I love this place, not only because its close to my work but also because they provide best quality food at a reasonable price. Located in prime business hub, this place is giving tough competition to other restaurants nearby, specially Dwarka! Food is soo overpriced there!. Coming to the food at Udipi, its delicious, from Idli's to to lunch and main course everything is good.
Was passing by the restaurant during lunch hour and got curious about their lunch thali. The tables are on sharing basis during peak hours. I called in for a lunch thali and was happy to see it. They have option of Roti, Chapati and Puris. I chose Puris and the meal was super exciting. 2 dry sabzis- Aloo, Baingan masala. 2 gravy sabzis- Bhindi and white vataana. Dal, rice, curd, pickle and sago payassam. The service was great and the meal was way too pocket-friendly. A much recommended restaurant!
This has been my go to place for lunch - try the paneer chatpat. Its yummy. The variety of item is unbelievable. Cheap and clean and efficient.

So I ordered drier idli and Schezwan noodles. The quantity of noodles is more than enough for two people. It tasted good with perfect combination of spices. The fried idli however was not exvtly what I supposed it to be. It was similar to potato wedges you get at MCD. The idli was literally fried in oil like french fries.
The taste of food overall was 3.5/5

Wonderful south Indian food. Decent ambience with cleanliness. Our usual order includes hyderbadi biryani and dum aloo Punjabi. Staff is friendly.
Amazing food. Dosas were awesome. The place is a cozy restaurant with typical South Indian based food. Kudos to the team of new udupi.. wonderful job. Only issue was that the AC section was on the first floor and the ceiling literally was so low that we had to bend our body to cramp into the seats. Beside that everything else was great.
Fav south Indian stop. Try Ulundu Dosa and Patrade on Thursday, Yum dishes to have. And Onion Rawa Masala Dosa, the best thing to have on regular basis.
Situated in Fort just near to Croma Store. This is a really good restaurant when it comes for Delivery service. I bet till now none of the restaurants have been able to match there timings. Just a call n within few minutes your food gets delivered. And not to worry on the quality you get the same taste. Although our building is near but still within the same vicinity we have others restaurants also but there services is really awesome as against others.
Coming to food we have had there Dal Kichdi, pack bhaji and lunch Thali. All really good quality n worth the price.

I've been to this place just a few days back as it's nearby to the place where I'm interning for quick lunch.
The place in the heart of Bombay and the ambience is as usual as its in authentic South Indian joints - none. Basic table and bench which is shared. I luckily got the whole table to me as if wasn't that crowded.
I ordered the special lunch. There's an option whether you'd want 3 chapatis or 5 small puris. I opted for puris.
It had yellow dal, aloo mattar, gobi aloo, sambhar, puris, pineapple sheera, curd, raita, pulav, gulab jamun and papad. The lunch is filling and tasty. Although, dishes like paneer or some rich dal wasn't served, it's still tasted superb. I overate.
The servers are superb. Mine bought pulav right when I needed without even asking. He even made sure every basic inconvenience was resolved. Like the papad was on the same thali and had no proper place to keep it and so was the case was puris. It could he managed somehow but he own his own accord bought a smaller plate for that. Things like that make me happy.
Can't rate it lesser than this. 4/5.

Best place for quick bite when you are in hurry. Lots of variety of Indian street food and North and South Indian cuisines. From chat to Pav bhaaji, Missal Pav, dosa to naan and shahi paneer. Β Good options for desert and soft drinks. Service is good, place is quite hygenic and pricing is also reasonable.
Regular lunch place, as this is in vicinity of a lot of offices, it is packed during lunch hours. Very quick service - whether it is delivery or dine in. The food is average, I love the onion uttapam though! We generally order pav bhaji, uttapam, dosas, idli and ofcourse the lemon ginger drink- it's awesome!
Had been here for lunch while visiting fort office..Ordered a rava sada dosa, onion rava sada and 2 idli vada sambhar.. Taste was good.. Chutney was really delicious..
This place is known for its thalis. So many options of vegetables dal puris rice sweet. Too filling thalis that too at an affordable price. Lunch time the place is always packed. You have normal punjabi dishes as well which are equally tasty.
It's nearby office. Great place to eat out. All food tastes good. Also staff is polite. Quick service. A/C dine is also. Would be favourite one

New Udipi Resaturant in the Fort area is one of the best places for pure vegetarian eaters. It has a nice long menu list at affordable price. The ambience goes on the lower side especially the 1st floor where you definitely have to bend and walk it gives you feel that you are infact in Mumbai!! :P
So, we were 6 people and we ordered 2 North indian thalis and 4 South indian. They were neatly served and the staff was quite courteous including the manager. The best part is the affordable price for which the items tasted better than any average meal.

In a quest for the range of Udipi restaurants across Mumbai city, I stumbled upon this one at lunch. Three of us got in slightly post noon and could find place easily as we seemed to have gotten in after the lunchtime crowd. The restaurant is very small (space is at a premium at Fort) and found place on a cramped table. They have a very long menu probably to cater to the varied tastes of the office goers in the vicinity who are most likely to throng this restaurant during weekdays.
We settled for the special thali which was priced at Rs.80 per meal. The servings of this thali were sumptuous and all three of us could not do full justice to the food served. The food was typical Udipi restaurant type starting with chapathis and rice being served subsequently. Two sweet dishes were served too adding to the heavy meal. We found the food to be reasonably good and above average. Service too was prompt and quick.
This is one more restaurant (among a few though) at Mumbai sporting the name Udipi. It seems to have been in business for long going by the interiors and its overall appearance.

For people working in Fort, New Udipi is a great place to order their lunches and breakfasts from. the service is prompt, efficient and the food is equally good. The masala dosa is a favorite of mine and i also like the dal khichdi. we also order chat sometimes which is pretty decent. the chutney and sambhar is also fantastic.
I feel the price and quantity is very reasonable. Service is good. Cleanliness up for the mark. We had 4 rotis, aloo palak and a sada dosa in 183 rupees. What more does one want. The sambar here is very fantastic

I have been eating here since my childhood, and it serves one of the most yummy idlis and dosas i have eaten, their sambar is not sweet and the dry coconut chutney is also yummy.
