Gulshan-e-Iran is a casual dining restaurant serving North Indian preparations, taking care of hunger pangs till as late as 1:30AM. A highly-rated place in Mumbai CST Area, it is praised for its timely service and is a nice joint to visit when one is looking to satiate hunger pangs with tasty, hygienic food at nominal prices. If you are near CSMT station or Near Crawford market then this is the place you must visit this gem 🔥. I loved the starters more than anything. Most favorite was the tiranga kebab and threaded chicken 😋
A beautiful place for all kinds of mughalai and traditional indian cuisine a best palce to visit I'd you are fond of chicken and mutton recipes with super delicious and juicy gravy. To top it the tandoori roti is so soft and delicious that you can't deny it. Also, its specialty is the gulshan e Iran falooda which is served with rose syrup and vanilla ice cream ❤❤😍😍
"THE MOST AUTHENTIC MUGHLAI/NON VEG RESTAURANT IN TOWN"
◾Gulshan-E-Iran serves one of the best mughlai dishes in town and does complete justice to the cuisines/food they serve🤤
-After a long and tiring shopping day Mumbaikar definitely will hop into this restaurant and will leave completely satisfied from here🤩
-Keema and tandoori roti is iconic, words are less to describe the taste of keema and it is a must have if you visit this place🤩. It is very very delicious and gives authentic flavour of mutton keema😍Dil ko Sukoon mil jaata hai😁
-I had also ordered butter chicken, chicken biryani and chicken tandooori and they all were awesome in taste and worth my money.
You'll can definitely go for it without any second thoughts.

This place serves amazing mughali food the quality and quantity is also good and the price is quit reasonable but their isn't good at all the one of the reason is it's always crowded.
The serve on of the best moghlai cuisine im town. Missing those days eating out there after doing some shopping in crawford market. My go to dish out there is their kheema and moghlai chicken

Above all the cost is really affordable and the quality n quantity is just perfect. Whenever I am around cst I never miss this place. 100% recommend. Must try restaurant in Mumbai.
I have been eating at this restaurant for as long as I can remember. Their Keema and tandoori roti are iconic. On of my personal favourite is their Dabba gosht 😋. Can't wait to go back there once this pandemic ends.

I was here today for lunch. The place is value for money. We ordered the following items:- 1.Masala Papad- Good crunch and nice amount of the topping mixture. 2.Chicken Tandoori- Served with pickled onions and chutney.Nicely cooked in tandoor. 3.Chicken Tikka Masala-Boneless pieces of chicken cooked in a rich tikka gravy.
One of the best place in Mumbai for food
The chicken was very yummy 😋

Gulshan-e-Iran will be in the list of top 5 hotels all over Mumbai as per me
There is no sincere love than love for food... When you have a half day and your next to Crawford Market just wander...... you will definitely find something..... I found this joint..... There is always wanting in this restaurant it is better you go early.....
The food is really good.... The ambiance is decent.... The service is super fast.....very cost effective....
I tried couple of things
1) chicken Taronest...4/5.... It's there signature dish only available on weekends it's worth trying soft chicken chunks in a basket made out of crispy fried noodles.
2) mutton buna with naan roti 4/5..... Quantity could be slightly more...
3) fruit salad with ice cream...3/5.
Would definitely like to visit again to try something new.....
Was wondering where do I get one of the best biryani in town and my search finally ended here. . .
The most authentic place for the non-veg food near CST Mumbai. . .
Biryani reminded me of the real taste of Hyderabad. A must-try place as it's the most ancient place running and making so many hardcore non-veg lovers happy. . .
Price: only around ₹200
I love this place, very affordable and very tasty food... Their service is fast only you need to have patience to wait

Place to do visit when u are crazy about nonveg food.
The outlet is near cst station.
The place serves best food.
I had masala papad which was crunchiest.
Then in main course had butter naan full of butter with paneer Tikka masala to end meal had chicken leg biryani.
The place served hot food with great service.
Hotel is average. No private sitting place. Your table will be shared with outside crowd as well. But food is really yumm. Especially their tandoor roti which is so soft, tender chicken pieces. Very pocket friendly. It is damn cheap if i compare with any other
And then there are some restaurant's that revive your childhood memories and Gulshan e Iran is one of them.
Compact restaurant situated on ground and first floor that serves some lip smacking mughlai and indo Chinese cuisine.
Extremely pocket friendly price and humble staff. Service is super quick.
Like always this time always we ordered our all time favourite paya soup with pav which is a must have at this place. Highly recommended.
Chicken tikka masala is loaded with oil, less spicy but tastes too good with tandoori roti.
If you don't mind a bit of sweetness in your chicken then do try chicken afgani, highly recommended 👍
They serve the softest tandoori roti which we love to the core.
I absolutely adore the chicken pulav served over here it's mild, fresh very basic with no complicated flavours.
Definitely the best food I've had in mumbai. It's got the perfect spice level and the meat is ALWAYS cooked to perfection. Love the ambience (that is if you do get a seat) and everything about it. The service speed is impeccable!
Have been visiting this place since I was a kid.
It is the place on list for food when shopping around this area.
We had ordered:
Mutton seekh: It was the best seekh I had till date. The texture and flavours were really very good and it was soft, almost melting in your mouth.
Also along with this we had ordered chicken tikka masala and mutton dabba gosht.
Both the gravies were nicely made and had unique flavours
The place is crowded during the lunch hours. We had to wait for around 15-20 min for our table.
The staff is really vey nice.
It's a great place for some pocket friendly food options. What i ordered was a Chicken Leg Biryani, Chicken Leg Piece and Kulfi Falooda. Food here is 10 on 10 hands down. The ambiance is decent, in the evenings especially over weekends you might have to wait, but you get place soon so that's not much of hassle.
Best taste of food and "paisa vasul "💯
Gulshan-e- iran....in a very populated place but a place to relax after a very heavy shopping😝
This hotel is in Crawford market, always full with people around, the prices are very affordable and the food is delicious
A good place to have food with family and friends! ambience is good cabs are easily available at the door step!
The only thing is the place is always full with people so you literally have to wait for your turn to come sit hat you get a table😅
A great place to visit for mughlai dining. Its a very old restaurant running since a very long time and no doubt it's food tastes amazingly good and the seekh kebabs are just mouth watering plus the desserts they serve are very delicious.
Very nice place to visit for mughlai dining . Located near Cst station & easy to spot this place is running since long time & no doubt it's one of the finest & affordable spot to enjoy a hearty meal in low budget .
We ordered for Chicken reshmi Tikka which was flavorful & succulent . Next was the chicken wantons which were served hot & crisp.
Mains we tried the Saturday special Badami murgh with tandoori butter roti .
Ended our meal with shahi tukda & special irani chai.
Do visit this place for authentic mughlai meal .
So we were looking for a change in taste, so we found this one Near CSMT station opposite the famous Crowford Market. Big place Gulshan-E- Iran.
Ordered kababs, some chinese starters. With some Main course items Chicken Bhuna, Chicken Tawa. The kababs were outstanding. So was the main course. The thing mattered the most its very reasonable for that quantity.
For family and ladies they have separate seating arrangements.
Must try at this place and one more thing only cash no card payemnt😅
Loved this perfectly cooked tandoori chicken..
Guys if you are around Crawford market and really hungry must visit.
Be weary it is super crowded..but the service is nice and quick
If u are solo or with a friend..u can get a seat quick.
Family’s may take a bit longer as lunch time was super full.
There were seats everywhere so no dearth of space. I guess family seating is on a level up
We ordered chicken tikka masala and roti..awesome..taste non spicy and succulent chicken pieces and well cooked
We also ordered chicken biryani and the taste was completely different from what I have ever eaten.Must try.
Ambience is great. As well taste is also good. Do visit. Near to Crawford Market.
If you are hungry and ahving low budget rhen do try this place. They have so many varieties of dishes in veg and noveg. The price of all food items are low in price compared to their taste and quality. You will get quality food from here. The place is always crowded so you may have to wait for your table.
Gulshan-e-Iran
This place never disappoints, they offer some of the best food dishes at reasonable prices
Highly recommended
Mutton dabba gosht, chicken seekh, bheja fry, chicken leg briyani
This place is usually crowded and minimum 15-20mins waiting time, they offer awsome indian chinese food too
End your food with falooda and icecream
Tasty food at a reasonable price.
Must try weekend special Chicken Taronest.
Comfortable seating arrangement for the family.
The food is awesome and the ice creams are also mouth watering. Crowded place and chaos. Staff is good and services are also good but they should lay more emphasis on cleanliness.
This place is located at masjid bunder is hardly a 5 min walk from the station. This place is very well known for non vegetarian dishes. The staff is great and even the service is fast.
I ordered chicken tandoori it was quite good n secondly there was hygiene too
Secondly we order mutton keema was too good
N in dessert we ordered falooda it was amazing experience here

One of the best non-veg restaurant in Mumbai with reasonable rate and delicious menu. Had this authentic Chicken hakka noddles kill the hunger at the end of the day. Must visit place✌
Really appreciating the experience for food.
This place is famous for its quick service. They serve you within 5-10 min after your order. And the staff is quite friendly. The only thing missing is the waiting time to get a table is too long.
Taste: 3/5
Price:4/5 (reasonable and recent rates)
Service:5/5
Ambiance:4/5(as it is family type and most economic restaurant )
Ventilation:2/5
Value for food: 4/5
Ordered butter chicken and tandoori roti with chicken biryani. Decent taste to have mughli food at an affordable price. Must visit restaurant.
Ordered for Chicken Kadai, Chicken Nawabi with Kulchas and Rotis and Mutton Biryani.
The 2 mains were enough for 2-3 people. The Biryani fills 2 people. The chicken and the mutton was cooked to perfection and had a great amount of flavour in them! Despite having great taste the dishes aren't too heavy on the pocket.
Definitely a must visit for having Mughlai cuisine!
Best place for Non veg and veg also.
I had mutton curry full, butter chicken, chicken 65, leg biryani and 1 veg Kolhapuri.
All were brilliant and also rotis are worth.
Reshmi kebabs are very rich in flavours.. Richness of this kebab is due to cream and cashewnut paste is used while marinating and white pepper and ginger garlic paste also enriches this delicacy.... Due to cream used in marination the kebabas are so tender and juicy😋😋😋just drooling over this kebabs😋

Taste 5/5
Ambience :2/5
Service :4/5
Okay! So when I heard this name I already was having a lot of expectations since it's an Iranian Restaurant and this place didn't let me down.
We sat on the first floor in the Ac. The Ambience was quite decent but since this is a family place just to have good "tasty" food, the Ambience really didn't matter. (The place was super clean)
The chicken that they served was very tender and we'll cooked. It was amazing I swear !! Hence couldn't waste time clicking pictures except this one picture that I clicked.
The waiters were also quick and polite.
So, we had:
1. Chicken Tikka(Rs. 190)
2. Leg Biryani (approx Rs 250)
It’s one of the oldest restaurant situated near crowford market
It serves some delicious Mughlai, irani and indo Chiness cuisine.
Chicken chilli dry 5/5
Mutton dabba gosth 5/5
Irani paya 5/5
Special shout out to the khamiri roti
It’s a must try
Service 5/5
Ambience 2/5
Overall very good experience
Food: The food was undoubtedly amazing keeping in mind the price point. Everything I ordered was reasonably good. I enjoyed chicken crispy and butter chicken. Chicken thread could have been better. But I enjoyed eating here.
Ambience: As it is located in a market, it is very difficult to find a seat at peak hours. Also, nothing special about the ambience. It's decent.
Service: Needs improvement
#Chicken lolipop
Before some days me and my friends going to his hotel ordered chicken lollipop pop laste is asome. And presentation is very good need and clear with sejwan sos and the food in my budjet.
One of the oldest restaurant in the prime location of Crawford Market, CST serves not only the best Nonveg food but they are equally awesome in serving Veg Dishes.
They are known for their Mughlai Cuisine but they are equally amazing at Chinese Dishes too. Having a Chinese Dish in Mughlai Restaurant was kind of taking risk but I must say that they serve much better Chinese then some of the Chinese restaurants too.
It's a Non AC restaurant with lot of seating arrangements upstairs and downstairs but wait time is too long but the food is worth the wait, Trust me.
The Staffs were courteous and responsive. The steward serving us served each dish with a big smile on his face.
Their Food is not only Pocket friendly but it's very very tasty. I tried the below items on my visit:
• Chicken Reshmi Kabab -> This was very nicely marinated and grilled on charcoal fire. The meat was tender and excellent in taste. It was served along with salad and mint chutney.
• Paneer Chilly -> It was one of the best Chinese food I tasted in Mughlai Restaurant but wait let me tell you that I had Paneer Chilly and it was nothing but a pure excellence. Paneer was super soft that in my entire life time it might be 2nd or 3rd time I had such soft Paneer. The taste of Paneer Chilly was perfect and had 8-10 big size Paneer Cubes. It was a truely VFM.
• Paneer Tikka Masala -> Their Paneer Tikka Masala was slightly on sweeter side which is a rare thing but the taste was brilliant and gravy was thick and priced at 110₹ it's a steal deal.
• Chicken Biryani -> The rice used in Chicken Dum Biryani was perfectly cooked and could feel the mild aroma in each bite. 1 huge Chicken leg piece inside the Biryani which was more then enough for two people. The raita served was bit watery so that thing could be improved. The Biryani with mild Masala was all I needed and the quantity they served is too good and fills the tummy.
• Fresh Lime Soda -> They don't serve any aerated drinks and just have jaljeera but luckily when I asked for Lime Soda they had it so took that unlike other place here the staff gave us the soda bottle of 300ml and a big glass with rest of the contents and we had to poar as much Soda as we want and as per our taste. It was very refreshing after a heavy meal.
I don't need to mention much about this place. Just a visit to this place and you could see such a big queue outside the restaurant itself speaks for just how good they are. I highly recommend this place. It's a complete VFM place and one would surely have a good time with food.
Had a great lunch at Gulshan - e - iran. It was jam packed though it was not weekend. We had to wait for 15 minutes. Food was tasty and service was good.
Gulshan-e- Iran hotel located near to CST station.the hotel is best for its muglai and afgani dishes. Service is fast. Staff is super friendly. Cleanliness is maintained.also this hotel is reasonable.best dishes are available here which are butter chicken, chicken taronest and chicken crispy 🔥❤️

Very reliable.... Very reasonable.... Taste is superlative and consistent..... Their paneer chili and chicken jahangiri is exceptionally good. Do try their mutton khichda, a Friday speciality and also boneless mutton kadhai for an unmatchably wonderful experience. must try place!!!
This is one of the best nonveg restaurant in csmt and affordable too......it opens at 1 pm daily and suddenly get's crowded. Clean and neat service 😍
We visited this place on one evening of the weekday. The food was really fantastic the quantity and quality were really good. The size of roti is bigger than other restaurants. The only thing that was going against them is being served everything hurriedly. They offer us comfortable seating within 5 minutes as well as served starter and main course together, which was not acceptable.
Quite amazing mughlai food here at a very affordable rate..
chicken seekh kabab although a little less portion was really very tasty paired with mint leaves, lemon, mint sauce .. 90/-
mutton Afghani comes in nice and tasty red Gravy with omlette and 3-4 good pieces to go with it... 220/-
tawa chapati goes nicely with all above .. 17/-
they have a very wide menu with shawarmas, chinese, biryanis etc .
also nice choices for sweet dish items as well..
definitely recommended place

I have been visiting this restaurant whenever I come to Mumbai. They have different sitting areas as well for family. Quality is amazing and quantity is okay for price. Mutton Salli gosht is worth every bite
One of the oldest places in Bombay for delicious cuisines, grills, and sweet.. I've been visiting this place for so long and it never disappoints me.. Just one draw back is the roti/butter naan are very thick.. Otherwise the gravies and starters are mouth watering.. Prices are very reasonable 👍
Really nice experience here. We ordered palak paneer and Dahl with garlic naan. The waiter dished out our food for us. The place is a little rough and ready but you get over that for the price of the food which is really excellent.
Gulshan Restaurant left me utterly delighted with the most amazing seekh kabab I've ever had. The flavors were simply out of this world, and their roti was the perfect accompaniment. The mutton curry was a standout, truly exceptional. Despite being a crowded restaurant, I was pleasantly surprised that I could secure a seat quite quickly. A must-visit for those seeking delectable flavors and a warm ambiance!
This is one of the most recommended and a bit overrated non-vegetarian restaurant in Mumbai. The food tastes delicious but the quantity is less. You might need to wait most of the time, seating is a bit congested and there is a very small dining table. They really need to improve the service, half of the staff is rude and don't listen or walk away. Please note that this place is cash only and they don't accept anything other than cash.
I went to this place to eat recently, and the food was really yummy, and the service was super good. Plus, the prices were affordable. If you're with your family, you can sit upstairs, otherwise, just grab a seat downstairs.
I ordered the chicken leg tikka and butter naan, and they were not only delicious but also easy on the wallet. I wanted to try their mutton keema, but they were out of it.
By the way, I walked there from the train station, following Google Maps, but it took me through a smelly meat market, and it was kinda gross. So, I'd recommend finding a different way to avoid that unappetizing scene.
"I recently visited Gulshan-e-Iran restaurant and was blown away by the amazing food and service. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, with beautiful decor and comfortable seating. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The food was simply outstanding, with a wide range of delicious dishes that were cooked to perfection. The flavors and aromas were simply mouth-watering, and I could not have asked for a better dining experience. Overall, I highly recommend Gulshan-e-Iran to anyone looking for a great meal.
A very pleasant place to go for a family meal good ambience. The ground floor is usually full on the upper floor there is a small Ac section with about 8 tables only.
The section is not very cool but staff especially the captain Akhil was very cooperative. The malaitikka has mayonnaise
So those who like me are not big fans of it be careful.they immediately took it back without a murmur and we got tikka achari instead.the biryani was okk but the best thing was rabri kulfi so also the shahi tukda with rabri is laajawab so those who have a sweet tooth this is a must
One of the standout dishes at Gulshan-e-Iran is their chicken tikka, which is cooked to perfection and has the perfect balance of spices. Their Butter chicken is also a must-try with its rich and creamy sauce that complements the tender chicken perfectly.
One thing to note is that Gulshan-e-Iran is a budget-friendly restaurant, which makes it a popular choice among locals and visitors alike. However, this also means that the place is usually crowded and busy, especially during peak hours. The seating arrangement may be a bit cramped, but the friendly staff and delectable food more than make up for it.
Overall, if you're looking for an affordable and authentic Persian dining experience in a bustling environment, Gulshan-e-Iran is definitely worth a visit. Their butter chicken and falooda are definitely not to be missed!
You will get here good and quality food and test
The restaurant is at the heart of city Chatrapati Sivaji Maharaj Terminus Railway Station.
It is one of the authenticated Irani restaurant which serves good quality and good taste food.
They have very minimum rates compared to other restaurants.
The staff is too co-operative and very friendly.
Must visit once in lif if u visit mumbai.
They mainly focus on non veg, but they too have veg option.
Veg option is minimum but tastes good.
Taste is good but so much crowd 😜
All time favourite restaurant whenever you visit Manish market
One of the best non veg restaurants in Bombay. I've visited this place a total of 3 times and every single time I've had the best experience. The nalli nihari, seekh kabab, Chicken tikka masala, Biryani, Tandoori roti are just droolworthy. More importantly the rates are fair and you totally get your money's worth if not more. And the desserts too are simply amazing. We had tried the rabri kulfi and falooda both equally delicious. Believe me, this is huge coming from me, a native of Hyderabad which is basically a foodie's heaven.
