Great ambience, lighting and service...
Sweet n gentle services from everyone...
Food is tasteful but not had that kinda richness as we expected...
Best place for family and married couple...
I would Have Given 5 But As Comapred To Byculla Branch We had Issues Regarding Ambience..The Food Was good But Quantity made Me Upset a Bit..But still This Doesn't Mean This Restaurant is Not best..This Restaurant is Still Best And The Thing i Loved Here was Sweet Dishes Only..
Good experience. Celebrated many family birthdays here. Never disappointed. The pizzas are at par with the famous pizza joints. Prawns dishes are a must try!!
My family and I have been here too many times to count. Mostly a lazy Sunday family lunch outing or late night Falooda cravings are fulfilled here. I hear a lot of people say the food at the Mohammed Ali road SHALIMAR is better however we have enjoyed most of our experiences here.
The best part is they do Mughlai as well as a Chinese (punjabi desi style). Standout dishes that have remained on my list over time are : Fish (basa or Rawal) in the green chili prep it is just too good. Chili Milli, Dilkhush, Kala Miri, and Reshmi/Pahadi kebabs (chicken) ask your server for recommendations and make sure you ask for it cooked slightly soft. For organ lovers Bheja, Tava Gurda Kaleji etc is yum here based on availability though.
They have some yum semi gravy chicken peeps like tava chicken/mutton, the infamous chilly chicken gravy with roti, dum biryani (mutton) prepared very well not too spicy but very appetising. Have also heard their Raan biryani and Khapsa Rice is good but haven’t really tried it. And to top off the mains the amazing Dal Khichdi which we just never get tired of eating. It’s a favourite any day any time.
To top this all off their falooda is one of the best in Mumbai and has passed the test of time. They also have yum custard and decent firni. Priced decently and MUMTAZ is a very good server. Make sure your table and plate is clean only about once or twice have had minor hygiene issues. But overall some great great food !
If you're planning for Shesha with food without any music! Right place in bandra. Where you want to spend sometime talking with your friends great place to visit. Friendly staff. Shesha costs you around 550 to 600 INR. Does have two sections Ac and Non-Ac. Your mobile network might give you some challenges in Ac Section.
Tandoori is awesome and i usually like pot rice its nice good food must visit place the ambience is good and place is nicely located its nice to have food there.
Was looking for a quick bite in Bandra and chanced upon this place. I'm a Shawarma lover and naturally ordered one here. It was great. One of the better ones in SoBo. Looking forward to trying more things on their menu :)
Sheesha is decently priced good smoke. The food is also worth having. The service is quite slow. A must visit for Sheesha lovers. Ambiance is also up to the mark

I've seen people getting quite puzzled about Shalimar at Mohammad Ali Road and this one at Bandra. To clear the air both are different and are not extended outlets of each other!
After strolling through busy streets of Linking Road; we found our respite at Shalimar. Lack of options and in quest of trying new place we gave Shalimar a try! Exteriors are good and so are the interiors!
Seatings look a bit cramped owing to the lack of space. Service is a bit haywire and lacklustre on peak hours. We called for Murg Musallam and Methi Pahadi Chicken along with Butter Naan's.
Murg Musallam was visually appealing and picture worthy. The dish was oozing with fattiness right from cream to floating liquid butter to shredded cheese! Chicken pieces were abundant and satisfying. Gravy tasted great and had perfect blend of spices.
Disappointment came from second of the main course; Pahadi Methi Chicken. The dish has some weird combinations and blend which we couldn't quite figure out. The taste was just not right however chicken pieces were generous.
Overall our experience at Shalimar was decent to good! Wouldn't hesitate to come back here and enjoy a sumptuous meal. Cheers.
when uh hungry... shalimar serves the best #zomato
I like your chinese item because your taste is more exciting than other hotels especially the shalimar special freid rice and some of starters of chicken is mind blowing . your sweets is tasty especially rabdi malai

#Shalimar
If you plan to have raan biryani, there are only 2 places that you would find worth while.
Shalimar or Persian darbar byculla.
Have had Shalimars raan biryani more than a few times, and it's really great.
Specify restaurant for special dishes!
Shalimar a very nice place in link road Bandara.but food we have ordring crispy chicken and chicken schezwan rice .these is both realy cold .i just asked server he told thise is hot.if you want modificaton i will do that after some time.
Nice place and ambience. Have ordered chicken hungama(manager's suggestion) for starters and triple shezwan fried rice for main course. Both the dishes were superb. Service is slow. Need to improve on that. Best thing over here is that they have kept hukka section separate. Will surely visit again.
Food - 4/5
Ambience - 3.5/5
Service - 3.5/5
Loved the food the service everything.Ordered red pepper chicken, chicken sholay, and gravy and butter naan everything was delicious chicken sholay was my favourite. It was really soft to eat.The falooda and sweet lime soda were even nice
Food is good! Service is very slow...! Ambiance is also nice...! Its has different sections.. one is normal family restaurant n the other side is where u can have hukka!!!
Try- chicken sizzler, chicken chilly and tandoori roti!

Good late night hukka place. Service is bad. However, comfortable seating, good ambience. Food is also good. Garlic bread, pomfret fry, tandoori chicken and firni are a must try!
Shalimar never fails to disappoint. It is a very famous food chain which serves Mughlai and this branch is no different. Their chicken chilli with tandoori roti is a highlight. Most people come to this restaurant for that specially.
I adore their mixed platter sizzler which is a mixture of rice, noodles, fish, prawns, chicken and gravy. Excellent dish!
The kebabs were also juicy and well cooked. Their famous Shalimar Malai Icecream is also iconic.
What I don’t like is the waiting time and the ambience is also not very great. It tends to get noisy and the service is sloppy. The food though.
Cost of hookah pot was worth it. Flow was quite good. Place was adorable and one could enjoy it with a chicken wings or biryani. Overall experience was good
Best place to suffice your hunger.
Pocket friendly
Enjoyed the delicious Tawa Bheja and Butter Chicken and Roti and Manchow soup.
Quality and Quantity is great.
Worth visiting
I went to this place 3 days ago. It is a nice place for hookha parlour. Interior and it's deco are at their best. I would probably always like to come over here and spend my memorable time.
Food is good with substantial amount of serving...the menu is extensive...frm Mughlai to chinese frm pizza to sizzlers..think it and they probably have it..!
Must haves:kebabs,raan bkryani,brownie,chicken kebab platter
Stands on the nukkad of busy Mumbai street a restaurant of such huge size....they have a big menu but in a new restaurant I always play safe untill n unless someone suggests...but here I went by the waiter n ordered mutton seekh kebab a starter to die for but very very spicy uff too hot....n chicken Kabuli a little less spicy than mutton seekh kebab but great in taste....an awesome foodilicious experience
Hello Peps,
I would like to tell you that Shalimar is one of the old and famous restaurant in Bandra. The food is delicious 😋 To all the Hookah lovers out there, this place is just for you 💨 They make on of the best Hookah flavours and the amazing service.
Get your friends and family there for the best food 🥘 it is located right in front of Shoppers Stop.
If you don't want to get disappointed then avoid visiting this place on weekends.(only for smokers)
Shalimar is known for its Moghlai food expertise.. But for all the cheese lovers out there.. Their Shawarma Pizza is to die for.. And what value for money!!
Its a good place for foodie, value for money. Ordered triple sch. noodles and chicken club sandwich for lunch... Full of deliciousness. Mouth watering and yummy.
Food was amazing... Place is quite good... The only thing was staff's a bit lazy... Rest overall experience was very nice... A nice dining place..✌👌

Sheesha - Double apple ( Mint/ PanSalsa / Pan Rasna / Vanilla )
Good place to have authentic moghlai food..
The quantity and taste is very good and also worth for money...
We were 11 people and were totally full with chicken platters, chicken lollipop, paneer chilly as starters... Butter chicken, chicken bhuna and chicken tawa masala in gravy items with butter naans and rotis... then in rice had chicken dum biriyani and egg fried rice... this is all we had and all had all the items...
To talk about service it was bit inattentive...
Just one thing I didn't like about this restaurant, there is no toilet in the restaurant and the staff sends their customers to some building's common toilet...
Situated in bandra this restaurant is known for its mughlai food and hukkah..Mainly for Nonveg eaters.
As soon as you enter you see some mouthwatering desserts in their cold storage coming inside there is a mild hukkah fragrance welcoming you inside.
Chicken Banjara Tikka - Fiery Grilled Chicken marinated with lemon and Cumin Powder..it was medium spicy but the inner chicken was succulent served with coriander and mint flavoured curd.
Butter Chicken - Garnished with Coriander leaves. It was tangy and spicy but what allured me the most was it had a rich taste of cashewnuts adding more flavour to the gravy.
Roomali Roti was very hard to chew which they later replaced with butternaan which was good but they should improve the quality of their roomali roti.
Staff was okay
Rates were decent and food was Outstanding.
Nyc place
Good serve
Enjoy a lot
Pleasant atmosphere full enjoyment
Awwsum place for friends for enjoy and chillax
Any Non veg is best dish especially the prawns
This is a restaurant famous for its mughlai food. We called for a chicken tandoori which was well-marinated and succulent. So we're their mutton seekh kebabs. We however were pretty disappointed with both the chicken and the mutton biryani which the place is famous for. Their caramel custard was disappointing too. The one at lucky's is way better. Staff is friendly and food is reasonably-priced.
Visited here yesterday... the food was good... We ordered for Mix seafood soup which was really good... And the killer was the Raan Kespa with Biryani Rice... It will suffice easily for 7-9 ppl with a normal appetite... Its a must try... pls note the raan kespa is on the sweeter side... Place is kid friendly but the washroom needs to be more clean... Also the service needs to improve as things has to be repeated to the staff... All in all in was a good experience...
budget family restaurant with good dinner options. about taste for food is good but i had a bad experience with limesoda . for people who love hukka sheesha good place hukkah for 500/pot. must go once.
Best place to dig on real Indian delicacies.
P.S. Don't forget to try the special Shalimar Faluda.
Serve ur taste buds with good food.
Good food and and if you wanna have cheap shisha you get here in a low price but in the afternoon session. Good place to hangout with friends
Visited on an afternoon and the restaurant was empty as it was just getting opened. Being the first order they took sometime to serve and the food quality was OK'ish. The hotel was clean and the service was polite (might be due to the reason that we were the first customers of the day and hence they were not tiered ...😉 ). But overall, it was really nice to have lunch in a quiet environment ... 😀.
Shalimar is a great place to have awesome hookah with your friends. You get all the flavours and can sit and order delicious food too. We were two of us and we ordered mint flavour, sat for 2 hours chit chatting and enjoying the hookah. Recommended for all hookah lovers !
Tasty Mouglai food especially raan variety. In chicken you can try chicken bhuna. You can go with your family or friends or your loved ones. The service is too good, cleanliness is maintained. This place has a repeat value as you cannot complete all the tasty food in one or two visits. Price is ok and reasonable as all good things come in a package with good services. I have repeated my self many times and this time i ordered Raan biryaani it was damn tasty. The quantity is for around 6 people so think before you order. Last time it was Raan fried rice. Second dish was chicken bhuna. This too was good and for those members who opted chicken instead of mutton. Will have to check out for more dishes next time and hope to go soon.
One of the best food I ever had. Calm and serene environment. Very nice ambience. Hotel staff is very good. I had ordered chicken biryani, chicken peshawari and tandoori roti. There are limited options in roti if plan to go for lunch. So that is a bit disappointing. Apart from that everything is good. Including desert Rs. 1200 for two people.
If u want to enjoy hukka at reasonable price ,this is the place
