A very very old joint in heart of Dadar which exists since years. It is near to Dadar station. The ambience is simple but the food is good. We tried piyush which was very tasty. Then we had misal pav which was very flavourful n tasty. It's light on pocket too and total vfm..

This is my go to haunt when in Dadar West and I am in need to devour simple yet delicious home cooked food, Misal and Piyush. The new location is very humble but is cleaner than the old one and has AC sitting area. There are only couple of tables so chances are one might have to wait. Impossible to park your vehicle infront of this place but if you are on a bike Shivaji park lanes are welcoming and just few metres away MCGM car parking. This time when we went we ordered palak paneer, vatana usal and chapatis which were delicious. We ordered Piyush too which is something I cherish a lot and expect them to maintain the flavours, after all, they enriched marathi cuisine by developing Piyush. Palak paneer is not the Punjabi palak paneer which we are used to, this one has unpretentious quality accustom to home cooked Maharashtrian food. Misal is mellow and delicious. People who love spicy misal or any other spicy food, this is not the place for you. The owners are friendly, always greet you with cordial smile. I appreciate their effort of maintaining the taste of food even after moving to a new location.

Must visit eating house their traditional homely, maharashtrian food dishes. Their sabudana khichadi is the best. Served with big dollop of coconut chutney, it tastes great. Their batata-wada is very tasty. But the red chilly chutney, which is served with the wada is to die for. I just drool over it. Their kokam sherbet is also very nice.

Whoever has said don't judge a book by its cover they have told the truth ..its applicable to this restaurant ! Though the area and ambience is not so good ,the food quality really makes your tummy feel like you had some good quality food and your mind at peace because it wont make any severe dent in your wallet ..so overall Good service , delicious food mostly basundi and yes a good to go restaurant at Dadar ! 💓

Must visit for authentic Maharashtrian food. Ambiance is quite simple, local and yet comfortable. Food quality is awesome... Must try dishes are zunka bhakri, dahi misal, thalipith, Basundi and kharwas. We went there in a weekday so didn't experience the rush of people trying to get seat in hotel.

This is the best restraunt ever...It was like heaven to eat food there but the atmosphere is very bad as market is around the hotel. So if u r a couple please dont go there and if you are a foodie I will suggest you this hotel as it is having the best kanda bhaji.I loved it..

One of the oldest and pocket friendly food joint in Dadar west, servers veg Maharashtrian cuisine. Due building redevelopment, currently shifted to new place given address, have small sitting area and good quality of food. One Must try: Misal Pav, Kothimbir vadi, Thalipeeth, Batata Vada, zunka bhakari, farali misal, Sabudana Vada, etc...

This place offers delicious Maharashtrian food at very affordable rates. It is near Kabutarkhana, a walking distance from Dadar station. Though the menu is limited, the Thalipith, sabudana wada, upwasachi misal, Piyush is amongst the best. They also offer sweets like dink ladu.

A must visit place for every food lover. Pure authentic maharashtrian food. Good homely service. One of the last few such eateries left in Mumbai. Bonus - a time travel into 80's (maybe 70's) as the decor of this place has probably untouched since then.

Very simple and testy Maharashtrian food at very affordable price. Ambiance is very simple old hotel type, no so great. But I'm ok with it. Clean and neat. Do not expect anything fancy here.
