Barista located at Chembur opposite dimond garden is one of the best branch for cup of coffee or to hang out with friends or for meetings. Have been quite few times and simply love there service and supportive staff

It's a great place for professional meetups. Nothing quite special but the coffee and the desserts are decent. I haven't tried the snacks yet.
In this rainy evening we were feeling very hungry. Thus we decided to order some snacks at home. We ordered one smoked chicken sandwich and one chicken puff from Barista (Chembur). The food was delivered quickly. Chicken sandwich was extremely smokey and tasted well. Chicken puff had perfect balance of flavours and tasted awesome.

Latte, Mocha and Barista frappe are really good (they actually know how to brew good coffee).
The blueberry muffins are very fresh & tasty and go perfectly well with coffee.
Egg and cheese croissant is my favourite and so is the brownie with chocolate sauce....
Because of the cozy ambience, one can sit here for hours with good company or a book.

Only problem...by the time you find this store, you will be in middle of the road on high traffic so it has to be planned stop otherwise you miss it..

Nice place to catch up with friends and spend time. Can sit and chill there with light snacks. I’ve been there several times. They have good iced tea and tasty hot chocolate. I also like their pastries.

With years this place seems to have lost its Good quotient but having completed by PG from Chembur this place will always hold a special place in my heart.
Visit for mid night coffee cravings when in mood to splurge. Especially during the monsoons when its worth sitting outside and listening to the rain accompanied by a game of chess or even better a friend playing guitar (yes they have all that in house) .

In the day and age of national and international coffee chains vying for a pie of the growing Indian market, Barista seems to be lost and left behind in this hyper competitive space.
I have been knowing this coffee outlet in Chembur for ages... Located very conveniently at Diamond Garden, it has great potential to do brisk business and attract crowds.
However it seems there is no seriousness about the business... The staff has a carefree attitude and lack the warmth of hospitality, some of the eatables on menu were unavailable and there is nothing much in the name of ambience.
I had to meet some friends and therefore it was decided to rendezvous at Barista. I ordered a Classic Mojito, whereas my two friends ordered Caramel Cappuccino and Cold Frappe. The drinks were strictly OK, not bad by any means, but not something you'll come back for.
Barista Lavazza have a great potential since their outlets are located at some of the best spots around Mumbai (especially this one in Chembur is wonderfully placed), however they need to improve quickly or risk the possibility of irrelevance!
The roasted hazelnut latte and the brownies seemed pretty good. Good place to hangout at late night. Ambience is okay. Needs to be a little more spacious.
So this place is opposite k-star mall. It's a old cafe , and this is the first time I visited this place.so I was excited, as we entered the ambience looks similar like cafe coffee day, the tables are also similar and also the order placing area. The music here was too low
So we ordered cafe mocha and hot chocolate , cafe mocha was very good. But the hot chocolate failed to impress.It could have been better.

Amazing mojitos and smoothies. Worth the prices. Not so good sandwiches. Would always suggest to go for desserts. At a very good location. Must visit for casual hangouts.
I usually visit starbucks and the coffee bean and tea leaf ...so this was differenr for me..i tried the honey ginger tea, it tasted quite goodm but overall ambience wise it lacked somewhere..Maybe its due to a different theme and customer base altogether.

Barista was one of the few cafes here in India in the year 2000. In fact they are the ones who started the Indian café culture.
The Barista Lavazza Espresso Bar is a welcome addition to the cute little area of Chembur, especially Diamond Garden. As usual they serve most of the popular Italian coffees experience in cool, noisy and slightly over-lit environment.
I was here with my school mate. He decided to order a Frappe and I stuck to one of my all time favourites the Iced Americano. We had a interesting conversations over a few glasses of coffee as expected.
The service is fair. The staff seems to be way too laid back and rather reserved on the lines of introversion. They need to gear up.
They also serve some delicious Cup Cakes / Muffins and Cold pressed juices. I prefer to have my coffee blank. Accompaniments or side orders with a coffee are almost a strict no.
I still feel they have much scope for innovation and improvisation with respect to the menu, decor and branding.
Couple of coffees with a few cakes would cost you 300 bucks.

It's a regular coffee house for me. The seating area is good considering it's typical coffee-house nature.
Coming to the point, the coffee here is amazing, and much levels better than Café Coffee Day, at a very small increase in rates. You'd get coffee the way you like it, with the flavor you wish to add. The quality here is second to none but Starbucks. The espresso shots here are much more aromatic than other regular coffee joints.
It's location too is extremely convenient, and it's located right in front of K-Star Mall.
Good place for long talks . But crowdy . Not proper staff . Not giving time to choice . Beverages are ok . But it's fail for bites. Chicken tikka calzone . Was so bad

One of the popular coffee places in Chembur and the oldest. This is a good place to chill and hangout with friends. Located bang on near Diamond Garden this cafe is well made. Has a decent amount of seating. A smoking area is available with 2 tables outside. Things to have here would be the Cappucino and the Latte. Frappe are also good. Another popular item is Cool Blue. Ice tea and Mojito are good options if u dont prefer coffee. Also has many food items on display. Pastries are yummy. Sandwiches and pizzas are decent. The place is self service. Staff is helpful. This is the place where the young crowd of Chembur hangs out.

Whatever I say about the place is less. It's cool, vibrant and is always a joy to return to, after a long day @work.
I never really forgave them for once giving me a hot Café Mocha (takeaway so I discovered much later) instead of a cold one, but that is old history. I love the ambiance, the crowd & the friendly service. Their recent Logo makeover stinks though, and I'm yet to see if its just this outlet's board or elsewhere too. Despite all of this, me being a coffee lover- I love this place as it serves great coffee & treats.

Blessed to have a good coffee shop near my house..Barista is open till 12 in the night so it is a good place to chit chat over a cup of coffee and unwind the day..
I love hazelnut mocha over here. Sometimes I even end up having two of those..sandwich or Sliders or puff go well with a cup of coffee. The items are decently priced however the taxes jack up the final bill..
Service is decent and location is bang on at diamond garden which not only makes it a major landmark of Chembur but also makes it super convenient for people from all 4 corners of Chembur to visit this coffee joint

Being a coffee lover, I often land in prominent coffee bars. A coffee at Barista would never disappoint you (unlike STARBUCKS). This outlet is located in pretty accessible place. The staff here is friendly and well knowledgeable about the menu. Do try their blueberry muffin with chocolate sauce!

A good happy place to relax and have a sip of your choice of coffee. Key point worth mentioning is the staffs- very friendly and always smiling making the customers feel at ease.
It is okay and mostly crowded with smokers, even after the no smoking board clear there . The coffee is good and my favourite is the hazelnut cappuccino. The chocolate excess pastry is yumm.
I love this place , it's the perfect place to just take your laptop and novel and just sit for hours and hours and ponder over a cup of coffee. There are often people playing chess or other board games , sometimes there are people singing in the patio or playing guitars. Its a place of relaxation where you can just hangout. The staff is very polite and courteous. The seating outside is a genius idea as the place gets packed on weekends .
Last minute changes in a plan land you in Barrista! Afternoon made it easier for the 4 of us to get a table, otherwise assuming it to be packed. Started with peach iced tea which was really peachy, though green apple was just fine. Barrista frappe was perfect bitter with the vanilla scoop. The chocolate excess with ice-cream made us fall in love with chocolate again. A little heavy on your pocket if only hangout is the plan!
The ambience is really sensual with those couples wallpapers hanging on the wall, whih seems gives it an ideal place for couples. We had two cold coffees Brrrista regular and Iced cafe mocha both wid vanilla toppings, which both were a delight to coffee enthusiast's like us. Just that the waiter kept on luking at the chick accompanying me, which was really irritating. I knw she is beautiful, but you just cant keep on staring at her dude....overall had a descent experience.
Barista is same every where the coffee is same, same interiors, same everything. But this place is special for me for the college days stories attached to it.
It was da first coffee shop dat came up in chembur .. it has a lot of memories. . The decor needs to be maintenened. My fav is da mango smoothie dey also have an ice cream counter hokie pokie dey also serve interesting ice cream flavors n incase u frgt to by a cake for some1s bday n realise it late at night dis is da plc dat will save u .. der is a florist close by incase u want to put a smile on some1s face with a fragrant suprise

We ordered a chocolate cake slice with ice cream and whipped cream. When paying the bill he charges me for 3 coffees and doesn't give the bill without me asking for it. Upon leaving I noticed the stupid mistake and the guy isn't ready to accept his mistake!!
Additionally, he doesn't like a good condition ₹500 note I gave him because of some stupid reason. I was able to use the same note at a different location.
Brilliant place to sit and down your coffee and work. Never disappoints. Brilliant staff and chirpy atmosphere. Have been here so many times. It's pure bliss. Try chocolate mocha and their new dishes. Don't ever try pasta here.
In the afternoons this literally is an island of calm(if you are sitting inside) where there is utter chaos out at the Diamond garden signal. It's getting a bit rundown with the interiors looking a bit haggard and in need of fresh paint, but hey still works for friends to catch up. Of all the things on their menu, here is something they don't have but will make for you - ask for any of their iced black coffee, no sugar but with a generous dash of vanilla syrup, the bittersweet flavor combo is the bomb. Service definitely has a communication gap as inspite of telling the guy 3 times not to heat my brownie, I got a plate of steaming brownie!!
Being one of the oldest coffee shops in Chembur, it remains uncompromised on its quality. I had a ginger lemon tea, which was like an icing on the cake in this monsoon.
