The place is near from andheri station . The place is very known for its north indian cuisine . I ordered butter chicken with butter naan . The food was really very tasty. Loved the place.
This is the best restaurant for non veg dishes in jogeshwari.Mutton kheema was the best of all. Minced mutton were like melting in the mouth.I you love spicy food then you shoud absoloutely try the mutton kheema with butter naan here. The chaas after the kheema is mandatory for me so.... 😅
custard cake is the best desert to try here. Its very sweet and dilicious.
So this place is basically between the station and the link road, Place is quiet cozy but food is great!!.
I would advise to speak to the manager for suggestions before you make any orders , as per his advise I have had tried the Methi chicken which was really good 9/10, and the butter garlic naan is to die for!!
The AC seating area is quiet small, but overall it's a 8/10 experience.

Tandoori chicken : Chicken was deliciously cooked with amazing flavours and spice. Great tandoori flavours and well served with green chutney.
Chicken Afghani: Afghani chicken was a gravy chicken to eat with roti or naan. It tasted good and the oil was very minimum which bought out the spice and flavours very well.
Butter Naan: Was soft and superb. It had lost of butter to comfort a butter lover. Was served soft and ready to go.

Chicken Khichda- This was super yumm, and tasty although the oil in it was very much but the taste and quantity was great!!
Naan- it was like a normal naan and was very big in size!
Chicken Tandoori- I have tried their tandoori before as well and was super yumm and tasty, but this time it was not well marinated so was not getting the taste to it as it was the last time!
Caramel Custard- This was very yumm, I loved it a lot!!.. It's definitely a must try.

This one is a interesting place to visit; do take the trouble... It is located bang on the SV Road and Behrambaug corner (Mumbai). Leave aside the ambience and all... It is reasonably comfortable and the food is really good. Believe me, it is worth the money; do try the chicken/mutton dishes with rotis (korma recommended). You will not regret it.. this was time well spent for my tummy :)

Well don't expect a crunchy, crispy chicken in this but yes the taste is definitely amazing. Cooked to perfection with a slightly tangy tinge of vinegar, this dish won't disappoint you. Also you'll find this on almost every table as this is their speciality.
2. Chicken Banjara Kabab:
Tender, fresh, juicy, scrumptious right from the very first bite to last. Loved it.
3. Chicken Pulao:
Not that great but not at all bad. It's a normal pulao with chicken and veggies in it.
Overall, Cafe Alif won't disappoint you when it comes to food, taste and the quantity. Definitely recommended.

Cafe Alif, the name itself is more than enough for my tongue to release saliva. The Chicken Tandoori, Butter Chicken , Chicken Biryani are my all time favourites here.
Don't miss Jeera rice and Dal tadka. The tadka given to the dal here is the best thing your tongue can ever taste. Some dishes cannot be described in words. They need to be experienced. And this one is an experience worth it.
The staff is calm and polite. The price of dishes is nominal as well. They don't charge you a bomb for Roti which is not the case in other restaurants.

Coming to the exquisites do try its signature "SCHEZWAN TANDOORI" . Its finger licking and will leave you wanting for more.

Guys this place is my fav and i visit here often with my friends...the restaurant is not very impressive in terms of decor as its a small place and is old but if u want to have delicious chinese and mughlai food, then Cafe Alif is the place you should visit....The food here is very tasty, service is also good. The quantity of gravy, rice etc is very satisfactory....Pricing is not very high...Its value for money. If you visit here, try their triple veg rice, crispy veg and chicken red chilli dragon. Its fantastic! In Mughlai- their signature dish is Chicken Bharta which is very delicious, also u can try mutton chutney, chicken tikka masala, chicken angaara. Even the caramel custard is good....

For a regular mughlai main course which is not very heavy on the pocket, this place is amazing. Have ordered several times from this place and found fairly good food offerings in Chinese cuisine as well. Chicken schezuan fried rice and noodles are good along with Manchurian gravy and manchow soup. Similarly, mutton mughlai varieties area great as well. Would recommend for a casual dine out or ordering home once a while.

A good place for Mughlai and Indian Chinese food. I have tried the Manchow Soup - decent in taste, good quantity. The tikkas are good as well. So is their very Indian, oily, spicy Chinese food. Really really love it that way though so not complaining. Their caramel custard is a must try. The place has an AC section which can be used when with family. The place is extremely extremely easy on the pocket and really love the food. Nothing out of the ordinary but just good, cheap food for those month ends :P

Murg musallam is enough for 4 people.
Chinese food is not up to the mark but this is not Chinese restaurant so can ignore that.

Murg Musallam
Chicken marinated in a garlic sauce, stuffed with boiled eggs and seasoned with the choicest of spices. It is a mouth-watering dish to have with butter naan or tandoori roti.
Chicken Tikka Masala
Roasted marinated chicken in a bit spicy gravy which is quite creamy and delicious.
They also have some really authentic starts in Chicken Crispy, Tandoori Chicken, Chicken Tikkas, etc.
Their Chicken Tikka Biryani is also quite yummy. 😋
The hotel has AC as well as non AC seating and their staff is also quite well mannered. Their pricing is also not very expensive. Must go 👊🏻🤩
So we where travelling to Lokhandwala and in between we saw this restaurant in we were very hungry so we went there.

The food was really very tasty.
We also love the salat which they have given with the food.

Lovely place to have food. Budget and good quality. Love schezwan tandoori and chicken angara here. Also try lollipop which Can later complete the meal with jeeta rice and dal ratka.
