This place is so good to go... They have home made feel food choices.... Order anything from pav bhaji to dosas... You would be surprised with the response time.. Food is fresh and tasty.... The seating could get better... But the place is a nice peaceful diner to have your in between meals or breakfast or dinner
Bay leaf is a good place to visit with family and friends. The food of this place is amazing. I had ordered paneer butter masala and triangi rice and it was very tasty. The Chinese dishes of this place is good. I also ordered chocolate milkshake, the thickness is so good. I would definitely recommend this place .
Bay leaf is One of the better dining places located in Kandivali East Thakur complex. This is place has some amazing ambience which includes a spacious dining area. The staff here is very polite and helpful. Here we tried their paneer tawa paratha , veg Nawabi and the sizzling brownie . The paneer tawa paratha here is highly recommended it tasted extremely good it was served with chole , black dal and raita. The veg Nawabi too was pretty good it had freshly minced vegatbles stuffed in a papad and cooked in an amazing gravy. Lastly the classic sizzling brownie was the perfect way to end a very satisfying meal. Overall this was a great place to dine with friends and family.

An amazing place for Dosas and Pav Bhaji. The Dosas are really crispy,yummy, freshly made and hygienic.

Order veg kohlapuri nd paneer amritsari. Both were amazing. But spicyness was exchanged. Kohlapuri was mild nd amritsari was medium spicy. Which I din mind. Cause they tasted perfect. Order veg pulao nd veg biryani. Both were perfect. Cannot call it authentic food which I love. Proper chatpata masaledaar punjabi food. Quantity packaging delivery time. Everything was perfect. Nothing bad to say.

Nice ambiance. Best restaurant in thakur complex. the price is reasonable. Staff is nice but they are just awaiting for customer to order and make them leave. It would be great if they allow customer to take their time. Food is delicious. If u try to ask the staff about the ingredients in the food, they will tell you but they would make you feel as if you have asked some irrelevant question. Their food menu contains variety of names and it's obvious that customer will tend to ask the ingredients so that they will know what dish it exactly is. Rest everything is good. I would recommend

It’s a local restaurant which serves South Indian, punjabi as well as Chinese cuisine! Grab a tea or coffee and enjoy their quick service. We tried out Dal Makhni with Jeera rice and Masala Papad. The dishes were presented quickly and was certainly tasty.
Good Restaurant with calm ambience, better staff, go for North and South Indian delicious. Veg kofta and panner main course is must try, over all the best one

Here is what we had:
Manchow soup – nicely chopped veggies with lots of garlic, super flavorful
Hot and sour soup – subtle version of Manchow soup, julienne cut veggies with lots of mushrooms
Paneer chili dry – quantity seemed slightly less, was less spicy...
Paneer spring rolls – it was like regular spring rolls with very little 'you had to search for it' paneer…
Pav bhaji – Actually while entering the restaurant we got this awesome aroma of the pav bhaji and we had to order it. Super buttery pav, bhaaji was on point. Just perfection.
Masala pav – It was well made, tasted good with a squeeze of lemon. Was lil less buttery then it should be.
Service was super quick.
Bay leaf is easily one of the best hotels in Thakur Complex, I have been visiting here since a long long time.

I have been eating from here since i was a kid! Their south indian food especially the dosa is amazing! I am a big fan of their paratha’s also! Especially the malmal paratha (aloo & cheese).

Right into bylanes of Thakur complex this family restaurant is perfect place for people looking for dining with budget.. Ambiance is decent.. It has non ac section which is bigger than their ac section.. Seatings are comfortable.. We started here with pav bhaji which was good in taste but very less spicy.. Let them know beforehand to make spicy if u guys want spicy.. We had mix vegetable Parathas n they were simply delicious.. It was served along with chole n black dal n both of them tasted very good n having them with Parathas will surely tantalise ur taste buds.. .. We also had vegetable cheese pizza n it had nice crispy layer n tasted decent.. Best was onion uttapam.. Batter was very nice n it tasted very authentic.. We ended our meal with triple szechuan fried rice.. Fried rice was served along with manchurian gravy n dry noodles n quantity was good for 2 people.. Fried rice was less oily, had good veggies in it, n tasted good n gravy was decent.. Service was impressive.. Our server was courteous n was quick in serving us.. Pricing is reasonable.. Overall I had decent meal experience out here.. One can surely give this place a try n will suggest to try South Indian n Parathas out here

Have ordered so so so many times from here, the food is amazing, I love the Kofta Sabji and Dal Khichdi is like never tasted before, I have tried Dal Khichdi of many places but this still remains one of my fav, and it will be always

Pocket friendly too.... Their food delivery service is also very fast... So for vegetarians bayleaf is a food heaven..

I have been a regular since the day I first came to Kandivali. And now 10 years later, it's still one of my favorites. Sasta, Sundar and much more than Tikao.
The best Pav Bhaji, Navratna Parathas, Paratha Basket (accompanied by Chana and Another sabzi), Chinese, North Indian food, Chaats, Sandwiches and sizzling brownie come from this place.
Plus- free advice- they give you 4 rupees back per container if you return it back to them. It's a Fun incentive to earn huge discounts in future and reuse containers. I have done in tons of time!
It was lunch time me n my friend were in thakur complex .... we thought of having veg food... we entered Bay leaf...first order placed idily chilly it was ok in taste... then pav bhaji it was amzing n one of the best pav bhaji .... later some thing light was needed... Paper dosa it was long in size but chutney n sambar was great in taste... satisfactory

The starters consisted of veg crispy and paneer tikka served with schezwan sauce .
Main couse was 2 curries paneer amritsari spicy and veg kolhapuri
Breads were perfect not like rubber nicely heated .
And the session ended with sizzling brownie with ice cream .
Overall a good experience the only thing which we didn't like was they presented us with the without us asking for it !

Situated in a residential area like Thakur Complex, this restaurant attracts a lot of families. This is a very decent restaurant with quality food. A visit for some south Indian cuisine is worth it! It's usually very crowded on weekends and they don't take reservations those two days.

Nice place to visit. Me and my 3 friends visited the place at odd time i.e. 4.30pm so we order some snacks like paper dosa and uttappa. Food was good also pocket friendly. If you ask me any thing special my answer would be I dont know but if you ask me advisable my answer is 100% yes

But it is much better than the other three. The service is so quick that you can finish you dinner, have a dessert and get something packed for your family members back home. The restaurant has separate AC and non AC halls, so you can sit wherever your pocket permits. And do try one of their signature parantha(Preferably paneer parantha). They serve it with delicious chola marsala and daal mangni, combined with tasty raita(containing curd, not water)

A very good outlet in the Thakur Complex neighborhood. Price doesn't affect the quality and quantity. A budget friendly place that offers anything and everything one desires from a complete vegetarian multi cuisine hotel. Paratha basket (only available here) is a combination of 5 parathas served with dal makhani, chole and salad is a perfect meal at super reasonable price. Cheese tawa pulao is subtle in terms of spice. It is worth trying. Handi biryani is good for lunch as it doesn't become too spicy and heavy.
People residing in this area should or rather must try it out.

I went today for lunch there, as I was there for an interview in Saraf Nagar.
Rate of every thing on the menu was at reasonable price, apart there were friendly staff, friendly manager.
I'ved orderd Veg Chilli Milli & Tandoori Roti, Veg Chilli Milli Subzi was not spicy, it was mild spice with fried green chillies on top, but it had great taste with paneer added to it, I loved the food there.
It has small place in Non A/c section for sitting, just need to make big place of people.
Overall good place.
