Ribbons and Balloons used to be a regular for our cakes before Theo opened up. The snacks are delicious as well. The cakes are perfectly baked and rich, as well as moist. The cappucino chocolate is a favourite. Love the quiches as well.
They have amazing options for chocolate cakes which taste amazing and are very pocket friendly. Other than cakes they also serve croissant and puffs that are amazing. Their truffle pastry is a must try.
The balloon has beautiful and beautiful decoration. Looks like a mouth watering with a really delicious taste! Loved that chocolate flavor which is OSM and my favorite cake shop is the ribbon and balloon and they have a very good butterscotch flavor cake. The staff is friendly. The quality of their products is really good and its taste is worth buying! The Goi Fudge layer on top of the browns is everything. Brown with walnuts also adds flavor

Any one planning to order cakes from Ribbons and Balloons - Diamond Garden outlet at Chembur, please be careful. Although their cakes are tasty and they have a wide variety their staff is extremely curt and rude. I had ordered a Raspberry and Mango cake yesterday for my sister.
As my sister does not eat chocolate or any other product with chocolate, I had specifically confirmed and checked with the person at the store that there will be no chocolate at all either in the cake or in the icing. He confirmed that there would be no chocolate. In fact I even requested him to make a mention of it in the order slip so that the person who would be writing the message also would be aware not to use chocolate icing for the same. But he said that was not required.
When I went to collect the cake today, to my horror I found that the cake was decorated with thin chocolate slabs and a couple of chocolate ribbons. When I questioned the guy who took the order he nonchalantly mentioned that " yeh cake mein tho chocolate aayega hi" and that these can be removed if I dont want them. When I asked him then what was the point in checking and choosing a cake that would have no chocolate and specifically requesting the same, he started shouting and accusing me of not having told him that I do not want chocolate in the decorations.
I tried to reason with him calmly but he very rudely dismissed me by saying that I can do whatever I want. I was upset by this behaviour and asked him to refund my money. By then a few other customers had walked in and he had to reluctantly return my money. Although I got my money back, I was disappointed as a special occassion had been ruined due to someone’s carelessness and not wanting to pay attention to their customer. I have been unable to get another cake till now - as most readily available cakes are either Black Forest or Chocolate - which doesnt suit my need. I for one, am never going back to this store again!
Can't emphasize on how delicious their cakes are!! And oh the brownies!! The brownies are just amazing. The staff is friendly. The quality of their products is really good and the taste is worth the buy!!Chocolate fudge brownie from @rnbmumbaiofficial is currently what i am munching on! The goey fudge layer on top of the brownie is all worth the money. Also the brownie is loaded with walnuts which enhances the taste even more!! I like to have brownies with a scoop of vanilla ice cream anyday and luckily i had some!
The walnut brownie and banana bread is an all time favourite. Try the new donuts and cake variants in stock!

One of the best place for pastrys and cakes. This is the only shop in chembur. Staff is good as well. Overall everything is good. Not much crowded.
The filled stomach also brings the big way when we talk about dessert.... the combination chocolate, truffle, cappuccino, coffe, mousse, rainbow flavour brings happiness to stomach.... the sweet tooth jumps out even without a thought of weight so guys stop thinking and reach to nearest ribbons and balloons
The best chocolates cakes with lots of chocolate puffs n more with mouthwatering creams n toppings of chocolate.

This is the place from where I get all the cakes, be it for some birthday at work or my own. It's not just about the cake but the presentation and flavours their cakes have. Loved the tiramisu.

Quite close to the Diamond garden, one of the few shops offering flavourful pastries and cakes. My personal favourite has always been the brownies. One of the best you can have in Chembur (molten chocolate on top and everything). A lot of variety is seen in their savoury rolls and puffs (chicken ones,the malai cheese one), most of which are good. The prices seemed to be quite high back then but now with the likes of Merwans and other competitors the quality offered for the reduced price is way better.
Firstly, this is the best cake shop in the area. I always get my birthday cake from here and I’m a loyal regular.
It has a good location, clean space and affordable pastries. (worth their prices)
The ‘Rich truffle’ pastry is the best chocolate number.
The brownie is also delicious. (Ask them to heat it).
But my most favourite and highly recommended item (savoury) is the Chicken Quiche. It has a soft pastry covering filled with sweetish Chicken Kheema. Delightful.
Other favourites include- The pineapple pastry, black forest pastry, butter chicken roll.

The savoury options are fairly alright but some of the chocolate pastries simply melt in your mouth. The taste buds go into a sugar shock everytime I pop by this place. I dislike the butterscotch one though.

A spacious cake shop I'd say. Its really close to my school so we would visit here every now and then. The pastries are great n it has good savoury rolls as well. The fudge brownies are an absolute delight. Its not overcrowded like other shops near the station area so a good hangout place

Most known for the Chocolate flavour cakes it has moose and dutch and truffle dark chocolate.I personally dont like their fruit or other flavour cakes.
Their savoury items are good but nothing special about it so does the croissants.
The place is Quite well occupied staff is nice quick and up to the suggestions.
There is flank up there on wall so you can stand and eat the pastries or savoury.

This place has good cakes and savories.
The paneer chilly roll is a must have , though it is super spicy.
Make sure that you have water, as they don't have anything to drink.
The pastries are better melted as their spoons often break midway.
Also, there are no seating arrangements.
So as long as you aren't tired, this place is for the sweet toothed and spice lovers.
Great I found this all egg-free pastry shop. Each one of the cakes look beautiful and also tastes yummy. On the savories side, there are non-vegetarian items. So be warned there. But they are kept in physically segregated display units. The shop is air-conditioned with a couple of convenient stand-up tables should you wish to relish them then and there. Enjoy lip smacking ones😋. They are fairly priced.
