This small place in Chembur has built quite a reputation for good food. I tried the white chicken tandoori which was unique and really nice. Also ordered the butter chicken, which was different thought I didn't like it much. Service was really slow and inefficient and it took a lot of time to get our food . Just rated 3.5 because of its service, thefood was too good and tasty. But the service was too slow and order takes minimum half_n_hour too arrive at your table. Grilled house is very famous for home delivery. It is a small minuscule place in the narrow streets of Chembur. Tried mutton which I thought was a little undercooked however the gravy was very yummy.

All my stars are for the Triple Schezwan Rice. Generally order veg, its just sublime. Extremely spicy just how i like it. The paneer sesame schezwan also is very good.

This is an Old joint on Chembur.. before Chembur Gymkhana. They have recently renovated the place so you can sit inside comfortably.. but i have always preferred take away. Nothing surprises you more than this modest homely Punjabi cafe, definitely not its name.
Clad in simple walls, plain furniture and a few landscapes, Grilled House pleases the eye with its simplicity.
Although it's more of a parcel pickup joint, they have seating space for 20. Their menu is impressive, with salads, starters, main course and Desi Chinese. However, it is the ‘Tandoor’ and 'Punjabi food' sections of the menu that grab one’s attention.
Keeping with global trends of going authentic in an area like Chembur where you hardly get real Punjabi food and retaining local, the menu leans towards pleasing the vegetarian palate as well as the non-vegetarian.
I would recommend the Chicken Malai Kebab, Chicken Reshmi Kebab, Chicken Green Tandoori, Veg Pahari Kebab and Hara Bhara Kebab for starters.
Next up we talk about the main course. You cannot miss the Mutton Bhuna, Tawa Mutton, Mutton Keema Masala and Chicken Momtaz.
The Butter Chicken is prepared in the traditional Ludhiana style which is less creamy yet delicious.
A big meal for two with starters and coke would cost you 1000 bucks. Value for money!

Being in chembur I crossed this place hundreds of time. So one evening when I was nearby this place decided to take parcel some food.
This is a small place in chembur located few minutes from chembur station. The staff is not attentive and the owner also doesn't look to care much.
After getting their attention I ordered chicken malai tikka and fish tikka. The quantity of both items is less compared to their prices. But the quality was good. The chicken pieces were so nice and soft. Also the fish tikka was made perfect.
Worth a try place.
Grilled house has been around for a while now. Largely popular for its home deliveries and rightly so ; as the staff is slow and inattentive and the restaurant is tiny. Hygiene is not reliable either. What allows grilled house to thrive is the taste of the food. The dine-in experience is disappointing and not value for money. Delivery takes a long time too. So your best option is a take away. They serve up some really nice north indian food especially the Hitler kabab, reshmi tikka, butter chicken and family chicken. In Chinese their chicken crispy is well coated and crunchy. It happens to be my favorite. Worth a try. Overall only the food is good.

I must admit that Grilled House was not my first choice when I was in Chembur last Saturday and looked up Zomato for help with lunching options. The high ratings of 'The Desi Twist' led our growling stomachs to it, only to find it closed for a reason which their building watchman couldn't explain. Tired and hungry, we walked a few metres ahead wondering where to go and thats when we stumbled upon Grilled House.
This small place (just 6 small tables) with modest interiors did not help in any way to build our expectations on what our dining experience would be. But what followed was nothing short of a surprise to all of us!
We called for Veg Makhanwala, as they said that it could be made quickly as compared to their various Grilled /tikka preparations. (Yes, I know the place is 'Grilled House' but that day we were in no mood and were too impatient to wait for specialities!) Surprisingly, the vegetable turned out to be really well made, almost as good as any 4 star restaurant would have done it. The Rotis were super soft too, so much that the rice-preferring person in me called for another one. The Garlic Naan was nice as well. One of us called for Sweet corn soup which was pretty thick and little bland initially, but we developed its taste gradually.
The fragrance and look of the Biryani, which had been ordered by the diners sitting at the table behind had me salivating! Looked that Good!
I can't wait to try that as well as their other grilled stuff the next time I'm at Chembur. And that, I assure, would be a planned first option for dining! Looking forward!

I have visited Grilled House many times. In chembur there are a number of Pure Vegetarian Hotels, one of the reason why is this a Favourite Hotel of all the Non veg lovers in Chembur. The soups are good, Malai Kebab is highly recommended. Lollypop was really good. Triple Rice N Biryanis are my favourite dishes over here. Pepsi was Chilled :P
I have never been to this place, but looking at the reviews I had ordered for food from here once and now this is like an alternative every time.
So far, the dishes that I have tried out here have always tasted good and it had never disappointed me. This is one of the best places in Chembur, you can order from if you are craving for North Indian food. My favourites here are reshmi kabab, chicken achari for starters and for the main course I always prefer chicken kadhai. The only complain that I have about this place is it takes really long for them to deliver food, I hope that they improve in that section. All in all a decent place to have good food at a very affordable price.

This was honestly a "Zomato find".. Tucked away neatly inside a small lane off Central Avenue in Chembur, you can't be blamed for missing it and denying its existence all through your stay in this suburb. However, the food here is excellent (especially the kebabs). A must try is also any chicken dish with lahsoon parathas. The space here is limited - there are not more than 5 tables - so prepare yourself to wait for some time on weekends. The wait will be worth it - and not to mention, on your pocket too (dirt cheap is the word I was looking for).

I haven't really been to this place but then since I'm more keen on exploring all the restaurants in my neighbourhood i hit on to this one today, a Sunday afternoon! Just cause I didn't want kebabs and chicken typically from our very own lamba I already had my options open and that's the grilled house!
Since I was so confused what to order I called up grilled house and asked them about each and every dish from what gravy it is to how spicy would it be to everything, I'm sure I pretty much checked out the entire menu over the phone with the guy from the restaurant, he was so patient that he told me everything I questioned
So then I ordered malai kebab, Reshmi kebab and butter chicken!
After the order was placed, it's hard to believe that it came within 30 minutes!
When I opened the food parcel I was delighted to look that how well everything was garnished, it was just too good, when I served myself and started eating I was on could 9 the food completely made up for how well and tasty it looked! The chicken kebabs were.. Were.. So soft and moist retaining all the flavours so so well that each time I ate a bite I would be highly ecstatic and just go on eating and eating and not stoping
The butter chicken was so good not too sweet all the spices and flavours and masalas were just puurr-fect
Also the salad they have with the order was exceptional and mouth watering added with the super tasty green chutney
Words aren't even enough to mention how good the food was until you go and explore this place

After so much heard form my new friend from the building and as I had owe them a Party.
I had been asked to give party over this place.
The place is very near to the Ambedkar Garden in chembur.
Restaurant is not in the Main street so may be you’ll need the directions to the place.
We had been at the 10pm of the Sunday evening we expected the waiting. This place is quite small has capacity of 20-25 people to dine in at the same time.
But the place has more outgoing in a Home silvery or the takeaway for home rather than the Dine in.
Seating arrangement is also quite clumsy only 4 people on the table may be 5 if you can adjust.We were 6 so he moved tables and modified the seating arrangement.
The place is known for its all tandoor preparation and Indian stuff.Menu is quite simple not big menus with many dishes.We had ordered the Dilkhush kabab and Malai Kebab; both wore so delicious tender cooked to perfection with the Salad and mint chutney.
I liked the salad and the Mint chutney both was freshly prepared.Both above are the must have items here.
Then we ordered the main course that is Family Chicken and Chicken bhuna with 12+6 roties.Family chicken is actually a Family dish it serves the 4-5 People and Chicken bhuna is also good in quantity can serve 2 max to 3 persons.
Family chicken has its own kind of unique taste so its must try here.Chicken Bhuna you can find better at other places as well.Roti is also good in size.All and all everything is tasty and nicely prepared.

Don't expect the Quick and good service there is many regular customers of this place who mostly order fro take away or family delivery.
Most of the business is come on delivery and take away and that's why the order has changes to get delayed to serve or to deliver.
Place is not a fine dine and not good at decor as well.
Not good crockery or plates to fancy you up they only knows best quality quantity and tasty food as serving.Place gets busy by 7 and keeps up till 11.30 pm.So keep in mind when you go for dine in here.
At the end most important is how much it burn your pocket; so let me tell you; its very pocket friendly restaurant I have visited when I compared the taste.Cause for 6 people: - 2 starters + 2 Main course Dishes + 12+6 Roties + Mineral water cost me around 1350 Bucks. I mean for party who don’t want such place.
So all is go go or order order place it’s. Preferred is take away or Home delivery.

After reading some really good reviews and ratings, we finally decided to visit this place, and were not disappointed at all. We started off with Hunter kebab. Its was delicious, the chicken cooked just right. This was followed by fish koliwada ( Rawas fry ) , which was equally good.
We finished our dinner with a final order of Chicken Manchurian rice.
The quality and quantity of the food is good and pocket friendly too.

Its indeed a meat lovers paradise...just don't go by the size of the place as it has a full fledged menu right from starters soups grilled items to curries, biryanis, choice of pulao and a decent offerings with variety of Indian bread.
Pro tip: apart from the regular famous chef recommended items, do try their ajwain roti..an amazing take on the regular roti which is more flavourful and goes so well with the kebabs.
The food is soo delicious that uh cant just get over it. I just really loved the food. We had odered the chicken thing which was the very famous dilkush kebab and chicken lolipop. It is really great to have something worth to your money. The ambince is ohk not that great but the food and the taste of the food is really overwhelmeing. Its really a good place to have food and mostly the northen dishes. The services were great. A chilled place to hangout with friends and family too. And a perfect place for non veg lover. And dont forget to order the Amritsari chicken it will really gaze your mind.

Best Grill in the whole locality of Chembur might be best in whole Mumbai too! The taste never changes no matter how many times we order. Many people complained about the time they took to deliver but I Don't think its too much by comparing it to the end product I can say only one thing: Great things take time to make!

Amazing food! I never liked butter chicken before but their's blew my mind and that's saying something. There's that amazing smokey flavor in all their dishes. Their Biryani is among the best I've ever had. And tandoori you'll fall in love with!
Have been occasional visitor. They serve good taste food. Chinese and Grill are preferred. It's near to railway station. Area is small but convenient. Mostly they deliver parcel. Wait time is more so it's better to parcel.

The food was awesome but I felt rate is slightly higher considering the hotel cleanliness, quality of dinning arrangements, etc. Also, they take little longer time to serve our orders....
