The place is located in the heart of Khar. Their ambiance gives a pleasing Oriental Feel. IThe Silican Cottage Cheese Crostini was a dish worth trying be it the grilled cottage cheese or the creamy paprika sauce. I also tried the 3 types of Hummus which tasted amazing. The risotto was absolulely creamy just how I like it.
Amazing ambience ...very cozy place for wine lovers ...sangrais are amazing and the sangria pitchers are value for money and potent...the staff is very courteous and especially the manager. This review was long pending ...but this place deserves the review ...and the wine lovers need to try this place
Went to this place on a Wed especially, as I came to know that there's live singing with guitar playing here on Wednesdays. The guy who sings and plays here is just amazing, and my 4.5 rating for this place is mainly for his singing. Food was pretty good too, loved the wine collection as well. But I'd go there again for the live singing!
Well, this place has been extremely frequented by me since the past 3 months and I must say that this cute little place does leave behind quite a stay on your mind.
They only serve Wine but serve some good quality and variety of wine so there is not shortage in the palate.
The ambiance is warm, cozy and comforting.
They have this amazing guy who plays the guitar every Wednesday, takes in requests without any fuss and plays the music from his heart.
There cant be a better combination to this!
However, one thing they should improve on, is their Food! I know, coupling wine with this kind of food they serve, goes best but some less priced munchies wont do any harm!?
They serve wine by the glass / bottle and is very modestly priced too!
All in all, a place to go to for some nice music, wine & a good evening on the overall.
They have valet parking, so no issues of struggling to find parking on the busy narrow road.
Good Luck guys!

This place is situated in a tiny space, next to the lane near Citywalk, that goes towards Pali Hill, towards your left.
A haven for people who'd love a mixed European cuisine, during the same meal and prefer sipping wine on the side.
A perfect place for a date! A little steep, but apt for its quality and sheen. If you're looking for a budget meal, skip this one.
The ambience was subtle as well as elegant and worked well with the theme. Feels as if, you're in a cafe at Paris.
The food, was extremely well made and suited everyone's pallette on the table.
Ordered the following:
#CouscousSalad (Rs. 250/-) [Spanish or Mexican (let me know? I make the changes)] A good balance of flavours, spicy and tangy. Aromatic. Apt for the ones watching the scale.
#FourCheeseJalapenoTartlets (Rs. 450/-) [French] Emmenthal, Cheddar, Mozzarella and Parmesan. A total cheat treat for anyone who loves cheese. Although, the quantity was too less for the price.
#RedBeanHummuswithPitaBread (Rs. 300/-) [Lebanese] Generous and yummy! All three types of hummus were finger-licking good. Pita bread was kneaded well, excellent texture.
#PumpkinRavioli (Rs. 435/-)
[Italian] The crème choice. Beautifully textured ravioli, generously filled in w/ homemade pumpkin sage in #Gorgonzola sauce served w/ roast hazelnuts. Top favorite!
At the end a wood fire oven, thin crust pizza with self selected toppings, sealed the deal that evening.
An amazing experience and I'd recommend it to anyone who has a good sense of taste and is willing to experiment with their palette too!
It is a half descent place for having wine, nothing very exclusive, descent ambiance but live guitar solo was good. However the food was unexpectedly good and did go with the wine .(A big no no for vegetarians though)
D'Wine markets itself as a place specialised in wine and yet lacks the nuances associated with service of the wine. I really like the concept of this place but there are little things I wish they had paid more attention to.
When wine is served, any good restaurant would not bring out the wine glass already filled. The glass is placed on the table and the wine is poured directly from the bottle so that the customer is assured that it is the same wine he has chosen.
Coming to the food, we got the bruschettas from the Halloween Special menu. There was an assortment of bruschettas and they were quite nice. When it came to the mains, the menu did not look very interesting to me and it took a long time to choose something. Finally we decided to go with the Beef Medallion with red wine sauce and the Al Funghi pizza.
The beef was over cooked even though we had specified rare though the sauce was nice. The pizza was ordinary.
That said, I think this restaurant prices its wine very well in comparison to other places and has an interesting variety. A good place for a glass or 2 of wine and appetizers.
Garlic mushrooms at Cafe D'Wine in Bandra. One of the best mushrooms I've ever had. This tiny place in Linking Road is a hidden gem and perfect for date night. They also have live music on Wednesdays and Fridays. So if you have no plans for tonight, now you do. Don't forget to order these mushrooms. Pizzas here are good too. #TheNagpalReview
Its located right next to cafe mangii and was beautifully done up for Halloween when we visited..we got a table immediately and there was no waiting! The servers helped us to decide the wine and.we zeroed down on peach wine after tasting strawberry and plum wine..for starters we ordered potato wedges and for main course, paprika pasta and pumpkin and cheese ravioli..the starter was average but the ravioli was absolutely spot on..the pasta was also.good..they didn't really have options in dessert so.we ended up skipping it! Also,.the portions need to be increased definitely for the price they are charging!
Perfect replacement for Ivy!
Food: 3/5
Not a lot of choices. But sufficient for a small place like that. Pastas and risotto are a safe bet!
Wine: 5/5
More than the wine, the best part about this place is the help they offer. They have an answer to all your questions about your wine. They also recommend what to eat with what wine.
Service: 5/5
Very warm and welcoming. Lovely people!
Marshneil is the one adds comfort at your time there. Super sweet and awesome!
Ambience: 5/5
Very cozy place. Have been then multiple times, they change their look with the occasion. Last night for example, was aptly set up for Halloween.
Overall: 4.5/5

Cafe D'wine is truly divine. Last night around 11 we moved out to hunt for a place to eat. I had a strong craving for freshly baked, perfectly crisp thin crust pizza and wine :) At that hour most places shut their wood fired ovens and it does become a challenge to find a place for Pizza.. i know a lot of times when i have had to settle for indianised pizzas :(
But last night was a lucky night.. Zomato helped me discover Cafe D'wine. Its right next to Cafe Mangii .. as we reached there my husband insisted we eat at Cafe Mangii cause he wanted to play safe. Nahhh... but i was in the mood to experiment.
The interiors were extremely cosy and gave a comforting feeling at once. Couldn't see too many waiters running around. . Just a lady sitting in corner working on computer. We started to read the menu and realised there was just one veg pizza. . Rest all had chicken of salmon. Uff.. i was disappointed and we were just deciding to leave for cafe mangii when this lady came up to us (She is either the owner or some head there) and asked us what we wanted to eat? I loved this... she didn't ask what i wanted to order but what i want to eat (ITS ABOUT ME :) ) I told her. .. and she suggested customizing a non veg pizza 'mafiasco' and replacing chicken with any two toppings of my choice! !! I asked for mushrooms and jalpenos.. yooo!!
I told her my specific reqmt w.r.t. the crust and she said she'll make sure its just like how i like it.
In the meanwhile she made us taste Plum and Peach wine.. i loved both but since i was the only one who was going to drink. . I opted for the sweet Peach wine. Woahhh it was amazing.
The pizza came soon and trust me it was one of the best i have had. Mushrooms were juicy and the cheese amazing.. crust was perfect too. Just wish it been slightly bigger in size. Yes for around the same amount you'll get slightly bigger pizza at Mangii.. but can't guarantee if it'll be THIS yumm.
Mangal was singing some amazing bollywood songs on guitar.. he does that every wednesday at cafe D'Wine. On fridays he does commercial music there. The songs made it perfect setting to unwind with pizza and wine.
Overall everything is lovely about this place from food to ambience to service. Just couple of points you should know:
No they won't serve you any complimentary bread basket :(
This place works like a wine shop too.. where you can buy wine bottles at MRP plus 100 bucks. Pls pick the peach or plum ones
Also they have a small section of tables outside the ac section which is open for smokers. I saw people shuffling from there to inside.. good arrangement I say.
Well that's about it. I am heading there again soon... want to try their exotic starters and pick up a wine bottle or two ;)
Just love love love seasame chicken... Mouth watering sangria... European food... Must go spcly on wednesday where bollywood night is held ... Live songs over guitar sung by mangal dubey... This Wednesday am surely going again
This is one of our favourite places in Khar, or anywhere else, for that matter. The decor is delightful, food fabulous and the selection of wines is amazing. It helps that someone is always available (often the owner Sanjay) to guide you towards the right wine. The place is warm, friendly and we cannot praise the service enough. If you are looking for a relaxed evening with great food and wines, head to it!
Walked into this hidden gem and I felt like I had entered a cafe in Italy or Europe. Love the design, glad you have option of outdoor or indoor. We sat outside, ordered a bottle of wine and a hummus platter to start. Wine was amazing Hummous was incredible and for our main we got a pumpkin ravioli. It was so good we ordered the same dish again. The manager was so nice, the staff great and you could feel that they cared about us having a great experience. At the end our bill came and I was shocked at how little we had to pay. We were not given anything for free or no discounts but really was no need as the price is so very reasonable. Amazing place and surely I'm going to be a regular there.
The place was nice.
Decor was very appropriate to the name of the Cafe.
We had 'Humus along with Pita Bread', 3 flavours of humus was served which were amazing.
The Virgin Mojito was good.
Don't know about the wines, but yeah, overall a good place to be with your friends.
The staff was very friendly.
We drive past this place on a daily basis.. So decided to go here on a Saturday night by almost 11.35pm or so.. The place was relatively empty.. I liked the ambience.. Nice n cozy.. They serve a variety of wines.. We chose the red wine sangria.. Which was good.. Ordered the sautéed fish (ravas) and a mafioso pizza (chicken).. Both the dishes were placed on our table simultaneously.. And relatively quickly.. The fish was nice to taste.. But I felt it could have been better... Not the taste but the fish in itself.. The taste as in flavour etc was good.. The pizza was nice.. Overall, the food was nice but somehow I feel it could have been better or may b I went too late.. The service was prompt.. The place has a good vibe to it and I hope to go back there again..
I like this place, good food, good service & big portions... A very cosy place to spend your evening with a vast list of wines... Grilled prawns in starters were delicious, grilled just right, fettucini stronganof too was very well made...
Cafe D Wine should be on the list of romantic places in Mumbai.
Located next to Cafe Mangii, Khar, this quaint little restaurant had a perfect date night setting. The ambience was perfect with dim lights and French decor.
Service was great, we got to meet the manager who enquired after our meal and told us about their daily special nights.
Now to the food, it was amazing. We ordered the cheese fondue, the best in Mumbai. I love cheese and have not eaten good fondue.
After the fondue, we had the Tortellini pasta with pink sauce and Olives. It hit the spot. I licked the fork and cleaned out the plate.
If you want to have a nice night with your significant other this is a great place. And would totally go back there soon!
Wine selection is good. Small place but good for catchup with friends. Quite off beat.
Food is average nothing great at all. Surprising they dont understand cheese !! Given they got wines.
Though deserts are really fresh and wellbalanced.
So if u wanna have wine! This is one of grear places. But dont expect filling ur belly with sme scrumlicious food
Excellent wine! Awesome offer on sangria! Laid back service! Food not all that great! Get some nice chef! Post wine we all get hungry!
Needs to improve the service, hire more efficient staff for the same and keep serving us awesome wines and sangria!
Even though this cafe Is a newbie in the area, it lives up to almost all your expectations.
The management is warm, welcoming, and well organized.
So if your looking for a new chill zone, this is the place.
Vallet available, Ambience was good, live music not so much, wine collection was nice, well spoken staff, serve time was too much, steak was a no show even after waiting for 40 minutes..
Over all okay
Not recommended for more than once
I've spent my last three weekends at Cafe D'wine and can safely say this is my new favourite place. The food is delicious and the wine recommendations are excellent. The place itself is charming with attentive service. I especially love the Friday nights with the live music (the singer and guitarist Dwayne is fantastic!).
If you are looking for good vaule driven wines and good food then you must come at Cafe d'wine. The place is really vibrant & soothing. They have done pretty job on listing of good domestic wines. Servers are helpful. I was happy spending time at this place with my colleagues. Look forward to come again. Cheers !
Cafe D' wine is where our favourite Ivy use to be... So had to give a benefit of doubt.. And hence visited on a Tuesday evening... What ivy lacked in terms of a better decor was taken care of by the cafe d'wine. The food was also as good as served in ivy... And the wines the thing that the whole thing is about is equally good...
So kudos to the management for keeping the good things good and improving upon the decor..
As said and done would want the service to improve... Drastically and quickly - think they have only one person serving the 8-10... And may be one more person.. I think
Rest everything is good!!
Great wines, good food and great prices - excellent for weekday drinks with friends.
D'Wine offers a fantastic variety of wines and very reasonable prices, and the food is surprisingly great as well. Honestly, I can't write much else, except that I recommend this for anyone who appreciates wine but doesn't want to shell out the big bucks. It's a cute Bandra neighborhood place that is intimate, cozy and perfect for a low-key evening.
Lovely ambience. Their pizza, veg fondue and crostini is a must try. Mr Sanjay was personally attending to us infact to most of the tables which was An awesome gesture. Infact our entire meal was recommended by him. On the whole we had a great time.
"Ivy Cafe" which truly redefined the concept of a Wine Cafe in India is now Cafe D'Wine - a refined, upgraded version under a new young management. Currently Sanjay Mirani is running a single outfit at the buzzing Khar but has plans to open more such outfits in near future.
This is just off Citywalk/ Khar Telephone Exchange signal - can't ask for a better location.
The ambience is too good for the concept. Lovely music on the background and a young crowd to give company.
We had a great time starting with unlimited Sangria (Rs 490 plus taxes per head). The sangria was made of Pleasure Wine (Charosa) brand. It was really good and one of best I have had in Mumbai. The kids tried a Mocktail close to a Blue Curacao which was also well made.
Sanjay Mirani, the sponsor personally was attending most of the guests. In general, service was good and personalised.
We tried a variety of food - plain garlic breads (standard but well made), white pasta (very Yum!), Mini veg burgers (good but I thought the original Ivy had better stuff) and lastly Pizza - thin crust margarita with Olives, Onion, capsicum and Jalapeños. Good Pizza.
The bill was Rs. 2950 including drinks for two adults and two kids. Reasonable though I felt the pizza at Rs 700+ including taxes is steeply priced.
You can also buy domestic wine close to MRP for home consumption.
Overall, an awesome place. We will visit often.
One of my fav places to have wine. Best collection of wine at affordable prices. Must come on Fri and Sunday to hear dwayne gamree. Sunday brunch a must. The owner of the place sanjay mirani has done a good job of setting up a wine cafe. Pls do set up more such cafe
Aside from the cringe-worthy name, Cafe D'wine has done a fair job of recreating the cozy space that previously housed Ivy in Khar. The wine collection is decent, the sangria is great and the food is fairly good, although nothing spectacular to write home about. The paintings on the walls are lovely, and along with the suspended wineglasses give the place some character.
We liked the sangria, although it was warmer than ideal. The servers are decent chaps trying to please, they brought out an ice bucket for chilling the sangria pitcher when we requested. Food wise the pizzas are nice, they have a bit of a home-made feel, not the fancy pizzas you get nowadays. We wanted to order the platter but it wasn't available, and our second option of garlic mushrooms was just about alright, and presented poorly. The lamb sliders were quite tasty, something I would recommend. The portions are just ideal, although the prices are a bit on the higher side, given the basic feel of the place.
To summarise, Cafe D'wine makes for a decent option when all you need is a laidback place for a date or catching up over a glass of wine, away from the crowds & madness of Bandra pubs. What it lacks, I feel, is a USP or an x-factor that will keep people coming back.
Comfortably small, casual and cozy Cafe D'Wine sells some of the best Sangrias and Wine in the town. This dimly lit Wine Cafe promises a delightful experience for wine lovers. In fact, food listed on their menu is not just yummy but goes well with the wines.
Two dishes that we loved the most were Mini Chicken Burger and Pumpkin Ravioli.
Except for not serving us a certain potato-based dish that we tried ordering 3 times, waiters are attentive and helpful.
As much as we loved this place for the Sangrias and Wine, we weren't too happy about the astronomical prices in comparison to the food portions.
Only for the over-pricing bit we'd think twice before visiting this one.
Very nice place awesome food and wine selections just the jalopino tart was bad it need improvement the gnocchi is to die for n the sautéd veggies too. Yummmmmmm
Have been here many times and really a good, cozy ambience with a fairly good wine collection. The food menu though limited offers something for everyone and is nice on the taste buds. Service is very good with the staff even helping one customize the food orders and recommendations. A must visit for wine lovers!
Perfect place with great ambience good friendly staff and the best sangria .
Seriously a must visit place and don't forgot to try there rose wine (vellone)....
My wife and I visited Cafe D'Wine to have a couple of drinks and a small bite to eat.
The café is small, but manages to squeeze in seating for around 40 people, split between an air conditioned section and a non ac smoking section.
The selection of domestic wines is quite good, with the notable exception of Sula, and there a few decent international wines on the menu as well. Being partial to dessert wines, my wife was thrilled to see a late harvest Reveilo (we didn't get around to trying it).
Hanging wine glasses from the ceiling is a bit of a cliché, but has been executed very elegantly, while the murals on the wall add a bit of colour. I wasn't a fan of the music, though... A bit too techno/house for my liking.
Our chicken mini burgers took a while to get to the table, but our extremely helpful waiter compensated for this with a complimentary plate of hummus and pita (we did offer to pay, but he refused!). The small portions were more than compensated for by the taste of the food - the hummus was fantastic, as were the burgers. All of this was topped off with a quite incredible cheesecake pastry, which I have never seen before. Remarkable.
Would definitely recommend, and visit again. 4/5
Went there last night for a quiet dinner. And I'm definitely going back. Not very big place but it's got a cozy vibe. The staff and management are very welcoming and warm too. Great selection of wines.
Called for Melon Sangria which was perfect, not too sweet and the right amount of fruity zest that didn't over power the taste of the White wine. For food we stuck to the basics, cheese garlic bread and chicken pizza. Cannot recollect the name but it had chicken, olives, sundries tomato and basil. And we added jalapeño and chicken sausages as well. Lovely thin crust, wheat flour base. Even with all those toppings, it was light and I could've easily finished it myself on a very hungry day - yesterday wasn't one of those though.
No meal is incomplete without dessert . We had limited options - blueberry cheesecake or flourless chocolate cake. We went for the latter , however I would've preferred if they served it with vanilla icecream which would go well with the cake served warm.
Overall, nice place, feel good vibe and good food. Definitely coming back, this time with a bigger appetite and in the mood for experimenting some more
I have now visited the place twice and I absolutely LOVE IT!
While the cafe board might put you off and look slightly tacky the place itself has been well done with everything kept to a minimalist . Its a refreshing change to see a wine place that is trying to build the wine culture is India by being warm and accessible and not the usual snooty types!
As far as the food is concerned while the owner (Sanjay) highly recommends the pumpkin ravioli , I am completely sold on the pepper sauce tenderloin . It is an absolute must try with the red wines!
In the existing wine range the Sangiovese ( this one is quite light ) is great for occasional wine drinkers or early starters while the tempranillo is wonderful if you like medium bodied slightly dry wines. Some of my friends with a sweet tooth ( again not regular wine drinkers) loved the strawberry rhythm. I liked it too if you have it like a desert wine.
Overall service by Salim was brilliant , warm and personalized :-)
Love the place and the best part is that if you go during 7-8 ( Sunset Bell) then its not that heavy on pocket too!
Only area of improvement is that I do feel that they need to extend their wine collection much more.
Approx price per head - 2000
Cheers

Amazing! Best food and the pasta is brilliant! Potatoes are too good to. The pizza is so cheesy and nice
The food of cafe d'wine is amazing. The risotto was amazing! And the pizzas tingled our taste buds! An amazing place to go to chill and wine and dine at.
It's the first Wine cafe in Bombay, I just love that thought. As you enter the cafe it's got lovely Mediterranean feel, what I loved most is the vibe of the place, its very lively and has a lovely casual feel to it. The open air outside sitting area is just perfect closest it can get to Paris coffee shops by the road where after 5.00 in the evening everyone is out on the streets having a glass of wine ; Wine and conversations. Also I had Pizza so far, but it was crispy thin and perfect combination of flavours. I liked the service very non-intrusive which is what i would like in a wine cafe. I would surely visit the place again.
We came here expecting to find Ivy, and learnt its now become cafe d'wine. The ambience and wine are thankfully just as good though. Excellent place to hang out with friends. And they are very nice about not kicking out a noisy bunch past closing hours :)
A quaint wine room in the middle of a busy street :) Very nice collection of wines & very attractively priced, and oh yes, the absolute plus point. Don't go expecting a gourmet experience with an ambience, it is exactly what it is named to be!
My friend & I landed up here after a tired work day & some quick street shopping. The white wine sangria sure did refresh us! Very nicely made indeed..
We ordered the baby tenderloin burger which looked very cute but the mince was quite bland. Next we tried the Mediterranean sauteed shrimp which was delightful!! Beautiful de-veined & perfectly cooked, not rubbery. The flavours simply bursting.
For main course we had the char grilled chicken steak with French fries. Very nice garlic pepper sauce & the fries were a delight. But they served mashed potatoes with it, which was strange as there were fries already, would have preferred sauteed onions or grilled veggies...
The order taker was very attentive & polite, and he took feedback on every item.
To end on a sweet note we were served a blueberry cheesecake complimentary :D
Perfect way to end the evening! Will go back again for trying wines over relaxed conversations...
Fun place to catch up for either a romantic date or then with a few old friends over some bottles of wine. Great variety of wine and sweet interiors. The food is good but very over priced for a small place but considering we don't have to many only wine places I would give this benefit to them. However a rethinking on the prices could also do great. The staff is sweet and gentle. They have a nice collection of wines while the Indians are a complete steal for a wine cafe. You can be assured your evening wouldn't be wasted and you would have a good time while you sip your wine amidst your interesting conversations! The ambience of the place just helped us drink a few extra glasses as it gives you a very different feel of the over crowded streets of bandra.
Fabulous little place for a quiet drink with friends.. I went there on Sunday with a friend and we took up the offer of a bottle of wine at the mrp price which is offered between 7-8 and we then ordered food.. We started with an order of a shared basket of fried Brie, mushrooms and potato wedges which was fab, we then shared a plate of the pumpkin ravioli recommended by the very charming owner Sanjay and then ordered a mushroom pizza.
The ravioli was super but the pizza was a little too sweet as we prefer a spicier base. We told Sanjay and he took on board our constructive criticism and said he would speak to the chef and then told us as we weren't happy with it we wouldn't be charged! Now that's customer service, unheard of in Bombay!! We then had the flourless chocolate cake which was delicious and asked for a dollop of ice cream which was served with it!
All in all this place is a little gem tucked away in khar and we shall most definitely be visiting again.. A regular little haunt!!
Divine, indeed. The blueberry cheesecake, oh my god! The sangrias with their many flavours were made to perfection. A simple ambience with great food to offer. The cheese fondue was absolutely brilliant, and so was the main course. Oh and did I mention the blueberry cheesecake? :D
My visit on Sunday evening was a great experience. I chose to sit in the outdoor section. They also have indoor seating. A very rare place in khar with good food, great ambience and awesome collection of wines. Decently priced. Overall a good place.

Awesome food ! Brought in my birthday here and got some royal treatment. Pls do try the Mediterranean Chicken. Owner is nice and friendly. .
Super vibe and great selections of both imported and domestic wines at reasonable prices. Yummy assorted of thin crust pizzas, pastas, and salads. Will return for sure with a larger group. Value for money, which is rare is this great city of ours :)
Being a Lifestyle Nutritionist I am very choosy of the places I visit, and I must say Cafe D'wine was surely one great place to be in. The place has a very classy decor. Though a vegetarian and non-drinker in personal life I was happy to see a Cafe dedicated to serving only wines (which definitely is a healthier drink compared to other alcohols). My meal order was a Lemon grass flavoured roast tomato soup with sage drizzle, Grilled artichoke salad, Sauted vegetables and Risotto al pomodoro. Must say the staff was very accommodating to alter the dishes as per my choice and liking (The Dietitian in me is surely particular of what I eat ;)
Surely a place I would recommend to all my clients to dine out. Let's Celebrate Eating...
Fortuitous Find
If you feel like having a glass of wine, finger food and simply unwine ... Cafe DVin it is
Had planned to go to Cafe Mangii - which shares a wall with Cafe dvin and to our dismay found - some shooting happening and bright glaring lights all across the place. Cafe dvin was empty so we popped in.
Nice place, relatively empty on a friday night - and the best part is the awesome selection of wine they have.
My friends and i had a bottle of desert wine( you need to ask the staff to give you a chiller :-( ). They had a limited menu as it was a soft launch - We tried multiple starters and main courses - garlic mushrooms ( definitely a miss), nachos were good. we also had a flaky pastry ( spinach and cheese) which i dont find in thier menu.
Their penne is a miss - definitely and the Meditterean sautied chicken was good.
The bill came to 4 k for a party of 3 .
Service : Enthusiatice waitstaff - however need some training.Luckily the owner of the place was there and he guided us thru the wine selection.
Would defintely recommed this treasure trove - if you love wine
Best wishes for this lovely place
Cafe D'Wine is a lovely little hotspot for wine lovers across the suburbs. Located in Bandra just off Linking Road, it sits in the prime lane you can refer to as a food bazaar (so many options, just one mouth to eat with). Walking in the AC section was packed choc-a-bloc full of people so we settled in the Al Fresco section. Its open air feel, lovely decor and fantastic ambient lighting made us forget, even with the drone of autorickshaws, that we are in Mumbai. Their food and wine is unmatched in this area and this ambience just heightens the experience that extra bit. A fantastic place to enjoy fine wine in a lovely setting and will surely visit the Cafe once more.
D'Wine experience of sitting outdoors. A fantastic section that lets you unwind, chatter endlessly and enjoy really good music & food. Their chicken dishes are absolutely endlessly appetizing - delicious, succulent chicken with every bite. The outdoor atmosphere is one that you can enjoy, sans the pollution of a busy suburban road. Love the ambience, love the food and the rest of the menu is yet to be explored!
Visited this new wine cafe to catch up with some friends over a drink... sat in their non ac section outside the main restaurant, very airy with a big frontage which helps to give a sense of openness... Ambience is soothing and comforting with a typical Mediterranean feel to it.
Ordered a couple of sangrias which were extremely well made, I am a fan of Sangrias and have tried them accross the globe so u guys can trust me for that... Rest of the friends ordered different types of wines from their vast selection which were served at the perfect temperature
To snack we ordered chicken teriyaki salad and bruschetta worth to be mentioned .. and for mains we shared a pizza which was simply outstanding crisp perfect flavour and seasoning, and their signature butter chicken which was succulent.
They need to work a lot on their desserts, nothing worth to be mentioned about them, a couple of good ones would have made the meal complete .
All in all a perfect place to chill with a good selection of wines and a value for money food menu.. a combination hard to find in this city ... Go and check this place out... you wont be dissapointed
The ambience , decor is awesome . Food is just mind blowing . They experiment with the dish and have some very good signature items. If you still don't find what you want from the menu , the chef is very accommodative to cater to your requests with some difference . Wines and the sangrias are definitely worth trying
Looking for a quick drink and a bite? This is the place to be. Cafe D'Wine may pride itself on taking things slowly and a relaxing ambience but are equally as good at picking up the pace. We mentioned to our waiter that we were stressed for time and he ensured us of speedy service. We ordered a glass each of white and red wine sangria and were surprised as it arrived barely 5 minutes later. We also ordered a D'Wine Grilled Chicken burger and a Aglio Olio sandwich. The grilled chicken was a fairly delicious burger, with the basil mozzarella and jalapenos working well on the grilled chicken. The Aglio Olio was a weird experience as it is normally a pasta serving and not a sandwich. It worked too, surprisingly, and quite well with the flavor of roasted veggies and mayo combining with the mustard exceedingly well.
There are many places for a Bandra couple looking for good wine and grub! But we were in the mood to experiment and had the pick of new places in the suburbs. We zeroed in on Cafe D'Wine - a quaint little establishment next to Jai Jawan. As we sat down we were greeted by the servers and ordered two glasses of fine red. After we had knocked back a few, it was time to tuck into some lovely grub. I ordered a Filet Mignon with Cinnamon demiglace and my wife ordered a pan seared filet of basa. We also ordered a side each of mashed potatoes and chilly butter potatoes. On ordering the steak, I was asked how I wanted it cooked and to test the chef's aptitude I chose medium-rare. When it arrived, the steak was perfectly cooked and pink and juicy and the accompaniments plus the creamy mash absolutely knocked my socks off!My wife's fish dish was stupendous as well - a flaky fish, basa is notoriously difficult to cook perfectly but this was it. Her chilly butter potato kept her smiling as well and she seems to have found a new favorite place for food!! Which is good because there's a lot to explore and we had a D'Wine experience!!
What an incredible place to enjoy a meal! The food is excellent. You have to try the teriyaki chicken salad and the pumpkin sage ravioli. From the drinks menu, I tried the Red Wine Sangria and it was one of the better tasting Sangrias I've had in a long time. The service too was quick and personable. You could see that the owner Anmol was deeply concerned with the quality of his food. He made personal recommendations and constantly asked if we liked the food. I am definitely planning to come back for seconds.
I was part of a big group walking around shopping on Linking Road. We saw a sign board for Dominos and I felt my tummy rumble. As we walked towards the outlet, we saw the signboard for Cafe D'Wine - and being a lover of a good drink, we walked in. As we sat down in the al-fresco-esque area outside, we were promptly attended to by a staff well versed with their wine collection. After much thinking with a furrowed brow we ordered three red wine sangria pitchers as they made the most sense in a large group.
Next, we had a ravenous hunger and we ordered the Herbed Crusted Stuffed Chicken, Sicilian Cottage Cheese Crostini, Butter Chicken Savory Custard, Fresh Tomato and Basil Bruschetta and the starter bucket.
After a day of interviews, work calls and a long meeting, we were looking for a place to relax and unwind. We ended up at Cafe D'Wine. Located next to the famed Jai Jawan shop - this quaint Cafe has an amazing selection of fine wines - red and white as well as Sangria!
After a couple of glasses, our appetite was hankering for some good meat so we ordered a Peri Peri Lamb. This was accompanied by long grain rice and grilled bok choy veggies. The lamb was succulent, and well seasoned which is a complaint I have with other places serving this meat. Also, normally on a dish as this the sauces can be either overpowering or completely AWOL - but there was just enough on the platter to make us lick our lips. As we finished with another glass of their beautiful selection we were presented the bill and were surprised at the final amount - absolutely worth it and this might become a new favorite hangout joint of mine very soon.

Ambiance: This place is newly opened and has vintage ambiance.. Right from interior to cutlery , everything looked so beautiful and elegant.
Food & Wine: Delicious is a word for food and wine here... each dish that we ordered were perfect.. Fondue here are must try..
Service : 3 Cheers to staff here !! They definitely are friendly and helping.. I liked the gesture of restaurant owners who were keen in knowing if everything is fine and if customers are enjoying their food and are liking it.. they kept monitoring :)
If you go back to the Romans and Greek, they talk about all three - Wine, Food, and Art - as a way of enhancing life. Overall Cafe D’wine is a perfect place and will I go to this place again ?? A big yes !!!
Went for a preview of the place as the owner is an acquaintance. Their wine menu is fantastic and widely ranged with decently priced to pricey bottles.
The food menu is shorter by comparison but still great. Service slow but to be expected from a place that encourages people to drink and make conversation. Wait staff was prompt in taking orders and knew the menu backwards as well.
I recommend the pasta here as well as the breads they serve. Fantastic all round ambience and surely a great place for that all important first date!!
Newly opened place at khar 14th road. It has unique greek ambience. and the lovely music just makes the place so perfect and cozy. It has seating inside and outside. When you enter the place you recieve a warm welcome from the staff. They have wide range of wine from Indian to international brands but thats not it they serve some amazing pizza, pasta, grill chicken. A place perfect for wine and food lovers.. The service is great you might have the chef on your table asking for the taste and improvements which makes you feel good... cheers to Cafe D'Wine. .
From Salad to Dessert was simply Yumm.. Loved the food, ambience and above all v courteous pple around making sure one is comfortable!! Must visit !!:)))
We were in the mood for Italian & didnt want to hit the route of the same old home delivery places again & again. After a bit of research we ended up at Cafe D'Wine to experiment & it repaid us in spades!! Their black olives & Parmigianio tortellini & pumpkin ravioli are as good as I have had. Soft, melt in the mouth - perfect seasoning & not too much cheese it was just right. We also shared a glass of Sangria that was quite large & frankly left.
Loved the food. From the starters to the mains. The Chef was very accommodating and helpful on getting flowers for Valentines!! Very impressed. Great jobs guys. Keep up the good work.
However, you do need to keep a better selection of wine.
Great food..good collection of wines..and superb music that makes the ambience very European kinds.. Great place for conversations over wines..
I loved this place for the sheer beauty of the ambiance and the interiors. The place was welcoming. They have an exhaustive menu for wines. Indeed the wine selection is very much impressive. Their Prawns Paprika and Mushroom Skewers are amazing !! The mezze platter was one of the best i had had. The pita bread was like air...so soft! The hummus was flavorful. Overall a wonderful experience.
Newly opened Cafe DWINE ,, much like it's name my experience here too was truly Divine!! Visited with a group of friends ,, fell in love with this cute lil cafe,, pretty Paris like feel with the paintings on the walls.. dim lights ,, a Greek touch to the furniture.. and special mention to the huge wine list and yummy food.. tried the lemon grass cooler which was a hit with everyone, pita bread with hummus and garlic dip was fresh and delicious, , never had such a creamy n tasty garlic dip b4. Pizzas too were crisp n worth trying.. had a few more appetizers which too were liked by all.. must try with ur food is rose wine..

A decent awesome small restaurant.. great food.. warm ambience.. very elegant presentation.. amazing flavours.. the service catered by the staff is very quick and prompt. I woukd love to visit this restaurant in the near future. They have a wide range of Italian and Continental food to offer. What really impressed me were their ravioli and thin crust cheese loaded gourmet pizzas. The dishes are just fabulous, as authentic as they can get. It's a must visit.
Cafe D'wine a spectacular place in the heart of Bandra.....perfect ambience, lovely food. A great place to have those special moments with your friends & colleagues. In love with the food. Love the way they cook the chicken in variety of sauces. Amazing place to enjoy the non-veg food.

Had a nice time at D Wine, good ambience, service with a smile, the mini tenderloin burgers and d sea food risotto were just amazing..Can't wait till they introduce their complete menu..
Wine wine n wine with great food.. I was very happy with the revamp of Ivy to D'wine.. The European Wine bar feeling.. though their full menu is not yet launched and they have a launch week temporary menu in place.. the butter chicken savoury custard is amazing. I was told that by 1st week Feb they will have extensive list of wines and full menu in place.
The place has been revamped and the interiors have been done to its best . I was suggested to have the red bean hummus so I ordered .The presentation was well done and food was delicious . Great Experience . :D
