After a night stroll along the beach and a stomach full of vada pav, pav bhaji and gol gappe, we were gonna catch a cab when suddenly we decided ke kuch meetha ho jae. Being the nearest outlet to the exit. We decided to try some ice cream here.
Ambience : the classic chowpatty ambience. Lots of people around and a lot of cats as well. It is a very lively place. If you are a fun loving person, you will definitely like it here.
Food: we ordered a malai kulfi and two chocodip almond belgian ice cream cones. Both the dishes were really good. The kulfi was tasting like real malai and not jhst flavored. The belgian cones were blockbusters. Some of the best ice cream i have ever had. Absolutely delicious.
Service : it is an open air stall. Seating is provided on the boundary wall of the food court. So nothing much about service. They however have staff that markets them moving around, all the stalls do which sometimes is very annoying but other than that all good.
Cost: the menu might look to you as an inflated price pamphlet. We also had our doubts while ordering, but it worth every single penny. After eating i was satisfied with value for money.
Overall: great impression. Will visit again for food and ambience.

So today we ordered kalakhatta gola,mix gola,raspberry gola, chocolate milkmaid gola,best gola I ever had was here. The price range are very cheap.As well as the taste is very good,And they displayed rabdi mugs which was attractive and eyecatchy.It was super amazing.

I went there with family everyone enjoyed Kala Khatta and Harsh Babu Love's Orange yummy Gola
This place just blew my mind! Craving for a good chocolate ice-cream I ended up ordering Roasted Almond Chocolate Ice-cream with Hot Chocolate Sauce. I didn't expect what I got.
The first bite itself had opened up my senses. With each bite there were more than enough chunks of roasted almond which lasted till the last bite, same amount in each and every bite which made it more than enjoyable for me.
A must have!
Great place to have a sweet dish. People having a sweet tooth should definitely crash here . They have variety of sweet which can make the evening with that view more worth the trip!
Nice place ..I visit here whenever I go to the beach . Place serves varieties of ice-creams , Golas, and faloodas. It's a good place to enjoy some lip smacking and tangy Golas after a tiresome and enjoying troll on the beach .
My personal favourite is a mix of orange and kalakhatta in Golas.
Staff is good , attentive and knows whats on offer. Prices are good compared to the location . Do check it out when you visit there

Tried Gola here on my first visit to this chowpaty, Also had Gola after a very very long time.
The gola i had was Kalakhatta, Rose and kacchi kairi (Raw Mango) flavored one. They also provide extra syrup to dip it again in those flavours, Absolutely loved it.
Will visit this place again when back to this area and try other items also.
After eating tasty food having mast wala desert and super duper sweets does any foodie want anything else ?๐ค obviously yes!! a foodie never stops neither is tummy gets satisfied anytime ๐คฃ so here is the Falooda Kulfi most tasty and really it's first spoon made me like boss! what a taste? really can't resist to eat one by one different flavours of the stall. Jai Jawan Stall Chowpatty has so many things to present that it would take my whole week to taste whatever they had and definetly each of will be more and more tasty than what had before that. Falooda with kulfi insdie with that tasty essence put into it and nourished with dry fruits and at last a big wow of mouth what else any one wants ๐. Must visit ๐
We really love the Faloodas here out of so many food stalls in Girgaon Chowpatty.
My favs are all golas here and Special Paan masala kulfi Falooda. This pan falooda is definitely a must try if you are at this place. I love the chocolate falooda as well. Would love to try more faloodas next time.

One of the best and most genuine icecream at this price range!!! There is slight compromise on quantity due to these being economical but the taste is great! It's winter right now and nobody from our stall-hopping squad wanted to taste the 'Chowpatty-ka-Gola'. I insisted on having a plate or two of these icecreams as I had tried the Rabdi Kulfis before and it was excellent! Cost: Rs.100
We went for two types. The first was a Chocolate Kulfi with Roasted almond which was topped with yummy chocolate syrup. The icecream felt genuine with the sweet kulfis compensating for the slightly sour syrup giving great taste. The soft and snowy texture of the icecream was made crunchy by the almonds toppings!
The Mix kulfi consisted of five flavours (which tasted completely natural) that were Pista, Chikoo, Mango, Orange and Strawberry. The icecream was totally flavoury and had the complete essense of these fruits. Cost: Rs.50
Overall, this stall was my favourite in all our stall hoppings, I'm going with a 4 out of 5 for Jai Jawan stall, taking out one mark just for the slight dearth in quantity. This is one of those desserts chowpatty visitors shouldn't miss!

In girgaon chowpatty, you will find lots of food joints clustered in left side of beach. From pav bhaji to bhel puris, all fast food dishes are available. There are many ice cream, kulfi and gola outlets too and Jai Jawan stall is one of them. You can easily search the outlet. They serve many different flavours of ice creams, kulfi faloodas and golas.
I visited the outlet with my cousin and tried following desserts -
Sitaphal kulfi with falooda - Since it was sitaphal fruit season, we decided to try same flavour kulfi with falooda, it was somewhat similar to malai kulfi as sitaphal taste was too mild.
Pista kulfi falooda - It was served in glass with milk, pista flavour kulfi, sabza. It was very delicious. Pista flavour was distinct and milk with sabza was also great to drink. It is a must try.
Taste - 4/5
Ambience - 4/5 (near beach, so can't ask for more)
Service - 4/5 (it was quickly served)
Value for money - 4/5

One of the best Golas ever had. As a Mumbaikar we are always fond of street foods. Since childhood I have always loved Golas. This place will remind you about your childhood by serving gola in a stick as per your request. The place is quite expensive but it is hyginic. Their faloodas are also good. Overall experience was good and would love to go back again. Try alphanso mango gola and Royal falooda

This is my place favourite place for having Gola. Whenever I am at the beach I am bound to stop by to have my favourite kala khatta gola. I don't like any other flavour and they make my kala khatta gola PERFECTLY just the way I like it! But I have also tasted the butter scotch and rose milkmaid gola which friends mostly have from here and they love it. It tastes good too but in the end the regular flavours are better! One of the staff member was very friendly to us on my recent visit and even help us click some pictures!

If you are looking for the best kulfi stall at Girgaum Chowpatty and here it is! Loved their falooda and Milan kulfi so much. The service is great, and so is the staff. They greet you warmly and serve you good. There is no private seating arrangement but they always get you place in the common area. Kulfis at Chowpatty are a must. Overall a great place and pocket friendly too.
We had their choco chip milk maid gola and were instantly transported to dessert heaven. It super yummy and delicious. They top it off with lots of choco chips.
Sadly even they have upped their prices and lessened the quantity of choco chips.

Milk Maid Gola.
I would have never been here in the first place had it not been of the amazing memories of my courtship. Eating gola on chowpatty. I hated it then. I hate it now too.
But for love of the man. Here we were again. Butterscotch gola in milk maid served with caramel toppings. Not bad Jai Jawan. It was too sweet like drinking milkmaid with rose syrup. Still, I love the experience, of two people, in love, sucking milkmaid off the same ice stick.
For sake of love, for sake of doing silly stuff sometimes, for chowpatty, I 'll come back again.

A long drive to chowpaty after ages. Much needed time out. Ambience sucks as the shore is lined with filth. But away from the shore is this stall where in could spot crowd just as ants to sugar cube. My curiosity and gluttony rose to different levels after the visuals I glimpsed in everyone hands. Prettiest looking golas with a variety never experienced in my area of residence. Tried the regular mix Gola bursting with all 4 flavours. The quality of each syrup (orange rose pineapple and kacchi kairi) was top notch. I couldn't resist myself and went in for the Dry fruits with Rabdi Gola mix flavours of rose black currant and butter Scotch. OMG! I felt like trying so much more after just a spoonful of heaven in the dessert heat of Mumbai. Coming back for more definitely anytime I'm down town a visit here seems must.
Being a complete foodie who loves to try some new place every weekend. I had a chance to stop by for desert at this amazing place. chopatty is just the best place in mumbai but the jai Jawan stall is just incredible. Loved the golas and kulfis served by them. It's a must visit.

Pleasantly surprised to see this place listed on zomato! These Jai Jawan stalls are few in number, but all totally amazing (my dad has one too ^-^ )

Believe it or not, the gola feels like the ice is from nice pure water. Golas at most places just turn out to be a disaster for your throat, but this was different.

I was blown away with their seemingly endless menu of icecream, falooda, gola and combinations of all three!
Recommendations :
(i) Jai Jawan Fully Loaded Rabri Falooda and Dry Fruit Rabdi Falooda : These two are the falooda bombs. Served in glasses and filled to the brim with milk, kulfi falooda, rabdi and dry fruits, this is super delicious, super heavy and super worthy of the price.
(ii) Rabri Dry Fruit Dish Gola : Another bomb of a dessert from this stall, this is a mix of vanilla ice-cream with chocolate syrup, almonds, cashews, crushed pista, tutty frutty chunks spread atop a layer of crushed ice (gola) and 2-3 syrups over it. Very heavy and totally worth it!
Best part is that they accept both cash & UPI payments.

The service is quick and the shakes are amazing. We ordered the Black Currant shake and "Death by Chocolate" shake. The Death by chocolate shake is a must have for chocolate lovers. Both shakes were amazing. And they were served with paper straws, which is a plus for me as it was eco friendlyโป๏ธ. We also ordered the 7-in-1 kulfi which has multiple flavours of kulfi in one.
Must visit place at the beach side. It has a very impressive menu. Many of the times it is so crowded that you don't get a place to sit. But the ice cream and faludas tastes good.
I ate rabdi kulfi falooda at jai jawan stall and I want to say that it was really very very delicious. I would recommend every one to go there a nd have some mouthwatering rabdi kulfi and faloodas. jai jawan stall is the perfect destination for freezing desi dessserts.
