I will tell u first what i liked about this place
Ambience is way beyond your expectation at level 2/The way the bar has been set up is good. The seating and the way the surrounding has been done is all good.
Talking about the food being a Mangalorean i liked Ghee roast chicken/Meen pullimanji/crab curry/biryani
appam and neer dosa was not up to the mark
if you want to eat best food, this is the place to go, superb ambiance
Veg ho ya non veg, this place is Finger Licking Good
Good ambience. Located pretty close to Infiniti mall. The service was very attentive.
Loved the food. The Thai flat noodles and crispy veg in honey and chilli sauce were particularly yum.

Bhatti ka murgh masala - medium spicy gravy recommended by the waiter, tasted amazing with the garlic butter naan.
Mangalorean fish curry -
Great to have with appam. Taste was good.
For desserts we had kulfi as it was the only thing available.
Overall a good place and definitely worth visiting again.

Amongst the very famous street of Lokhandwala, Gold Fins seems to be a hidden gem.
There are so many restobars and breweries around this lane that it's hard to reach up to this restaurant.
Anyway, i wanted to have some good Indian food and hence thought to try out this place.
Here's what i had for lunch:
1) Appetizer: Chicken In Black Pepper Sauce
This happens to be my favorite starter and wherever i go, i always try this. It was good as expected. It had subtle hints of spicyness. Rest, the black pepper sauce always does it's trick. If you don't like black pepper, there's always a lot of range of sauces available with these guys. Do ask them for variations and have a great time.
2) Appetizer: Prawns
Now i am not a fan of Prawns. My friends had it. They just asked for prawns but not to be deep fried. They were made well and the red gravy is what did the trick. This went well in favor of them. They found it okayish. We initially had asked for squids but due to unavailability, we settled for prawns.
3) Chicken Dum Biryani:
Yes. This was the standout dish. The chicken was cooked well. It was tender and the rice too played its part well. The raita was beautifully prepared with just curd, onion and cucumber. It was satisfying.
For what it's worth, they have good quantity served. One dish will easily fill two stomachs. Each and every dish was tasty. I would suggest this place to all those who like North Indian food and coastal too. The variations I saw in the menu would make any sea food lover go ga-ga!
And yes, not to forget they do serve drinks, that too at a cheaper price range as compared to other restobars on the lane.
This lane of Lokhandwala has lot of pizza, beer and appetizer places. Very few have north Indian and coastal food. So it's good to know this place is open for all of us!

A perfect place for a family dinner! Serene ambience, light music, good lighting, vigilant staff and amazing food. The butter garlic prawns are to die for! The sauce is just too good. So is the paneer chilly! The Dal makhani has a rich Punjabi flavour to it and the rotis and naans are extremely soft! The mojito is a must try! Overall, a really good place but slightly expensive.

Nothing fancy, but great food. The quality of food is well maintained. The taste is exceptional. The variety available is enormous. It's one my family's favourite dinner spot. The flavours are sharp, should definitely try the place out.
Comfortable, quick service, affordably priced drinks. Indoasian menu . Portions are just about adequate. Quality of food is ok. We tried Tandoori Chicken half portion, was a bit spicy. Pomfret tawa masala gravy was not too spicy they make it as you desire. Their Manchow Chicken soup was ok. Will go again to try some more seafood. Was there for a short while and we were in a hurry to finish.
Went here for lunch with my family. Was very impressed. There was an offer going on here - Meal for 2, which is very reasonably priced and had a lot of variety to choose from !!!!
So i would describe this place as under:
Food : Very good quality. Everything from the wonton soup to the chicken pahadi to the rotis n jeera rice, everything cooked well n of correct flavours.
Service : No delays and quick service. They would not let our glasses or our plates stay empty..so grt.
Ambience : Its not very fancy but it is good looking.
Prices : Its fine dining with reasonable price tags on the menu. Who doesn't like that?
Overall experience : I would go to this place again!!👍

Amazing line of starters to choose from for vegetarians. This restaurant is in close proximity to punjab grill but it surely giving a tough competition when it comes to Indian Cuisine.
Though i am little disappointed with the level of service . The restaurant tends to slow down when its a full house and managing guests during peak hours becomes difficult . It has ample seating capacity and valet service too.
Visited this place two times.. the first time I visited with my family.. The menu is well constructed and the food was pretty good.. was a bit disappointed the second time as I felt the quality of the food had reduced.. overall a decent experience

The food... Looks amazing and taste delicious..

The drink... OMG... The drinks.. Is cheap.. I just started my career so can't spend much on dinners and drinks outside. But this place the liquor is really very cheap and more over they have a lot of varieties and all the rates are really good and dont mind coming often knowing it's rates. I would rate a 5/5 for the rates and variety of liquor
The place is really a classy place.. Its good for family dinner, chilling with friends especially working folks like me over the weekend..
And last... The service is really really good... 👍...And the staff too are very polite..

Always avoided going to this place for reasons unknown.
After my daughter visited it with friends, decided to try it out.
Nice, spacious though the service was haphazard with server having little knowledge - probably we were early, because then it started getting crowded and the knowledge, service improved dramatically.
The best part is the booze quotient. The price is literally gymkhana prices.
We tried a couple of starters - veg only - kebab, corn roll and were quite delicious. Then ordered dal khichdi which was very good. Though the raita and papads made their way much later.
A plate of Gulab jamun ended it. But the manager shared that the non veg was why people came here and particularly for sea food. And of course the drinks.
Given the price of drinks surprisingly it was mostly family crowd on a Wednesday.
Worth another shot with non veg eating friends.

Ever since goldfins opened in the neighbourhood i heaved a sigh of relief..for long, andheri west did not own any regular,affordable sea food joints.so was i eager to taste their food..and since then there has been many visits and used their home delivery options too..in terms of the ambience its huge and spacious spanning two floors.but it falls into the category of regular affordable restaurants, hence for that tag, the interiors are not extradorinary but decent..the manager is always at your service to help you with your orders.they also twik their ingredients to make a special dish at times.here my review is limited only to seafood for i havent trally tried their pan asian or indian cusine..so not sure of how that part of the cusine tastes..for me , i have tasted almost all their varied seafood dishes which vary from manglorean to kerela to goan curries..prawns pulimunchi, allepey chicken, goan fish curry or anything else, the manager actually explains you the difference in their style of cusine depending on the taste you prefer.with neer dosa and appam they are just perfect..i havent had any complains so far..the bombil fry are worth their price and yummy too..so is their soul kad. i am glad i have a decent seafood restaurant in the neighbourhood.but yes, its more of a fine dining restaurant for family outings ..if seafood is what is your priority this definetely is the place..but if its an outing with friends for food and drinks, then you might want to give it a miss.Gold Fins

Great place to visit especially for the sea food like the name suggests. The staff is polite and good at suggestions. We tried the ghee roast prawns which were aromatic and delicious. After that we had the fish in five spice sauce and egg fried rice, both dishes were a treat to the eyes and the stomach. Would definitely come back to try more dishes.

Had a family dinner on my parents wedding anniversary at Gold Fins. Its located at just in opposite lane of Infinity mall andheri.
Ambience is perfect for family dining restaurant. Bright decor, soothing music and great hospitality. The seating is quite comfortable. They have ground plus first floor seating arrangenment which is quite huge and spacious.
Now, coming to the food, sea food is their speciality. They also serves North Indian and Chinese dishes but main focus is on sea food. Being a sea food lover, I just stick to my basics and didn't try any new thing. But, food doesnt disappointed me. I have ordered Stuffed Bombil, Fish Finger, Malwani Fish Curry , Goan Fish Curry and Bhatti Ka Murg Masala with Rotis and Neer Dosas. The food wad totally lipsmacking and mouth watering. Almost whatever I oedered was so tasty and delicious, no scope of complain in that.
Service was quite decent. The people are helpful and friendly. Overall, recommended place for family outings. Food is aptly priced and if you are sea food lover dont miss this place.

Had a family lunch at Gold fins today afternoon at lokhandwala , Was bit dissapointed by the fact there is very limited choice in sea food or coastal food variety especially in Manglorean and Malwani cusines .They have got a concept of coastal + pan asian kind of fare.Overall the food , ambience and service was good and decent .But would like to have more variety to be added in Manglorean and Seafood cuisines, if truely Gold fins wants to be an competition for the regular sea food restaurants in suburbs.

This restaurant is located in opposite lane of infinity mall , Andheri. I have been here once and my experience was quite good. We were almost 12 - 14 people and we had gone for lunch on Sunday. The restaurant is pretty spacious with adequate seating on ground and 1st floor. The service is quite decent. This place is known for its sea food. They do offer Chinese and north indian but they primarily focus on sea food dishes. First we ordered solkadi which was really delicious and it had that typical malvani flavor. For starters we tried prawns koliwada which was superb. Almost everything we ordered was pretty tasty and didn't disappoint us. Do try neer dosa and appam which is something different and you won't find this in every restaurant. The dishes are fairly priced and if you are a sea food lover then you should really visit this place.

Gold fins is a relatively new place in the lane opposite Infiniti. Primarily a seafood restaurant also offering Chinese and Indian cuisine, but seafood love left no place for the latter two. The place is pretty huge with seating on ground and first floor. We made ourselves comfortable on the first floor where it's pretty spaced out. The ambience is perfect for a good quiet evening.
The 1st orders were Solkadi and Kokam ras. Solkadi was well made with perfect consistency. Kokam ras was this sour and salty juice that works well as a palate cleanser. We ordered Bombil Fry and Basa Fish fingers for starters. Although Bombil was crispy and fresh, 4 tiny pieces seems a little too less. As I tried to slowly devour whatever tiny piece of Bombil was left on my plate, a plate of hot and crispy fish fingers arrived at our table. These were good, thick 8-9 pieces of fried goodness that disappeared in no time.
Upon staff's recommendations, we ordered Pomfret Ghassi. The Manglorean style gravy was well made and went well with the Neer Dosa and Appams that we ordered. Yes I know Neer Dosa is supposed to be light but that gossamer like rice crepe was so thin that it gave way under gravity. I did enjoy my Appam although I would like mine a little more cooked. Surmai Tawa fry was this ginormous piece of fish cooked in lovely Tamarind juice. (Read mouth still watering). Fish curry without rice is just incomplete and again here the staff recommended we go for Kolam rice instead of the usual Basmati. Combination worked well.
A very filling meal in the end. Also the prices are pretty good for such a place. Hope to visit this place again soon.
It was time for our annual diwali lunch and as the family is a sea food fan, we decided to visit this place. Zomato lists it under super sea food and rightly so. We ordered crab meat soup and three treasure sea food soup, both very tasty with essential sea food flavour. For starters, it was pomfret tandoori, surmai tandoori and lobster chilly. All lip smacking. For main we ordered manglorian style sukha chicken, chicken curry and goan prawns curry with appam and neer dosas...a combination that can never go wrong :) Even though we were full after this scrumptious meal, we could not give a miss to the desserts. We ordered caramel custard and chocolate brownie with chocolate ice cream ( they were out of vanilla ice cream). They server the brownie in a glass with chocolate syrup poured on it...not our usual hot sizzling brownie, nevertheless it was delicious. So was the caramel custard, soft and gooey, just as it should be. Overall a very good place, specially for sea food lovers.

You guys have a good place and a good guest relationship manager. But one thing you need to work on is the main course coastal chicken dishes. All of them look and taste the same. Once you do that you will have an Awesome place.

If you have not been there then you have missed out some delicious food. The tandoori fish, the crab soup all worth and all tasty. The pot rice and noodles are also good.

Good food and good ambience. We called for a soup and a starter. the soup was quite spicy but the chicken starter was quite delicious. We called for butter chicken in main course and it was just ok. Kulfi and gulab jamun in desserts were really very good. The service is quick.
So D and me found a new favorite restaurant for coastal cuisine. Couple of things I would like to mention:
1. Friendly, attentive and helpful staff: They're not only there at your beck and call but they come to help without even calling. extremely polite and very quick on their feet. probably one of the best staff teams i've seen at a restaurant.
2. The Food: We absolutely loved the chicken ghee roast which has been our favorite over the years. we paired this with soft neer dosa. both are a MUST TRY! their kundapur chicken curry was very flavorful and the surmai masala fry was good too.
3. Ambiance: EXTREMELY CLEAN! very spacious and beautifully lit.
We have already been here twice and will continue to visit the place again. Would i recommend it? MOST DEFINITELY!

Visited the place last night with my family. I am thoroughly taken back by the food I ate there. Order a spread of fish, chicken and paneer and I cannot pick out one dish that was not perfect. Loved the food, ambience, staff's courtesy. Everything was perfect. Will definitely be visiting it again.
I came with my close friends for dinner and I must say that this place is a good combination of nice ambience and great food. Good food menu- right from the starters, appetizers, main course. The food taste that would suit any ones pallete. Definitely would recommend this to people I know.

Gold fins is actually a veryyyy underrated place. I found this place on groupon and took a coupon of non veg first but then believe me I have visited this restaurant so many times the waiters practically know me.

Service.. Won't say its ultra fast but its not slow either. They take their time and get nice food. The people constantly ask how is the food which is good but gets on very awkwardish if asked like 3 times which happened to me.. So negative there.

Finally a place to go with family .been here twice . It's a proper dining restaurant . split in two levels. On first floor there is a huge giant TV screen perfect to catch some sports . there is lot of family crowd . The cusinse is coastal,mughlai and Chinese . I love their manglorean fish curry , chicken ghee roast . love their chicken nawabi kebabs. This place reminds me of Mahesh lunch home and harish . they serve drinks as well .
Went here today thinking it was a fine dining place..which it is but it was so crowded and noisy that it almost pissed me off..but none the less I enjoyed the food..the Thai curry with pomfret was good..so were the squid rawa fry and the bombil bhajiyas..their kokam raas masala was superb..in all a good place but the staff needs to be attentive and well versed with the menu.

I had heard a lot about this newly opened restaurant serving mainly coastal cuisine though they do serve limited north Indian and Chinese cuisine as well. The place has been done up quite well. Good ambience. The alcohol rates are fairly lower than other restaurants. Quite surprising. Food was good though nothing to really swear by. The portions were very good and filling. We tried the manglorian chicken curry with neer dosa. It was quite edible. The crispy aloo potatoes in starters was good. Dal khichdi was nice. Over all service was nice as the place was not full. It's worth a visit if you have the palette for coastal food. May visit once more after few months. It's quite pocket friendly as of now. Worth a try. There is a lot of scope for improvisation if few more dishes can be added for starters to go with drinks and some more north Indian dishes added to serve those who don't enjoy more of non veg or coastal food.

Went there today at 11pm with the Groupon 699 sea food coupon. The place has a nice ambience with a projector screen showing hockey match. The Groupon seafood coupon for 2 ppl has the following menu - 2 complimentary juices - Solkadi, choose 1 seafood starter from menu, 1 seafood main course from menu, unlimited neer dosa (1plate has 4pieces), 1 plate kollam rice, 2 desserts ( 1 plate malai kulfi and 1 gulab jamoon).
Coming to the food,it was quite good. Ordered Prawns ghee roast extra as starter n it was awesome. Got 1 starter from groupon coupon as coastal fish. It was good too but found few bones in it. In main course ordered malwani fish n bhatti ka chicken extra.. Yaa we eat a lot! 😜 Both main course dishes were great n neer dosa n kollam rice was served as part of the coupon deal. Fish dishes had few bones maybe because they were not removed properly, so be careful while eating. In desert we got 1 plate kulfi n 1 piece gulab jamoon. Kulfi was good, gulab jamoon was ok ok. Overall groupon coupon deal n the food makes this a great combination!!

They had almost every imaginable sea food item up for grabs on their menu which any sea food lover will relinquish.

We tried the Solkadi which was just rightly done with the right amount of tangyness and balance in flavour to suit our tastes.
A must try dish at this place will be the Bombil Bhajiyas which was crunchy as well as garnished well with greens.
Ordered Appams, Neer Dosa, Plain Rice and Malwani Fish Curry. They let you choose the fish you want for the fish curry depending on the days catch.
None of the items disappointed with the Malwani Fish Curry emerging as my new favourite in the Sea Food platter.

Pricing is pretty right, especially at the locality and the service they offer.

Gold Fins is a great place to bring your family and have dinner! The food and drinks are good but it's definitely not a place to go and chill at with your friends! It caters more to family for sure! Great ambience and service and the fish here is to die for! They have specials on beer and wine even on a weekend and there isn't a cut off time for the specials either!

After a wholesome lunch I am amazed at a few negative reviews I read here. This place and the staff are as warm as it gets. Very good ambiance too.
Coming to the food, we had coastal/mangalorean cuisine on our minds so tried the basa tawa fry, chicken ghee roast and prawn pulli munchi with neer dosa. Food was piping hot and very good to taste. The pricing was very apt for this kind of a place.
Definitely coming back here to savour some more with or without the rains.

I went here with family who have different tastes - my husband likes pan Asian, parents like north Indian and there are lovers for coaster food as well. The restaurant satisfied us all!
We started with tomato soup - very good, garlic soup - also good and chicken hot n sour which was a little too spicy for my husband but okay for me. The food overall was spicy so if you're someone who prefers less spicy better u mention it.
Masala papad- the usual, nothing special but nothing wrong either. Chicken starter we ordered was a bit spicy but paneer chilly and basil was brilliant! Absolutely melting paneer and amazing sauces. The fish pepper fry was also delicious - loved the spices used - and fish was perfectly cooked, albeit not boneless since this preparation is usually with bones.
For main course, I highly recommend yellow dal if you're a north Indian fan alongwith paneer kulcha. We also ordered pot rice with chicken and I'm surely ordering it again for home deliveries as well. I highly recommend fish in lemon preparation - loved it.
The service was great too - there was one waiter looking after us at all times. The manager also followed up on the food, which was great.

Great food and friendly staff. Tried both the seafood and indian fare. The Manglorean prawn curry is enough for 2 people. Had the mutton bhuna and butter chicken which were both good. Definately going back.
New restaurant in the vicinity ! Very reasonably priced . The ambience is very serene . The hospitality of the staff is wow and the senior staff as well is very interactive in suggesting dishes for a fulfilling meal . Food quantity is good and while leaving the premise the staff telling u good bye thank you for visiting us is hospitality that u get to experience in 4 & 5 star restaurants . Overall more than satisfactory level of service and food .
Excellent place explored.. love the food.. ordered Pan Asian Cuisine..I am in love with the coriander crab soup.. yummy!!!.. The service is good and the waiters are friendly.. A must try for family dinners...

Knew about the place on Groupon offers & was excited to visit there; however we were earlier a bit skeptical after reading few -ve reviews, but I was glad we still ignored them & visited them.
about the PLACE: it has an Awesome Ambience... Sophisticated Interiors.. Perfect to make your evening - a wonderful one.. It has 2 levels, We were taken to 1st floor, which is bigger than Gr. floor..... Blue-Glassed-Drinking-Water-Bottle on each table seems to be their signature... Good crockery.. Clean, Neat, Hygiene... (5 out of 5).

about the STAFF: At the entrance you'll be welcomed with a female staff who will take you to your dining / reserved table. Once you're there a butler / Manager / Table boy / Service boy - all were very courteous & right on their feet to serve you. Everyone wears smile on their lips while attending you.. After serving each & every time they will come to check with you how do you feel about the food, if all is well etc... (Also Most of the staff knows to operate your mobile camera & will click pics for u, so that u dont have to rely selfies..:) ...)
about the FOOD: We had Groupon Meal for 2 menu to choose from, but its a vide variety of dishes from which u can select upon.. We are PURE VEG. We ordered Veg. Manchow Soup; it was nice (4 out of 5). Then for starters - they themselves suggested BHUTTE AUR CHEESE KE SEEKH KABABS.. i must say it was Exceptional (5 out of 5).. You get 4-5 types of diff sauses/dips to vary taste..
For main-course, we ordered DIWANI HANDI - nicely cooked vegetables, mild in taste... we forgot to tell him about "avoiding muhsrooms" but thats ok.. (4 out of 5)... KULCHA's & ROTI's were fine as normal, but I was surprised No nutter on it, might be not incl in offer.. Don't try Lachhedar Paratha.. JEERA RICE & DAL TADKA - Right taste, not so spicy (5 out of 5)-
about the DEESERTS: we ordered Gulab Jamun & Pista Kulfi.. both were nice... but Gulab Jamun was awesome, hot & spongy...
about FOOD QUANTITY: I wonder why few people felt that quantity wasn't good. We found that the quantity was all okay - usual as per other restaurants.. Soup was easily filling 1-by-2 .. Starters had 6 medium sized pcs.. Main Course Vegetable was enuf.. Rice & Dal were more than enuf for two people... Ignore all -ve comments on quantity from other ppl, trust me, you wont find it low.
about PRICING: since we went thru GROUPON offer, its a steal of all times.. however even if you go without the offer, its still not over-priced.. The overall experience is worth paying.
about the MANAGEMENT: the same Mgmt which runs GREENS (Link Rd Malad) & KAILASH PARBAT (Inorbit mall) - well versed with the business & customer satisfaction..
At many places I've given ratings as 4 out of 5 - not bcz it wasn't that good but only because there is always a room for improvement.. All the best guys. you are doing a nice job... CHEERS

Found this place in a list of new restaurant..and decided to try it out when another one on the list was shut.. N I am glad I did! Located next to mainland China in Andheri, This place has Chinese, north Indian and coastal cuisine ... Out of which coastal seemed the most promising !
We started off with butter garlic squids and stuffed bombil recommended by the manager which were quite delicious.
Next came sukka mutton, crabs curry and prawn manglorean curry accompanied with neer dosa and appam.
Each dish had its own unique flavour and was a burst of awesomeness.. Each bite was filled with amazing spices along with 4-5 kinds of chutneys.
A chilled glass of Sol kadi completed this extravagant meal for 2!
The portion size is small but this gives you an option to try more dishes in a single meal.
All in all it was a perfect Sunday brunch. Places like Gajalee and mahesh lunch hone sure have one hell of a competition!
Tip: do not eat breakfast before you come here..u might regret it!
Well this new joint is somewhat similar to Mahesh Lunch Home but the price and value for money is hero over here had 3 drinks 3 seafood starter and 1 seafood main course with rice and Bill just rounded upto 2000 that's pretty awesome. Food was tasty service was even more better.
I Recommend clam chilli fry and stuff bombil.
Suggestion to Restaurant
Some of the Fish I felt wasn't fresh, so please guys buck up you have long way to go.

Premium Sea Food Restaurant in Andheri around Lokhandwala is here, Fine dining place, and of course brand new.
Too good food, but being a foody and maharashtrian and also a bombayite since birth and after eating various sea food meals at various malwani & maglorean small time restaurants I find the quantity was VERY LESSSSS...when it comes to sea food we love eating the fishes & curries with rotis and rice in loads but here that meal would cost atleast 2500 for 2 persons..haha.
We went there for executive lunch meal in simple words Thali..;) ..but being saturday we missed it and ordered 2 manglorean styled
chicken ghee roast and
manglorean ravas curry with naan,roti & rice..
Rs. 1100.00 for 2 persons was decent for a fine dining place. (just like Mahesh & Gajalee)
If i wanna spend high and drool on ambience then I'd definitely come here again or I better stick to my budgeted ones Gomantaks, Moderns, Sandeep, Harish Lunch Homes..everywhere in bombay
Lovely place, superb service n delicious food, I have been with my son, tried bombil n pomfret both were well done, staff was courteous n prompt. A place full of ambience and perfect to cherish your time with your loved ones.
Cheap and Bloody damn good, That's the best way of explaining this place. One of the cheapest alcohol rates i have ever see in Mumbai. If you wanna just knock over a few drinks after work, you should seriously consider this.
Staff was courteous, we took a package of 799/- (meal for 2), cheese ball starter was good, they served dessert which was okay, the overall ambience is soothing.
Nice place.. booze is quite reasonable .. food are a bit on higher price..
