Chicken Triple Schezwan Rice
Chicken Lollypop
Manchow Soup
Pauls, is a great option if you are looking to relish some street style Chinese food that too at pocket-friendly prices. Its located at a walking distance from Hinduja hospital.
They have few red stools outside to sit and dine but my advise is to carry it home and eat in peace. The quantity is simply mesmerizing and so is the taste.
A portion of "Triple Schzwan Rice" is good enough for 2 people. Quite worth the money I feel.
A chinese treat...
When passing TH Kataria Marg just before the turn to Hinduja hospital, you will notice this small place buzzing with action.... There will be loads of people either eating out on the street or just waiting for their parcels... The distinct smells with the crowds is a sign that you have reached Paul's chinese corner...
We decided to try this place hoping it was worth all that buzz... And thankfully it was worth the try.... Ordered mainly from here... Have tried their chicken lollypop, chicken triple schezwan rice, sweet and sour soup, chicken manchurian gravy... All the dishes have a mammoth serving size making sharing a pleasure... Not too spicy or oily... Comfort chinese food at its best....
So Paul's balances value for money with a yummy treat and truly deserves all the crowds it attracts!!!!
Happy Eating!!!
Paul's Chinese is located near Hinduja Hospital and is nearer from Matunga railway station than Mahim. I have been visiting this Chinese joint since I was a kid. I thoroughly enjoy the chicken triple Schezwan Fried rice which comes with long chicken pieces which distinguishes it from other food joints. Even the manchow soup is tasty. The best part about this joint is that it's reasonable and tasty. Space is a problem but they adjust and help you get some space quickly.
Do visit👍
I've ordered from here a couple of times when my friends came over. We usually order the Chicken Triple Schezwan Rice. The quantity is pretty good. The taste is OK. The Chicken Lolly pops are also nice.
Nice place in Mahim area, near hinduja hospital to have Chinese food. Try Chicken Manchuria dry here, also Singapori noodles, Hakka nudels, veg. Tripple fried rice, Lung Fung soup are good. Small place with outdoor sitting arrangements. Nice place to hangout with friends.
This restaurant is good for Chinese lovers who are not looking for luxury but some late night food. The place itself is quite small but they have outdoor seating arranged for you. The quantity of the foodis great and it does taste very good. The staff is polite and friendly. I have been there a lot and you should try the hongkong rice which is great here. I give this restaurant an overall rating of 8/10
The best place you could get Chinese around here. Massive quick service will all the crispy veggies and etc. Awesome place to hang out and chill with friends as well as family. A Lil outlet with so much variety. Gauranttee one of the finest here in the most popular location with shivaji park nearby. We get just in there without hesitation with that splendid essence of Chinese in the air. Loved the varieties of chicken and great when it's spicy. Tried the chicken lollipop masala. Outstanding to call it. Everything including rice makes are amazing. Good kind staff and great service. Loved it. Cheers.
It's a small restaurant, with friendly staff, although food took a time to come.. yet it was tasty, we had order, chicken crispy, chicken Lollipop and veg spring rolls..
The taste of the food is okish yet the hygiene level of restaurant is average.
Still if you are around Hinduja hospital, Mahim you could just visit this place to munch something
Nice small place opposite Status on an otherwise busy street! Good food for non veg lovers looking for a quick bite.. I have visited this place twice and tried chicken schezwan rice and multiple soup options. I wasn't disappointed on either occasion.
Ordered a takeaway from here a few days ago. Ordered the Chicken triple rice and chicken lollypop. The food was nice for its price. Will try something else next time
This place is very famous for Chinese food. This place is very small . But the service provided is fast. I love to eat the chicken lollipops here. The chicken used is of high quality. I like to eat the lollipops with some tomato sauce
Pauls Chinese restaurant is near my home. I had ordering lots of food in pauls. My special favorite is chicken triple schezwan noodles. Im eating in Pauls since last 6 years and till the taste is consistent.
This place is a boon and satiates my random midnight cravings. Best part is that dishes can be ordered in Half and Full quantity. Their combination rice, chicken lollipop and chopsuey are to die for. Been a loyal customer for over a decade now.
Great tasting Chinese food restaurant located in Mahim opposite to status restaurant, seating is not that good but anyways sometimes food is that matters!
Food:4/5
Service:3/5
Paul's Chinese is like a typical road side Chinese stall with roof and concrete walls
Location: Pauls Chinese is situated opposite S1 Branch of Hinduja Building.
Ambience: They provide Stools and Tables.
They have a small A/C room with accommodates 3 groups of 4 at a time.
Parking space is usually not available, but there are some small narrow roads where you find parking at times.
Food:
This place being very close to my workplace I have tried many things here:
1) Chi. Manchow Soup (3.5/5) - It was spicy and good to taste.
2) Chi. Hong Kong Soup (4/5) - One of my favourite dish, served nice hot and spicy
3) Chi. Hong Kong Dry (4/5) - Ordered the small portion which serves 4-5 big long pieces of chicken in very spicy Hong Kong sauce.
4) Chi. Lollipop (3/5) - I won't recommend the lollipop over here.
5) Chi. Triple Rice (4/5) - My favourite main course. The small portion serves one and is more than sufficient.
I have also tried mixed which contains Prawns and chicken.
6) Chi. Chilly Rice (3/5)- This dish was annoyingly spicy. I didn't expect it to be so spicy, couldn't enjoy it
7) Chi. Manchurian Rice (4/5) - My second favourite dish, white rice and brown gravy medium spicy.
Looking forward to try more dishes.
Good decent Chinese food around.
Single person should go for small portion which is more than sufficient.
My late night eating favorite hangout. I sat with my husband in the car and ate a bowl of soup. I ate the lollipop chicken, YES!! you read right in the car. A great place to eat when you are missing Malaysia and it's hawkers.
The food here is okok... Not that great..but expensive...gravies over here is too watery..some starters are good... The Ambience is horrible.. and if the 6 SEATS is occupied inside then you are offered to sit on the footpath😂with chairs and table
All time favorite place for chinese. My favorite is fried rice, veg crispy and manchow soup. Order is always delivered on time. Only delivery and take a way available
It's been more than 15 years I am eating from this tiny Chinese restaurant. It's a total VFM, please don't go there with any expectation otherwise you will be disappointed. Just go there order food in the end look at the bill and be happy. The rates are very reasonable and quality is good.
My favourite includes triple schezwan rice, Hong Kong rice, manchow soup, lung Fung soup, chicken lollipop.
the only Chinese place that makes sweetcorn soup with just egg!!! also love their triple schezwan.
Decent and hygienic place to try desi Chinese food. And the quantity is more than enough for people with decent appetite like me :)
As it has a very small space still it manages to serve you well. Service is quick, staff is friendly. Evening time is a rush hour sometimes you need to wait to get the table. At the very first no complimentary fried noodles were served. The food was good in taste and quantity, vegetables used were fresh. The manchurian balls specially were soft and tasty. Good for couples & groups. Overall experience was good.

If you have no problems with seating for a smacking tasty bowl of Chinese food this is a place to be... Good work Paul's... Quality of preparation is not less than any swanky restaurant, the waiting is atleast 20 mins good for late night dinner. Parents will love the parcel...
Have been to this place since years A small Chinese joint if you want to have true Mumbai desi Chinese food I salute to the consistency in their taste and quality a true nostalgia
Keep up the good work
Good Indian Chinese food. Value to food. Food was cooked as per the instructions. Chicken was tender went I tried chicken 65 and chilly. Rice was also good and loaded with chicken. Quantity of food is good.
mouthwatering desi chinese food. must try their lollypop and tripple schezuan fried rice.
quick service and great hospitality by MR. SHEKHAR.
If you are low on money and want to have a stomach filling food then this is place. Service is fast, staff is friendly , don't expect it to be very hygienic , quantity is very good..I would rate taste 3 on 5.
Well talking about food the quantity is good as of the price you are paying but the quality is not so good. Talking about the ambiance of the place it's average. As the service is also average. As of the quality of the food I might rate 3 out of 5.
Quintessential desi street Chinese. Service is prompt. Food is decent. Also, you may find me here more often than the hospital. Chicken chilly dry is quite good.
Food is good. Service is fast, staff is friendly, food is value for money. Good roadside stuff. Tried the chicken lollypop, spring roll and Singapore fried rice.
Hey.....
I hv been eating here over many years.
The quality has been the same over the years.
The quantity too is wholesome.
The Basa Schezwan Dry and the Chicken Schezwan are toooooooo good.
There's also a discount of 10% on takeaways
Happy Eating

Certainly right up there on the map of late night eateries!!
Typical Indian Chinese restaurant, with the menu sporting Triple Schezwans, Chicken Lollipops, the works.
My colleague who suggested the place on a late night coming back from office told me that they have separate veg and non veg kitchens!! Finicky ones, are you listening?
A triple schezwan large, chicken lollipop and a bottle of Thums Up set us back by 360/-. If that isn't reasonable, what is!?
At 1am it was unimaginably crowded, and cars across the street honking to catch the attention of the harried waiters.
Six tables indoors, and the outdoor (pavement) seating is quite flexible. They add tables as required.
So bookmark this place for a night when the hunger bug bites you around midnight.
My take -
Food - 3.5/5
VFM - 3.5/5
Service - 4/5 (waiters did a stellar job in the small joint inundated with orders)
Ambience - 2.5/5
Amazing food. It's a small street side joint so dont expect any room for space/ambience, but their quality is 😍
The chicken they use in their menu is so fresh & tender 🐔
Nice!!
I love the shezwan fried rice here. It's simple but perfectly done. Their food delivery service is quick and good. I recommend it for a late night meal.
Wow what a food!!! So nice Yummy chicken n prawns rice. And it was delivered my house with in 20 min. Thank you very much Paul's for your hospitality. All food lovers Paul's is place where everyone can get more allot of food in budgeted price.
I believe this joint has been my favourite since childhood and have been ordering food from then. Best food for starters is chicken chilly main course are many though triple chicken rice is the best and then come my favourite is chicken fried rice and chicken chilly gravy and if you love spicy just ask the person who takes the order to make it spicy and believe me you will literally breathe fire like a dragon.👌
This place is always full u rarely get a table u have to wait alot but the chinese fud here is amazing an the quantity is superb small place which really serve gr8 fud always worth a next visit to this plac
Visited Paul's for dinner. It's a really small place with a few tables indoor and a few tables along the road. It's a no frills kind of place.
I had the Schezwan Noodles and Chicken Lollipops. Both were tasty in the typical Indian-Chinese style. Very reasonably priced too. Worth trying for chinese food lovers.
I doubt there is anyone around Mahim who isn't aware of Paul's! It's not fancy or anything but the food is great for your street food Chinese cravings.
The chicken lollypop is a must have!
This place has cute little tables to sit on the footpath as the actual shop is very small. Food is fine, nothing special. It's a one time try if you are really in the mood for some Chinese takeout at a new place but are low on cash. Delivery time is not too bad for orders too.
The place has 4 tables and also few more tables outside on foot path. The service is very quick and the food really taste well. I have been visiting this place since my childhood the taste has been same all this years. And the best part of Paul's is its open till 01:00am and is pocket friendly.
If you love eating Chinese, then you must go there. High quantity and quality at low price. Since they don't have much space, you might have to wait to get table. Ambience is not that good but yes you can sate your hunger here.
Another place for having SST Chinese - Sasta Sundar Tikau!
Recommend
Veg Triple Schezwan - gravy and rice and those typical fried noodles on top. You kinda have to make your own taste with vinegar and Schezwan sauce.
Manchow soup
Watery...but alright sometimes!
Crispy veg
Veggies covered in Schezwan sauce. Quite tasty to be honest!

After hearing so much abt this place decided to drop in! Because I was not hungry and my frnd wanted a company so we ordered one by 2 triple schezwan rice and to our surprise the quantity was huge for two! Typical Indian Chinese which I love! Ppl who are looking for Chinese without wanting a hole in the pocket this is the place to go! Ambience have to be avoided!
Small place ..forget the seating, because it's not the USP. One of the most authentic Indian Chinese places in entire city. Food is delicious and appropriately spicy .
Must try : paneer chilly dry . Mind you this reco is coming from a hard core chicken eater
Caution If you are avid chinese lover searching for food in mahim and do not care much about fancy service and seating then Pauls Chinese is the place for you!! Their generous prices and serving will definately leave you and your pockets happiiee.
So my reviews go by:
Food: Pretty much the USP of this place, food here is worth every penny, they hit the right taste buds
Service: You cant ask for 5 star service in such a place like this...the service staff here are very casual and need a reminder of your order incase your order hasnt arrived within 15 mins...
Ambiance: They stretch out on the roadside street to accommodate more tables in the night, recommended to sit outside since its too congested inside the restaurant
Food Recommendations:
Chicken Lopllipop
Chicken Schezwan noodles
Chicken Manchurian
Veg hakka noodles
I travel here all the way from lokhandwala, need not say more :) hygienic, lip smacking food, half quantity option, not too oily like most Chinese fast foods, and my all time favourite Chinese joint. Chicken Lollipop & Schezwan fried rice , been there a lot of times, but these two are too good for me to try anything more !
P.S. I like their consistency in the taste they provide ! Keep it up.
A very good place for Chinese lovers!! Located in well known areas of Mumbai exactly opposite to hinduja hospital/Status Restaurant had been to his place for having triple Singapore Rice taste was awesome quantity quality was too good!+
A very good place for fast food lover's....Taste as well as service was good....descent seating arrangement....pocket friendly corner.....must try chicken hong kong rice/noddles whatever u prefer....

"Good Chinese fast food" that's what this is!
Late at night if you want to grab some food you can depend on Paul's to be open!
In the day it's a small place and very limited seating. By night it opens up and spreads out on the street!
Their quality and quantity is great. If you are not a fan of the informal seating you could always order in, their delivery is prompt!
Satisfying food and easy on your pocket!
If you are looking for a lavish and out of the box place for Chinese food then you are looking at wrong restaurant. Paul's Chinese is what we can call Indian version of Chinese food similar to what we get at stalls all over Mumbai.
This place is very small and interior has an open kitchen and can accommodate maximum 10 people but they also setup tables outside the eatery for more customers so you will get a spot for sure. You can also opt for parcel anyway. Service here is very ordinary but quick. Staff is not very attentive, you will have to remind the waiters about your order many times when it is crowded.
We ordered a Schzewan Dry and a Chicken Manchurian Dry for starters. Chicken Manchurian dry was good but Schzewan dry can be improved. Then we ordered a Singapore Noodles with gravy and a Triple Schezwan Chicken Fried Rice. Both were delicious but i think Singapore noodles had the upper hand in taste.
This place is very cheap and in vicinity to shivaji park thus making it a good stop for hungry people nearby.
I would recommend this place to others and would surely visit it again soon.
📍Paul Chinese in Mahim near Shivaji Park is renowned for its delectable Chinese cuisine, earning its reputation as the best in South Mumbai. We were visiting from our school days. At that times it's stall and tables to eat chinese food .But recently they created hotel kind of place to serve people . Initially do order timepass means dry noodles with Schezwan sauce.. best thing to order..The Fried Lollipop and Chicken Triple Schezwan Rice stand out as specialties, offering a delightful blend of flavors. The Chicken Crispy and Chicken 65 are equally mouthwatering, showcasing the restaurant's expertise in crafting savory dishes. Additionally, their soups make for excellent starters, adding a delightful prelude to the rich array of Chinese delights. If you appreciate flavorful and well-executed Chinese fast food, Paul Chinese seems like a must-try in the Mahim area.
Best Chinese restaurant! Food was super yummy. Seemed they don't use Chinese salt in their overall menu. Really loved the veg and non veg both options here. Visited twice and each time it only pleased us with their taste and quality. Parking is a bit issue here. Otherwise very good option if you wanna have Indo Chinese cuisine!
U will not find better plc for Chinese food. Chicken crispy was yummy . N they also serve timepass plate
Serving the community since 1992, Paul's is a pioneer of the IndoChinese genre. After going through many changes the present decor is for the first time, an attempt by this original gangster to be respectable.
Brightly lit and displaying uniformed waiters, the new Paul's is a far cry from the footpath hugging hole in the wall of old.
We tried the Seafood Special Soup and found it tasty and varied with a strong but not overpowering proportion of prawn. The prawn red chilly was delightful, it's dryness a recommendation rather than a demerit. Finally the Triple schezwan mixed noodles were also rather wonderful with plenty of taste and meat to please the palate.
On the other hand, the chicken in oyster sauce was perhaps a little over spiced, and the chicken tougher than it needed to be. The Sweetcorn chicken soup relied far too heavily on sweet to the exclusion of corn or egg. However the butter garlic chicken noodles were a superbly delicate explosion of taste in the mouth.
Noisy school buddies and sepulchural-faced bachelors make the ambience a bit hit or miss, but that's a point we shouldn't let bother us too much.
All in all, would definitely go again.
Family restaurant 😍 from last 20 years❤️
Paul Chinese is a famous Chinese food joint near Hinduja Hospital in Mahim. This place has been renovated recently and is looking more specious.
You will get Veg and Non veg Chinese food at this place. Food is delicious and served pipping hot. Service is quick, you will get your dish served in less than 10 minutes.
Food is averagely priced meal for two can be within INR 500. Food portions are large and sufficient for two. You can order small size dish for two people.
Overall very nice experience, this place is crowded during lunch hours.
The Package was 10/10. The schezwan chutney was so so good. The schezwan noodles were very yummy. The best part was even if I got it delivered, the noodles weren’t dried. The quantity as well as the quality was AMAZING!!
Very W experience going here. The quantity is amazing and the rice dishes and choupseys are the best things on the menu. Highly recommend the spring rolls and Schezwan sauce.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Paul Chinese and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed. From the moment I walked in, the warm and friendly staff made me feel right at home. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere, with both non AC and AC seating options, making it suitable for any weather.
As I perused the menu, I was pleasantly surprised to see the portions sizes were incredibly large and filling. The food itself was simply delicious, made with fresh ingredients and of good quality. The flavors were well-balanced and the dishes were beautifully presented.
But the real highlight of my visit was the hospitality of the owners and staff. They went out of their way to make sure I had a fantastic dining experience and were always available to answer any questions I had about the menu.
If you're looking for an affordable yet amazing Chinese restaurant, then Paul Chinese is definitely the place to go. And as a special treat, they even offer complementary fried crispy noodles as a starter, which added a unique twist to the overall dining experience.
In conclusion, I highly recommend Paul Chinese to anyone who loves Chinese cuisine and wants to have a truly enjoyable and satisfying dining experience. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!
On 6th October 2021 I visited this place, you can dine in and enjoy your food. For two people we paid 290rs because we order directly main course i.e chicken Singapore and Manchurian rice of small quantity. Taste was good service was so quick it will take maximum 10 minutes for your order.
Cons
They serve both Chinese food gravy and rice both in the same plate as we small quantity
And they have only indo Chinese food on thr menu.
Best option for a quick and pocket friendly dining options, most recommended with friends, not a great Ambiance but food quality is quite good with portions size big to serve 2 people
Nice Chinese food joint near Shivaji Park, Dadar.
Best place to eat with multiple varities. I am eating here since last 12 yrs
