Came here on the recommendation of a friend. The food is lipsmacking. One of the best places I have come to in a while. It is a small place with great ambience. The service is very quick. Ordered for a murgh dakhni tikka and chicken in chilly oyester sauce. The chicken was perfectly done. Butter chicken and kulcha was also great. Highly recommended.
Was invited to this restaurant along with my mom and my wife, I was surprised when I tasted momos, on my first bite the taste was divine and the moms were literally melting in my mouth. Overall food starters, main course was awesome and had a nice time reading gabbar’s dialogue written on walls. Must visit restaurant.

A theme based restaurant with gabbar's dialogue and wall hanging all over the restaurant. The word's yummy! I was extremely encouraged by the positive reviews on Zomato to try out this place and wasn't disappointed at all. We stuck to reviewed items for dinner. We ordered tangdi kulfi kabab as starters and fresh lime soda. The soda was a bit flat but the kabab was sooooo yum that the soda is forgotten. We then went for Patiala chicken and garlic nan, tandoori roti and butter kulcha. Were superbly happy! The nans and rotis were crispy yet sumptuous and so was the chicken. The place is cozy...the owners are around and very polite and helpful. The whole experience was very happy and we are definitely coming here again with a will to try more!
Tagdi kulfi kebab- if you are a cheese lover you just cant miss it!!! It's a cheese lovers dream come true.. tender juicy drumsticks wrapped and soaked in cheese n grilled to perfection.

Gabbar's Grill & Fry earlier located at Oshiwara has now moved to Santacruz.
Compared to the earlier outlet the current one is more spacious and looks more elegant and has 2 sections. The next thing to look up is the various wall hangings related to Gabbar which are quite amusing. The thing which impressed me the most was the spinning wheel on the wall which has various offers printed on it and an individual can spin the wheel and claim the offer for their table, sounds interesting right.
Now the taste and the quantity is still the same and the menu is pretty much the same where they serve North Indian & seafood delicacies, biryani's, various kebabs and some awesome rolls.
What I had,
Prawns Koliwada and Tandoori Chicken Cheese Momos were the best appetizers and me being a hardcore nonveg lover, I was more than delighted with the quantity served.
Tangdi Kulfi Kebab is a must try and it's not something you will ever regret. Bbq chicken drumsticks marinated with herb & spices and dripping with cheese is something you will love.
In mains, I had a decent portion of Fish Malwani masala with a basket of cheese loaded naan. The portion sufficed two people. The gravy was on point with a big chunk of rawas fish in it and the gravy was medium spicy.
The pricing was pocket-friendly compared to the quantity and quality of the food.
An underrated place for sure, a big thumbs up to the management.

Had an amazing experience watching India Pakistan match with friends and family. The match was more fun due to food here. The chow chow potato. Pander chilly were awesome to start with. The burnt chilli garlic rice with veggies in oyster sauce were lovely too. Phantom ciggues stole the show
Happen to visit this place on a weekday. Tried the Mozzarella cheese sticks and stuffed mushroom for starters. Had the veg paneer butter garlic masala rice for the main course. The food here is really very good.
Excellent food warm and friendly staff a must try place. Specially try the panner cheese seekh kabab and stuffed cheese mushrooms. A special mention about Narendra for being so courteous and accommodating our senior citizens special requests
This was a first visit to the Gabbar's. First impression were good - Sholay's GABBAR like theme and a warm welcome. The menu was mostly standard Indian restaurant fare, but it was very tasty and well presented. Service was attentive without being intrusive.

Four of us had been here, found the table since the place is newly opened. Ambience is cool, must mention about hand painting of gabbar characters on the wall, awesome.

Decided to visit this revamped place after having a pretty good experience at their old Oshiwara outlet. Was pretty impressed by their interiors which resemble with their name and intriguing quotes which make the place feel more lively with vibrant vibe.
Although the outlet is pretty average in size but has seperate dining sections.

The outlet is decorated with various dialogues of gabbar from sholay movie.

This place was on my regularly visited list list since it was in Oshiwara. Now that they have shifted to Santacruz, it is easier for me to reach here. Quite a cozy place, the interiors are based on Gabbar Singh from movie Sholay. The food here is lip smacking, it is five star food in a restaurant set up . We ordered a lot of food and most of it was really delicious and well made.

The staff too is very friendly and owner make you feel very comfortable.. When i asked the owners if i can conduct my kitty at their prices thry obliged me with great warmth. Been to Gabbars many times both for lunch and dinner. Brings back memories of the movie Sholay.. from the ambience to the menu and all the way to when the bill arrives. To top it the food is amazing.. the stuffed mushrooms, kulfi kebabs, garlic nan and mutton gravy are a must try!! I love the taste of every dish here. The restaurant owners are friendly and always willing to recommend and also share titbits about the recipe... I wouldn't miss eating here it were you :)

Happened to try this really bautiful themed based restaurant yesterday. To start with the place- just perfect to relive Sholay... The staff is very courteous and goesbout of the way to help.. Food is outstanding - being a non-vegeterian , i loved the veg food too.. Menu is so exhaustive..we ordered for tawa ginger prawns, tangadi kulfi, tandoori momos (abs unique dish) stuffed cheese mushrooms and chilly garlic noodles and loved every dish ...will take min 10 visits to try the entire menu however looking forward too.. Very well priced with good quantity.. Jst does not pinch ur pocket at all.. Great place.. Dil khush kar dita.

First of all, great ambience great lighting gives the Sholay look. Soft music gives the pleasant environment. The walls are painted with characters of Sholay and with dialogues. The staff is customer friendly very polite in nature so humble and generous. This is kind a hidden gem in SantaCruz West, with lots of varieties of food (especially in non veg, so much of variety is there).

The food was really good on both presentation and taste parameters. It was smokin hot and mouth watering 🤤. I really loved it ♥️

First of all, great ambience. Sets the mood for the absolutely amazing ride of flavours you are about to come across.
The first dish, Dakhni Chicken Kebab had one of the most tender chicken kebabs I had ever eaten. Great flavours with a hint of malai. We could have just had kebabs for the rest of the night. It was that good.
Then came the quintessential Butter Chicken, which can make or break your opinion about a place. It didn't disappoint. Touched the soul with mild makhani goodness. And not too sweet if you are worried. Closest to the perfect butter chicken.
Went for Chicken Bhukhara as we were craving a spicy curry after the mild butter chicken. Again, really tasty. Lovely chicken tikkas in the gravy instead of the shredded ones you get at some places.
Paneer Bhuna roll also tasted good.

The place is located in Mani dosa lane and its like a hidden Gem. The food here is a delight...not your avaerage indian food but a very good twist without loosing taste. The Tangdi Kulfi Kabab is a delight in itself and the tawa ginger prawns are yummmmm.

The place is newly opened. Six of us had been to the restaurant yesterday, we got our place immediately and the Ambience is quite different. It has Gabbar Toons all over the place, the place is appropriately lit.
For starters we had Kulfi Kebab, Lapta jhapta kebab n Veg Tandoori Momo's. Each of the starters where full of flavours and rightly cooked. Kulfi Kebab is a must for non veg lovers. The quantity also was quite good.
For mains we had Gabbar ki Desi handi and Veg Maharaja with Laccha Paratha n Garlic Naan. The quantity of the mains was quite impressive n so was the taste.
All in all it was a great experience that we would want to repeat.
For the price paid, the quantity could be more. Or a cut in prices would be cool. Great taste, however! Full marks for taste!
so....about the place....nyc filmy atmosphere with a smartly designed menu....we had tangri kulfi kebab which is very innovative dish and with a long lasting cheesy taste and a must eat @ Gabbar's.......for the main course we had ordered butter chicken which here comes with a very pleasant twist by not being sweet but was very rich in taste and flavours.

The food was really good. It felt like home made food with less oil. I love the way the menu is prepared.
The only downside is that the delivery was not too impressive. I had spelled out my colony name but still it was misspelled and that's why it took them a very long time to deliver the food. So make sure you get the address correct.
Guys Oshiwara is missing u already. You guys made me travel from Andheri to Santa Cruz, and I happily did it and as usual I was not disappointed. we had Paneer Tikka, Mozzarella cheese sticks and finally Tandoori grilled momos ( highly recommend)

A hidden gem here in Oshiwara serves you some piquant and tangy food which will surely touch your taste buds. This place serves you with wide range of starters and main course which are really delicious.
The ambience here is great with number of banners relating the movie with the food, the staff here is very polite and helps you connect with their cuisine. Although the place is quite small and can accommodate about 10-12 of them at a time.
We tried a wide range of starters,
🍗 Prawns Koliwada - Marinated prawns roasted to perfection served along with cabbage and tomato tastes best.
🍗Fish Koliwada. - A absolutely great addition consisting of fried fish served with green chutney.
🍗Tawa fish - A pretty good fish starter made out of marinated fish of long pieces served with chutney.
🍗Lapta-zhapta chicken - Served in typical barbeque style this chicken starter rolled in green chutney is a must try here.
🍗 Tandoori chicken - A typical Tandoori chicken starter roasted to perfection served with green chutney.
🍗 Chicken pepper blaster - Heaven for those who love spicy food, Chicken roasted in hot pepper served with red chutney.

This place serves Mughlai food. Chicken banjara, chicken latpata, and chicken sholay kebabs are served in a very elegant manner but the taste is ok. In main course, we had ordered chicken junglee which was not so good in taste and chicken bukhara which was comparatively tasty. We ended the feast ordering butter chicken rice which was great. The hygiene of the place is good. Hospitality is good.
Interesting place to have slightly different versions of North Indian cuisine. Added bonus: The posters on the wall will keep you entertained till the food arrives!! Phantom sweet to add to the Gabbar legacy!!
So for 5 days I went on a little spree of ordering Chicken Rolls and ordered from a different place everyday.
They say "You save the best for last" and that's what I truly ended up doing.
Gabbar's Grill & Fry, I bow down to how moist, succulent and flavoursome the tikkas were. Absolute melt in the mouth stuff... And I'm glad I ordered two.
Keep up the brilliant stuff guys... You've got a new regular customer for life! ;)

We visited Gabbar's Grill and Fry in Oshiwara, Mumbai and we were stunned. For the small size of the place, the food is a real mind blower. The place as of now only has a non Air conditioned section and is pretty noisy. But we soon forgot these shortfalls when our noses were treated to mouth watering aromas.
Being honest we did not expect such finesse in their food. The flavours were bang on and the portion sizes are good. The chef is certainly very talented. We tried quite a few dishes and liked most of them specially the Paneer Tandoori Tikka, Lapta Jhapta Kebab and the Chicken Patiala. We also ordered the mozerella sticks but they were a big miss and so we have kept them off our review.
However if you do visit them you MUST call for The Cheese stuffed Mushrooms, and the Tangdi Kulfi Kebab. They were a foodies delight.
Overall we definitely would be visiting back.

Everyone out here loves Sholay , and the badass character of GABBAR⭐ . The name GABBAR ⭐ came up because the owners wanted it to be a theme based restaurant , from a strong personality. Moreover the food out here revolves around the name GABBAR ⭐
This fun-size restaurant is located opposite mega mall in Oshiwara and is very easy to locate 😊
The staff out here and the owner are very welcoming.
The owner make sures all the dishes come one after the other so that the customers need not wait and the food is served hot .
The seating out here is limited can accommodate 18-20 people , the ambience and decor is very good , there are comic photo frames all around the place 😊

It was A regular chicken manchow soup served with dry noodles consisting of white chicken and regular manchow soup ingredients 😋
Stuffed tangdi kebabs 🍗
The name it' self gives away a self explanation 🏃, roasted chicken leg pieces to perfection stuffed with chicken kheema making it more delicious 🤗
Tangdi kulfi kebabs 🍡
This starter was foil wrapped which consisted of roasted chicken leg pieces submerged in Cream and cheese properly marinated in their in-house masala , giving away an exclusive dish for cheese lovers (highly recommended 💯)
Fish Koliwada 💯 🔥🐟
Fish deep fried in Koli style giving away the red colour served with green chutney making it an vibrant combination , would recommend this dish along with some beer 😁
Stuffed mushrooms🍄
Not a big fan of mushrooms but after trying out these , I had second thoughts mushrooms stuffed with a mixture of filling which made the dish something different and grated with cheese on the top served Along with green chutney 🔆
Gabbar ki desi hundi🍵🔥
This name itself is a bit fiery , served in a white Bowl loaded with chicken and appropriate gravy giving away exciting aroma 🔥(preferred with naan , kulchas)
Garlic naan one of its kind consisted of small garlic pieces grated on the top Along with butter making it heavy and amazing 💯
Kulchas were perfectly done and marinated with butter 🤗
Laacha Parathas were also something you should check out for sure
Ice tea and regular lemon juice were something you should also try inorder to treat your self after this heavy session on food Bonanza 😵
Altogether the experience was something I would cherish and would love to visit again 😁

Yet again a delicious visit to one of my favourite place 'Gabbar' ... One can hardly keep their temptations away after going through their meaty menu... Indulgence in every Style of Dish is a must... I would be wrong if I put one name up here as my favourite, as everything is tummylicious... Must visit with Your family and friends. Can't wait to dig in next time at Gabbar's ... Keep it up !!!
Love The Food Here... Must try the mustani mushrooms... And the mozzarella cheese sticks.... Tangdi Kulfi Kabab... A Must TRY... I also like the lassi and chaas here.... Also the boondi jaljira is worth a try.... The Gabbar's special veg is with two gravies... fantastic taste

As per the name says, all there ambiance is full filled with diffrent kinds of animated pictures of legendary film named as shole... they have displayed everything in very funny and smart way which makes there small outlet distinct from others...It is also very pocket friendly so
There service is fast and prompt... They serve your grilled items directly from the tandoor... They have very customer friendly staff they are very respectful and polite... They suggest there best items from there menu as per your requirement... They also know there audience to suggest and help them...
