Went for dinner here. One of the unique places i have hardly visited in mumbai to have different types of varities with a supreme quality taste. The staff was very helpful in recommending their famous dishes and also warm welcoming.We ordered pasta, Crispy nachos with overloaded cheese which was very yummy. Paisa vasool for food and also best was frypenos. At last we ordered desert and 5/5 for deserts.
It is a good place for veg cuisine dishes mainly. Club sandwich and waffles very way too tasty and delicious.They served me in brown bread which was perfect. The rich taste of batter served with chocolate sauce was very supremely amazing. Definitely go for brownie waffles too whenever you visit american joint.Chole rice were new for me but there the taste was over the cloud for me.They were very fresh and rich quality.The restaurant is also very well maintained which an amazing interior on the floor as well.Food and the place both over satisfied my expectations. I'll definitely visit again.They have good paintings, Lighting in welcoming of the cafe. Also 5/5 for ambience.Loved the food and cafe.
Been here to try the cheese bomb which contains garlic bread and tomato gravy and cheese and the tandoori fries were bonus for me. The ambience and staff was very friendly and attentive...... moderately recommended

Visited on a weekend afternoon and it wasnt crowded at all.
The idea behind their menu is epic and one must not miss it. We tried their Nachos, kebabs and biryani and it was good!
Nachos were crispy and the paneer stuffing/topping was delicious. Kebabs were soft and came with a variety of chutneys.
Biryani came with a small portion at least that's what I thought initially but tasted heavenly.
Since we were only 2 of us, we couldn't eat much but planning to visit the place again.
It's a great place to go and visit again. Also they are on Zomato gold so you'll get a dish complimentary. Do visit!
Visited this place on weekday noon time. Menu seemed bit confusing with things like burger, pizza splattered over multiple pages

House Organic Veggie Burger : Vegan burger with organic veggies smashed with herbs and spices. Served with spicy Harissa aioli and a side of fries. A very good filling burger is what you can call this.
Mac and Tikka : By far the most innovative Mac and cheese we've had. In case you're not too much into cheese, or if you're done with cheese and macaroni you can relish your taste buds with the macaroni in tikka flavour.
Bhaji Fries : For all the fries lovers out here, you should definitely go for fries to this place, they have a page in their menu dedicated to fries. So you can choose from a variety of fries. The one we chose wasn't that great, but you should definitely try the other varieties they've got on their menu.
Oreo Cookie Cream Pie : It is a delight for all the people who love Oreo. The name and the picture of the dessert is enough for people who love desserts. Moreover desserts here are also made of organic ingredients.
The American Joint is a place which serves healthy food with organic ingredients.
It also has Vegan and Jain dishes.
P.S.: The quantity of food served here is good. Also, the shakes looked really tempting, but we were too full till the end. So shakes next time, maybe ? 😋

The ambiance of this place is really wonderful, has a separate small zone with comics and books and a good place to read and have coffee in peace also the food is really good and worth the price
Loved the ambience and spacious seating on the first floor. The menu offers great variety of a vegetarian fare. The server was also quite prompt and responsive.
Loved: Watermelon feta salad. (especially for the juicy chunks of feta cheese! Yum yum. )
The Mac and tikka pasta for the cheese lovers. However there's less cheese and lot of cream cheese..
Greek salad also was nice however far from the authentic style.
Overall seems like a great option for a catch-up with friends over coffee and munchies.
American Joint has some really sumptuous dishes with a unique combination of flavours. Was pleasantly surprised by the Brownie Waffle and it could give some Waffle shops a run for their money.Check it out.

Twice I have been here with my fiance. This place is specious and with good ambiance. It's a place to be with your spacial one. Staff is very polite, helpful and professional. Very good presentation of food. Starters are really tasty. But for main course, we ordered pizza which were not so good in taste. Overall we enjoyed our both visits.

My son wanted to visit this place n today we finally got time to go there. A pleasing place but their staircase is not designed properly. Regarding food it's awesome with some Indian fusion. The staff is friendly n guide well. My son loved the pasta n the tikka sauce.

The American Joint located in borivali is a restaurant with distinctive interiors and is spacious enough.This place has vegetarian and organic american fusion food. The Indo-western organic cuisine is enough to describe The American Joint. It offers a blend of classic American plates inspired with Indian flavours. Best for vegetarians and jains!
We had been here previously but due to our bad experience didn't give any review and now our experience was pretty good! Previous time the burger disappointed us so we didn't order it this time..We Started With 'Cheesy Fries' - Fries and Cheese makes a best combination and these were rich and tasty! Next we ordered ' Cheese Garlic Bombs' And thiss was the show stopper of the meal, too cheesy and super scrumptious! We were extremely intrigued to hear an Indian twist to an Italian dish so we ordered 'Mac n Tikka' to satisfy our cravings for both the flavours in one go, and it was soo yumm with both flavours very well prepared. We also had Nutella Shake and Watermelon Lime.
Had an amazing time here and must recommended place for every foodie out there!
Good place for veg cuisine with a twist. We had a club sandwich and waffles. The sandwich was regular with all the veggies and brown bread. The taste was good though considering it was a prepared in a simple way. The waffles was awesome. The rich taste of the batter served with chocolate sauce was too good. Definitely go for brownie waffles next time you are here.
I haven't heard very good reviews of this place in Borivali but still thought of paying a visit myself. To my surprise I had a quite decent experience. The place is quite spacious and ambience pleasant. Service wasn't great. We ordered:
Green Chilli Fries: This was a very spicy dish and quantity was filling. It had a pepper flavor and were a mix of hard and soft fries. It was served with mozzarella cheese. I recommend this.
Veggie Burger: This was a perfect blend of cheese, well tasted patties and veggies. The bun was really soft and tasty.
Nachos: I was very impressed by it's quantity I must say. Nacho chips were wrapped with hot cheese sauce and topped with beans and others veggies. It was served with salsa sauce which was okay.

This place is on the link road, n easily accessible. Place is quite big n and ambience is decent. I had ordered for a mountain nachos and paneer burger. Nachos were really tasty however burger was a disappointment. I have been at this couple of times therefore i would say their food is good. Its. Note this is a Veg restaurant.
Though small externally, this place is a gold find. It might seem a lil highly priced, but every penny is worth it. Ample variety for Jain options as well! The gesture that touched me the most is that they replaced the usual potato fries with raw banana fries to serve alongside Jain burger, instead of just opting out of fries, as usually done by other places. I visited this place a few days ago. I read many positive reviews about this place and being located in Borivali, I just had to visit this place once. So when I finally came here, it looked just amazing. They have two floors for seating and can easily accommodate around 120 folks at a time. The ambience on the first floor is absolutely superb and spacious. It is extremely hygienic and the decor is breathtaking. Coming to the food, we had a house organic veggie burger and a double decker brownie delight for dessert. The burger was served along with fries and a sauce which was prepared by them. It was absolutely amazing and is surely a must try. The dessert was even better but it seemed heavily overpriced and actually missed the brownie which was supposed to be added to the waffle. The staff and service were decent as well.

The place is really good with great ambience and decor. It's a cozy place to hangout with your gang. It serves most of continental dishes. We had ordered Mac n Tikka pasta n jungle fries. The pasta was yummy n cheesey. Alert the fried will be two heavy for 2 if this is your second dish for the day . The staff was quite caring and welcoming. The prices are pocket friendly and quantity is sufficing. A must visit place ❤️

Had visited here with my friends, the experience was absolutely great! The ambience is lit with hanging frames and writings. It is quite welcoming with the pop up colors used in the seatings and the beautiful lightings. Now coming to food, we had ordered -
Mexican Pizza : The New York style pizza given a Mumbai flavour.
The pizza was crisp and delicious!
Falfalized Burger : A falafel platter turned into a Burger, its something new and a must try.

One of the pure veg restaurants I have visited in a long time. The interiors are cool. Its fun, looking out the window which opens up to the road and a garden. The place is very comfortable and the seating is nice. We ordered quiet a few dishes. The pizza which had pav bhaji flavour wasnt really nice. The paneer burger was nice. Pretty huge paneer patty and spicy. The nachos were definitely the best thing we ordered. Insane amount of cheese on it. The fries platter was also good. It had cheesy fries, one with garlic, one with some desi masala and chutney and one that I dont recollect. Overall, the ambience and food was amazing. Might go back now that I have learned that the might even host standup comedy events.

2-mac nd tikka -it was a combination of mac nd cheese pasta nd a red puree blend in indian style
3-garlic bomb cheese bread - garlic bread were dipped in a pan full of cheese which was baked ,cheese tasted really well
4-tagiatelle pasta pesto- noodles tossed with tangy red sauce with capsicum and masala pesto
5-brooklyn tikka masala pizza and empire state pizza - brooklyn tikka consisted of panner with mozzarella cheese and empire state had capsicum, onion and olives with mozarella cheese
6-fudge brownie shake - shake was perfectly blend topped with whip cream and a fudge....

This is a good place to look at if you plan to eat something different and kinda unique. It perfectly describes itself as American as a lot of stuff inside of has an American accent to it.
First things first, the ambience is just great. As you enter the restaurant from the ground floor (that’s the only entrance) you’ve got a good and clean environment as you’d expect any good restaurant to be. But, as you walk up to the first floor, that is when things start to become different and unique.
This eatery has got a variety of seating arrangements based upon what you like. There are arrangements for singles, duos, family and friends.
Onto the tables you get some puzzles 🧩 to solve (no compulsion), answers to which are food 🥘 items you can order (nice marketing😉). Besides, there is a separate library section wherein kids and even adults can spend time exploring new stuff. That’s a lot for ambience now off to food.
The food served is beautifully presented (it tastes great too) and the tech/fun part is to see the orders placed. They have a tablet via which they order stuff. They now also have an Indian menu which is nicely blend in American style (definitely worth a try).
For all those who consume Jain food 🥘, this eating house serves it and it is pretty delicious.
Last but not the least, Pricing. This place has a moderate pricing (a bit on the premium side). Overall, a wonderful experience.

It Has Two Outlets. One In Borivali And The Other One In BKC. I Had Gone To The Borivali Outlet As Had Heard Good Reviews Of This Place And I was Not Atall Disappointed.
The Interior Is Very Bright And Youthful. It Sets The Mood As Soon As You Enter This Place. The Interiors Give You A Very Positive Energy.
It's A Place Where You Can Go With Your Friends And Talk and Chill over good fancy food and drinks while playing some board games. It's a very unwind place.

I once heard the saying ' An Englishman teaching an American about food is like a blind leading the one-eyes."
The owners wanted to create a place where people can chill around with good food. In America people hang out with food. A place where people feel free and enjoy is a joint and thus came up the name " The American Joint"
A place where you'd experience a very positive vibe. Everything around feels subtle, pleasant and green. The interiors are made up with vibrant shades which are very soothing to the eyes. Lights are classic yellow. The American Joint is a spacious casual dining restaurant.
They serve only vegetarian food. Their cuisines involve American of course, finger food, quick bites and also some healthy salads.
You can visit this place anytime between lunch-dinner hours. Perfect for every occasion like a family reunion, friends catching-up or a peaceful date. The decor is profounds and service is uncompromising.

HONG KONG FRIES
Fries tossed in mandarin sauce with peppers. It has a balance of tanginess and spice though they turned soggy really soon. It is served with a cheesy dip.
AMERICA'S CHEESE BURGER
This one's a filling burger with a thick black bean patty loaded with cheese and veggies. It is served along with salted fries. A good option when not in the mood for nonveg.
FRIED MAC N CHEESE
It's a chef speciality dish. Mac and cheese is a classic dish that I always enjoy. It was a nice crisp ball stuffed with liquid mac and cheese. The only flaw here which can be avoided is placing it over tangy sauce. If the sauce is served along in a bowl, I felt it should not be placed below the mac and cheese as this makes the ball lose its crispiness and turn soggy. Also, if someone does not enjoy salsa, they can enjoy the dish more. For those who need the dip, it is there in your plate beside. Chef can also experiment it with different dips or make it optional in the menu.
NUTELLA SHAKE
This was delectable. The thickness of the shake and perfect sweetness felt light to sip the entire glass. It comes in a huge glass with proportionate quantity of Nutella. Topped with Whipped cream this one's is a sure shot recommendation.
OREO SHAKE
This too was a nice thick shake. Just the crunchiness of Oreo was missing. Presentation is great.
EMPIRE STATE PIZZA
I was recommended to try this pizza. Brings much of a feeling from the states. We Indians are used to spicy food with lots of flavors and that's where I felt this Pizza was low on scale of spices. But that is how it is meant to be.
It's an authentic Manhattan style pizza with a robust marinara sauce. The toppings consist of black olives, capsicum, onions and I also got some cottage cheese added for extra taste.
GARLIC CHEESE BOMB BREAD
The best presented dish. This has balls of bread which are herbed. Then are in placed in a very fresh garlicky marinara base with chilli flakes and oregano. Loaded with lustrous stretchy mozzarella cheese. Served in a sizzle dish. Pull a piece of bread and drool over with cheesiness.

This was what had tempted me to visit The American Joint. It's a cookie dough waffle topped with layer of vanilla brownie ice cream dusted with chocolate sprinkles & butterscotch. Appealing to the eyes, appetising to the stomach.
If you're fond of vegetarian food and especially tempting food then this is where you should head next !
A great place, with fresh food ideas and preparation techniques. Much under appreciated, I must say. The Mac and cheese pasta, nachos, chalupa tacos are a must try. Really liked their ambience and the overall service, its a rich hour here during the weekends. Better make prior reservations. Their kit-kat waffle and green chilli watermelon coconut fuzz is amazing. I'm a Zomato gold member, so that came in handy too. Even without it this place is a huge value for money.
Quite spacious and delicious place in western suburb. Minimalistic interior and same goes with their food. We tried their Bombay Fries and Tikka Pasta (One of their speciality). Prefer upstairs seating for good view. Parking is not available check with Restaraunt directly.
Recommended:
Tikka Pasta is the perfect blend of Italian and Mumbai Masala taste. To make it tangy you can add sause(pls check image the way I have added)

The American Joint has already been filling tummies and rocking the health scene with their fresh organic produce in BKC. Now, their Borivali version is a bigger, better and even more beautiful conversion. They have expanded their menu and made the place brighter, prettier and much more fun. Well, who doesn’t fancy a comic book while you munch upon your favourites!
Our meal started off with the Frypenos. These were basically jalapeno poppers with a load of spice as well as cheese. Crisp outside and gooey inside, they were great to taste indeed.
Next were their mountain-o-nachos. Now, this dish is loaded with liquid cheese and crisp nachos. The taste is really good but they could surely add a bit of salsa and guacamole to level it up.
Coming to their drinks, we tried the nutella shake as well as their oreo shake. We have previously tried these and believe us when we say that they have definitely improved, not just in flavors but even their texture as well as consistency. The layer of thick cream atop the blissful nutella shake whereas the crunchy oreo shake both together sure were extremely delightful.
Next one was their mozzarella bomb bread. Loaded with spices and a hint of garlic with loads of melted cheese, this one was absolutely lovely. The filling of tomato and the hint of garlic in it definitely kick it up a notch. We tried their house organic veggie burger too. This one was huge in size as well as served with their crispy fries. The flavours were fresh and the ingredients juicy. It was ordinary but good with its layers of lettuce, tomatoes, onions and loads more.
For the dessert, we tried the banana split. Now this one was loaded with three delicious scoops of ice-creams over sliced bananas and a downpour of chocolate sauce. It definitely was a classic done right. We loved this.
The place, overall, is quite decent. The menu has variety but they need a bit more of innovation on the menu to stand the fierce competition they are bound to get. However, if you are thinking about heading here for a casual meal, then it surely is one of the options worth considering!

1) Ordered "Frypenos'' that was tasty. It had good amount of cheese i.e. cream cheese and cheddar cheese, though not the melting types but it was soft and not bland, had a crispy crunch. If you like to have something minty you can have it with spring onion fritters, and if you like to add lil spice to your taste then masala ranch sauce is perfect.
2) Tried their international flair ‘Texchilladas’. It consisted of loads of cheese with little tangy taste added by jalapeño.This was combined with Mexican rice and salad which dint taste up to the mark.
The dish just felt okish.
3)‘Ferrero Nutella Mousse’ what can I mention about this dessert, it simply made my mood for the day. This Ferrero and Nutella fused mousse was delightful, had precise taste of both ferrero and Nutella.
4) Unwrap and satisfy your sweet tooth with the Apple Crisp having simmered apple in cinnamnon vanilla, served with ice cream drizzled with caramel sauce that is mouthful of Yumm!

Garlic bomb cheese bread: it was really I love garlic so this was the best
Pita bread: this is something I never tried before the dip made of chickpeas super delicious
Mountain of nachos : it was really cheese and sauce is also nice but only thing is they should change the plater
Mac n Tikka : I really fall in love with this dish because it was really yammy super soft I don't even had to use my teeth.
Feta with watermelon : this was something new for me super plating and super healthy

Amazing concept of organic food with American twist to keep customer healthy. This place is located near borivali link road easy to locate. Coming towards ambiance, it's nice cozy and warm. Posters on the wall was very awesome. Loved it. Coming towards service. Server Ajay was handling my orders, he was amazing. Smile on his face and his way of recommending dishes was impressive. Coming towards food, the presentation and cutlerys that was used gives you American feel. But, taste is something that didn't impress me much. Only few of them were good.
