Very old and reputed place. Location is very prime. They have separate floors and sections for family and big groups.
Food is delicious i gave 4 out 5 for taste and cleanliness is well maintained. They serve good variety of manu can recommend dry chicken, chicken tikka, manglorien chicken, veg crispy and starts were also filling.
Love the food,and everything is sonpockefroemdly here.

Prakash family restaurant and bar is bang opposite Goregaon railway station and next to bus stop. Been here many times with family and friends. There is separate family section and the ambiance is also good.
They serve really good Mughlai food. Quick service and helpful staff. Always had great memorable time here.
I have been here quite many times, their food is great, its a great place for get-togethers, nice variety of menus, love this place, big cheers!

This is nice place for family n friends. It is reasonable cost and near by station. Best food like fish was awesome n chicken was vary well cooked, Pizza is so crunchy n Soup is Spicy. In Buffet area also best like mutton is so Delicious. Dessert was On like Ras malai.
Hotel Prakash is located near Goregaon West side bus Stop.. it is easy to travel by train to reach there..

I m visiting this restaurant since my childhood,almost ol birthdays of my family members v celebrated here,the staff is very humble and polite,special thanks to mr. narayan who is always der to look after us,they have sperate family section with ac and non ac hall on different floors,apart from that this is very famous resto n bar since it is just near to goregaon stn...the food wat they serves here is just delicious in taste aswellas in suffiecient quantity..we almost tried ol d things from their menu in veg aswellas in nonveg...and they never fails to impress us as always

I am visiting this restaurant since my childhood and not even a single time it disappointed me. The taste of the food is amazing, the quantity is sufficient and it is very friendly to pocket.. if you really want to hogg over a food in a budget then this is the best place to go for.. you can enjoy it with your friends and family..

As people were busy bursting crackers on a smoky Diwali night, we were searching for a good place to dine out. A phone call later, we were on our way to Hotel Prakash for a family reunion. Impromptu plans are always the best ones.
Located right near Goregaon station, Hotel Prakash is not an ideal choice for family outing (yes, I know the name of the restaurant argues otherwise). But when you hear good things about the food (thats how my maternal uncle convinced me), it hardly matters !
Chicken Tandoori Lollipop - It was absolutely terrific. Probably one of the best starter I have ever had. The chicken was fresh and tender. Must try.
Pomphret Rawa Fry - The person who was serving us recommended it persistently. And I must say, he wasnt wrong ! The fish was fresh, well prepared and crispy. Good option to try.
Chicken Handi - Strictly okay. Avoid.
Mushroom Masala - It was a typical gravy based dish minus the paneer. Certainly not extraordinary.

Went yesterday day as had a craving for tandoori chicken. Ordered a tandoori chicken and i wasnt let down at all. Amazing taste. Well cooked and as usual all worth to the pocket. Ambience is great and calm. Food quality is nice and service is quick. Woulf definately recommend
Chicken pahadi as starter and panner tikka. Just amazing. Veg pulao and chicken biryani wll give a great end with fresh lime soda . Perfect family place
Prakash has amazing butter chicken, naan, chicken Lollypops and tandoori chicken at a very reasonable rate. Even the alcohol is quite reasonable. The service is quick as well. For vegetarians the paneer chilly, mushroom chilly and paneer tikka masala is good. For a quick meal and delicious butter chicken at reasonable rates one must come to Prakash Family restaurant at Goregaon west right outside the station.
The chop kebab here is a must try and its the only thing we go to eat here. The rest of the food is mediocore. Not much to say about the ambience. The 3.5 stars are only for the one dish.

If you are on a budget, looking for a place that serves decent non veg food at a reasonable rate near Goregaon station, this restaurant fits the description. I occasionally visit this place with my family when no one is in a mood to cook. Pahadi Kebab is my favorite starter. The last time I ordered Chicken tandoori ,it was slightly uncooked and not as tender as it used to be. Mixed platter is undoubtedly the starter to go for, if there are more than 4 people. For main course, Mutton Roghanjosh in mutton and Murg Musallam in Chicken are my personal favorites. Chicken Kolhapuri is the most budget friendly dish, I mean how many hotels offer a non veg main course dish for 160 these days in the suburbs that too with a decent quantity and taste. In breads, I can vouch for the garlic naan.
PS : They also offer home delivery if your order exceeds a certain amount.
Update :Home delivery is not an option anymore.

It's a pocket friendly bar with good quality food. We tried the Chicken Fry and Prawn fry, and also Chicken masala fry..It was very good..worth visiting..

This place is awesome, menu was packed full of great food and the Tandoori grill starts at 7pm. This is well worth the wait. You can get everything else on the menu before 7pm too. Price was unbelievable for such great tasting food. Staff and manager couldn’t of done more if they tried. Topped up beers when we needed, advised on the what we might like to eat from the menu. Cooked to perfection and served to us quickly. Would definitely return as the manager is now our friend!! Highly recommended, loved it.

A very neat restaurant but what's more important is that it's also a reasonably priced bar. The staff is a bit cranky probably because they have to deal with drunks so often. The restaurant is very large considering it's spread over two floors with four different seating areas. If you're out of alcohol at night, this place will let you buy it at just Rs 20 more than the store price as long as you're taking it home. This applies till 2am.

This place is at a very convenient to reach location. I have had only non-vegetarian here. And I can totally recommend it to anyone who is out for a cpl of drinks and good non veg starters and main course in a decent ambience at a reasonable price.
