Chicken Tikka
- chicken is fresh
Yacht special chicken tikka
- this is nothing special, just tikka with some vegetables
Can't get lost searching for this place it is right on the corner opposite St. Andrews church and Kobe sizzlers.
Decor: i love the neo-noir look they have opted for
Service: prompt
VFM: hell yes
Renovated. The more you drink the less expensive it is. Food is cheap especially the fish items, do try.
Chicken crispy - must try with your alcohol along with chakali and schezwan saaauce. Bliss.
Ohh there are so less cheap booze places in Bandra West, Yacht comes to our rescue. A simple bar and restaurant which serves cheap booze and food. It's looks tiny from the outside, but it's really spread out from inside. There's a AC section and a open-air section. This is a place where a all-girls gang can enjoy booze without the junta staring at them. The crowd is all mixed, Bandra locals, foreigners, teenagers. Overall it's a safe place to go with your girl+guys gang. In beers, they have all indian beers plus bira, they do not stock imported beers. The food is okish, the emphasis is more on the drinks. You will find people ordering the standard food dishes being ordered in a bar, egg bhurjee, chicken crispy, fried rice. The service is quick and satisfactory. If you are looking for a drink with minimal damage to your wallet, this is your place. If you have more moolah, Janata Lunch Home in Pali Naka is anytime better.
Final Verdict : If you want to Drink More Pay Less and now you are on nirvana side of your life where ambience does not matter, this is your place :)
Been going to this place for a decade & it's a must place to go for locals of Bandra for sure! After being renewed & reconstructed after 3 decades this place still has its charm & unique feel which brings back memories of the years Ive been there!!!! D food tastes delicious but I want to try their chicken satey (which is in d menu but they don't make it, y u still have it in d menu ,it's been more than 2 years u guys don't make it den y have it in d menu ) 😀 cheers !!!!
Yes yes yes!! So glad this place got a make over, even though the inside section is new, it still has the old charm that Yacth had.
Remember my old days when we would sit here at 2 am after our shift the Taj hotel, Yacht is what Gokul is to Colaba. Even though it has a new touch up, the menu is somewhat the same. Prices in the AC section have gone up but. To eat here just ask your service staff if the prawn is fresh, then keep ordering the different prawn dishes. I had 5 plates of prawn schezwan meself!!! The chicken aachari kebab and cheese butter Garlic naan is to die for as well.
Glad to see a decent crowd here with bright lights. This is a perfect definition of old wine in a new bottle. Love it!
No quarter bar is complete without this combo - chakli and schezwan , and today was no different. Ended up at Yacht which was long overdue. Interesting place with tables in every possible location. The cigarette smoke was unbearable for me and opted for the air conditioned section. Good food. Easy on the pocket. Prompt service. Besides the beer and chakli, we had Egg Chilly, Bombil Fry and Chicken crispies. Each of it tased authentic and was full of flavour.
Recently renovated, great place to party for college/office going crowd. Centrally located, safe, convenient, affordable no-nonsense place. Going to be more spacious after renovation. "A separate place for family and a fast-food counter coming up" - reveals an insider
Good place for a quick cheap drink before a night out along with some decent food. We ordered the bombil fry and phadhi chicken kebab which were very good and a not so impressive roast chilli chicken and chicken tikka masala.
Goshhh... do hell with the way you define ambiance out here, what matters really is the experience of sitting out here with your confidantes and discussing on all the issues that matter or not. The real shady place that they call it as, is an experience worth a lifetime. The food is accommodating and so is the service. Everything bad that you may find about this place is worth letting off go.
This place is just opposite to St Andrews Church on the Hill Road. Garlic chicken is the best.
When I moved to Bombay, I had heard a lot (A LOT) about Yacht which is located on Hill Road.(Near Howra, the burger joint).
However, I only got to visit it after it got renovated.
If you want to pregame and have munchies, then this is the place you should go to.
Tried their Crispy Chicken, which was pretty good (3.5/5). Overall, it's super affordable and totally value for money!
Went here for the first time. The food was alright, could definitely be better. The food is very well priced.
We ordered:
1. Paneer chilly
2. Mushroom chilly
3. Fried garlic
4. Tandoori mushroom tikka
Ambience: 4/5
Food: 3/5
VFM: 4.5/5
The Scouse Foodie Shanth Swaroop
Good place to chill and catch up with friends opposite the St. Andrews Church in Hill Road Bandra. Food is decent, alcohol is cheap and service can be worked on.
If you want to get drunk without caring about the ambience and munch on non-veg food for cheap, this is the go to place.
Was with my friend at yacht superb place had a beer and some starters lollypop friendly staff the place is cool and interiors too. This place is opp st Andrews church
If someone asks you the definition of "Shady", take them to Yacht. Though due to the virtue of face-lifting renovations you can now choose between Shady and Non Shady Areas. This place has the cheapest bar in Mumbai. People from all age groups come here and if you're finicky about sharing a table with random strangers, don't come here on weekends. Two people can have an entire meal, get drunk at the exact cost for a single stag entry in a mediocre club. Don't miss out on their Chilly Chicken. Rejoice Alcoholics!! Naman Taneja Piyush Borse
Have been visiting this place since my college days, but never got a chance to appreciate it until now.
So let's begin. If you have a tight budget but want to get insanely zonked.. then dude this is heaven for you. It is the most economical option. The food is also great specially the butter chicken and the chicken crispy. It's Heaven for the bewdas.
A steal deal.
A shady, some what homely place with cheap alcohol, a friendly staff, and alright food. Not exactly the place you want to eat at, but a great dive bar for a night out with friends. Not exactly the cleanest of places, but that's the charm of a dive bar, I guess. One of the cheaper places in Bandra of old, not exactly classy and edgy. More of an old timer hangout. It's definitely got a charm of it's own and is good for a drink on the cheap on hill road.
Classic Bandra Bar. Only for serious drinkers and fish lovers. Yacht has been around forever. One of the last places you can still get proper Aunties chakna. Quite possibly the last of the permit rooms
Shanth Swaroop and I were there, revisiting the old memories
Must their their Beef Chilly and Kheema masala with Pao. It's made very well. It is not an ideal restaurant where you'll expect great Ambience but you'll definitely enjoy your time over a drink with your friends and lip smacking food.
The pricing is moderate and won't burn a hole in your pocket. If you don't eat beef you can always try their chicken lever or mutton masala. They serve great omelettes too, the cheese Omlette is my personal favorite.
A definite must try if you're a fan of good food over ambience and crowd.
One of the best place to booze nd the price of alcohol is also quite affordable this the best place to hangout in groups one should really visit this place....
Probably one of the shadiest places in Bandra but also the cheapest! If your low on cash and want a couple of drinks and some good food, here's where you need to head to! Their chinese food is really good and their quantities aren't bad either. Their ambience is crappy, but oh well, you can't get everything. There's tasty food and cheap alcohol at dirt cheap prices, what more can you ask for really? However, I do wish the place was done up a wee bit better.
One of the most top rated places for people who want to drink to the glory and are low on bucks this is a place where they head out.
With not so attractive board this place won't disappoint you at all.
Just a simple sober shady bar where u can just chill with your college buddies or whosoever.
The ambiance is not so good with dim lights , simple wooden chair and tables ,little low on hygeine, a small tv playing some old music or some live screening, but not to worry because once the fuel goes in you tend to just enjoy the environment.
But alas this is Mumbai right from lonely lovers to enthusiastic foreigners you will find everyone over here. You can light up ur cigarettes right inside without being bothered by anyone.
Food: Really good place to munch on with ur booze,
Chicken crispy, chilli and lollies just make a perfect match.
Location : Right opposite St Andrews Church and also a walk away to Salman Khan's house if ur are a bhai fan 😂
Pricing: extremely cheap, totally value for money.
Would visit again.
Where do i begin? Yacht is probably one of the cheapest places for a boozy night hands down! Now one calls a place shady, it's but obvious that is not women-friendly. But Yacht has a mix bag enveloping all possible classes and masses of the lopsided society.
The inviolable trio of Old Monk, Thums Up and Chakli-Schezwan is my to-place order. Also the food is quite decent. Order your usual appetizers like chicken crispy, chicken chili and you are sorted. They also have good mains btw. Oh, and if you dig eggs, the bhurji pav is nirvana material.
Incredibly cheap alcohol, decent enough food and a very favorable location makes Yacht a good choice to pre-drink, or drink the night away.
Go figure!
Undoubtedly the favourite and the first place i can think of when there's a lethal need to get drunk and your pocket's feather light.
Beer for around 180-200 rs a bottle is a vood steal with beef chilli or chicken lollies to go with.
Place might come across as a bit shady , but you'll forget all about that after a few drinks.
Luckily, the crowd isnt as shady but young broke college students , jobless poets , dropout startup enthusiasts, some less than mediocre band members and plain loud drunkards. Happy binge.
This place has been my weekend getaway from past couple of weeks not only because of the price but also the place and the service. Booze is dirt cheap over here that too in a place like Bandra. Decent food, beer and stuff the so called Chakna makes me come back to this place again and again. Low on Money, this is the place to be
Cheers!
Cheapest place for boozing in the entire town i feel! Their food is great as well, also the ambiance is decent! I love their Chinese as well as north Indian dishes! If you're low on cash, this is the place for you!
Ambiance- 3/5
Food-4.5/5
Service - 3/5
Value for money: 5/5
Being a proud bandra residence this is the only local bar in whole of bandra i frequently visit and love it coming here from past 2 years and no complaints yes many of my rich friends hate this bar cause its a old and cheap looking place but its serves much better food the service is very fast and the chicken crispy is way better of with the proper quantity with of course affordable prices in the end may it be small and local but way to better then the places where a beer is offered way to high with slow service and restricted stag entries...sat sun much rush as in most places but still service is quick
One of the most favourite places for drinking and catching up with friends in Bandra over the weekend. Your go to place when all other restaurants in Bandra are full!
This place one of a kind. It might look extremely shady and a place where you wouldn't want to take your female friends, but alas this is Mumbai. In any other city such kind of a setup wouldn't be possible. Really cheap booze and good staters and awesome "chakhna". It's a really good place to pregame. Very unique and a must.

There's so much sentimental value attached to this one!
This has been my go to place for drinks ever since I've started drinking. The place is very peaceful and so is the bandstand vicinity around. The prices have gone up a bit but that still changes nothing. The food isn't that great here but is quite edible.
The only problem with the place is you've to show up very early to book yourself a place, because there's no prior booking system here.
I love the place and so will you.
Now this is the place all college students would prefer to go ..The place serves you alcoholic drinks at very low price [it also has a place to SM*K*and chakna :D] most local n intl brands available (not very Hifi ones) ones compared to any other restaurant. With a equally low priced, tasty food items with sizeable quantity ....has a good spread of dishes on the menu.... But downside being its ambience is of a local bar and not for everyone to be taken..thou the crowd is upscale Bandra ppl and college students...And even has a ac room
prices have relatively gone up in the sense that they used to be well below 100 and now they are mostly around 100-110, at least for Chinese chicken dishes, but the quantity makes them still GVF and taste is also not bad. The location surely could use a little clean up :)
Last night we were rounding up a good Saturday night out at Bandra and (as is usually the case with buddies) decided to continue the party at someone’s place.
In these situations, the 2 places which come to mind for take-out are Janta’s and Yacht. And the consensus usually swings this way; when more food needed then head to Janta’s.. When more alcohol needed then head to Yacht.
That being said, this place is no slouch when it comes to food. Prior to the Beef files, they made arguably one of the best Kheemas here. Even though the meat has gone a little chewy, the flavors are all there.
Coming to the ‘starters’ that go with the alcohol, the Chicken Lollipops are the safest bet. Some generous extra batter (which I don’t mind) is a tribute to the Chinese street food of the 90s. As for the other stuff, Chicken Chilly is black and Chicken Schezuan is red. Apart from that, nothing remotely connects it to Chinese cuisine.
The food that I really love here is the one with the slight Malabari twist. The Chicken Pulao is one of my favorite rice dishes in a bar, like a South Indian version of Chicken Fried Rice. Surprisingly low oil content, well seasoned rice (predominantly garam masala base) and decent portion of shredded chicken.
The other dish that I love and is ‘off the menu’ is the “Plain fried chicken” which (according to me) kicks the butt of any MNC based fried chicken. It uses a traditional garam masala base and fries the chicken predominantly on one side, leaving the meat well cooked and yet tender.
If you are drinking in, then they offer a variety of ‘Chakna’ like chips, chakli, moong daal for about 10-20 bucks a packet. They also have boiled grams and masala papads to go with the booze.
Coming to the real star of the place, the alcohol, nothing beats the price here. Arguably the cheapest spot in Bandra to catch a drink. However, ambience.. What’s that?
Summarized…
When you’re looking for arguably the cheapest place to catch a chilled beer in Bandra, head to Yacht.
When you’re catching up with buddies that won’t judge you for picking a place like this, head to Yacht.
When you’re the kind who doesn’t mind ‘chakna’ with drinks instead of ‘starters’, head to Yacht.
When you want great service, clean tables, big screen television on match days, decent crowds, not being brushed by a broom as the guys sweeps the floor, not having the fan switched off randomly, head to any other place but Yacht.
Simple and straight, cheap food and cheaper booze .. Average price for a large bottle of beer is 200.. Tax? What’s that?
No frills boozer
Pros:
- It's cheap, super cheap, everything on the menu is Rs100 or less.
- It's not pretentious, just a simple bar where people just go to enjoy cheap beer and food.
- The food is good for the price
Cons:
- Decor is basic and may be a little too rough around the edges for some people.
Best place... Reasonable pricing on alcohol. Been a favourite spot during my college days.
Best part is Salman house is within 5 mins distance.
If I am ever asked for a find in Bombay, this place would take one of the top slots, the veritable cheap watering hole that gives a glimpse into the life of this city, the place where you can drink away to glory with a raucous yet quality crowd and a lack of hygiene that will transport you to your college days.
Frankly speaking, I never could believe such a place existed in Bombay. Right next to St. Andrew's Church, this is where the college students from the area head to. Simple benches and tables, a little cramped - but the crowd is really surprising here. You will find ladies and foreigners in this place, the two sections of the crowd I always thought preferred places which has better ambiance than Yacht. But they flock here too, maybe somewhere, somehow, the place has never failed them, one of the factors being the cheap booze perhaps. I, for one, was really surprised the first time I was here. It's been four times since then, cramped Old Monk binging.
The food here is really good though. I mean I don't expect high class food, but what the hapless kitchen shells out is worth the praise. The Chicken Lollipops are average. The Chicken Fried Rice is perfect with some alcohol. And the Chili Chicken and Chicken Manchurian Dry are good two. They serve Cheese Cubes with drinks, and I got to say it is a great combo! :D However, the cake goes to their Beef Chili, which is known in the local circles of the city. It is dry, oily and full of taste, made in the South Indian style. Loved it a lot.
This is not really a place you would or could go with anyone. You only go here with the best of friends and the hardest of drinkers! :P Reminds me of the days gone by every time, and that is part reason, I will maybe keep coming back, and the beef.
Extra half point just for existing.
The place defines highest levels of dingy, untidy and shady and one would not dare enter after first look at it. But when you wanna have a drink at cheapest rates in Bandra (Mumbai?) you gotta compromise ambience and other things. This place is as basic as a bar can be. They have Tables, chakhna, spicy Chinese and booze...that's all. Don't expect the tables to be clean, chairs to be comfortable or glasses to be perfectly transparent...they are not. The place is meant for one and one thing only...DRINKING. The crowd consist of mostly college students. Some of the dishes they serve are not half bad. Especially the chicken lollypop, chicken chilly and Manchurian. You may try other stuff from the menu if you are feeling lucky. Smoking is allowed but generally haven't seen many people smoking at the table, they usually step out. Vicinity to Bandstand allows a nice stroll along the sea after drinks. Overall a perfect place to hang out with only those friends who aren't fussy about ambience and agree that cheap booze is always a good idea.
I found this place ...the cheapest in Mumbai....fully pocket friendly.. when you want chilled beer....then head to yacht...you can't find the place like it in all over bandra. The place is always full of crowd .....
Cheap booze cheap food. What more can a broke student ask for?
Chicken crispy and fish fingers is what we have each time we go there without fail.
Food is good compared to what you're paying for, like for low prices you wouldn't expect much but these guys do deliver good food.
Well there are days when you are low and days whence you are super happy and the intonation of your inner sense forgets all you are usually finicky of. This place is one such kind, stay away people with excessive issues with hygiene and for a day rejoice loudly(usually termed as insane) with long lost friends. They have these benches and rustic looking waiters who are swift. Allowed us to hold on to a table for our late-coming friends...!!
Decent food and beverage. Average 300-450pp for a group of 4-5 gangsters(;)
If you wanna drink a lot and spend less this is the best place like seriously you don't have to worry bout the bill it'll be low compared to other places. Their biryani is amazing..and chicken lollipop too..its a good place
Although this place looks like a third grade local bar from outside , the crowd was surprisingly awesome and so was the food with really cheap booze .
Even the food is cheap with a pretty decent taste.
Overall awesome place with the cheapest booze in bandra. Thumbs up 😊👍👍
Every bandra bugger would have been here at least once. Cheap booze, cheap food. May look a little shady, but it's really not. They have an AC section inside, if you've not been here before. The chicken crispy is their specialty.
This place is very homely, have been going here for a long time, cheap booze, good food, and a decent crowd. Very safe for girls even though it has a shady bar feel. The waiters are awesome and so is Anna. Best place to have a drink and chill instead of going to expensive clubs!
This bar provides an inviting setting to unwind and socialize with friends. Here, you'll be treated to a delectable array of appetizers and affordably priced alcoholic beverages. A must-try starter is Chicken Lollipop and Chicken crispy. You will get to see fancy crowd which is awesome! The exceptional service further enhances your visit. It's the ultimate destination for savoring top-notch cuisine and pocket-friendly drinks. Whether you're looking to extend your night after leaving the pub or want to kick off your evening with pre-drinks at the bar before hitting the club, this venue offers a versatile and enjoyable atmosphere.
A very economic place. Don't go on what it looks from outside because from inside it's nothing but a small bar. The place is good and drinks are reasonable. They have a smoking zone and a non smoking zone. No parking available
Mostly frequent visitors, young crowd. Ac and non both available. Food is good(prawns chilly is go to), alcohol rate is very affordable. If you are not going for a high ambience feel but rather a typical bar and restaurant feel go for it. *Affordable *Good Service *Good food.
Very nice place Food Good 👍.. best part.. all drink 🍻 on MRP.
An evening at YACHT Resto Bar in Bandra proved to be a delightful experience that tantalized the taste buds and charmed with its ambiance. The sleek, nautical-themed décor immediately sets the mood for a relaxing yet vibrant evening.
We started our culinary journey with their recommended Pepper Tandoori Crispy Chicken, and it was a flavorful revelation. The succulent chicken, perfectly marinated and infused with peppery goodness, paired exceptionally well with the crispiness of the dish. It was an explosion of flavors that set the tone for the rest of our evening.
The drinks menu was as impressive as the ambiance. The mixologists here are artisans; each cocktail was a carefully crafted masterpiece. From classic concoctions to inventive blends, each sip was an adventure in itself.
What truly elevated the experience was the impeccable service and the panoramic view that the bar offered. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable, guiding us through the menu with expertise and a friendly demeanor.
The lively atmosphere and the subtle beats of music in the background added to the overall charm. It's a place that seamlessly combines a chic ambiance with delectable food and top-notch drinks, creating an evening that lingers in memory.
Whether it's for a casual hangout with friends or a special evening, YACHT Resto Bar in Bandra is a gem worth revisiting. It's a haven where good food, great drinks, and a fantastic atmosphere converge to create an unforgettable experience.
A cozy place serving alcohol and food. The crowd is good. It's on the hill road towards band stand. Always crowded to make sure you have some time in hand. The staff is good. Starters are to die for.
One of the ANCIENT GOLDS of Bandra! It’s typically a pocket friendly bar with excellent food and cheap alcohol. From chinese delicacies to tandoor items, from starters to biryani every item on the menu is worth a try.

•Chakli and green chutney or schezwan chutney
•Paneer Tikka Angara
•Veg Crispy
•Garlic Cheese Naan
•Potato Chilly
•Cheese Cherry Pineapple
Janta is for kids, legends go to Yatch, if you know you know!
A historical and amazing bar to go at any time of the day. Place looks normal, nothing like fancy bars but the crowd which comes is awesome. It is more of a unique experience than just a restaurant. The tasteful cheap starters, talk and laughter of people, clink of drink glasses and bottles, Best place to enjoy good food and cheap booze even after the pubs have closed down! The service is also really awesome. It is primarily a place to have a good time with friends. Cheapest booze in town, good for predrink! Always carry cash with you. Must visit if you wanna lift your SPIRITS!
One of those places that brings all kinds of people under one roof. Inclusive shetty bar. Safe , noisy and yet got a lot of character... brilliantly located with loads of legacy, only if it could focus a little more on hygiene in its kitchen... it would be a perfect place to hang out.
I visited after a decade. They hv grown large n the food we had was amazing n fits ur pocket any time. Rajesh was amazing n I loved the way he took care of me n Belinda. I am planning to visit them next week 🙂 The staff are also very friendly ❤️❤️❤️
Yesterday, I visited Yacht which has been told to me that it’s one of the best. Food was good and the place is reasonable. Can chill with your gangl
Food drinks are Value for money here,
But do expect a long queue if going on a weekend, though that's worth it.
Cozy little place with nice chilled inside and great prompt service. Food was good and very reasonably priced
