This is a good place for South Indian food and the portion size and taste is amazing here, especially the sambar dal. The Mysore masala dosa and pav bhaji are a must try.
If you are a Dal Makhani Lover, go try this Delicious and mouth watering Dal- Makhani. I personally love Dal Makhani and it's one the best places to fill my Dal Makhani craving. Ordered yummy butter naans which were perfectly cooked. Overall this place is nice, comfy and the taste is worth going for!

The best thing to order here is their Chilli Idli and Pav Bhaaji.Love the flavours!Veg Pulao is flavourful too.Only downside is the slightly high prices.Rest everything is great.

A very small place at the start of Atur Park's flurry of shops. Limited seating of about 10 odd tables but based on the couple of times I've been here, must confess the food is really really good and I believe that's all what matters in small eateries like SGS. Opt for take-aways and deliveries.
It was raining heavily..so we stopped at this restaurant at sion panvel highway, Maitri park to be precise...it was around 4pm so we decided to have some snacks... The hotel was nicely maintained..it has outer section also..we opted to sit inside..we ordered idli sambhar, idli vada sambhar, rava sada dosa and onion uthappa.. the sambhar is here very tasty.. idli and vada were soft.. the service person kept an extra bowl of sambhar on the table..it was delicious..the dosa was crisp n tasty...but the dish of the day was onion uthappa...it had precise quantity of onion and was very tasty... One more nice addition on my list for gorging south Indian snacks.. so make it a point to visit this restaurant when at Maitri park..

This place serves vegetarian food situated near maitri park. I have eaten here many a times. One of the dishes that i liked was idli chilly. Others dishes you can try is lahori masala, dal tadka, dal makhani, cheese biryani.
We tried their Cheese Pay bhaji and Onion Rava dosa, all I can review it as simplicity at its best. You might not get very fancy ambience or presentation but if you want to relish and enjoy your evening bite..this place can be included in your list of visit.
Staff and service is Good. Almost forgot to mention about their TEA being really good!
I visited this place early morning , there were just 2 waiters serving promptly and still the place was decently occupied. Good seating. Good enough for a quick stop over the Sion Panvel Highway while travelling long. They do have great varieties with Dosa. Looking forward to try Baby Dosa but they serve that only post 11 or 12. Upma was good π and Rava Dosa too good. π
Excellent pav bhaji and sambar vada. All manner of dosas / roti - sabzis are also decent. Best coupled with a movie at the nearby KStar mall.
A simple looking, food joint in the heart of Chembur, one might simply miss it at the first look. But, am a fan of the taste of food of this place.
Lahori masala - my favourite vegetable by far, kaju masala is awesome as well and so is paneer kolhapuri. In fact a lot of people visit here for the pav bhaji which is good too.
In fact the place has a lot of food with very good taste, but if you are looking for great ambience, crowd and service maybe not for you.
Do go if you just want to have good food.
Very decent place with quick service. Punjabi cuisine are just awesome. Chinese starter like veg crispy and veg schezwan dry is good too. Also do try pav bhaji here. Price is reasonable. Clean and tidy place.

Do try : Schezwan fried rice & Manchurian, all starters, south indian dishes.
At times the starters are prepared with too much of oil so always tell them to prepare food with less oil.

Just like any other south Indian restaurant. Quick service, decent food and good location are its pluses and they've stuck to it since years. A good place to enjoy a quick coffee and idli sambhar. Been doing that since childhood.
This is near to my school and I used to go there back in school and sometimes I go now also it has one of the best rava dosas and yummy Pav Bhaji and idli sambar!! The Pav Bhaji and masala Pav are so yummy that we used to go almost every week to eat!! Must try :)

It was sudden walk into this restaurant when we were shopping for shoes nearby. The good thing about this place is that the owner dines in the same restaurant. Also when a customer came asking for stuff that was not served in this hotel the owner directed him to a sweet shop (Jhama) nearby. Β Both speaks a lot about the owned
The Pav-Bhaji was in my opinion over priced at 125 INR compared to the Rava Dosa (a little greasy! - understandably served on banana leaf) and Mysore Sada both priced at 64 INR.Β
The guy who picks the soiled plates had to be educated to wait until the customer has finished his food in the plate. The service is extremely fast and the only delay was in getting us the bill. 5* for service.
A excellent place for delicious vegetarian food. Simple restaurant, ambiance not worth mentioning. The food is mouth watering and everything in the menu is worth tasting. Dosas and paneer curries are my favorites in this place. Unlike other similar restaurants, this one is seldom crowded. The place to visit when on a tight budget but do not want to compromise on the food.

I have been to this place quite a few times as it was near my college. This place has both outdoor and indoor seating and Β I would recommend outdoor seating as it is a bit hot inside.
Specialty of this place is South Indian cuisine but quite ironically I have mostly tried North Indian dishes over here. We mostly went for lunch so Punjabi cuisine was preferable all the time. Paneer Koliwada and Paneer Kolapuri are best over here. I can't remember other curries that we tried. Cheese Pav Bhaji was very delicious, All kinds of rotis are good. Basically a good place to have your meal.
Place is well managed and waiters are friendly. One of the waiters remembered us the next time we visited. Service takes a bit of time but food covers up for it. This place is a steal as far as price is concerned.
I will recommend it to everyone.

A no frills, only yummy veg food restaurant!
I have ordered food from this place so many times that I have literally lost count! The food is simply delicious! Be it the south indian dosa varieties, north indian paneer curries (special mention for their paneer tikka masala), the indianized chinese (nice and spicy) or the killer pav-bhaji! You can't cross this place without being enticed by the aroma of their delicious pav bhaji!
Being moderately priced and offering different cuisines (only veg food though) are definite bonuses for this restaurant! They have a small seating area but no ambience, so i would advise a pick-up or an order-in to enjoy their tempting food at home!
A very good hotel with quick service. I always have pav bhaji in this hotel. Quite addicted to pay bhaji of this place. Also this place has ample space to park your car considering it is situated on the highway road. Shopping delights like adidas, Reebok, fila adjacent to this hotel makes me a frequent visitor.
Had a simple idli and gobi paratha. Food taste is good and quantity is copious. Ambience is not great since it situated right next to a wine shop and hence suggested more as a takeaway or order-in rather than a place to dine in. Prices are fairly reasonable compared to similar veg restaurants in the area.
Vegetarian food has never tasted so good. From their south Indian cuisine to the Punjabi dish options, the food is always impeccably clean and delicious nonetheless. Easy on the pocket gets them some extra brownie points for sure. Its a heaven for the vegetarians!

This place has a menu that ranges cuisines and palettes and is very, very affordable. If you're in a money crunch and want to eat in a decent restaurant, Ganesh Sagar is your place to be.
Their Pav Bhaji is exceptionally good. Not necessarily the best in the city, but certainly better than most. Their chaat is on the upper end of the scale and their Indianised Pizzas (if you've had pizzas like them before, you'd know what I mean) are certainly a great snack and meal. Their grilled sandwiches are excellent and as mentioned before, the place is really easy on the wallet. A great go-to place of you want some downright greasy outdoor food.
If you are looking for some delicious pav bhaji, surely u cn try this place.. Defying the status quo of being an udipi restaurant this place has equally good punjabi food.! ( though south Indian food doesnt match up to the standards of udipi restaurant.. Still decent) .. If you are here, apart from pav bhaji idli chillie is a must try..! Not very expensive its a perfect place fr a quick snack..! And one big plus point is availability of sufficient parking place around d place..!

Place is closest to my house. If i am alone i order food from here. I love their pav bhaji. I can never eat a Idli Sambhar alone, it is always accompanied by Masala Dosa. Their Daal Khichdi, is one of the best i have had and very fulfilling, this this khichdi is not to be confused with the one that we eat when our stomach is upset

Nice small place. Had a person who can help you with parking on the busy road. Ordered a very long dosa. The server was kind to suggest that it could be eaten by two people saving on extra order.
