Powai is a huge place and there are lot of shops and food outlets to explore over here . Ribbons & balloons has always been one of my favourite places to eat from . I was randomly wandering in powai for some reason and that was when I discovered this place . The ambience was just like most other ribbons and balloons shops and so was the pastry . Simply loved it so much that I parcelled a couple to even take home .
We ordered our father's birthday cake from here. In the past too, we've ordered several cakes from here and enjoyed the chocolate ones. Our Mocca Delight cake had a nice coffee flavour. Their cakes also last in the fridge for a long time, so we can enjoy the desserts for a few days.
Have always ordered rolls from some other brand outlet but thought to give Ribbons and Balloons a try..And to my delight ..they had some amazing rolls both veg and non veg.. I had ordered for assorted rolls like..chicken kheema, chicken rara, veg chilli milli , veg pattice. Everything was amazing. The staff is helpful and courteous.. Keep up the good work

Ribbons and Balloons will always be special to me. I secretly ordered a chocolate truffle cake for the wedding anniversary of my parents. The cake was supposed to arrive at 12 in the night. I had asked the delivery to be made to the main gate of my colony so that my parents wouldn't know. A few minutes before 12 I got a call from the person delivering the cake asking for directions. So, I readied the cash from my (not so) secret stash. My parents were about to call it a night, until, my dad realised something was up. I think he overheard me whispering the directions on that call. A plan that was so perfect until then, just got punctured. I took that walk to the main gate, which now seemed longer than usual, thinking about what I could've done differently to have kept my plan under wraps. I picked up the cake, paid the cash and brought it home. Yes, things didn't go according to my plan.. But that void of imperfection within me was filled by how perfect that chocolate truffle cake was that day and how excited my parents got over something as small as trying to secretly getting them a cake.. Who said chocolate can't solve problems eh? This happened so many years ago and I still recall and cherish those memories to this day. Funnily, everytime I head out for a walk these days, my dad pulls my leg saying that I'm secretly going to get something! Ribbons and Balloons.. Thank You! Thank you for that beautiful cake you sent that day. Thank you for helping me create such a beautiful memory we'd all remember for a lifetime(or atleast I hope we all do).
ribbons and balloons has a good taste of cake it melts easily by putting in our mouth. I have good experience from ribbons and balloons I.e I love to buy cake from R&B.

We got a cake from ribbons & balloons for our friend's birthday. The cake was gooey and chocolatey just the way we like it. But it wasn't that moist. It was a tad bit dry.

it was my birthday , and my friends brought the cake from here, oh man ....that was huge, they created a choco cake in a design of a guitar. it was amazing both by looks and taste. if you guys are searching a cake zone where you need both design and taste ,,,this is the place
this is one of the good cake shops in powai.
tried many varieties from this place but the tiramisu cake is worth a mention.
it has somewhat a coffee taste and is quite soft and is worth trying .
the staff needs little more training work front .
mostly in the evening, everything is almost over .

Ribbons and ballon one if my favourite cake shop. Usually order cake for birthday parties in office. The Swiss roll , muffins , wafers, veg puffs are on the top list. Great option for sweet tooth person.
I still remember it's the first bakery from where I had a pastry after I first came down to Mumbai. It's a small corner in galleria, no seating arrangement, but has a huge variety of pastries and cakes and other savories. The portion of one pastry is quite a lot. I have tried almost all the chocolate and blueberry pastries. But if you are there for the first time, I'd suggest try out the rich truffle cake. You can never go wrong with dark chocolate cakes ;)

Quite well known cake shop...... Had Milky chocolate Squaash pastry...... Well the reason was nothing but just the presentation of the pastry....... The taste is usually alwys yum..!!!:p

Unfortunately the person who ordered the came doesn't remember the name of the cake, so please refer to the pic in the review. The cake was very well baked with soft and creamy layers of cake and chocolate strips on the sides, which made it look like a small fort ;)

They have good rich cakes. A very good place to get cakes for any occasion. Their taste of cakes has been consistent over years. Price wise also it's good. Good variety in eggless cakes as well. Even puffs and rolls are decent but dry.
The go to place of we need a cake for any occasion for office... They also serve other stuff like croissant etc. but their cakes is a favourite for all our office staff. They uncle at the counter is very cooperative. Cakes are soft, delicate and yum. They definitely can do better at he name writing skills.

Love their plum muffin and appe strudel. Tried the veg patty and it was fresh. The chocolate cakes are great to taste. The store is big and has many varieties of cakes and breads. I was a regular so I had a chance to taste almost everything and never once was I dissapointed. You can buy anything from this store with your eyes shut. The guys and gals at the store would sometimes spare me from paying money for the plastic bag that I took on some occassions. That is a nice gesture because they understood that I did not take it unless I had nothing to carry their delicacies in that day. So, a ton of thanks and keep it up.

Strategically located in Powai, this place is sure nothing short of Heaven on earth. Amazing variety of pastries and cake. Good Assortment of snacks. Love their potato wafers. Birthday cakes are all extravagant. Small Advice, If you want an absolutley fresh Birthday Cake , Please d order it 24 hrs hence. Saying that , even if you happen to pick up a birthday cake spontaneously , you are good to eat it , if its for the same day . If any case , you plan to eat the day after , please store it in a fridge ! Also, try their brownies !
They do justice to making birthday cakes. This time ordered a 2 kg chocolate truffle with the mermaid photo cake. Usually the photo colors merge with the cake and affects the taste. This one was different and didnot interfere with the chocolate flavor. The service was prompt, only grouse is they should avoid charging extra for delivering outside 3km radius.
Try the Fruit Cake here which is done with Fresh cream and fruit toppings which looks and tastes awesome....fluffy and creamy and rich!!
The place has become smaller,but the pastries have not.They still have the same richness.OMG,i am so going now, coffee blueberry,german black forest,tiramisu etc are really too good.THe twenty five bucks chicken quiche is worth every rupee on matters of its taste and quantity.Every food item is not that good,but then there is the pastry rite.

I love Ribbons and Balloons pastry and cakes. Esp chocolate cakes..why? Because they are not dense like most bakeries.
They have this wonderful texture to their cake that is very filling and light at the same time and the cream is lovely with just the right amount of chocolate layering. They have a good range of flavors, not many but sensible range.
The savouries were good at one time but don't interest me much now. It is more bread than filling. They had a lovely spinach paneer roll and lovely quiche but is missing from their menu now. Potato chips are of good quality .
Overall nice and I hope they stay afloat amidst rising competition.
