If you are a seafood lover like me, then this place is a must to visit. It has some of the most authentic and delicious malvani food, the seafood here is fresh and the staff is friendly. We ate Stuffed Bombay duck which was si crunchy and yummy.

One fine evening we wanted to eat malvan food so v searched outlet in chembur who served malvani food, we came across malvan tadka, we were bt dicy whether to try or not, final we went ahead to try food in malvan tadka. We asked them which fish is available, they gave us 3 options, we ordered baby ravas in malvan masala tawa fry. It was amazing, taste was good, fish was so fresh and price was also good, then we ordered green tandoori it was alsoo good and spicy, for main course we ordered malvani biryani which again was upto the mark, i really liked their food and service.
A good place to visit with family. The service was quick and the food was good..

Whenever I think about home made styles seafood I think about this place. Located on a busy street, descent ambience and the food is awesome. We ordered prawns in Malvani masala with kombdi vade and bombil fry. It was the best thing I had so far. I give this place 5 star for amazing food and good service.
Famous for non veg but veg thali over here is so yaaam. Try it once when you visit this place. Chinese is also another good option for veggies.

The Surmai piece was HUGE and was more than enough for 2 people.
The crab curry was an absolute delight! Spicey and fiery, exactly how a Malvani curry should be. Bhakri and neer Dosa were also great.
Rotis are good real soft and spongy.
Dal fry was good too.
The best were the cheese rolls. They were crunchy as well as soft , melting in mouth .
Cream of tomato soup was also up to mark tangy but bit more sweet. Good for the one who live that sweet tangy flavors.

This place is opposite to vijay sales. One thing i liked about this place is ambience. The seating arrangement is good. The staff is very polite. We ordered prawns thali and chicken biryani. The food was ok ok in taste. Good thing was that the prawns and chicken was fresh.

This place has been on my to-go list for some time. However not-so-positive reviews made me postpone my visit every weekend... However I finally happen to visit here on an impromptu plan...
So coming down directly to the point (Review)...
1. Location and Ambiance- Easy to locate place, on the main chembur-sion road near suman nagar. They have 2 sections- Family and Bar. I was with my family and hence quickly made my way to Family section. But Ambiance was a little let down. While the seating arrangements were good, the interiors looked wanting for some repairs. Anyways most of the authentic Malwani restaurants do not boast of there interiors....
2. Service - Service was Okayish. The staff asked my choice of water thrice. And overall the service was little slow, but they covered it by obliging to our demands...
3. Food- Now this is the best part about this place. We ordered a Chinese starter (Chicken Chilly) with our drinks, and it was promptly served. Coming to main course, we ordered Chicken Maratha and Chicken sukka.... It was suggested by them. And what a great food they turned out to be. The chicken pieces were soft and very well cooked with the gravy. Chicken Sukka had great masala to go well with the roti and naans. We really liked the taste of the food, and it was very authentic too... Only thing is if they can improve upon the Naan and Roti, as they got very "rubbery" soon. Overall we liked the food a lot, and are definitely coming back for more. Next time we have already planned to try out fish here...

The service provided by the staff was excellent, they even called one of my friend as it was his birthday a and gave some discount on the bill as well

Love the food over here. The Mutton Agri is delicious and authentic, the bhakris are nice and soft, while the Sol Kadi is yummy too. For a vegetarian suburb like Ghatkopar East and Tilak Nagar, this is a boon!

Love the Chinese and the Punjabi food prepared here. Always prefer ordering food from this restaurant as they are very prompt with the home delivery. They indeed deliver the food while it is still hot. Best option for home delivery. Can't comment on the ambience and the service in the restaurant as never been there, have always ordered the food home.

Go for the yummy prawns fry which is deep fried. The moment u take the first bite u will like the crispy yummy prawns. Try the green chatni...
Komadi vade. If u r in a malvan restaurant and u don't taste the vade tat cannot happen. We tried the curry with vade and steam rice and both was tasting good. Try the prawns also.

Never visited this place, but I would order in whenever I 'forgot' my lunch. The food is OK, nothing to point out, good or bad. The Pullaos and Biryanis are cooked just fine, tastes good too. The gravies, however, are oily and laden with spices. Not my cup of tea, but my friends do enjoy rich (read greasy) food.
The delivery is, however, quite slow.

Malvan Tadka Chembur has amazing Malvani Food, Mouth licking Malvani Chicken Kebab. Seafood is just awesome specially Fish Tawa Fry. Variety of dishes like Kombi Vade is just delicious. Very good ambiance, with friendly staff and service. Luking after the interior and quality of food..just feel like home...would like to visit this place again and also suggest my friends to have this beautiful experience.
